I have the highest regard for Key Whitman services. One of my technicians today (Gabe) was SUPER helpful, professional and pleasant. Dr Hoelscher too was GREAT. I highly recommend them. I have had zero issues with my exams as well as my cataract surgeries. I cannot praise them enough !!

Key-Whitman had several good reviews so I decided to use him for cataract surgery. During a follow-up visit I was told that I had scar tissue and needed a YAK laser surgery. During that follow-up I was told that I had an eye infection in both eyes. For each visit and surgery I was told up front what my co-pay and charges would be. SURPRISE as each time I went to check out I was billed an additional $20.00 to $50.00 for test they decided to do which insurance didn’t cover. On my last follow-up from the eye infection I was told there was no charge and when I got to the check out counter I was again told there was no charge. To my non-surprise I was sent a bill for $40.00 for co-pay of a test they did that was not needed and never told about. It seems I am up charged on 90% of the visits. When I ask questions to Dr. Faisal as to why certain test had to be done, he let me know I didn’t know anything and he became rather rude. When I last talked to the billing department, they got rude and snippy and told me to pay my bill. This company pays the doctors good money by add on charges to patients. When we are on Social Security the extra charges takes food off the table. I will be going to eye-doc-in-the-box for any other treatments and eye glasses.

Had my annual eye appointment with Key-Whitman today; once again they were spectacular getting me taken care. All good and it didnt take all day to find out! My tech and Dr. Agnew were terrific!

I was recently referred by my friend Brandon who works at Key Whitman for a LASIK Consultation and I’m 2 weeks out from surgery and couldn’t be happier with my results. Everyone was so happy and helpful. Jhana that checked me in was so nice and I was lucky to have Brandon and Dee help with my testing prior to my exam with Dr. Hoelscher and Charlotte. Everyone worked so well together and you can tell that from beginning to end Dr. Hoelscher and her staff had excellent communication all the way through and I felt informed and part of the process every step of the way. I have had a number of eye doctors in the Della area over the years.. I have never had a more thorough examination and they uncovered a condition that should have been treated years ago. Dr Agnew is the most knowledgeable physician I have known and he has a gift for explaining complex matters. The facility is incredibly efficient I dont think I wailed for more than a few moments. I wish had had found these people years ago

Just had my first annual eye exam after having cataract surgery. My eyesight is 20/20 and I have no further need of reading glasses. Key- Whitman company and staff are amazing, fun and professional they made me feel at home all while getting their job done . I highly recommend Key-Whitman for cataract surgery and eye health maintenance .

This is a case of a group that has outgrown dedication to patients. I had been going to KW for many years. This last visit they sent me home with sample contact lenses (says free on the box but they charge $150) that did not match my prescription. Attempts to resolve the issue included multiple calls, many minutes on hold and absolutely no confidence that I had the right prescription or would have it without another visit to their office, which would cost. Never again.

Dr. Fish is a top quality physician and I appreciate all his help over the years caring for my eyes. Also Teresa Díaz, his assistant, did a fantastic job. She is so kind and patient. I highly recommend Key-Whitman Eye Center.

Medical staff is great!very professional!Do NOT PORCHASE YOUR PERSCRIPTION GLASSES THERE!!!Eyewear department is not very candid/truthful on what your options are. They will upsell you basing on what is “free” or covered on your insurance. Then will direct you immediately to the more expensive glasses section. In addition, they will make it difficult for you to cancel your order. I called within 24 hours to cancel my glasses due to emergency financial reasons.The eyewear personnel tells me that it has been submitted and cannot be withdrawn. This is for a set of glasses that will take two week to deliver. Better off buying your glasses prescription at Walmart.

I have been going here for a few years. Dr Whitman did my cataract surgery a few years ago and all has been well. Ive continued to go there due to their professionalism and thoroughness of treatment. My experience with Key-Whitman eye surgery has been a wonderful experience. I was so impressed how quick and smooth the whole organization performed. The care and post op with Dr Agnew and his staff was very reassuring and anxiety free.

Dr. Fish always makes sure all our questions are answered without rushing us. Thats great because a translator is always involved in our visit.Also, Daisy our tech was the best at explaining why she does the procedures and making sure all tests were done properly (cleaning the fog off the lens, explaining what to expect and to do calmly without rushing).

