Excellent customer service! The price online is the price you pay! I was able to figure out everything from taxes to how my down-payments would affect the price to different choices in financing! All online! And It wasn’t different when I got there either! We’re not pushy about selling me things I didn’t want. Ethan was so nice to work with. Very friendly and went through all the things on the car. We went out of our way to go and get this vehicle (1.5 hour drive) and would do it again. Unlike some local Mazda dealerships closer to my home - these people know how to treat their customers!!

I took my 2001 Miata in for an oil change within an hour of leaving the dealership my check engine light turned on… I called and tried to bring my car back to the dealership and brought it in the following day long story short they told me they had nothing to do with what was wrong with the car. Would not recommend getting your car serviced here at all. After I got home I inspected the problem myself and clearly plain as day one of the valves around my engine air filter was not attached at all. How could they have worked on my car and not seen this? Wasted my time and money never coming back here again

Bought a car from them and overall the experience was ok. I bought the Premium Plus package that comes with 360 cameras, parking sensors, navigation and other features. Nothing during the sales pitch or completing the paperwork did Nico (my salesperson) mention anything about the navigation needing an additional purchase to use. According to Nico, the car comes with navigation, but if you want to use it - that is $400 extra because you need to buy the sim card. Nice of Mazda Crystal Lake and Nico to help reinforce the sleazy reputation of car salespeople and dealerships. After multiple conversations Nico said he would take care of my issue. After a few calls and text - NOTHING. I guess it was time to move on to the next deal. Which is shortsighted of either Nico or management. I will gladly take my car to another Mazda dealership for service.Kudos to the finance lady (apologies i forgot her name), she was nice and straight forward. Without her, 2 stars.

My experience with Ed in service was excellent I was told by a different dealer that at 45000.00 miles 2018 Mazda cx3 that I needed a battery and transmission fluid change. All was false all I needed was break fluid flush and an alinement. I had a lunch date and the maintenance was taking longer so he arranged for a ride to my lunch I will never have my Mazda maintenance done at any other dealer Ed is the best

I live in a area with 4-5 Mazda dealers that are all about equal distance, and so far this has been the best experience so I feel like a review is warranted. I also wasn’t asked to give a review which makes me more likely to give one compared to come places that pressure customers to give positive reviews.Anyways, I needed the forward facing sensors calibrated after replacing the windshield in my Mazda and these guys had a good price and the availability to get me in compared to others I called. Another dealership in the area quoted double the price. In addition they didn’t try to sell me in any additional services and seemed knowledgeable, including to the point where they knew about not getting a car wash for 24-48 hours after a new windshield.

This is most genuinely “hands down” the most fantastic experience I have ever experienced at a dealership. These folks were all about ME, and ensuring I was taken care of. I had my 4 year old niece with me, and I can sometimes have a hard time managing her. These folks were so thoughtful and patient, and even did their best to ensure her experience was happy.When my car was ready, they took their time to ensure my phone was synced. I was really impressed when I came to get my oil changed last week. I called ahead to see if they were busy since I had time off of work. They said that it was a good time to come in which was about two in the afternoon. When I came in I was helped by Natalie who was very attentive when I first walked in the door. My oil change took about an hour but then I found out I had a hole in my tire so it was a little longer than that.During the whole process they kept me very informed. The whole process was rather painless and easy. After transaction she also informed me that I was going to be meeting a couple of new things on my car in the near future. But I appreciated what she gave me estimates of what they would cost which is very important for me to know seeing as that will determine when the repairs will be done. Honestly the whole experience was perfect because of Natalies attention and positive attitude towards me. I have been there several times before and not receive the same amount of service. So I was very impressed with her.

