The store itself is fine. We dont typically come through until Halloween, but had to get a few last minute things for a baby shower.I think they may be under staffed because we waited in the checkout for a very long time. My suggestion would be to find a better way to cater to people who are planning large events with multiple projects, somewhere else in the store or online, instead of at a check out with limited help.Price-wise, they arent the cheapest. They see great for creative or unique balloons, but if you need something simple try a cheaper store.

This place is the worst. Theres always 1 person working the register with tons of people in line, and its been this way for years. I hate having to go there and avoid it as much as possible unless I absolutely NEED to go here for something. Plus the store was half empty -as in product on the shelves- when I was there. Is it closing? Sure looked like it.

I have gone to this store to plan two suprise birthday parties in the past few months. One was in May! And the other was recent. Im planning another suprise party here in a week and I am beyond happy with the prices that this store has to offer. Im able to provide parties in my home, for a cheap price, while making amazing memories.Prices are cheaper than anywhere else local ive seen, for the quality.

Not a bad party city at all. The place was well organized, and a little bigger than your average party city. The workers were very friendly and very helpful when trying to pick out balloons for a prom Im hosting.

Everything you need for your party in one place. The staff was wonderful and will keep me coming back for all of my party needs!

Great place!! Ernie went the extra mile today and helped us out tremendously with our gender reveal. We opted for one of the boy or girl balloons and he gladly accepted to helped us out. I would highly recommend this place (Crystal Lake, Party City) to anyone!!! Thanks again Ernie and we can’t thank you enough.

Rude and untrained employees at new location. Needed help with tax exempt form for work and was met with a blank stare. Id like to think that it is just a rare thing they encounter but they could have been kind about it. Also, read the fine print on their deals. Unfortunately they got rid of their decade sections but now have more costumes.

I just went to Party City to pick up a few things. I used a $ 100.00. Bill to pay since I needed change to pay some moving help. The manager was very rude to the cashier right in front of me because they didnt have enough change in the drawer. She was mad because she had to go get some. I was stunned at her rudeness an unprofessional attitude. I also could not find all the items I needed due to being out of stock. Ill shop elsewhere from now on.

This company needs to get their stuff together. The Algonquin location has been out of helium for over two weeks and now have a wait time for them to fill balloons at crystal lake location because of this. Also ridiculous that they charge per balloon to fill with helium when purchasing a pack you would like filled.

Ok I love getting stuff from here first off, I was there yesterday and my daughter went to the counter asking for a balloon 1 balloon and the red haired lady said thatd it be 1 hour wait for a balloon. I couldnt wait an hour for a balloon so at the checkout, there was a man in front of us paying and he asked the red haired lady for a balloon, mind you there was a line of 4 people behind me, she asked which one he told her she did it. We cashed out and there was a lady standing by the balloon counter and she said to her, if you want a balloon ot will be an hour wait. I looked at my daughter in confusion so yeah not fair services unfortunately. I just wanted 1 balloon too :(

Perfect store for kids birthdays and holiday decorating at reasonable prices. Staff should be trained to be more suggestion oriented because not everyone knows the exact item theyre looking for -- 😐. Hard to compete with the dollar store pricing we know...But let the customer know that you are there to help not just point down an isle --- the old location did not have this hiccup.

How is it that you dont have helium to fill the balloons and refuse to let me purchase the ballons because they are not filled with helium? Also refused to let me buy the helium tanks for sale and fill them. This place is awful. I wont be back again.

I went to part city after reciving a coupon and when I went to use my 25% off the Cashier [ older heavy set lady] got upset that i was using the coupon. Why send me a coupon if you do not want me to use it.
