They had no problem staying past closing hours to make sure myself and two buyers could close out properly. Very easy to work with & soundly asked me legit sale questions as if i mattered! I called today about an issue I wanted clarification on about a warranty I purchased on a Jeep a bought from them in 2017. I explained to Dan Smitht the situation and informed him about my knowledge of the warranty expiring a few months ago. That wasn’t my issue. I was wanting clarification on the Jeep Dealership telling my I had a Canadian vehicle and the wouldn’t and couldn’t service it. I was told by their manager at Anderson Jeep that extended warranties didn’t cover Canadian cars. He informed me to reach out to Honda to find out why I was sold a warranty I couldn’t use in the first place. Dan was so very arrogant and rude to me. He asked me why was I even calling since my warranty was expired anyways. And told me the information I got was wrong and instead of explaining to me about Can/Am vs Canadian vehicles, he just spoke to me like I was dumb and didn’t matter since I was no longer under warranty with them. I ended up calling the actual warranty place and received valuable information and called Honda back and spoke with Laura and Darryl who were so helpful and nice. Darryl explained everything to me and I’ll be making a separate good review just for him. But due to Dan, I’ll never recommend Honda to anyone because the experience was just that bad speaking with him. When running a business, you must treat your customers with respect. I’ll be going else where to purchase my next car.

Friendly from time I brought my car in until I picked it up. The cost was the same as the independent place down the street. Had questions for the technician and he answered all of my concerns. When I asked they said most of their techs have been there for 15 + years. Always buy Honda and Ill always keep coming back. Great service.

We were very serious in purchasing a vehicle from Brilliance Honda. We had a concern with the way the car started and wondered if it was due to a battery issue. We wanted to see if the dealership would be willing to ease our concern prior to signing purchase agreements by swapping out the old battery and confirming it was just that. Note, when we first visited the dealership last night, the sales associates had to jump the car to start the vehicle, hence where our reservations came from.However, rather than being politely told that this could not be done, Warren C., sales manager, treated us like an inconvenience and belittled us by referring to “skeletons” in my husband’s head when we voiced our concern. He also proceeded to make our concerns sound idiotic in nature because we were questioning the reliability of a “new” car (it’s a 2015). When I made it known that I did not appreciate the way he was treating us, he basically pointed us to the door. We ended up walking away from the car because of his treatment. While walking away, I overheard him tell the sales associate, Matt R., “sorry buddy”. If I were Matt, I would also be upset because he cost him a sale for a very unnecessary reason.
Absolutely mis-represented a used vehicle and caused me to waste an 8 hour round trip drive, not to mention the time, money, and other inconveniences! Utterly ridiculous after the many pointed questions I asked about the vehicle. Robert in sales should be absolutely ashamed of the job he failed to do here. I was very specific and he was either very incompetent or simply incapable. I’ll leave you to decide. I take absolutely no joy in writing this negative review, but the truth must be told to help others avoid the same fate!

Rob was phenomenal and incredibly pleasant to deal with. I had an odd situation with my drivers license due to the pandemic but he was very patient and thorough with helping me out and getting me into my new 2021 accord sport 2.0! This is my 17th car and I would rate my experience with brilliance Honda number one. I also had a very pleasant conversation with rick and vince about life in general. Laura at the front desk was very helpful. All in all from start to finish it felt like I was being taken care of by family members. My girlfriend is going to be in the market for a car in fall and we are going to brilliance Honda!
The experience at the dealer was great but the bad came after. i gave a $500 deposit so they would hold the car that I was buying because i was coming in out of state, I never used the deposit toward the initial down payment and was told that I was going to get it re deposit back in to my account which never happened, every time I would contact the sales person he said that dont worry itll get deposit this week or some excuse but I never got it and being that I was out of state I couldnt really go in and get in person so eventually I just gave up and took it as a loss, I never posted about this even thought it happened months ago but today was the last draw. I purchased an extended warranty that covered my windshield and the sales guy when he was explaining the coverage mentioned that any cracks under 6 inches would get sealed and repaired and anything over the 6 inches they would just replace it, come to find out today when I read the contact because I needed to make a claim it stated that any damage over 6 inches would NOT get repaired or replace. I know its my fault for not reading the contract while signing it but I shouldnt have too if the person was honest and didnt lie about it. any future buyers just be careful and read everything before signing and also if you make a deposit make sure you get it back or use it toward your purchase because they dont seem to be very honest with some things.
My experience:Do not buy cars for them, worst customers service ever. I purchased a Toyota Prius a year ago, with minor dent problem and they said will take care of it ( they will call me back when parts will be shipped) I never got call back!In 6 months I paid off my loan and I should get back my money ( from GOP insurance) believe me or not I never got anything from them.Unprofessional customers service . all “their best “is just to selling you a car. That’s it. Highly not recommend this place . Stay away.
I called three times to get a replacement engine for my ridgeline. Twice I was transferred from parts to service. Why these two departments cant work together to supply an accurate quote without your customers doing the leg work I dont know but they gave me a 3 year 36,000 warranty for $6000 I called back to get things in writing and scheduled the appointment but it took a full week and a follow-up call to finally get a response from Ted for $10,000. Needless to say they do a good job plastering Brilliance on their signage but fall short in service.

Came in on a Saturday was originally supposed to meet with Jeff but we were running behind. We were redirected to a very nice lady that showed us a couple of vans. We got to the first offer which we of course outright rejected because it’s usually not very good. After that first rejection the sales manager came over, sat down and pretty much sent us on our way. I happily left and bought a Hyundai Palisade which I was happy to put 8,000 down on the following Monday. Perhaps next time take some time with your customers instead of getting them out of your showroom floor because you don’t think they are going to be worth your time.
I had an oil change on 5/5/2021i never had the experience of having oil leaks. I have been calling the brilliance Honda manager I had no returned call. I will never go back to Brilliance Honda for an oil change they are using recycled oil and they did not install the filter under the car I spend $65 and paid extra money to fix it properly without using recycled oil.
Hector was my salesman? He took care of me and so did the finance team! Great people at Honda i recommend them and they will take care of you!

