This place was really good until Philip stole the company away from H.C. He is a crook and has tried to steal my money. I brought an item in for warranty work and decided upon himself to do non-warranty work with out calling me first. Went to pick un my item and had this huge bill. Johnny has always been honest with me and I feel bad for him and the other employees there. I will never go back. Too bad I can not leave zero stars.

I am glad I did not read reviews first. I purchased a new cub cadet in spring of this year. I asked Johnny a lot of questions, he answered them all and correctly.I had already done my homework on what I wanted. I left to go look elsewhere hoping for a lower price instead I went straight to the bank. I came back and purchased from 157 hardware. I was treated with respect and not like a dumb female. I love these guys and will be going back.

The worst customer service ive ever had to deal with in my life. I was treated in a rude manner and the old heavy set guy is the worst.

I purchased several items there for 3 years☝️I needed a $40 drive belt for my Cub cadet lawnmower which they didn’t have in stock 😒and instead of just ordering it for me I had to make a 35 minute roundtrip drive there and pay for it first 😐 need to trust faithful customers. Bad business!

Use to be a good place but the mower repair person is one of the rudest people I have ran into in awhile. I reckon the hardware store is alright as you can help yourself but if you are looking for lawn equipment I would suggest going somewhere else because you sure wont get it serviced here.

Very friendly service

The folks working the hardware section are great if youre looking for pipe fittings, paint supplies that sort of thing. The guy handling the small engine department is awful. Youll be well served for general hardware supplies. For all your mower parts, my advice is look elsewhere.

Lazy people, especially the one they call Bear, good eater, lousy for helping get the parts you need. Expects customer to provide part numbers, he cannot look them up on system. STAY AWAY.

Bad business practices... instead of doing what the customer asks for, they will go far beyond the agreed scope of work and replace many items you didnt ask for causing an outrageous and unexpected bill to pay.... they dont call the customer for approval, they just replace items without consulting with you first....Buyer beware

The older gentleman, I think he was the owner was rude and unhelpful. The young lady at the counter that help me was excellent.

Came in trying to find an ignition switch for my zero turn and the tech was so lazy he wouldnt even compare it to their inventory to see if he could match it.

Not very pleased at all. When we dripped the lawnmower off, told them not to put a lot of money into it, the mechanic promised he wouldnt spend a lot on it. 2 weeks later went to pick it up and found out that they had bought a whole lawnmower just to put a new front end on ours. 700 dollars to fix a 50 dollar lawnmower. Never a call to us to approve that kind of fix. We could have bought a brand new one for that price.Seems as though they take advantage of elderly people.Wish I could choose negative stars.
