My wife and I drove a little over an hour to take a look around and see if anything struck our fancy. We follow them on Facebook and love what they have. However, I must say that we were very disappointed in the high prices for wood. I know we are in a pandemic but the prices are listed as “per linear foot” which is ridiculous expensive. We have a place called Urban Wood Lab right in Racine, WI that is far more reasonable for essentially the same type of slabs. I will say this though they had some pretty cool odds and ends types of things that you can tell were pulled straight from the barns.

We drove and hour and a half to come here. It was well worth it!! We bought a hand hewn beam for our fire place mantle and a slap of wood for a desk. They had an outstanding selection of antique and reclaimed items from barns and other items. Paul was an absolute gentleman! So patient, knowledgeable & we arrived an hour before close and he made us feel so free to take our time.. I highly recommend this business and it’s perfect for the designer or anyone looking for those special items to bring out that AUTHENTIC farm house feel.

If your looking for a place to inspire your creativity this is the place! If your not crafty no problem, they have incredible builders to help make your vision a reality!Not just reclaimed lumber, they have tons reclaimed treasures such as whiskey and wine barrels, stable doors, cabinet hardware, crates, doors, windows,ans, tools, and so much more!The prices are very reasonable and as an added bonus knowing you bought something with some history behind it is priceless!The staff is top shelf and the owner is so always willing to chat and a true professional! The owner seems to know the history about almost every piece. Check it out, you will not be disappointed!

Didnt buy anything but will revisit again. Made a quick stop and was amazed to see the collection of items they have in this place. I had been looking for whiskey Barrels for a while and they have the best collection. Must check out if you like Barn items or if you are into DIY projects

Just found out about this place tonight. Immediately went over there and were nothing but blown away. The smell is amazing. The vast array of available product is even more amazing.Cant wait to replace our Mantle with a piece from them and have it custom clear finished and a few other things done. This is going to be a regular trip for me now that I know its there. I could probably spend an entire day walking around looking at all the great stuff to use to make things out of.Let me wrap this up by saying that the folks complaining that the prices are too high, are just simply individuals that have an absurdly unrealistic expectation of what it is that they should pay for a product of this nature. Any lumber yard can sell you run of the mill wood for cheap, but thats not why you come to a place like this. You come here because each and every piece has a history, has character, and has a story. You cant just get that anywhere. I priced them out for what it was I wanted to be done and they were actually extremely fair priced. Especially given how trendy the product is in todays market.

I couldnt be happier with my experience with All American Reclaim. I had a fall project of redoing my fireplace and the centerpiece of any fireplace is of course is the mantel. I went in pretty green to what to expect or look for and the team was amazing form the star. From looking and selecting the right wooden beam to the craftsmanship in cutting and brushing it to the amazing final piece was beyond my expectations. This beam was an extremely important piece to our fireplace overhaul and my family could be prouder of it!Thank you All American Reclaim Team!

Bad customer service. We drove to this place from Wisconsin on Saturday to choose a beam for our new house. Paul helped us choose a beam and he was great.However, we had to pay 175.00 for delivery. The delivery manager said 11/11/20 would be no problem because they had few deliveries to wisconsin. He also said he would call me on Monday to confirm delivery, which he did not. On wednesday evening I sent a message asking what was going on. Thursday morning I get an email saying it was sent via fed exWe paid for delivery not fed ex. If I had not sent the inquiry I would not have known it was being shipped. This is material because we are not in the house yet, so whenever it gets delivered someone may or may not be there. We paid a lot of extra for delivery.Their communication is poor at best and it seems as though they make up the price for services as they go along. I would not reccomend this place if you need a beam delivered for your fireplace.

Cant beat the customer service that you get here. Building a custom shuffleboard table and both Andy and Mike spent a ton of time with me helping me pick out the right board, as well the epoxy. Messed up my first go around so went back and they spent even more time helping explain and walk me through the process of how to do it properly. Stand up crew! Also anyone giving bad reviews due to high prices, simply doesn’t know what they are buying.

I’ve been shopping at All American Reclaim for years and decided that I would give them a nod to celebrate their new location! If you are interested in reclaimed wood (and other items), woodworking, or farmhouse and industrial style, All American Reclaim has a treasure trove of things you should see. A constantly changing inventory combined with an extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff make for a great shopping experience!!

All American Reclaim is amazing. I have made coat racks, candle holders, decorations, shelves, picture frames, small tables, etc with wood and supplies from All American Reclaim. The new location is organized and stocked with tons of wood. The staff is always willing to help & share tips on wood working projects.

Love this place! There is so much to look at and the possibilities are unlimited! Each time you go there is something different so if you dont see something that day, keep going! I purchased a 4 pieces of reclaimed oak for shelves. Once I get them made I will post the before and after. My son bought a piece of flooring from a railroad car and its going become a coffee table.The staff there are so friendly and helpful! Cant wait to see what I find next!!

Dont waste your time here. They boast a selection of slabs, while only having a handful poorly worked at outrageous prices. Do yourself a favor and head to kettle moraine instead.

I came in here looking for a piece of wood for a coat rack. I was asked by no less than 3 people if I needed help, before finally deciding on a nice piece of mahogany. After selecting the piece the salesman gave me some tips on how to finish it. I finished the piece and it looks great! I will be back soon for material for a table, thanks!

Your prices are still high. I can find everything you have there for cheaper price just being resourceful. But thanks for the response.

Prices are fair on some stuff and high on others but great all around place highly recommend going in and looking at there awesome inventory, seeing that there still moving in. Loved it

I mostly use 8x8 beams and 2x10 lumber, and these are 5 times cheaper at the Rebuilding Exchange downtown, and 3 times cheaper at the ReUse Depot Im Maywood. Im sure they have the same expenses as you, maybe higher due to their locations.Your stuff might be well priced for the weekend warrior who buys a piece of wood once a year, but I cant help but think youll sell a lot more if you target people like me.

I cant believe this place has been here for a couple of years and I havent discovered them yet!! From the outside it may look like a just a store, but once inside you are treated to a true shopping experience! They have everything from gift items to some of the more unique, character filled pieces of wood and other treasures! Honestly, you could shop and go through things for hours. Their staff is incredibly helpful, knowledgable and friendly. Youve got to check this place out!

Awesome place to shop for old stuff

I want to like this place so much but just cannot. Their prices are ridiculous. I have purchased from them about 3 years go and they had much more fair pricing. They have a lot of wood there but a lot of it is pretty picked over. They have some gems there but at $7.50 a board foot its not worth it.

I was looking for 50 board feet of mixed 4, 6, and 8. Inventory was very low, but beyond that, they were asking high end retail prices. I make my products for resale and need wholesale prices. These guy are way out of line for me.

Theres a lot of stuff in here and lots of boards to chose from but the prices are way too high for someone who wants to do a few projects. At the end of the day, old wood with a little character shouldnt cost more than new wood

Love the store. Has many different kinds of woods. I do think it is a little expensive but in my opinion its worth it

Nothing has a price on it. They have great stock but no one is on the floor to ask what something costs. I could hear saws in the back room and guys joking around but no one offered to help even when they came out to get pieces of wood for what ever they were working on. The wood is sorted so it shouldnt be hard to put a sign out for how much something costs per linear/ board foot like at ReStore and the Re-use depot. I saw one lady asking about some slabs and the guy had to run back and forth to check price multiple times, what a waste of time. I wasnt impressed with the service, it wasnt until I was almost out the door that someone asked if I had questions. I left 2 stars only because of the stock they have. As far as service or ease of shopping this place doesnt compare to other reclaim material places in the Chicago area.