This is a great organization to work with. I communicated with Leah over email for about 2 weeks. I found the car I wanted and I was in-out in 40 min with my new vehicle. These folks are super easy to work with if you like to do business that way.
I spoke with Leah the night before I went in who told me they had room to negotiate. She told me it wouldn’t be thousands and I confirmed with her it wouldn’t be hundreds. I drove from the city of Chicago the next day for an 11am appt to see the car and the salesman told me there was no wiggle room. I left and went to Autobarn in Evanston and got a great deal. Who honestly lures someone in on false pretenses for a 2 hour round trip drive? Shady and sad.
After several visits of different dealers, eventually I chose Andersen Crystal lake. Good sales people, no hassles, no push, no psychological game. Look for Jordan and Derek team, they are really good, I mean really.

Amazing staff. Showed up late for appointment for oil change because of accidents and still took me in with excitement, happy to see me. Went to their fancy coffee machine that I couldn’t figure out how to work and then 3 different workers offered to help me get my coffee. My phone was dying at the time and I went up to the counter to pay before it died and she offered to lend me her charger the whole hour I was waiting without me even asking. Then I paid a very reasonable price for my synthetic blend oil change which was cheaper than anywhere else I could’ve gone.
Just leased a 2019 Mazda CX-9 from Jordan Acevedo at Anderson. The BEST car experience ever! No pressure from the initial test drive to the final document signatures. Just awesome, friendly people. The paperwork process took less than two hours from start to finish (half the time than other places) and they apologized for the delay! I will recommend them to anyone looking for a Mazda. First service for Mazda 3 Sport. Didn’t buy at this dealership so was concerned how helpful they might be. They were great. It was just an oil change and tire rotation but still feel confident to return based on their attitude with me and others in waiting area.
My fiance and I went in looking to test drive vehicles knowing that we were on the edge of needing a new car. We went in after having looked for a few months and narrowed down what we wanted based on our needs. Our previous experiences at other dealerships were lackluster at best. Upon entering Anderson we were welcomed, not hounded. Fortunately for us, we paired up with Joe. Joe was fantastic through the whole process! At no point in time were we pressured into things we didnt care to see and he presented us with detailed information that, ultimately, helped finalize our decision. From beginning to end the process was smooth and very stress free. The sales manager was great and finance worked with us to help us come in under budget! I would highly recommend checking this place out, even if its just for a test drive!

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and was told it was in perfect running condition and that I wouldn’t have to do any maintenance right away. 3 weeks later I had to eat 135$ for an oil change. 2 months later, my transmission light turns on. I called to make an appointment to do diagnostics and see if the warranty the dealership provided covers or if the one they sold me might cover but they turned me away and said I had to take it to a Ford dealership.Make sure you have someone double check any vehicle you are thinking of purchasing even if they tell you it’s in perfect running condition. The test drive felt fine but it took only a few weeks for me to start needing maintenance. Also look closely at any warranty and make sure they will actually be willing to help you when something goes wrong. If it is not a BMW or Mazda make they will not provide any services and you will have to take it somewhere else.
Smooth sailing through the whole process. Ive never bought a new car so quickly and painlessly. Plus they had a much larger selection of the vehicles I was interested in then my local dealer. Highly recommended!

We recently bought a new SUV from these guys and could not be happier :) Tyler McMillin was our sales rep and he is awesome! He was well-informed, gave us lots of personal space to discuss our options, and we never felt pressured. He took the time to show us all the features of the car we were interested in. He pays a lot of attention to detail. His manager, Derek, was also very personable and very amicable to work with. After our initial visit, Tyler stayed in touch via texts but we never felt like he was annoying us. He answered several of the questions we had. We went back and forth on the numbers but eventually came to a mutual agreement. The overall atmosphere of the car dealership was very pleasant — something that is hard to find at many car dealerships! We would definitely recommend Anderson Mazda.
From out of state and had an issue with my bumper and coolant leak (radiator crack). They weren’t able to help me with the fix but they did all they could... without charging me. I can not believe the kindness of Robert and the whole dealership. BLOWN away by this customer service experience.
Purchased a 2015 Mazda 6 from Mazda of Crystal Lake at the end of December. This was my first car purchase and I have to say it was painless and very low stress. I never felt pressured to buy unlike other dealerships I was shopping around at. They were quick to get all of the options I ordered with the car installed. It was an overall great experience and if you are looking into a Mazda for your next vehicle, be sure to check this place out.
Their service dept is atrocious. Both experiences Ive had with them were bad. This last time, I brought my CX9 in for a possible warranty issue. They took all day to call me and say they couldnt hear the noise. I told them to try again because it was very noticeable. The next day they called back and found 2 warranty issues and magically another $2,300 in repairs that needed to be done. They also charged me for a wheel alignment that they said I needed after the warranty issues were fixed (according to my regular mechanic this should have been covered). They appear to have predatory pricing as well since I took my car to Biggers and a couple of the services were almost half as much.

