Horrible,slow service. Was told I couldnt use the washroom, in spite of a permanent sign on the washroom door stating to ask an employee for the key. The girl said customers could not use the washroom. I couldnt wait in that long line, so I left the $60+ items and left the store. I used the washroom in an adjacent store, even though I wasnt a customer. I will never shop in that Dollar General again. I have previously used washrooms in other Dollar General stores. Also, the store was extremely messy with many empty shelves and boxes of stock blocking some aisles. This is the worst Dollar General Ive ever shopped in. Someone from the corporate office needs to visit that place.

Bargains, bargains, bargains. But only one person working on Sunday morning. Somebody didnt show up for work.

Decent selection of items, competitive prices, not usually too busy but they lack some customer service and usually takes a while to check out.

Always go here for house hold items and sometimes food. Friendly staff. If they are not at the register its because they are sticking shelves and they will notice you and run to help.

The store was clean and well stocked. It was easy to shop here with little waiting time in checkout line.

Most Dollar General stores are very friendly and customer oriented. This is definitely one of the good ones.

Store needs cleaning and properly stocking!I can say once this location got remodeled it’s been much better. It seems as if they all are being remolded and I hope that’s the outcome bc this store change needs a lot of improvements but they Thee than looks it’s a pretty good store.

So with a lot of retail and customer service being what it is these days, not great and not even good..........(for a dollar discount store) this place is great. Well stocked, courteous employees who work hard, friendly, neat and clean. I think this particular store is nice. There is another local competition similar to this store nearby and I used to go there until an incident occurred and I really wish there was a way to give under a 1 star rating because they deserve that however this particular dollar store here is great.

Their prices are very reasonable. I always find great deals.

This store has gotten better at organization. Some essential stuff like paper towels and toilet paper are still minimal but its more than expected.

The manager yelled out that the store would be closing in 10 minutes & he will be pulling the cash register. His tone was kinda rude. You could just say we close in 10 minutes. You do realize we could be shopping somewhere else who wants our business and is thankful we chose them? I will not return to that location.

This one is bad. No air conditioning on Jefferson St. People arent friendly. The one on Plainfield Rd. is great. Manager is friendly and very helpful.

I went there for Christmas money holding cards. I found them quickly and was in and out in less than 5 minutes. It was fabulous they were only a dollar a piece!! I had looked for the cards at the grocery store and they were 3-5 times as more! I love finding a deal on cards especially when you know the cards just end up in the garbage.

This store is always low on stock very congested tight or small and things are always scattered everywhere.

It is useful for cheap items. Sort of like what my grandparents would have called a five and dime. Nothing of quality. Ideal for quick one time use items. Has nice hours.

This store has made a nice turn around. The old management which was rude and unfriendly is out, and new friendly, helpful and smiling faces have replaced them. This new crew also doesnt have a problem with couponers. As long as the coupon is accurate for items being purchased(as it should be). Theyre doing a great job this far.

Long lunes and the cashier stopped to answer the phone when the store manager was in the office. She stopped checking out customers and was talking to the person on the phone and to the store manager. I guess the person on the phone was looking for a asst.manager job. Who know maybe he would be a better store manager. He looked out the office window and i am sure he saw the line was 10 people deep and he did nothing. I put my items down and walked out not buying anything. And went down the street to dollar general

Great place. Everything is a dollar only thing is the parking lot is a bit of an annoyance. Went down an aisle and had to back up to get out.

The new manager Shar has done a wonderful job to the store. It looks better than ever!!

Forget items being a dollar, I could hardly find anything for that price. Infact, most things were outrageous! Everything was junk! There werent even carts in the store because the clerk was too lazy. She gave the excuse she was the only employee working. There was no one else in store. Im never going here again.

****Dirty location, rude cashier, terrible experience. On the afternoon, of March 13, 2018. I had the worst experience. My visit was to purchase some hand sanitizer wipes for my toddler who was with me. The cashier was so unfriendly, unprofessional and mean. I asked the location of the product the cashier looked and acted as if I was asking for a uncommon item. As I paid for my items. The change was thrown back into my hand. Management needs to speak with this young lady.

This store is a total mess customer service sucks you cant even walk down some of the isles inventory is falling off of the shelves stacked in corners total mess this place needs a huge overhaul and management and cleanliness

Used to be a great place to pick up something real quick, but a rude women employee thats new followed other costumers around telling them they close in a few minutes in a unsessary attitude; once even demanding I get to the register right then. Theres a way of saying things I get it was late, but her attitude was completely unsessary. The last time we were there ten minutes til closing she turned us away. That was the last time Ill l be there and thats extremely unfortunate due to all the times Ive been there, but I will easily take my money elsewhere to get the things that I need.

The store is a disaster for some weeks, dirty and in almost all hallways, cars with new merchandise to accommodate on the shelves. Difficult or impossible go through some hallway.

I dont like these places but went with my wife. She paid for everything and I took and placed everything in my car while she was finishing up the transaction. She remembereft she had a coupon and wanted to apply it to the bill. They had me bring everything back into the store so they could rescan it to remove it then rescan again to rering it! Then something was not working right and this happened two more times! The manager was a mean looking/acting lady! Unprofessional. Why dont you have a system where you just scan the receipt?! Just about every other business does!

But then when I was paying for my items they asked me if I wanted to donate to a charity. I cant believe you just asked me that, I said. It wouldnt hurt to help out a little.

I always go to this dollar general and ive had it today. I waited in a long line to pay with one cashier on. As soon as the other cashier opened everyone ahead of me decided to go to the newly opened register, i decided to wait in the original line i was in and when everyone in front of me had already paid and left from the new line and i was still waiting i decided to move to new line and put all of my stuff on the shelf to buy and they tell me that this register is closed and i will have to move to line 3 ! Line 3 was the original line i was waiting in forever and i have all my things already to pay for on the counter. So i was like all.my stuff is out of the basket and already on the conveyer to pay for now you want me to move all my stuff to another line.?!!!?? No ! Then the cashier that was taking forever on line 3 decided to come over and try to grab all my stuff and take it to another register. I couldnt believe this really blew my mind how rude these employees were i waited just as long as everyone else and now u want me to move for a third time!! Well i wont be shopping at this dollar general anytime soon!!
