On Monday Sept. 30, I visited the Audibel office in Cullman Alabama for my annual hearing test. The test was extremely thorough, my hearing aids were expertly reprogrammed, with even an improved type of earpiece fitted, and I could not be happier with the results. My thanks to the two audiologists, Truda and Stephanie, for their focus and professionalism.

There was no waiting . My appointment was at 8:30 and I was seen at 8:30. Everyone treated me with kindness and respect and answered all questions. They were Honest and caring. Ive never rated anyone 5 stars but they took care of my hearing problem with correct hearing aids at an excellent cost.

I had lost an earpiece to one of my hearing aids. Your folks took both of my aids, cleaned them up and replaced both earpieces… as a courtesy. They simply asked me to return if I needed anything.

The service I received was excellent! The technician is very knowledgeable, friendly, and cares about her clients. From the very first time we met, it seemed like we had known her for a very long time. She definitely makes people feel comfortable. Trudy is a very good hearing specialist. Always friendly and helpful. Listens to you and very patient.

I went in because my left hearing aid was only working when it wanted to so I knew they both needed cleaning. While I was there I found out that my right signal was broke therefore they couldnt give me any more wire (because my right hearing aid just falls out of my ear). In order to get more wire I would have to buy a whole new signal part at $199.00 plus tax. This is very hard on someone on a fixed income. Thats almost as much as I paid for a brand new hearing aid. I know they are expensive but I feel there should be discounts for those 60 and older.

Wonderful audiologist! She is overworked and understaffed but always takes excellent care of her patients.

We had canceled a previous app because of the pandemic and we had gotten our 2 vaccine shots and when they called again we decided we would go since Charles was having a few problems with his hearing aids. We have to travel about 25 miles to get to Cullman so it was a little of a sacrifice to drive there just for that app but we thought it would be worth it. We only went into waiting area and Trudy came and got his hearing aids and I suppose she cleaned them. I told her he was having trouble distinguishing words. He could hear sound but not words clearly and she said well next time he comes we will do a hearing test and his next app is in 3 months. We probably wasnt in there over 5 min and that was it. It felt she rushed us through and didnt address his problem.

I’m not a person who write reviews, but I have received such great service from Truda Whitaker and The Hearing Center staff that I thought I would take a few minutes to share. Let me start by saying if you have hearing difficulties, The Hearing Center is the place to come. They work with you to help determine your level of hearing loss with a free hearing test and consultation helping to get you the best equipment for the best possible price. Keep in mind quality hearing aids are expensive. They have a 30-day trial period for your purchase to make sure that your investment is going to be what you need and not something that you’re stuck with. You do have to set up credit financing; but if it doesn’t work out, you can be refunded the money that has been invested and you’re not out any money. The Hearing Center is the only place that I’ve been that allows a trial period for a purchase like this. You are not just a number or a dollar sign to them. Truda goes above and beyond in customer service and cares for you as a person and your individual hearing needs. The entire staff is very friendly and professional making you feel like part of a family instead of just a patient. Truda takes the time to go over any concerns or issues you might have before and after the purchase of your hearing aids. Remember this if they’re running a little late for your appointment. You appreciate their care and the time spent with you, and they do this for each patient. They also do cleaning and servicing of your hearing aids every three to six months to help maintain optimal performance of your investment as well as an annual hearing test at no extra cost to you. What a difference it makes being able to hear sounds more clearly again and knowing that you have someone you can trust to help you through this journey. I would definitely recommend them.

My appointment was at 2:30. Here I sit at 3:08 with nary a doctor in sight. I am here to pick up my hearing aids. They took my credit card already or I would just leave and they can keep their hearing aids. Im livid

My husband went here to try there hearing aids FREE for 30 days. He had to fill out a credit application that he didnt feel comfortable doing but at 76 years old he did. He had them 2 weeks when he received a bill from Wells Fargo for the 1st payment. He took them back and they made him come back a few days later because they couldnt refund his money. When he went back they talked him into keeping them another 2 weeks and they would fix the billing. He went last Thursday and had to pay 2 payments plus a $27.00 late fee. I would NOT recommend this place because they took advantage of my husband that has several health problems. I still work and could not go with him. He trusted what they told him. Get everything in writing about your FREE trail and that they will take care of your billing. My husband did not get this and on a piece of paper there company name or phone number is not there. I had to track them down on the phone number that they called him on. So sad how people use the elderly.

If you need a hearing aid they help you with a way it wont be so expensive
