One of the best bakeries I’ve been too. Super kind and absolutely beautiful pastries. Do not sleep on this place, if you haven’t been you need to be.

These ladies have nothing but fresh, great tasting baked goods every day. Always warmly welcomed and rewarded for my walk over for a baked goodie. Only problem Ive found here is deciding what & how many items I leave with. Definitely good eats!

Omg! Everything was awesome-Croissants; ham and cheese, chocolate, roast beef sandwich (phenomenal!) cookies-The chocolate smells as good as you expect walking in!Coffee is awesome too!

I visited for the first time with my husband today. The store was very clean and bigger than I thought. Ham & Swiss croissant, bacon scone and blueberry scone were all delicious, and decaf latte and mocha were also very delicious. The cookies that We packed were also crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and delicious. Well be back.

Went here for the first time today and Im sorry I havent gone earlier. I got a lemon-blueberry scone and it was the best scone I have ever had. Wonderfully tart and lemony cut by the sweetness of the blueberries. Their twice baked almond croissants are spectacular as well. Looking forward to making this a regular stop on mainstreet.

The atmosphere is restful and beautiful! There were fresh flowers on the table, homey decor, and an awe inspiring collection of homemade pastries.I just cant give the coffee more than a 3 star review, which is heartbreaking. I REALLY want to. But... The frappe is a mix and is in a slushy machine. 😢 It comes in two basic flavors and one wasnt in stock. Then they add shots of flavor if you want. It was unbearably sweet and my sisters and I just couldnt finish them. They use syrup flavors from Walmart and the artificial sweeteners tore me up something awful. At $16 for 3 drinks, I expected a lot more.Please note I am only grading them on the premade frappes, I did not try the pastries or hot drinks.Also, please note, this is a small business and they did an AMAZING job on the interior decorating. It was beautiful and fresh.This is simply an honest review of the PREMADE FRAPPES.I would absolutely LOVE to try them again, should they ever start making the drinks themselves.

As a former baker, I would highly recommend this bakery. Well have to come back for lunch so right now Im just going to talk about their breakfast. Their breakfast scone had the right balance to be flaky as well as savory. Theyre blueberry scone had the perfect lemon glaze on it. We tried several of their homemade cookies and they were perfect! The balance of ingredients and the flakiness or chewiness of each product was, in my opinion, perfect! They have a variety of coffees including hot or cold and for lunch you come back for sandwiches salads and more. The shop has small pies like lemon meringue or coconut. And then they have several types of cakes. Oh boy! Again, the thing that impressed me most was the quality of the ingredients and the perfection of the consistency. Its in the historic part of downtown Crestview, across from the famous Hideaway Pizza. Again, I highly recommend this for a stop. Perfect for coffee and the pastry in the morning or afternoon. Perfect for a nice lunch or small get together. They even have table seating for 10 to 12.

Pretty nice little cafe!Coffee was good and service was kind.I went there on Halloween, so it was probably more packed with people than usual at any given time... I would imagine its a pretty great atmosphere at any other time besides the holiday. I wont blame them for the kids screaming and running all over the cafe. Ill definitely be back to see this place in real time, on a normal business day. Until then, I consider this to be a five star bakery and coffee shop. Really glad I checked it out.

Was very good. We had bought some pastries from there and they are definitely better than regular pastries! Also we saw a friend while we were there and she also said that this place was awsome! We did not ask her opinion, she just loved the place so much that she felt the need to just let us know! Take that for what you will. I will say that the pastries were a little pricey, but thats ok because im sure the small buisnesses need the help! Will go again and would recommend.

This place is incredible. On my reviews, when you see the words incredible and absolutely delecious, its really good. I have traveled to over 30 countries, lived in Germany for 7 years and let me tell you when it comes to pastries and sweets, this place is right up there with Belgium, French and English bakers, if not better. They also have the best croissants I have ever tasted.The pastries, to include their croissants, come glazed and unglazed. They have flourless and floured cookies. The flourless cookie, is amazingly delicious. The Twice Baked Almond Croissant is by far the best croissant that I have had in my travels. The flavors all match and not one flavor overpowers the other. You owe it to yourself if youre a fellow foodie, to come here. They serve all the coffee you need, not like the Starbuck menu but, they do espressos and lattes, and all the main ones in between. Caffeine sensitive? They have decaf too. The baked goods are great but the customer service seemed to be showing a “ preferential undertone” towards customers. I’d love to support local businesses but they have to show equal preference to customers.

Delicious. Even the plain croissant is the best. Flakey and buttery...never disappoints! Holidays and special occasions or stopping in for a cup of coffee and pastry. Yum. Its easy to splurge here, so dont be surprised if you walk out with more than you thought you wanted.