I was very nervous at the thought of buying anything even semi-new. I worked with Jason as my salesman and I came in knowing what I wanted. He set me up in the 2016 HR-V I saw posted online. I had previously driven a 2000 Toyota Camry with almost 300k miles. I didn’t have full coverage insurance and at 8 pm at night, it took awhile to get ahold of one so he stayed late til we got it done. Unfortunately about a month later I ended up in a bad accident that totaled that vehicle. My insurance company basically settled for the amount I owed on the car (since Honda’s hold their value so well). Even before Honda Financial had their check from Geico regarding the ‘16 HR-V, Brilliance Honda and Jason set me up in a brand new 2020 Civic. I had originally gone to look and just make a deposit but instead they used the letter from Geico declaring how much they were paying and got financing for a brand new car. I was amazed! I highly recommend Brilliance Honda and Jason!

Jason called me early last week to let me know that Honda would buy my lease and get me into a brand new one for a lesser price. At first I was a little skeptical because it sounded too good to be true. Turns out, it was true and I was able to talk I to Honda on a Saturday Morning, test drive the car I had picked out and drove off with it that very same day. Brilliance Honda and Jason did a fantastic job with getting everything handled and getting me into a new car.

Was chatting with Max about a car I really wanted on Thursday. He had me fill out the credit application and told me he would get back to me “Tomorrow.” I get a text Friday night at 11:15pm saying that he would let me know tomorrow (again.) Then I get a text at 9:49am on Saturday saying the car sold yesterday.I needed to know if they would hold the car until I was able to fly there to get it. If they had told me they couldn’t hold it that long I would’ve tried to make plans to get there earlier, instead I was lied to and then they sold the car on the day they were supposed to get back to me. Worst experience with a dealership I’ve ever had!
Process was EASY. Called up Honda on Tuesday and let them know I was interested in test driving a new civic the following day. They told me to come in and ask for Matt Rollak. I came in the next day, sat down and discussed what I was looking for and my budget. Test drove the car and set something up for Saturday to finalize the deal. Matt and the finance guy I worked with were great and made everything smooth and quick for me.

They have no clue what to do about service ..nobody can follow up on each other ..its one or none.. if the person that was taking care of the services gone theres absolutely nobody else to follow up on it because they have no way of doing it apparently hate to use them but theyre the only ones close by

Deceiving sales practices. Listing cars on their website for a good price and then refuse to sell them when you go in. Salesman didn’t even know which trim came in front or AWD. Walked out and will go somewhere else even if I have to pay more.

I just got a great car at a fair price (which is better than a fair car at a great price) from Brilliance Honda. Matt Rollak was great on having everything ready every time I visited. The negotiation process with the “manager” was the same as every other dealer so was trying to sell you protection plans and extended warranties (which btw if they add value to you and you’re really interested in them don’t say yes to the first price they offer, there’s a second price later that’s about half the first price).So, a very good dealer in the typical business of selling cars.

Matt Darwit went above and beyond to help me lease a car! Not only did he match the car to my preferences but he did a great job of making me and my mom feel comfortable while we were waiting. Compared to other dealerships where you are often waiting there all day, we were in and out of there in a little over 3 hours while still feeling informed and satisfied. He thoroughly went over all the special features in the car and even gave us a sheet of features incase we needed more information. Being first time leasers, we left with a great understanding of what is expected from us and also about the car. Matt provided great customer service and because of this I will definitely be leasing from Brilliance Honda in the future. Thank you so much!
If I could give the service center 10 stars I would. We were driving through on vacation when our alternator went out. We had to stop at the closest dealership hoping their service center could get us in. Even though they were short staffed and we didnt have an appointment, Don helped us out anyways, calling to check on the part right away which thankfully we were able to get. They had the Pilot fixed up in under 3 hours even after finding out that our hydrologic system leaked causing the alternator to short out and having to fix that too. I cant thank them enough for getting us back on the road.
I had such a good experience purchasing a Honda Pilot at Brilliance Honda of Crystal Lake. I recommend working with Hector from sales. He was very patient and helpful as I narrowed down exactly what I wanted. Megan and Vince were also great to work with regarding the financing. All in all, it was a great experience and I love my new car!
We bought a new HR-V and love it. Brilliance Honda makes it so easy to do financing, get all the paperwork done without a bunch of haggling. We had agonized over a new Honda Fit, which we loved and still have, but with over 250,000 miles decided to get a new Honda to travel. The HR-V is quieter, sits higher and is a nice smooth ride. We couldnt be happier!
Great experience from beginning to end. Our sales consultant was Eva Gagliardi she was awesome and it was a no nonsense, no BS, no hidden fees type of deal. Everything that was advertised online was exactly what it was once we arrived at the dealership. Glad we made the trip from Chicago to Brilliance Honda, it was well worth it.
My wife and I felt that COVID safety practices were not followed. This dealership posts on their website, The health and safety of our staff, customers, and community is our top priority. The salesperson did not maintain a reasonable separation from my wife and me. Most concerning to us is that as we were getting in the vehicle to take a drive, she got in the vehicle with us to join the drive. We should have jumped out immediately and left but we took a short drive and then we left. As we drove home we wondered how many other customers she had been in a vehicle with in the past few days before doing this with us.We have been to several other dealerships recently and each was more respectful and careful of their customers safety - not even suggesting need to join for a test ride.
