Great coffee shop! Ordered a caramel latte and a heath bar latte with a oatmeal cream pie for my one year old. It was a hit! Delicious coffee and amazing service. Wish this little gem was in our hometown. Hope to visit again soon!

Awesome coffee house... homey atmosphere, and a HUGE variety of flavors to add to your drinks! A bit pricey and it feels a bit messy to us minimalists... but overall, the theme and location is wonderful...(And yes, their pumpkin spice frappuccino is amazing!)

I truly have loved this coffee shop for the atmosphere and friendly staff. The shop itself is adorable! I’ve had good experiences with ordering lattes. However, yesterday, a friend and I came in to grab some coffee. I ordered a vanilla iced coffee and asked for it to not be too sweet. Unfortunately, after tasting it, it truly tasted like sugar watered down 3 day old coffee. At first I thought it was because it had too much sweetener but then the barista poured some out and added more coffee-still it tasted like 3 day old watered down coffee but I didn’t want to complain again. I ended up dumping the whole thing later. My friend ordered a latte that came out extremely salty and sweet-over the top. I talked the coffee shop up to my friend before hand as I truly loved my past experiences, but this time was a disappointment. I’m not sure what went wrong. The girls working were very friendly and accommodating…I just ended up being disappointed with the drinks themselves even after modification. Hoping it was just a fluke!

Iced coffee tastes like its lacking coffee. Ill change my review if I decide to try again and receive a better product.

Ravens Nest has good coffee as well as tasty Kombucha! They provide a great atmosphere in which to work or to meet up with friends.

Great brunch spot! Its a small operation which adds to is appeal and charm. They can get backed up when a large indecisive group arrives. (Sorry, We will know what to order next time!) We will definitely order the smoked salmon and avocado toast. Two in our group ordered it and I think the remaining ppl wanted to change their order. It was delicious! I ordered the chicken salad which was also great! I wish it was plated on a ceramic plate instead of a paper plate, but it was still delicious!

Such a cute place. Absolutely in love with that girl Kelso that works there. She is always so nice and she makes the BEST drinks for me when I say to surprise me. Love her. Love the place. 10/10 would recommend.

This is a cute place with nice people and good drinks. The only reason I am giving it 3 starts is that I ordered a smores iced coffee in it and it tasted more like sugar milk than coffee. Will remember next time to ask for less sweet coffee.

We came here for breakfast recently. It is a charming spot so far as decor and vibe are concerned, but the quality of the food leaves MUCH to be desired. I ordered a slice of the lavender vanilla loaf and discovered upon the first bite that it was quite obviously stale. My complaint was more or less dismissed and no attempt to rectify the situation was then made; I was not even offered an alternative pastry. In fact, I was told “that’s how it’s supposed to be.”We also ordered the avocado toast on sourdough. What a disappointment! In my opinion, your money would be better spent at the 18 Grams café down the street. They’re avocado toast is similarly priced, but there is a world of difference between the two.In the end, we were offered a discount for a future visit, but enduring another experience like this one wouldn’t be worth the $10 off they offered.

I had a large coffee and biscotti, husband had kombucha and a GF muffin. The drinks were good, but the sweets were excellent!

#AMAZING! Not sure how Ive slept on this place for so long. But not anymore! This will be my new goto place for all things coffee in Culpeper. When you drink your coffee black the coffee really has to be superb on its own and at Ravens Nest it is just that! The big chain places (you know the ones I mean) cant even come close and I drink a lot of coffee. I will definitely be back time after time, next time I plan to try some of their food offerings as well. If theyre anything like the coffee Im sure theyll be amazing as well. My wife also loved her drink, she takes hers a little more dressed up than I do but said it was amazing. Thank you and see you again soon!

I loved the atmosphere of this place! My iced latte was delicious and I was thrilled to find my ice cubes were in fact frozen coffee cubes! I tried the apricot poptart, which did not disappoint. Definitely recommend!

We have been to Ravens Nest Coffee five or six times now, and no idea how anyone could rate their coffee offerings under 5 stars based on our experiences there.We have had coffee, mocha, chai latte and soem of their desserts... and the products have been great! Coffee is smooth and rich. Chai is tasty. Mocahas (regular and vanilla, always with whole milk) have been among the best we have ever had as they have a true espresso undertone but without bitterness.Staff is very friendly and turn orders around quickly. Price is excellent, compared to the big national chains. The setting in this location is great too, just right for a 30 minutes break to talk with friends or catch up on the news.Excellent products. Nice, efficient, friendly;y staff. great location.

It is a good place for coffee with lap tops..ha, ha. I was disappointed in how a customer was treated who came in, bought coffee, and then told she had to sit outside in the 30+ degree temperature because (as I saw it) she wasnt their type of clientele... Was not because the place was crowded...I will not return.

Stopped for a quick coffee to go and was pleasantly surprised with all this cafe had to offer. The quiche was fresh and delicious, as was my specialty cappuccino. Would highly recommend and will be sure to stop back our next time through town.

