Sister went to dealership for service work. After picking up car, new issues were immediately present that were not present before. Dealership refuses to look at problem without charging an absurd $130 fee and states that it will determine whether the dealerships service department was negligent. Good luck with that in court....
I had a great experience at this dealer! After disappointing experiences at other dealerships It was refreshing to work with Micheal who listened to exactly what I was looking for and found me the perfect vehicle. I had limited time on a Saturday and had to leave prior to finishing the deal. Monday when I returned they had the car cleaned up, the dent I was worried about fixed and sitting in the show room with a bow on top waiting for me to come in and finish the paperwork. Would highly recommend this dealership and Micheal specifically!

A month ago I purchased a car at this dealership and the entire staff was extremely pleasant every step of the way. The cheapest prices in town too. I drove an hour to get to this place, and it was well worth it. I’ve been conned by shady dealers in the past, and none of those stereotypes were true here.I reccomended anyone looking for a car to go here, staff was great, and had a lot of personality too. 5 star place!__For transparency sake I’ll say that my original review has been edited and revised. I had a few issues that were quickly resolved by the staff.
CEL came on while under warranty. They refused to honor the factory warranty, and told me I needed to pay $300 bucks just to find out what the engine code was for. I actually deal with the warranty claims on the company vehicles at my job, so I know this to not be true. I will not purchase a personal, or company vehicle from any of the Marhofer dealerships. Nor will I buy another car from the manufacturer Im general. Not exactly the best business practices if they want a repeat business IMO.
Always treated well at Ron Marhofer, especially by Darryl Thompson. This is my third car I have purchased with his help. Everyone else has always been helpful and friendly. A great experience all around. My #1 car dealership and sales person.

Dealership was excellent. One of many that actual had what they said they had listed and at the price. Was hassle free. Michael was awesome. He had great customer service and was patient and made our experience worth the drive from Cleveland worth the trip. Josh in finance was very nice as well and took his time to explain other financing options, but untimely we went with the deal that was best for our financial needs. Overall I believe this is a trusted dealer.
This dealer has a terrible hold policy, compared to others I have worked with. I expressed interest in a used car first thing Monday morning. Offered to place a deposit to hold the car during my work day. I was told they could only hold the car for the amount of time it takes me to get to the dealer, and to call before I leave so the vehicle can be held for me. Meantime, a customer from out of state offers to drive to see the car, so they receive the benefit of a longer hold because they are out of state. I will not entertain doing business with this dealer in the future and will recommend against doing so to others as well.
Just wanted to say how much I hate going to a dealership to get a car and the bother. But Ron Marhofer Hyundai Falls has an amazing staff. Jason Bowman made my experience absolutely amazing!!!!! Good:-Salesperson Katie George is excellent.-Received more for my trade than expected.After first visit i would have given the experience a 5 star ratingBad:- returned for paper work with a 6pm appointment. Was there over 2-1/2 hours- Finance person, Marcus, seemed to want to play games/not upfront. Interest rate and extra warranties. He didnt give price of extra warranties, just showed different monthly payments. I was already fed up before that. Not sure who buys stuff without seeing the price.I didnt need to Finance the car, and have an excellent credit rating....dont need someone trying to play games with me.Left there mad enough that the 5 stars drop to a 1 star, have no plays of returning to buy from them again.

We purchased a used vehicle from Ron Marhofer Hyundai this weekend. This was our first time dealing with any of the Ron Marhofer dealerships. It was a good experience. First off, their salespeople work on salary and not commission so there is a much more laidback atmosphere. They had two vehicles on their website that I was interested in, so I called them to verify that they were still available. I spoke with a salesperson by the name of Aramis. When we arrived at the dealership, he had one of the vehicles out front waiting for us and pulled the second one up next to the first so that we could compare the two. We are very picky and have been disappointed in the quality of vehicles that we have been looking at both by private sellers and dealerships. I cannot speak for all of Ron Marhofer’s used car inventory, but the main vehicle that we were interested in was in above average condition. We bought it and are very happy with it so far.Aramis was very professional and did a great job making sure that we were taken care of during our visit. Amy, the finance manager, did a good job as well and got us through finance faster than I have ever gotten through the finance office before. She was very efficient. I usually hate that part of the transaction, but this was quick and painless.My only issues were relatively minor but account for them only receiving a four-star rating instead of five from me. First, dealerships always fill up your fuel tank when you buy a car, and we were told that they were going to take it to get filled up. On the way home, we noticed that It did have more fuel in it than it did when we test drove it but it was still less than half a tank of fuel in it. Not sure if the pump shut off early and they did not notice or what happened there. The second issue was, as nice as this vehicle is, the one eyesore that stood out to me was the old and corroded battery that was under the hood. So I was surprised to later see on the Carfax that the dealership had replaced the battery before putting the vehicle up for sale. They obviously replaced it with a used battery. I did bring this to their attention, but their service techs were not in on weekends. All in all, I would say that I received good service there, but you still “owe me great service.”
Went in to have some maintenance done to my car and Chris Sutton was on top of ensuring I got what I needed. This place isnt just in it to make a quick profit. The professionalism displayed during my time with them showed me that people still care about the quality of work they do and making sure the customer feels like family. Great job guys !

