I went in and it was my first time going to an auto shop by myself. They were super nice and helpful and made sure I knew what was going on. The manager was super helpful and the assistant manager was amazing. I highly recommend. I’m definitely coming back.

Professional, quick, and a great value! My daughters car had a very slow leak that required air every few weeks, and she needed to drive back to college. She stopped by on a Sunday morning, to have them take a look at the leaky tire. After a quick inspection in the lot, she was told that she likely had a slow leak on the seal. The young man then told her that they were booked all morning, but if she could return after lunch then they would get it fixed. That worked well, and I drove with her separately so that we could run some errands while it was being fixed. Shortly later we stopped by and were told that indeed the seal was the issue and it had been addressed for a shockingly affordable price. I am impressed, and I love to see local businesses focus on local customers. Well need 4 new tires in 10,000 miles, and Mavis will be our stop.

This store has a great crew. Elizabeth at the front counter is delightful.The guys in back did a good job and I trust the work done and the products they sell.One of my better auto shop experiences. Thanks you guys.

Staff service was great not sure why the turkey leaving a bad review for I was there getting my brakes done and they did great job. Some people cant understand how everyone hurting for good employees and the guys here are doing their best and I appreciate that.

Got the runaround for 2 days about why they couldnt replace a brake line.1st visit, i was told the mechanics did not feel comfortable replacing the line as they have no experience in doing so. Fair enough.It was a Sunday, so i was told to come back when the GM was in the following Monday and hell take a look at it. Ok, no problem.I show up the following Monday, and the GM didnt feel comfortable replacing the line. Wouldnt even give me an estimate.Considering and brake is in their name and on their sign, they cant manage to simply replace a brake line confidently is the biggest show of incompetence Ive ever seen.Maybe its a good thing these 🤡 arent touching peoples brakes.At this point, i wouldnt let them fix my lawnmower.

Came in for a flat was moving outta state today and Mike the store manager got me in right away and even did the repair himself when the store was very short staffed. Manager Mike got me in to check out my vehicle to see what the clicking noise was and turn out the other tire shop I went to the guys had too many weights sticking inside my rim that it was hitting the caliper and the shop I did tires at didnt wanna fix it at all and said there was nothing wrong goo thing I stopped here and they looked and saw what happen and while the other guys were working mike took my keys and rebalanced the tires for me which was a surprise since he was store Manger but I saw that and saw hes a very good leader for his team helping out and Chris was great to talk to as well thanks Mike and team

Mike was awfully rude when I came in for my appointment. I do not even want to go into detail because he ruined my day. He sassed me and made me feel like I was inconveniencing him to be in the shop. I wrote my first ever bad review before picking up my car which Mike proceeded to confront me about when I got there, which I think is hilariously unprofessional. Him and his coworker grilled me (a young girl) and my mother about the review until I asked him to please just give me my car back and let me pay. This is why I am editing my review with his name. At least I know why it took 6 hours for a less than 1 hour job, it is because he is too busy reading Google reviews.

Horrible New Tire Replacement experience. From customer service, staff, car knowledge and sales. I made an online appointment 5 hours in advance and was 5 min early to that appointment today at 2pm. Mark or Matt or whoever in the blue shirt was the only one in the lobby ordering food on his phone when I walked in.. doesn’t greet me or a knowledge me until off the phone. I let it slide when I should have judged the place off this alone. The fat guy on the left had some snarky remarks to make like, “what did you schedule this appointment like in the last hour” to which I told him no I did so 5 hours ago. It took over 38 min to go over picking the tires out which I had already done online only wasting more of my time. He tried horribly to up sell me on every single thing to which I would deny and when I tried to take off the wiper blade he asks how much did I want it for! This is really bad sales skill or lack thereof and very horrible customer service interaction. I had to up and leave because at almost 45 min of being there after my appointment time I was still waiting. Ridiculous. Fat guy on the phone was also very unprofessional not only looking with a sloppy uniform of the three that were there working I saw he looked like the biggest slob and as owner would not want customers to see or interact with him because he held himself with such attitude and.. slop.

Service was great they got my tires done in a good manner with being short staffed and only having a few people to work which I was ok with waiting cause they were able to get it done when everyone else in area was booked and some customers walking in flet they needed to get there stuff done right there and then when they had other cars waiting. I appreciate the guys getting me done and everyone else needs to understand that the guys working rn are whats keeping cars running and going so give them some slack and give them alit extra time cause they need it. Ive gone to this location a couple of times, and each time its been quick, easy, and they work with you on cost if it seems a little high. If I ever have a tire issue they are usually the first place that comes to mind.

