I will never come here again! It’s so unsanitary! I came for donuts and kolaches until I looked up and saw the lady rolling tea pig in the blankets with her bare hands on a table. NO GLOVES! I asked why she isn’t wearing clothes and the only thing she said was I don’t know! Eat here at your own risk! I’ll be contacting the health department ASAP

Nice little place. Friendly people, good coffee, tasty donuts. Just dont get the strawberry filled crisp. Its more like strawberry flavored, and thats also a stretch.

I ordered 2 chocolate donuts. She went to the back. Took off her gloves. Grabbed a glaze donut bare handed. Dipped it into the chocolate frosting. Then put her glove back on and grabbed a complimentary glazed donut. The lady was nice but I jus took 2 glazed and left. I told her Please don’t touch food barehanded. Especially after you just took my money with that same hand. When I asked her why she took off the glove, she said “to not get frosting on them” 🤦🏽‍♂️

I like the food and the coffee is great. Is a little pricey, but its good quality fresh food. If you want something super cheap then go fast food, but it wont taste as good.

Daylight Doughnuts is one of my two go to places for DOUGHNUTS of course. I like going there as its close to where I live. Plus not too far from the local University. The staff is friendly and helpful. When ever Ive gone in the store its always well lit. Clean and quiet. they have a nice selection of pastries as well as hot coffee, milk and soda products ( cold of course) the prices are about par for most pastry shops. So its worth visiting.

Flavorful yes I guess if you like oil and loads of sugar, but the freshest thing on the menu seems to be the microwave warmed items. The donut holes, buttermilk, cake and (wheres the apple) apple fritters are all dry, oily, no springy freshness, more the 3 day old left the bag open bread texture.The apple fritters (my favorite) had one (1!) little apple piece in the 3/1.00 I got; which made almost 1 complete fritter. There were no real apples but the one little piece hidden in the cinnamon and sugar coating. I also tasted the oil, almost heavy in spots, like they were using grease (which is cheaper) to fry the items. Ever had to use hot coffee to swish around to loosen the oily buildup? Not pleasant at all.Sorry gang but if this is the best you have had at 6:00AM-6:30AM... You havent had a great donut yet. This was not the best I have had, and since moving to the area, I have yet to find a single great and fresh donut place near 75243 area.SOMEONE PLEASE SUGGEST A GREAT FRESH DONUT JOINT IN THE AREA! I miss the one they used to have in Irving, before his kids took it over and changed the ingredients to cheap crap. Just one bite and you knew you found donut heaven... fresh every day, holes, fritter with apple chunks you could see through out the entire fritter, chocolate dark and semi sweet you could taste the natural sweet and tart of the cocoa not the sugar. Yeah, they dont have places like that anymore.

I think these are the best glazed donuts in Dallas. Even if you don’t order donut holes, they still throw a few in your bag/box as a nice little extra. They have an awesome assortment of donuts like maple bacon.I’ve been coming here for 5 years, once or twice a week. Now that I live in Boston, home of Dunkins 😑, where I haven’t been able to find a good donut, Coit Donuts (Daylight Donuts) is my first morning stop every trip back! If they ever close this place, I’m going to cry!

I’ve been here a handful of times. Not very friendly. Food isn’t the best. They have a minimum amount for debit card transactions. Which is illegal. Won’t go there again.

USED TO BE MY FAVORITE DONUT SHOP. THE LADY AT THE FRONT IS A DIRTY THIEF. I bought donuts, $11.34 worth and gave her $20.35. She only gave me $8 back and didn’t offer a receipt and told me to “go now” and pushed my donut bag towards me. Shorted me $1.01 for no damn reason. Never again you SCAMS.

Watch your credit card! When I go here, I order the exact same thing every time. The total is usually around $5.40 ish. One time it was $6 for some reason. Not sure why my total changes when Im ordering the exact same thing.... but ok, small fluctuation--maybe someone cant do math. But then one day, they charge me $9.43. Why would my total be $4 more than it normally is when I order the exact same thing? Shady business practices here... needless to say, what once used to be my favorite donut store on the way to work, I will no longer be visiting.