This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle! The high pressure sales environment does not exist at this dealership. Becky Meagher was the absolute best! She was responsive, friendly, kind, up front, as well as patient. I had to re-schedule my test drive several times at the last minute and she completely understood. I would recommend this dealership to anyone & everyone! They actually applied the rebate they quoted. The quote given initially was on point and they did not deviate from it. Acted completely ignorant and kind of rude.I went in to see about getting weld nuts tapped. The guy - Dan - acted as if he never heard the word weld before.He said maybe a Honda dealer knows what they are but hes Hyundai.I Googled it and showed him.He still looked confused and suggested I get one at Auto Zone.He still didnt realize that I didnt need to solely purchase nuts... I needed the nuts tapped.SMH.
I had two separate appointments scheduled. Chris was able to get both services performed at the same time, saving me time and a 35 mile drive.
Within the last five years, my family has bought four brand new cars from this dealership. it has gotten more and more difficult to have our cars serviced, short staffed, i get it. but what really upsets me is the fact that the scheduler doesn’t know the hours of operation.. i live in columbus, but prefer to have my services done where i brought the car. i took the day off of work for an oil change and tire rotation. i was scheduled for monday july, 5th, drove to the dealership, and they were CLOSED. BS if you ask me

Amazing service, staff and overall experience at Ron Marhofer. I dont think well ever buy our cars anywhere else. We drove about 2-3 hours after seeing the car I wanted online and left with it that night. We are from out of state and even then, with having to register it in our own state, get plates and pay taxes (which they sent us a check for), it was definitely worth it. I do wish they couldve taken care of some of that for us, but we understood that they didnt do any of the out of state stuff there. Our experience was wonderful, we were back again at another Ron Marhofer location two months later when we saw another car online that we wanted! Great experience with that purchase and well. We recommend them to everyone!
We have a 2010 Santa Fe which we brought in for service. The found a rusting out subframe which was a huge safety issue. They showed us what was wrong and submitted it to Hyundai. Fortunately Hyundai covered it. The staff kept us up to date. Made all necessary repairs. Every staff member in the this shop was professional and courteous. Hats off to Dan, Chris, and Chris! Thanks for doing a great job!

So here we go again I brought my 2019 sonota to have a series no problems addressed make a appointment last week and was supposed to have a loaner. So as usual they plug the car into the computer and tell me nothing is wrong this car has a bad motor and had been stalling and wont start but nothings wrong. Also the car is burning oil at only 12.000 miles also the car takes a half hour to warm up. Dont take your car here to repaired. CUSTOMER service is terrible
Kind staff, clean facility, easy to access entry.If you arent a seasoned car buyer, be sure to take one with you. Not that this location is any different than others, but I was disappointed a couple of times before finally only being 85% satisfied with my final 30k decision.

I will never go to a dealership let alone go to this one. First time ever going to a dealership and getting a hyundai elantra. Which I have had nonstop problems within months are getting it. Which they told me they check all the parts for half life or more(funnyy he was quick to take the paper of how bad the parts are from me). Very disappoint in this whole car company. They sold me a car with a bad starter, bad ignition coil,And I had to replace all my brakes and rotors and had to replace battery all within getting it and just having it for a couple months.
They don’t return calls. Service is awful! Was told my car would be ready in 1 week, now they can’t find my car! Reporting it stolen tonight

It was time sensitive for me to get my car in to get checked and if needed repaired. They were able to get me in within a couple hours and repair the problem. I was back on the road and able to drive to another state the next day without changing plans. I am so thankful for their quick assistance!!
I called 3 times over 2 days, to schedule a service appointment. The first time was on hold until I had to leave a message, the second the front desk took my name and number, the third time it went to voicemail. Noone ever called back.

