Nice guy working. Fair pricing. Worth the trip

Stopped by with my kids to purchase some coins. Had visited store before and made other purchase from an older man who was excellent providing guidance to the next generation of collectors. Went in today and some younger man asked us to wait outside as their were too many people inside, himself and 2 other people non masked, but allows another person inside caring a box. This store is a filthy hole in the wall, to begin with but making a customer with kids wait outside. In previous visits the story had plenty of people with kids. Do urself a favor go the Hertals coins down the street or PGS Coins in Palatine. Both understand how to treat customers.

Bought silver coins (walking liberty), I watch the prices. Fair seller. I call ahead of time to check inventory. I’m happy with my purchase and will definitely buy again.

I had a good experience shopping at Erichs coin shop.

I came by yesterday to purchase some silver bullion bars. The store is very small and has virtually no inventory. The man behind the counter gave me a very weird vibe. I am a strong independent woman but even I felt uncomfortable here. I personally will not be coming back.

He will pay you for silver weight and take advantage of you if you dont know what yoiure doing. Coin shop in mchenry is much cooler

This place is a joke. Erich is so rude and lowballs everything. I came in to sell gold and some coins. The coins were graded and he offered me 1/20th of the price. The gold was so much lower than another shop. STAY AWAY! HE WILL RIP YOU OFF!!

Dont bother coming here if you are looking to sell stamps newer than 1976. I just got offered 40% of their face value. Sounds kinda fishy since the sign outside insists on cash deals.

I had a lot of gold jewelry I needed to sell because I havent worn it for many years and needed the extra money. I went to 7 different cash for golds to get prices checked out. This place was by far the lowest. I dont know how such a dishonest store is still in business.