A cozy coffee shop in downtown Culpeper, they serve good coffee and tasty treats. Starting the morning with a nice lox on an everything bagel seems standard. Try their pistachio biscuit - an interesting mix of the savory pistachio with a slight layer of glaze to give it some sweetness. Even better with the coffee! I settled for a nice glass bottle of coke, which you dont find in many places.

Food and coffee were absolutely delicious. Fast, extra friendly service. We will be back.

Ravens Nest is under new management and they have transformed it into quite a spectacular shop. The staff is super friendly and very well versed. The atmosphere is nice and inviting. The coffee is excellent. The desserts are absolutely divine. I recommend the Banana Nut Bread warmed...very good. I have to say the revamp of the shop has truly made it a step above Starbucks genre of coffee shops and this one sets itself apart in atmosphere and personal touch

Had just the drinks we were craving. Maple and a pumpkin spice, made the rainy ride home warm and cozy.

Ive been coming in every Wednesday morning since moving out of state about two months ago. This is a great place to settle in and get to work, read a book, or just relax. The food and drinks are excellent, and the owner knows my order! Super pleasant staff, Im so happy to have found my place here in this brand new state!

First time visiting no one even acknowledged I was even standing there. Second try got a croissant, it was good tasted home made, third time ordered a croissant again, it was placed in a plastic bag while everyone else ordering their to go items, they were placed in a nice to go box, had to ask for a box butter and a knife. Got to work and had to return it for a refund, it tasted stale and dry, and like it was brought from a place that cheaply mass produced breads. Not worth the hype and the cost. And definitely not a place where you are made to feel welcome and your dollars are respected.

Very nice coffeehouse with a friendly community vibe that welcomes hipsters as well as middle-aged folk. Large selection of coffees, smoothies, and bakery items from what we could read on the chalkboard. Beautiful antique interior of their building with exposed brick walls, wood floors, high ceilings and pressed tin ceiling.

This is one of my favorite stops in Culpeper! The coffee is good, although nothing super spectacular. They always have lots of food options, though, which is really nice! There is quite a bit of comfortable seating & even a kids’ play area in the back, which is fantastic! We always stop in when we’re browsing the shops on Davis St. The staff is exceptionally warm and friendly, which makes the experience wonderful every time! We live about an hour away, but Raven’s Nest is always on the list when we come into town!

The lattes we had were very delicious and well-made. The staff was also very friendly and the coffee shop has a nice atmosphere to it. I would recommend stopping here for some nice coffee and baked items. I believe they also make cafe foods but we didnt have any of those this time.

Great location, solid atmosphere and a nice variety of baked goods all should add up to a great coffee shop. That being said I’ve been a little disappointed in the quality of the coffee I’ve gotten there on my recent visits. The blended offerings have been lacking in flavor and I have not seen single origin options when I’ve visited. I will definitely be back again if nothing else then to avoid the coffee chains and to enjoy the ambiance and the eats.

Went in for Coffee, ended up taking a walk up stairs and oh boy- there was a chef upstairs getting it in preparing for the Sunday Brunch! All I can say is yummy! I even got to taste test! Jessica Hall is awesome! Shes an artist and a chef probably more. I could care less about pricing when its good service, good food and wonderful people. I felt completely at home! I ate sausage and gravy with biscuits with pouched egg, BLT salad, cucumber salad, fruit salad, and wow! Than you! I will be returning. Coffee was good too.

Best place in town for morning drink basics and specialty coffee and tea. The cafe itself is funky and inviting, welcoming and cool. The fresh pastries are always varied and look delicious and the staff treats everybody like a regular.

This past Sunday I ordered some bloody Marys to go and coffee to go and was happy with the quality of service and drinks! I recommend grabbing an option to go and enjoying onsite options in the future.

What a wonderful find! It was quite by accident as we were just traveling through the area and needed coffee, but it was perfect. Incredible atmosphere with chic antique look, indoor seating in old church pew complete with pad! Coffee variety is excellent, full service barista, even had sugar free variety. They also have wonderful baked goods, locally made and delicious. Will definitely go again. We lived it so much we plan to make a trip there to explore the historic city of Culpepper.

I have been there three times now and love it. Staff has been very friendly, the iced coffee is great, there are lots of delicious flavor shot choices and the pastry items Ive tried have been amazing. A bit expensive but worth every penny. I have also enjoyed that the outdoor seating is on the shaded side of the street in the afternoon.

Recently changed owners and I love the updates theyve been making! They have their original products but are changing their hours, logo, and adding menu items to provide even more for their customers! Everything they have is amazing but Im OBSESSED with the vegan poptarts.

Even with new coffee shops opening up in town, this is still hands down the better coffee shop. Its a combination of the seating, atmosphere, great coffee, and fair pricing that makes this place stand out above the rest.If you like Bagels and smoked salmon, then this place has a very unique and tasty option!

Rude customer service on more than one occasion. No, scones are NOT meant to be doughey and under cooked inside. I do not want the wrong drink remade in the same used cup.