I have been a contact wearer for over 10 years. Being a first responder makes it difficult to wear contacts because you have to sleep in them so that you can be out the door ASAP for emergencies. I decide to contact Key Whitman to see about lasik and it was the best decision ever. I went in on a Tuesday to see if I was candidate and I was and I had my lasik the following week on Friday. I have almost perfect vision now and it is a life changer. The front desk, the technicians and the doctors are all top notch and I would recommend key Whitman 100%

The doctor and vision test were fine. However, the front desk refused to submit the claim to my insurance. I had to pay out of pocket. This happened once before so this time I contacted my insurance company before the appointment to make sure the visit was covered. The insurance company assured me it was covered. I told the desk jockeys to call the insurance company while I was there. But they refused several times. I called the insurance company once more after the appointment and told them what the front desk personnel said. They confirmed they would have paid the claim. Im now contesting the credit card charge so Key-Witman wont get paid by me. Theyll have to submit the charge through my insurance.

Worst experience ever.!!! I was on my way to preop consultation and they called me and said that their system is down and they won’t be able to see me... never call me back... after two weeks, I called and speak with manager (Hollie), I asked about my preop and surgery day... never call me back. After 3 weeks of waiting, they called me and said why I did not show for my post surgery consultation that they are going to charge me for no show... Please Dr Whitman, you need better quality of employees and better communication... Same thing happened to patients that we referred to him from our clinics... very unprofessional!!!

Everyone was so helpful and professional. One of the techs explained the the purposes for all procedures when I was curious. Whitman did my lasik and he made the process easy and comfortable.I had a checkup on Monday and I had the LASIK procedure on a Friday. Its easily the best way Ive spent money.

Very satisfied with the how fast and organized this office is. The cleanliness of the building especially with this pandemic but especially the care and professionalism of all the staff. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and directed to the surgery area, the front desk were quick and explained things simply but direct. The actual dr was very sweet and helped me through my nerves. By far the greatest eye Center Ive ever been to! From the moment you walk in the door you are treated with curtsey and respect. They get you in and out fairly quickly. So far an awful experience. Went through all the pre-op prep for surgery (was scheduled this morning). They called me 10 minutes before surgery stating the machine was having errors. They stated they would need to re-schedule, but refused to give me a date. I have spoken to 4 different people, no one can give me an answer on rescheduling or what even happened.Frustrating because its hard to schedule around this i.e. requires you to take time off from work, someone to be able to drive you & take time off from their work (they do not allow uber to drive you home), and the next day for recovery. Surgery obviously requires some planning.I get that things happen.. but this is just bad customer service. No empathy or acknowledgement of patient burden.Ironic that their policy states they will charge you a fee if you cancel on them last minute!Update as of 5/10 - LasikPlus was able to get my LASIK done same day on Friday. Cost a little more, but the patient experience was so much better. Do not use Key-Whitman for your LASIK - not worth being treated like a widget.

I wish I could leave a better rating; however, my experience is only worthy of two stars. I did not get to see Dr Fish, as originally scheduled for, but substitute doctor was very nice. The issue is I went in for eye infection and was prescribed medication. Confirmed my pharmacy before I left and this was day before Thanksgiving. The prescription never arrived to pharmacy so I called the office back early in the afternoon and was told everyone that could help had left for the day and they would have someone contact me the following Monday. Unacceptable, so I ended up using Tele-health and was able to receive medication within 30 minutes of my visit. My eye began to feel better by Saturday, but the main reason for rating is no one ever called back on Monday or since my visit.

Eye center should have better system in place when computers go down.

As a physician, I pay close attention to the way other medical offices handle appointments and customer service. This is my second visit at this center. Everyone is very professional and respectful. The wait times are reasonable. The office is clean. All my questions were answered. I would totally recommend this office, and they do an excellent job! I sent a family member here and he was satisfied. My only negative feedback is that the charges were not itemized. I was expecting a certain charge based on the wavers I signed and I purchased some eye drops, but my bill was more than I was expecting. Not a big deal, but that would be the one change I would suggest. A. Sigman