Was greeted by Chris with a very friendly attitude explained the process for what I was there for gave a very good estimate on the time it would take offered a comfortable atmosphere as I waited and kept me posted on the progress when he was adding all the charges he offered a great extra warranty for a road hazard at an excellent price of course I had to jump on that offer immediately got exactly what I wanted for about 40% less send what my dealer had asked if you need tires I highly recommend them

They beat a competitor quote on my tires by over $200.00, got the tires in earlier than expected, and moved my appointment at short notice to get the work done quickly and conveniently. The shop manager, Mike, was awesome and allowed me access to the shop while my truck was on the lift. I will absolutely be using them for my future tire purchases.

I have had a pleasant experience today with Mavis Tires. My Windshield wipers were not working as it was beginning to snow. I stopped in and asked for help. Mike the manager of this shop, was so professional and assisted in getting me new blades and was so very kind. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs work done on thier vehicle.

Mike was quick to the point and very accommodating to my grandparents vehicle. They even checked the tires after installing their battery! Everyone was very knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend and we will be coming back for everything!

Had a somewhat pleasant experience. Mike was very pleasant to work with and was very helpful. I would consider recommending Mavis to my friends and family, however, when I first walked in the door I noticed that the gentleman at the front counter was sleeping. I was almost concerned that it was going to be an example of the rest of my service and had thought about walking out. I feel like it is just a tad bit unprofessional to be sleeping while working. Thankfully, the rest of my experience was pleasant. I would recommend that this issue be corrected if you wish to keep your customers happy and keep business when they walk in the door. I will try again in the future and see what changes.

Mike and his team were able to get tires on my car in a size not many had to fit my truck and was done in a good time frame that worked around my schedule and work thanks Mike and his team.

Ordered a set of tires on the company website and scheduled appt for the install. Show up at install date/time just to be told my tires havent arrived yet. Ask when the shipment is expected to arrive that day, they have no idea.So we reschedule the install for the following day, I call in the morning to ensure the tires showed up. No tires. Am told the tires are either on back order or discontinued, they are not sure which. So they wasted my time by allowing me to buy tires that cant be sourced and never bothered to call to tell me they didnt show up in time for my appointment and oh yeah by the way, they are never going to show up.I dont suffer my time being wasted and poor/no communication.

I called NTB in a panic when our vehicle’s tire stem was quickly releasing air. I spoke with Tom and he was able to get us serviced immediately. Thank you to Tom and Staff for an excellent service experience! They even took the time to explain to us what had happened, what the cause could have been and what to check for in the future.

Did the study, visited four tire suppliers, did the math. Decided on Mavis/NTB due to Mike!! Excellent service. Left very confident!! Besides new tires, I added alignment and new brakes at very competitive $$$ parts and labor!!!

Staff was friendly and helpful. I purchased 4 replacement tires & setup an appointment online five days before service, as the tires had to be ordered. Everything worked the way it should. Tires were there when I arrived. I was in & out in about an hour. With a $200 rebate on my 4 tires, they were hands down the best deal that I found.

Wow...I cannot thank the 3 wise men from MAVIS Tire (formerly NTB) who rescued me tonight. Tom, Nick and Chris were wrapping up a long, hot day when I called, literally minutes before their closing time. I was in a panic that my tire light just flashed on and I had a long trip back home. They reassured me that they would be there and true to their word, were waiting for me. Within a matter of minutes, they had me on my way. In this challenging time, it is so nice to not only receive excellent, professional work, but moreso the graciousness to protect a citizen in need. Mavis Tire and Brakes saved the day they changed my break pads and rotors on my 2017 Honda Civic. They were fast very well priced on the labor cost and I provided my own parts. Definitely will come back in future for any oh ooo suprises that pop up. Thanks Great job guys!

I have purchased tires in years gone by from this place. I went today because I had an add air to tire indicator light and wanted to have them check for a nail in the tire. They checked all four tires and found the need to even out the air in a couple of the tires. No nail was found and everything checked out. So along with friendly and professional customer service, they didnt charge me a cent for the diagnostic!!! Thank you NTB Crystal Lake, IL!!!