Tried to call early in the morning to schedule a service time for my Mazda, they never responded or returned my call, so I drove over there and brought my car in, when it was finished they asked me if I wanted a free car wash which would only take a few minutes, so I said yes, well, it took them 40 minutes to wash my car, and it turned out they washed someone elses car instead, so speaking with the service person they said they were doing their best to accommodate me with not having an appointment, even though I had called earlier and tried to get on, the person had a very snobby attitude. Overall I will not go here again and will take my car to the other mazdas around here.
This was the best car buying experience Ive had so far. My son is going to need a car in the next year and we will definitely be going back to Mazda if Crystal Lake.

These guys are unreal! Rob (service advisor) and Ersom (technician) did what my other Mazda dealer wouldn’t. I came in with car rattle issues on my brand new Mazda 3 2019. I took the car back to Mazda of Evanston 4 times to get the problem solved and nothing. They claimed they couldn’t duplicate the problem 4 times despite me showing it to them, and sent me on my way. I had enough and drove an hour to Crystal Lake to give these guys a try because I had heard good reviews. Rob and Ersom went above and beyond to make sure my problem was fixed. Ersom foam insulated virtually the entire car, tested each speaker individually, put all my components back together properly (something that Evanston failed to do twice), cleaned the interior of the car (Evanston left two massive smudges on my white leather interior once), filled my tank and cleaned the whole interior and exterior. Rob kept me in the loop the whole time, texting me updates over the course of the two weeks they had the car. NIGHT AND DAY is all I gotta day. Car sounds great too but I’m more impressed with the customer service! I know crystal lake is a hike from the north shore but damn it was worth it! Thanks Rob and Ersom!

This is my subjective opinion - I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. After visit I had following thoughts in my head: staff are cheap, cares only about money, they were trying to sell me cars for way extra price. Of course I came to this dealership prepared and knew prices. Also I have experience in car industry so, sell me garbage is kinda problematic. I could argue and prove real price but instead I just walked away. We make our own choices and choose dealerships with cars. I found my car in different place much cheaper.
Positive experience. They were able to get me in for an appt within a day. The service department was very helpful and nice. When I picked up the vehicle, the receptionist got a porter to check the car for the key since she didnt have it.
Zach at the dealership made my CX-5 purchase quick and easy with no pressure. First new car in 10 years and it was an easy process. Recommend Anderson Mazda if you want a new car and go see Zach.
Very nice staff. Didnt know a huge amount about the car I was interested in. But I was buying a Honda CR-V, as they are a Mazda dealer that is totally expected. They honestly and truthfully do have the best prices around. They always price their cars, at least used cars, at a very fair price that is lower than you will find in the area. In fact we drove all the way from Wilmette to get this car. And I have to say I was a bit grumpy when I got there, we did this on a Friday afternoon, and traffic was crazy. But as I said before the staff was very nice, and personable! And my mood changed very quickly. I would definetly recommend anyone looking for a used car to check them out. Also I was informed after I purchased my car, that if I am ever in Crystal Lake again (about an hour and a half away from where I live) I get free car washes for life! So next time I am in the area, thats definetly a nice perk to take advantage of!
Overall we had a good experience. The car we bought for our daughter, a CPO 2014 Mazda3 S Grand Touring needs to be taken back now 2 days after we purchased it, to have a infotainment system and navigation problems fixed, which should have been addressed before we left but also the fact that 1 key does not work at all, even if it is only perhaps a battery replacement situation it should have been tested and working.
Tyler helped us. He was great. The process was relatively fast and painless...a lot better than experiences at other dealerships.