I have been a customer at this location for some time now. I first owned a Mitsubishi and since have traded it in for my current 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. The service department at this particular site, has been very helpful, accommodating and patient. In the past I have tried to access another stores service center, but my experience there was not a good one in comparison to my experience at the Cuyahoga Falls location. Chris Armentrout - Service adviser is a liar.Took my 2011 Hyundai Sonata in for an extended crank problemThey found out the issue after having it 3 days,said it was the low pressure fuel pump.Chris advised me to do it myself to save cash on the labor and part -I call him back 4 days later after I have installed the low pressure fuel pump,and I am still having the extended crank problemHe then tells me he cannot help me,and to take the car back where I bought it..extremely unprofessional.
*EDIT*This used to be a two star review, because as you can see from the old review below, i had a very frustrating experience. However i have to say i have changed my mind. As i said below i was extremely confused as to why everyone spoke so highly of Ron Marhofer when i had such a bad experience with the finance department, WHY DID EVERYONE LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH? Well I found out.I was contacted about my review by James Berger, the Variable Operations Director, but oddly not because he wanted a review changed, i could tell by his voice he was genuinely hurt that ANYONE had this experience, but he didnt just apologize and move on. We went over the entire situation (i had been trying to work with finance because i thought that the insurance company hadnt paid the full amount after my car was totaled) At this point i had given up on getting any financial reimbursement, i just wanted itemized information on the payoff. James spent hours pouring through all of the paperwork and making phone calls to the insurance company, the bank, loan company, etc.. and not only found discrepancies, but did not rest until they were resolved. I can tell you that this whole situation was not just about a review. I have had companies apologize for bad experiences before, but i have NEVER had anyone take such a personal interest in making sure that each and every person is taken care of fairly. Thank you James, thank you Ron Marhofer, i guess i need to change my next car from a Tesla back to a Hyundai. (or anything i can get from Ron Marhofer) because i can tell you right now, you will never find another dealership with that kind of service, the service that goes above and beyond (AFTER the car has been purchased and paid off).**old review below**I know a lot of people seem to have a good buying experience here but i feel like most companies are going to be friendly with you when you might spend 20k or more with them, i unfortunately care more about post-sales support. I was recommended to them for my BMW by a family friend who had purchased many cars through them, he was shocked at some of the maintenance that they had missed on the car and they seemed to lose the paperwork when i requested they show what work they performed. The car was totaled about a year later and i had to process a cancellation of the warranty which was a pain in and of itself, the finance person i was working on Angelina disappeared from the company partway through and call after call nobody emailed or called me back. I finally got in touch with someone who transferred me, i was put on hold for 18 minutes before someone answered and then transferred me to someone else. I was upset (but not yelling) and i explained the situation stating that this needed to be handled today and the guy that i was transferred to (Dan) was extremely rude and told me he would not help me if i was yelling. He asked for my name and i gave it to him, i spelled my last name but apparently he didnt hear my first name so asked if my name was suzy (i am clearly a male). I told him we had to get this taken care of because i would have to make another payment soon and this was a hassle so he preceded to put me on hold for another 16 minutes, all he needed to do was give me a name of who to send my paperwork to. At this point I am going to have to deal with someone else, this is insane.

Not only did I drive away with the car I fell in love with the payments where in my budget. Her attetivness and knowledge were on point. I highly recommend Chris Armentrout and the service professionals at Ron Marhofer Hyundai of Cuyahoga Falls. I go there for my routine oil changes and preventative maintenance. I like that the service staff take pictures of the areas of my car which need immediate ( or near future) attention. No matter how busy, Chris takes the time to explain these issues and informs you of all costs involved up front, so you can make an educated decision on which work needs to be done now versus a couple of paydays down the road.I think the waiting area could be improved -- the TV doesnt even change channels -- but the free beverages make up for that, I guess!I feel like my car and I are well taken care of here! I went in mid afternoon on Dec 30th, with no appointment, and the work was done. It did take a while, (see no appointment) but I was kept updated, and offered a ride to a local restaurant to get dinner while I waited. Very pleased with the work, and with the service tech.

