Whether it is a routine oil change, or a new battery or other routine repairs, or for anything that happens out of the blue, Al and his crew are there for you.Al is a sharp troubleshooter, his diagnosis is always perfect. Service is top notch and prices are competitive and reasonable. I would highly recommend this shop for your automotive repairs and maintenance needs.

I have been going to this shop for several years and Al has saved me thousands of dollars. I have 4 cars and he has saved us from going back dealerships where they over charge for everything and keep the cars for days. I trust Al and his staff with all the diagnoses that he has made on my cars and has done a great job. I have recommended him to all my friends and coworkers. Cupertino Auto, assessed what it would take to repair the car, was honest with the estimate, and did the work in record time. The folks at Cupertino Auto are honest and ethical. My car began shaking violently just as I approached Als place. My awesome neighbor, Ken, recommended Cupertino Auto to me awhile ago, so I quickly pulled in without hesitation. Al, the owner, was empathetic to my dilemma and knew what the issue was immediately. Since it was late in the day, he asked me to leave my car and he would repair it first in the morning. True to his word, I had my car back running smoothly just a couple hours after opening hour. Thanks for taking such good care of me and my car, Al!!!

On September 1, 2020 9am i went to Cupertino auto care to do smog certification and get information on my check engine light on my 1994 ford ranger (2.3 liter 4 cylinder). AL REZAI/owner was on site and assisted me.He informed me that he will need to run a diagnostic to get information on the check engine light. Diagnostic fee is $152 and if i choose to get the repair done the fee will be waived also smog certification will be $89 after repair.I agreed and left my 1994 ford ranger with AL REZAI.He called me approximately 1hr later (10am) and said the DTS will need to be changed in order to Repair and Pass smog. The Cost of the part will be $316.20 for a new DIS, $228 for labor and $89 smog TOTALING $661.70. I Agreed and told him to Proceed with the necessary repairs. He said my Truck will be ready by 5pm.By 5pm Al Rezai called to inform me that the repairs have been successfully completed and ready for pickup.I arrived 10 minutes after and AL Rezai was standing at his counter with the old part in hand and invoice.I examined the old part it was a small grey plastic device labeled DIS slightly larger than a dollar bill. Confused on the cost of the part i said Why so much for this little device? $316.20? He said Sorry thats the cost. I paid The Invoice totaling $661.70.Once i arrived home shortly after i inspected for repairs. I immediately spotted the device located on the upper area of the engine fastened by 4 small screws and 2 small wires ( Easily Accessible ).Confused on why he kept my truck for the whole day and charged so much for the repairs i called him immediately to dispute the charges. He said that he cannot do anything for me and hung up on me.I immediately went back to the shop for an explanation and Al was attempting to hide inside his shop i identified him and he said I Charge $150 per hour and I Can charge anything on parts. I pulled out my phone and showed him the information on labor time ($100), price of the part ($100 to $150) at nearby auto parts stores and only takes 10minutes to replace. I requested that he refund me $200 to resolve my dispute and told him if i do not receive my partial refund i will proceed with legal action. He was rude and said i will give you $5 dollars and do what you have to do!I left his shop and within 24hrs i E-mailed and Called AL to inform him that i received estimates from local mechanics. He has not responded to me to this date.After getting estimates from nearby shops the total ranged from $350 to $400 dollars.I am disputing that Cupertino Auto Care/ Al REZAI Overcharged me for repairs. A refund of At Least $200 Dollars will resolve this matter.BeWare Albert is a Scammer and will RIP You OFF. Do not Support this Business.

Two months ago I started taking my vehicle to Cupertino Auto Care for oil changes and regular maintenance. I have found them to be fast, friendly and reliable. Both times, they offered to do the work the same day - even when I wasnt expecting that. Their prices are reasonable. Im glad to have such reliable auto service right in the neighborhood.

It’s a great service, I was buying a used van and of course safety is the most important.So I took it to Cupertino Auto Care, and Ali the expert man took care of the inspection, he checked every single detail and explained to me everything very clearly. My daughter got a flat tire recently on the family minivan. They repaired the tire quickly, while we waited, and *very* inexpensively. Might not have the nicest bedside manner, but look past that to good service at great prices.

I just had my rear brake pads replaced there and I was charged $450 just for that. I called firestone later just to compare and they said $180. Google says average $100-$300. Definitely should compared before agreeing to do it. My mistake but they definitely ripped me off.

Al was very thorough in checking my car and spelled out the work that was necessary and also gave recommendations on maintenance items and left for me to choose - no pressure. They dropped me off at my work and picked me up so no lost time - a valuable thing in my profession. My car runs better than it has in over a year! Overall a great experience.

Went to get Smog Check and the gas attendant said the were gone back in a while. Strange way to run a business.

Charge me $30 for a braking light bulb and 2 minutes job. Will never come back for any service coz hes not a reliable person and a scammer too.

I would give this place a zero if I could. I had been doing some construction on my home and I didnt realize that it was clogging up my engine. My car started running rough and I took it to Cupertino Auto because they were close to my house. On the phone, they told me that they could hook it up to the computer for free and see what was going on. However, when I was there, I was told it was $65 which would be refunded later if they did the work. They gave me a long list of things wrong but couldnt tell me what the computer said. Additionally, they accused me of not changing my oil which I have never missed a day. I went home so mad that I looked under the hood and cleaned the engine. Since then, I havent had a problem after they gave me a $2500. I never want someone to fix my car who cant be honest with me.

I have been taking all of my vehicles here for several years (as have my friends) and I trust them 100%. Al has done oil changes; brake jobs; 30K/60K/100K etc. maintenance; timing chain, head gasket, radiator, and idle speed sensor replacements, etc.. The service is always prompt and the prices are always fair (my brother owns an auto-repair shop --- too far away for me to use --- and I used to check the quotes with him). They have never recommended work that did not actually need to be done (again, I have checked it w/ my brother and had him look at the removed parts). In fact, on occasion they have recommend against doing some work that I thought might be needed in favor of something simpler that might solve the problem. They have done inspection/investigation work for me on quirky/intermittent problems and charged me nothing. Recently I took my 2011 VW GTI in because it had a coolant leak and it was out of the base 3yr/36K mile warranty. Al diagnosed the problem to be a leaking water pump and found out that the part was covered as under the 5yr/60K mile drivetrain warranty that was still in effect. Al called me immediately to tell me I should take the car to the dealership because it was a warranty repair, saving me hundreds of dollars. He then had to re-assemble the cooling system so that I could drive the vehicle to the dealer. I offered to pay him for the labor that he had performed to diagnose the problem but he refused payment. Take your vehicles here, you will be glad you did.