3rd mazda 6 and this thing is falling apart! Never again the recalls and rust amount for a 2011 is terrible. Replaced sub frame, airbags Cadillac converter. Felt in jams coming up. Mirror is worping, vynial picked up and plastic falling off throughout. Original brakes tires removed after 10,000 miles. Worst car I have ever had.
Tyler McMillin did a good job. No pressure to buy. If he didnt know the answer to a question he found out quickly. Had a good knowledge of the. cars features and then showed us how to use them.

We had a great experience buying a used Mazda CX-9 here with a full warranty. We loved the car and the lady who sold it to us.Since then, our experiences have been worse every time. In December, the dealership had our car for one month in attempts to fix an issue with the computer. During this time we needed to ask for a loaner car. Luckily they were able to provide us with one since they literally took a full month to fix the problem. I am currently sitting the the lovely waiting room at this establishment again waiting for enterprise rent-a-car to come deliver the loaner I was promised on Saturday. We have had issues with the AC on our car so we made an appointment to drop it off very first thing on Saturday morning. We received a call on Saturday evening saying they wouldnt have a chance to look at it until Monday morning. What happened to our appointment time? And if you are keeping our car for an undisclosed amount of time, why wouldnt you offer us a loaner. Instead we called and asked for one. They assured us they would set a vehicle aside for us to pick up any time after opening on Monday morning. I came at 10:15 am in order to get it quickly while I still have child care available for my son. When I arrived, I was told that they would call enterprise and cover the cost of the rental car and that they would be here in roughly a half hour or so. It is now 11:25 am and I am still waiting on a car. Over an hour. Just sitting here without any updates from the staff. Not even an apology for the extreme inconvenience.We have become increasingly disappointed in this establishment and their customer service since buying our car and are planning to get a copy of our warranty so we can take it to another Mazda dealership with any troubles we have in the future. The customer is obviously not a priority at this place.

Very professional and well organized. I had a recall on my airbag, and they called to confirm my appointment the morning of, and when I got there I saw they were busy and expected to be waiting a while. They got my car right in, and performed the service in under an hour as promised.

I called ahead of time to ask about the car. When i showed up the battery was dead. It took them 5 hours to get everything ready. After we bought the car, I asked for a second key. They rudely told me that they wouldnt give me one. Finally the man i was dealing with offered to cut me a check to pay for the second key. Now he is not responding to my emails, or phone calls. I would not recommend buying a used car from here ever.

I avoid this place at all costs. Terrible communication. Terrible customer service/follow up. I have purchased three cars here, as I like Mazdas, but never again. Dealt with them for nearly ten years. I will drive as far as I need to avoid giving even one dollar more to this dealership. The parts desk is the only department that I havent run into problems.

This is Ted Ahrens giving feedback on recall repair done on 3/6 on my black Mazda 6. The recall repair was done well and the support was professional for both the initial scheduling and repair day. The loaner given that day was very nice and clean. The process in all was very easy. My disappointments with the recall were one with Mazda in general and the other with the Crystal Lake dealership. The first was that it was not clear by Mazda that the parking brake issue had nothing to do with the braking system. I got my first notification in October last year. I had been calling since waiting for the parts to be available for the repairs. But in the mean time I did not want to service my brakes and the one rotor has become warped and will cost significantly more to repair. Normally I would not let brake maintenance go this long and feel if the instructions by Mazda had been better this would not have happened. The other issue is with the dealership. While they made the process as easy as possible in all this is still an inconvenience. Other dealerships I have dealt with (not just Mazda) would have cleaned my car both inside and out so you fealt like you got something for the effort. But this was not done with the Crystal Lake dealership. The Service department is a key sign to me of how good the dealership is. I love my Mazda and will most likely buy another when the time comes. As I work in Richmond, this dealership was one of the key ones I was considering for a future purchase. But I will look at others before I consider buying from this one.
Went there recently for the first time because our regular Mazda dealer closed. Nice small Mazda dealership, clean, friendly staff. The only problem is this dealer is too far away, 20 miles one way, 40 miles round trip.