I was in desperate need of a vehicle and the woman who helped me took advantage of that. I was unable to test drive the car because it was in for a 120 point inspection. She never informed me that there were several chips in the front windshield, the blinker doesnt stay on by itself I have to hold it in place, and my brakes are already grinding into my rotors and the center console doesnt snap into place. It just slides forward and backwards every time I stop and start. Plus, one of my tires has had a slow leak since I picked it up. Ive had the vehicle for 3 months. Ive reached out to the woman who scammed me into thinking it was a good car and all she has said is a team leader would contact me. Its never happened. Call up there and Im told the same thing, oh a team leader will have to help you. Apparently there are no team leaders because no one is contacting me back. This is very poor business. I went there expecting to be taken care of and Ive been scammed. Id advise anyone, if you try to go here, test drive the vehicle and take it to a mechanic that isnt on Ron Marhofers payroll to look at the car.

I have had a few interactions with Ron Marhoffer of Hyundai. Id like to say I am happy with the service I received but a few things leave me questioning, thus the lack of 5 stars. I have taken my car to have the speakers fixed 3 times in the last year. They fix them in a timely manner, however the fact that they keep breaking has me questioning if they are avoiding finding and fixing the root problem and just doing a quick fix. A speaker should not go out that many times in a year. I also recently experienced my glass sunroof exploding. This is covered by an extended hyundai warranty. It took forever to fix but that is to no fault of the company. They gave me a rental car for the time being - awesome. HOWEVER, apparently cleaning up the glass from the shattered roof is not part of the warranty? I find that hard to believe. I had to drive my car home with shards of glass on the seats, floor, and console. My husband cut his hand on the glass just getting into the car. We had to take it to a car wash place and pay for the vacuum and spent 10 minutes vacuuming out the glass. I dont understand why Hyundai would not do that, if anything for my safety, especially when they had my car for a MONTH. I was happy with their service right until I saw all the glass they left in my car. How could they think that is ok? Especially when it would not have been much more effort to vacuum it out and leave their customer with a 5 star experience. Disappointing.
We were shopping around at a few different dealerships, and we decided on a Hyundai largely because of the amazing service and overall experience we had with Tyler. Understood our situation, what we wanted, what we were looking for and made the entire process effortless for us. No pushy salesman lingo, no pressure on rushing a decision, no up-selling.... just a night and day difference from the other dealership we went to. Will 100% be back for our next vehicle.
I had posted a review previously that wasnt the best. They responded the review and solved the issue my parents were having. I am very great-full. My family continue to buy every car we can from them. They are an asset to our community.

I didnt purchase a car. I was with a friend who was shopping. My friend had never bought a car that requires financing before and was extremely nervous and scared of the whole process. John D. Greeted us at the door, and was exceptionally professional, polite, and quick to put my friend at ease. I have never had a more comfortable experience in car buying personally in the past. Circumstances demanded that a new vehicle was badly needed, however my friend had a limited budget to work with. John spent an inordinate amount of time providing options, and explained everything as we went. I was personally impressed with him and the finance people who doggedly worked to find financing for my friend. My friend left with a car that was an excellent value, and low mileage that should last her for a very long time. A bonus was the long term manufacturer warranty that was available. While waiting for financing to be arranged, John took the initiative to send the car to the service department for a minor recall adjustment to be performed. My friend is thrilled that she has reliable transportation to get her 9 year old grandson to numerous medical appointments at Cleveland Clinic for muscular dystrophy. I may not have bought a car myself, but would recommend John and Marhoffer to anybody else. I will buy my next car there! Ive been in for service and interval maintenance. They are a top notch shop. It really makes ZERO sense to have service on your used vehicle at a private garage today. Those idiots are charging the SAME RATES as the dealers. Before it made sense because you could have a private shop do the work for about 50% less. TODAY, however, it is a completely different story. So who would you rather have working on your car? A private shop whos just as much but isnt trained or certified on your brand and services many brands? Or a factory authorized and WARRANTY SUPPORTED dealer whos techs are your brand only and are trained constantly by the manufacturer?? No brainer.That all being said, they always provide me a demo loaner or they pay to rent a hertz across the street if theyre out of demos to loan. (Hertz loaners are not always covered. It was a warranty claim.)Very professional and they wash my car every time I go in for service. Even an oil change.I am writing this review because I had to look them up for the #. I am going back in to get suspension and fuel line repaired.
