I had a band repair on one watch and a new battery put into another in just a few minutes while I waited. The staff member was friendly, positive, and took good care of details. Thank you!

When I consulted for two separate custom pieces, they went horribly wrong. First, the gal measured the fine gemstone needed WRONG. Then the setting I was told would work fine came back completely different,, with no call beforehand.. I showed up on pickup day and it was not as expected. Also, the prongs were set so badly that they were catching on clothing, sheets, my hair and were not hugging the gems they were supposed to be set flush with.A separate necklace order, custom made with consultation... was a nightmare in so many ways. And they did not return 6.5inches of platinum chain or call me when I specifically showed concern that I did not give permission for them to dispose of it. I have yet to year back from them.Nightmare.

We’ve always had good experiences: purchasing my engagement ring, jewelry repair, replacing stones in family jewelry. Diana worked with me to create the perfect Mother’s jewelry for my mom and MIL. She was patient, knowledgeable, and so kind. She helped me compare stones, gold colors, styles all while keeping the price within my budget. I left the store feeling completely ecstatic that she made me dreams come to life and made the process so absolutely enjoyable!

They not only have beautiful pieces, but help get your pieces back to looking like new. They recently sized by making smaller my wedding set. They came back looking like new, and they are 40 years old.

Had them send my watch out to be fixed after another jeweler in Crystal Lake had two chances to do the job right and couldnt or just didnt care. THE WATCH IS GREAT NOW!!!!! ALSO I HAVE FOUND SOME GREAT JEWELRY TO BUY.

Dalzell customer service was great brought a watch and bracelet in for repairs. I was assisted by Diana who was very helpful she changed the watch battery while I waited as well as inspected the bracelet and gave me an estimate for repairs which includes replacing a stone with cleaning. VERY HELPFUL! definitely will be back.

They have a ring cutter, which was not an option in my case (sometimes works on titanium, will not work on tungsten-carbide). They have staff that is more valuable than the tools if you end up in a jam like me.If you give them your business, know that you are supporting an operation that provides service far beyond what youd find at a chain.

Best customer service ever! Brought my watch in to get a new strap. Eric helped pick out a nice band and ordered. It was discontinued and he helped to choose another band and that was discontinued as well. He helped a third time to select a style and color over the phone and it was beautiful. They spent quite a bit of time and and really gave outstanding customer service for such a modest purchase. This is why they are the BEST in the area, hands down.

I needed my wedding rings soldered. They were so friendly and fast, in fact they were done in just under two hours. When I picked them up they looked brand new. Everyone was so friendly and I was invited to, come back anytime to have my rings cleaned and my diamonds checked. :)

Everyone is always so helpful and professional my only concern is I picked up $40k worth of jewelry and neither workers asked for my receipt or a drivers license. I just gave them my name and the first clerk brought me out two watches the second clerk brought me out two diamond rings in repair and gave them to me with no proof of who I was. A little scary. This was my third purchase from Dalzell Jewelers in the last three months. The first gift was for Valentine’s Day, a tennis bracelet. The second gift was a birthday gift, a hard- to- find charm matched with a very fine white-gold 18” necklace. The third gift was a limited-edition Blue Angeles Citizen Watch. Every time I was there, they were extremely friendly and professional as they helped me find the perfect gift for those three occasions. I have needed my heirloom engagement ring resized for years but I was hesitant to take it in because I didnt know the process. Diana spent time with me to explain how everything works and was careful and detailed in her inspection of the ring and its stones. Disappointing experience. I took my silver ID bracelet in to have the clasp replaced. I expressed the importance that the new clasp be strong and lay flat along with the rest of the links. After receiving the call that it was done I returned only to have Tim break the new clasp while demonstrating it to me. I picked out a sturdier style clasp (first one was his pick) and left my bracelet to be fixed again. After a period of time I called the store to be told Oh yeah, its ready. I arrived to find the wrong clasp had both been ordered and was attached so it twisted the rest of the bracelet. I told them to remove that clasp and give me the bracelet back. I wont be returning for strike 3.

Very disappointed. My daughter purchased a ring and a hour later the stone piped out. Next day took the ring in and they were to fix it. A week later never heard from them, I called to see about the ring. And they forgot about it and said they will “get to it today”. Very poor service!