I just discovered this amazing little coffee shop a week ago and today had thr pleasure to meet the owners.I was born and raised in Europe and have traveled all over the world bit let me tell you that the chocolate croissants are the best I have ever had. I am sure their other baked goods are just as amazing.

Went here for the first time. I got a chicken salad crossiont. My son got a ham sandwich. Wow both were huge. Crossiont was so flakey. Chicken salad was awesome. Will be going back a lot

Very small, with only a limited selection of sandwiches, salads, and baked goods. However, everything is very fresh, and the baked items are delicious. I had the almond creme croissant. Yum!Has a real hometown feel and great service.

My mom and I just came here for the first time. Definitely recommend! I had the half turkey pesto sandwich and half cranberry & pear salad! I’m usually not a fan of turkey, but the lady working the front said they make their own pesto so I had to try it. I loved it! And the salad was sooo good too! Loved the raspberry vinaigrette. Then we had the lemon pie and a caramel cappuccino! The ladies working were all super friendly too. We will definitely be back

I absolutely LOVE this place. I had a chicken salad sandwich and cinnamon twist. Not too much mayo on the chicken and not to much sugar in the twist. The aesthetics are calming and cozy.

AMAZING food! You havent been to a bakery until you have gone to Back Home Bakery! Back Home was off the charts; one of few places that I would really call a proper bakery. I went there to get an assortment of pastries (croissants variety, and two scones) for my family, and we all loved it! My mother is from southern France, and she said that their croissants were the best shes had since shes moved to the US 26 years ago. Flaky and buttery... just how its supposed to be. My dad LOVED the pecan croissant and the lemon blueberry scone as well. The cheddar bacon scone also provides a very good savory flavor. Highly recommended! One of Downtown Crestviews hidden treasures!

To experience great customer service and hometown business owners is a great thing. Back Home Bakery has great food and coffee. I enjoyed more than what I bought. I loved the experience.

This little slice of heaven is buried downtown it is a looks like a little mom and pop bakery and they have the best coffee and food besides Starbucks coffee but they have the best I would recommend everybody going in there checking it out checking their cakes and desserts and breads sandwiches stuff like that

My husband and I went yesterday as well after reading the same post!!!! This place is awesome!!! We each got a medium coffee (With free refill if you eat in!!!) Which by the way was perfect because there coffee is so good you are going to want a second cup!!!! We were going to split one of there small apple pies and a chocolate croissant! Well I’m glad I took a small piece of the pie before my husband made that pie disappear!!!! They were both equally delicious!!! This Sweet Little Gem on Main Street is definitely a must stop on your schedule!!! It gets 5 Stars in all departments!!! The space is bright and cheery, very inviting!!! One of those places you want to linger. You know the kind of place you want to meet everyone at. They didn’t just slap paint on walls of an old building, they actually did a full remodel, and beautifully done!!! It is definitely the cleanest!!! Now the staff, this is a Family business and the staff is a mix of family and perfectly selected members. They were all very happy to help and really they all were smiling!!! Not forced smiles but smiling because they were happy!! (Well who wouldn’t want to work in a bright beautiful place) Back Home, is exactly that!!! It’s the place we all wish we had in our homes!!! I cant wait to return to this bakery because I found it about 20min before closing and they we just about empty. They did still have some cookies and they were delicious.

Went here on their first day and its just what I expected them to be! Everyone is so friendly and did amazing.Cookies were baked perfectly. I brought some back to the office and everyone loved them! Sandwiches are so big you wont be able to finish them. Im not a pesto person but their Turkey Pesto sandwich was so good. They mix the pesto with olive oil and shredded Parmesan and I love it. Their chicken salad is also really good (if you like it fruity) and served on their homemade croissants.Bake Home Bakery is just what small town Crestview needed. A family operated bakery where everything is made from scratch.

I agree they have great products. However, their Products are too pricey for Crestview. They have a selection of cup cakes, cookies, and scones. The cupcakes are miniature, not full size. I even noticed they have a childs 1/2 sandwich, of peanut butter & jelly, priced at 3.75. All other items are priced at 2.50. This is Crestview not San Francisco. If you ordered a dozen cookies the price would be 30.00. Sorry, but thats insane. I never tried their pie or cake. Just the cookies and miniature cupcakes. They also serve breakfast and lunch items. I never tried those.

I love this place. All of the food is delicious, and the service is lickety split. They even have quick grab sandwiches for people with tight work schedules. I highly recommend the flourless chocolate cookies, they are a taste of heaven. If you are allergic to egg, I would suggest inquiring about their chocolate cupcakes. Use your judgement, but my brother has an anaphylactic allergy to egg and there is a kind they make that is ok for him.Im so proud of yall for finally opening the bakery. You can definitely see the love and hard work that is being put into it. I hope it does well for years to come. ❤️