I hate to post a negative review, but I will do it for the good of other consumers. I would want to know about this kind of experience practice if I were choosing an eye doctor. The only reason I’m giving two stars and not one is because after all the confusion and conflicting information from even supervisors, Jhana at the front desk stepped in and helped and finally got me what I needed. She was the only one I worked with who was consistently polite, professional, and competent.I purposely asked for an appointment with an ophthalmologist (i.e. an MD) because something serious was wrong with my eye. Even though for the insurance they told me my appointment would be with an MD, they had me see an optometrist, unbeknownst to me. When I discovered that I had actually seen an optometrist and not an ophthalmologist, I called back and asked for an ophthalmologist appointment. The supervisor assured me that next time they would make sure an ophthalmologist saw me, yet they sent an optometrist in again! I insisted until I saw an ophthalmologist and lo and behold, the ophthalmologist said that something was wrong and that I needed more tests and follow up. The optometrist had notes the “possibility” of something wrong but said follow up in a year! After that, I had no more trust in their care so I went to another ophthalmologist elsewhere. Turns out I had a very serious condition that I need serious treatment for. So beware that the optometrists and MDs May give different levels of care and that for some reason, could be OK having you wait a year until your annual checkup even when you should be seen sooner.

Key-Whitman employees always treat me professionally with kindness. Everyone knows his or her job well and acts quickly and proficiently. Dr. Agnew is thorough and takes time to answer questions. I cant imagine a better place to trust with my eye care.

5 Stars all the way. I can’t offer enough praise for this practice. I’ve met with Dr. Fisher (Fischer? - sorry) and with Dr. Agnew on separate occasions. I was in extreme discomfort both times and both were quick to assess and quick to help. Both are highly professional and want the best for your eyeballs.To be clear, it’s not just them I’m giving 5 stars - it’s the staff as well. They took my calls and prioritized my pain and discomfort. I didn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes on either occasion.

I had lasik last week. Very happy with the results. Today I came back for a follow up, I received a reminder for my appointment days before. Wish is great communication. Not so great that I arrived to my appointment 40 minutes later thinking it was at a later time. I checked in and received a message to stay in my car until I get a text to come in. I waited 30 minutes and send a text thinking someone will respond to me and nothing. I decided to go inside the lady at the front desk told me it was automated messages. Another person got in the conversation saying that I had just checked in. My complain is if someone is monitoring the text messages why not communicate with the customer and informed of the late arrival or that I have to reschedule. I waited outside for 30 minutes. The device was in her hands therefore she choose not to communicate with the customer (me) very disappointing

Easy to request appointment online...call received the next morning. Wait time was negligible. Tech was very friendly and warm. Dr. Fish was precise and explained exam results. Bought new frames here, too. Long was very helpful. Nice comfortable office! Highly recommend.

Had an infection in my eyelid. Received medication and both doctors that I saw (Dr Agnew and Dr Fish) were both very concerned. They wanted to see me every week for three weeks to make sure I was healing appropriately. Last visit was today with Dr Fish who performed a minor procedure last week to aid in quicker healing. He is thorough and very kind!I feel like Im always in good hands at their Dallas office! Have been a patient for four years.

Everything was so fast. The place is clean and organized. The staff is amicable. Plenty of parking. I dont drink coffee but they offered it to me. They even have tables with plugs in them in case... I dunno... maybe if youre waiting on someone in surgery I guess.

Yesterday I had the Lipiflow procedure done for the first time. Dr. Agnew & Holly were so kind & patient. I was a little apprehensive & they each took the time to answer all of my questions & fully inform me about the procedure, making sure I was comfortable before proceeding. I’ve see Dr.Agnew for the past 7 years following my LASIK. He always listens & I never feel rushed during my appointment. Holly is a gem - she was super friendly & supportive. Although this review is based on yesterday’s appointment, all of the Dallas location staff I’ve ever interacted with from start to finish have been great.

I love this place! The best clinic to go to. I am a Dallas physician and went to KW because of patient feedback and on line reviews. I didn’t go in announcing I’m a doctor so I could get an objective experience with the practice. Without question, the on line reviews are right on! The attention I received and the eye exam was the absolute best I’ve experienced. I was not pushed to have surgery although it would have been easy to agree to it with my condition. I was, in fact, advised that I didn’t need surgery and that corrective eyewear would solve my problem until I did need surgery. Very refreshing for a place that specialized in surgical intervention. Dr. Fish was very professional as was his staff. Another thing that is often a sticking point when going to the doctor was the front desk staff. All were polite, warm and helpful. I was called in for my appointment exactly on time, no waiting! 10 stars!!