My sales experience with Kent was great, however my experiences with Ed and Derek in the service department: not so much. I completed my second less than satisfying interaction with the service department today. Communication was poor in a number of ways. I was not called or otherwise notified when my vehicle was ready for pick up, and no one was interested in explaining to me what they did to my car or why I had been experiencing the problem when I called to ask. I researched the problem online before I went in to pick up my car, and asked Ed to please explain the issue so I know how to handle it in the future. Rather than taking a minute or less to explain the way that my TPMS system works (which Mazda should really consider changing to direct TPMS), he spoke to me as though this-is-just-the-way-all-cars-work and dismissed my question as though I should just sign off on the work order and leave without understanding why the poorly designed TPMS system is going to regularly imply that I have a flat tire when I do long distance driving on an expressway.

If Mazda of Crystal Lake does do this, I was not informed of this perk.**Be more consistent with automobile status reports. I receive them sometimes, and other times I do not after having vehicle serviced.**It may be a coincidence with individuals having the same names, but two employees, Edward Rubio and Robert Jacobus have Google reviews for Mazda of Crystal Lake, which goes against Google’s Local Guides Conflict of Interest policy.**The experiences below refers to work that was completed on a 2009 Mazda 3.Generally, I’ve had no issues with routine maintenance, expect vehicle returned with a dirty interior: oil/grease droplets/hand prints on the steering wheel, driver side door panel, gear shift lever, handbrake lever, and center console. Once also received vehicle back with a white powdery substance on front passenger seat.Service advisors: Tom Martin, Jeff Frank, Robert Jacobus, and Edward Rubio have been good.Always were able to provide a loaner: 2018 Mazda CX-5.November 2017 -- Interior of car was messy, oil/grease spots/hand prints on a variety of surfaces (see above), seat towel covers were thrown off seats, glove compartment was open and car insurance documentation was missing, four stray bolts lay free from the old struts in the engine bay. Returned inside and spoke with Tom Martin about everything and got Erasmo Medina, who came outside and retrieved the old bolts and apologized. Not able to find insurance documentation. Drove away that evening, steering wheel was off-center to the left and immediately heard squeaks emanating from the front left strut/wheel area when turning left.Returned following morning, insurance documentation found in garage atop alignment machine. Technician placed it atop machine and supposedly had used documentation for entering details into the alignment machine, which made no sense. Could have misunderstood what Tom and Erasmo were telling me. Tom apologized. Erasmo and I also went for a drive to identify the squeaking noise. Nothing was found upon inspection. Erasmo corrected the steering wheel alignment to be on-center. Extremely displeased with this service.December 2017 -- Returned to the dealer as I had a continuous loud clunk emanating from the front left strut/wheel area. Tom brought me into garage where Scott Parsons identified the front left strut mount had failed and needed to be replaced as this was a serious driveability/safety concern. Front right strut mount was fine but exhibited the same squeaking noises I had originally encountered with the front left. They recommended I change front right strut mount as well as it may eventually fail. Tom provided $30 discount for the total amount due for repair. Do not know if the failure was due to an initial improper installation, faulty parts, or KYB struts not being the same quality as OEM.March 2018 -- Erasmo inspected vehicle for sticking parking brake, no issue was identified. Only tightened the center console parking brake nut. Car was returned with the center console trim unclipped around the cupholders and parking brake, and grease/oil was on a multiple surfaces (see above). The sticking parking brake issue eventually started to reoccur.April 2018 -- Brought vehicle for clunks in front. Erasmo identified no issues. Clunks continued to occur.June 2018 -- Randy Polit identified clunks (from April 2018) and replaced, front left link, front right strut mount, and front right half shaft axle. This repair eliminated clunking.July 2018 -- Returned for the sticking parking brake issue. Scott identified cause (from March 2018) of sticking parking brake due to faulty rear right brake caliper that needed to be replaced.Conclusion: Not pleased with workmanship at this service department.
