The staff is friendly and helpful here, and I enjoy the shopping experience because they are organized and have great big windows. The food bar is pretty good and reasonably priced. The store prices are certainly on the higher side and the membership program is not great in my opinion. I wish they offered options to volunteer for a discount, because it would be a fun way to get involved in your community.

Really great food, cool new stuff, vegan alternatives, organic everything. All the stuff here is delicious, especially the Alexandre family farms A2 milk, Id die for that stuff. However, its really expensive. I would honestly give this place three stars based on value but the quality of ingredients bumps it up. I always leave here with the feeling of having spend a huge amount of money on half as many groceries. I am a cheese fiend tho so your mileage may vary but almost everything in the store is at least 20% more expensive than the next organic co-op even.

I have been coming to the Coop for the last 20 years. I have not joined, their membership, to get extra discounts, but I still love going everyday to grab a fresh wellness shot and grab some Lunch or Dinner. This place reminds me of the original intimate Wild Oats on 15th and Montana before it got purchase by Whole Paycheck(Foods), in the sense that it is very boutique and local. I want to give a special shout out to 3 Superstar employees. Michel, who works the Juice Bar, is such a great compassionate employee with amazing efficiency, expertise and always smiling and in a good mood, which makes coming into the store more enjoyable.Roger, is also an incredible high energy, all round great team member who makes the clients feel welcome and his knowledge of health and what is good for you is second to none. He is also very honest with a lot of integrity, and wont let you walk away with any item unless he can personally vouch for it. The store is lucky to have him.Lastly, Eric, I have known for years, and we are both huge Rams fans long before they moved back to LA. E, as I call him, has a charismatic personality and good Vibe essence that always makes you want to buy more items, since he has vast experience and knowledge of the entire inventory in the store. He is a great hard worker and goes out of his way to make sure you get what you need. The store is operating very intelligently and cautiously, and has been extremely proactive and safe during this Covid Pandemic., on behalf of its customers. Lets hope this unique, local landmark, sticks around for years to come, so we can all continue to enjoy, our favorite groceries, food, juices, and Superstar staff employees.Bravo, to the team, and 5 stars all around.

Had heard of this little gem from three friends and counting. Peeps whose culinary and dietary choices are similar to mine (we choose to eat as monks).Housesitting nearby, I took a moment to restock my clients fridge and pantry. Soooooo very worthy of its reputation - items at a discount (Dr Bronners big bottle of soap: 8.99!??? ) and clean and interesting plethora of healthy treats. Think organic and tasty at a value. And you buy into a healthy system, as a share holder slowly slowly reemerging from The Rona. Thank you, Co-Op & Co

Was excited to have this built in our area. Went in to get pastries from the bakery area, hoping was like Whole Foods. The prices are as high as Whole Foods but less of a selection of things I need. There is no bakery, so dont expect an assortment. I also wanted nice cheeses but the selection is rather small. The organic produce is a small selection as well as produce in general. Couldnt find any grapes. The place is very clean. Its a nice option if they happen to have what youre looking for.

Everything here is organic. The food is made fresh daily. You get to choose and put together your own meal; your choice of plate or takeaway box. Interesting concept...nice layout and lights...selection is not that large as it looks like they focus on a particular client, modern thinking, and that it is comfortable spending good money in some kind of foods.for me it was kind of limited and expensive as I dont buy the organic hype, neither the other NO this NO that...

Review №71

This place is really nice, the organic produce is wonderful and the range of products and brands in this store is impressive! Theres a bulk section, even for spices, which is fabulous. The selection of local and organic dairy options was also surprising. I love the selection of healthy food options in the snack aisles as well. If youre vegan or have a gluten free diet, this place will be heaven. Not that I am either of those. However there is one big issue for me.I was really hoping to see more local fresh meats and heritage meats, considering how impressive some of the meat counters at the Grove farmers market are, or Gelsons or Whole Foods. Quality and selection of meat is a big draw for me, in fact, it will primarily dictate where I shop, since its usually the most expensive thing in my list, and its quality is something I like to invest in.Anyhow, overall it was a nice experience and I will probably return, depending on my needs. The atmosphere was nice.

Super expensive. BUT very knowledgeable staff who take great pride in their products. Fun little community events all the time. Love the Thursday night wine tastings and five dollar dinner deals! They also have a good happy hour deal, but beware that it is canned beer if you’re someone who only drinks draught when you’re out.The juice and coffee bar is about the same price as anywhere else, but the salad bar and many other products will make your jaw drop once you get to the register.Again, SUPER friendly SUPER knowledgeable staff. Great place for finding all organic produce. Better than Whole Foods. One pro for Whole Foods is they have more stores so you dont have to travel as far to shop. The Coop in Santa Monica has a very small parking lot. Cool place to go to. Its clean, friendly guys behind the scene, the workers, who make it pretty chill to shop there. I see frequently people hanging out in there seated areas inside and outside.
