Very dishonest business. Several red flags, but we gave them a chance and totally regretted it.I called Atlas and described problem with our church projectors. Owner said it was common issue and could be fixed from $200-300.I dropped off 3 projectors for diagnostic. After several days with no calls from them, I called for update.Owner said that they needed “parts” and they could get it repaired that same day. (RED FLAG #1)Owner said it would be around $2800 for all three projectors!(RED FLAG #2) Substantially higher than quoted on phone. I told them we are fine with after market parts and he said he will check.Few days later I called to check for status of aftermarket/used parts. Owner stated will be ready for pickup! We didn’t even agreed on the price or repair(RED FLAG #3). I told owner to only fix two of the projectors with the used parts price which he claims is half the cost.We came next day to pick it up and he repaired all 3 projectors instead of the 2 we authorized (RED FLAG #4)He said he will “keep” the 3rd projector if we didn’t want to pay for it. By this point I already lost trust in this guy. I didn’t want to chance losing my projector and went ahead and paid for the UNAUTHORIZED repair.After we installed the projectors at the church, we noticed the problem wasn’t fix for one of the projector. The other projector couldn’t power on (same issue before repair!) (RED FLAG #5)I called the owner addressed my concerns. He said he fixed the problem and one of them may need a new bulb (the brightness was the main issue why we dropped it off) on top of the $700 repair.I gave up trying to reason with the owner at this point. I called up my CC company and they will dispute the charges for this fraudulent business practice.Reading some of the other low reviews on Google, we noticed this is a not an uncommon issue with Atlas. The 4 Star is very misleading. We went by that and it’s may be fake reviews.They are at most 1 Star. VERY DISHONEST BUSINESS!Please be very careful with this business and don’t be a victim.

Great place to repair a TV! Very good experience with Atlas. Atlas has really friendly staff, is fairly priced and run very professionally. I took our 75 Samsung for repairs when the power supply board went out and recommended them with enthusiasm. My time is very limited and I asked if it could be done quickly and they did it very quickly. Repairs were done in an hour and at a very fair price.

I would highly recommend. Technician was prompt and professional. He did a great job installing the TV bracket on the wall and hanging the TV. Great work! Communication was thorough and efficient. We have used him twice and both times have been super happy with results. He provides extra customer service by hooking up all the cables and wires and makes sure everything is working properly.

These guys know their stuff! It took some time to settle down and the communication system is very good. But as I said, they know it. My TV and projector were fixed and the price was fair. Try them if you have the time. I will definitely come back.

These guys were great. While mounting our Samsung 55 TV we accidentally screwed it through the circuit board. We lowered the TV to 10 and it started working like new. Hopefully we’ve won ‘they’ll need them again anytime soon, but if we do we’ll definitely use them!

I took some of my projectors to other places for repairs and none came close to Atlas customer service and price. They are very honest and do not try to take advantage of you. I would recommend them to repair any TV or projector.

After watching tons of YouTube videos and fidgeting with extremely small screws, I accepted defeat and gave up on replacing the bulb in my companys projector myself so I found Atlas Electronics on Google and visited the store the next day. Experienced and knowledgeable, no doubt, but beware as they are making a lot of money off your electronic ignorance. Case and point, charged me just under $300 to replace the color wheel in my optoma projector. After the replacement went out in a few months I was able to replace it myself for around $38 and 1.5 hours

For some reason my Samsung TV stopped turning on. It was the worst day of my 3 years old life ;) I found Atlas Electronic on yelp and asked them for a quote. Their pricing was very reasonable and I dropped my TV off that day. Within an hour they let me know that my tv was ready to be picked up. My son and I are very happy with the TV repair.

I called these guys and they said bring it. The place is doing all the repairs. When I went inside, they separated the projector at the front counter. My projector beats the dust. These guys are great. And from the number of customers coming and going, this is the place to go for TV and projector repairs.

The tech at Atlas Electronics did an amazing job mounting a giant 85 inch tv in our living room and mounting a 65 inch tv in our bedroom. He was able to install a swivel mount for the 85 inch tv, which I was very nervous about in the beginning. Cleaned up everything and programmed our remotes. Was in an out in about 2 hours. I highly recommend him and will use him for our future needs. Thanks for the great work!!!

Wow. I have a TV that’s more expensive to repair vs just getting a new TV. Since it’s a higher end TV I called them to see if they bought TV’s for scrap parts. The gentleman was so nice and professional. He advised I would be better off just listing on eBay/offer up because he could not give much for it. Also gave me advice on where to get a new TV. I work in sales/customer service and I’m used to rude people just trying to get you off the phone if they can’t make a dollar off of you. Now I wish I had something that needed repair so I could take to these guys. I don’t know about their prices but their customer drive is top notch.

Took my LG TV and got an estimate of $700 just for parts and I decided to call LG to get it fixed since the estimate was too high and too many parts to get fixed .LG Technician opened the tv infront of me and most of wires were unplugged and a piece out of one of the parts (Panel) were pulled and wasn’t there, after all that Lg charged me $250 to fix the Tv including the parts .some of the parts that Atlas told me that needs to be changed it didn’t need to be changed, so they wanted to charge me on more parts, I won’t go or recommend to anyone to go to this place .

I sent in my main board for my LG 55 inch TV that just suddenly quit with no sound and no picture. Atlas Electronics was very professional and answered all my questions over the phone. Let me say, this is by far the best place in Dallas to get your TV repaired. I have purchased two TVs from them and they repaired two additional TVs of mines which they did a good job. More importantly, I had a Denon Receiver that broke during a storm. I was devastated because I didnt want to spend alot of money to buy a new one. I took my Denon Receiver here and they were able to repair the damages. I was sooo relieved because they helped me save hundreds of dollars. This place is worth all 5 stars!!!!

Wow. This is the type of place thats only developed over time and in order to do that two things have to happen. You have to love what you do and you have to be good at it. They have obviously accomplished both because this place is amazing. If it takes a screen or requires a bulb or light they can fix it and almost always have the parts already in house. As long as I keep breaking things, theyll be there to fix them and there is nowhere else that I would even consider.

I took a brand new karaoke machine in May of the year to Atlas repair shop due to a short in the speakers. I would call & visit Atlas for updates & I would be told we are waiting on parts from China all the way up until January of the next year. Covid pandemic started around February. I was unable to reach a live person. I called in March, April, then visited the store in May. They told me they had no record of me or my karaoke machine & could not help me. I left. I visited again & same thing. I told them I wanted my karaoke machine & they told me it went to a warehouse & was gone from there. They never called or communicated they received the parts or that I needed to come pick it up or anything. One employee told me he was going to build me another karaoke & he was to call me when he was completed. Never a phone call or communication from Atlas. I called again & was told by receptionist that she would look into it & call me back. Atlas never did. Now I’m out of my karaoke that I only had a month, the $25 I gave to Atlas to look at the karaoke before they stole it from me & my own dignity for them taking advantage of me & lying to me all those months! This is a sorry, dirty, low down repair shop! I will never use their service again. Nor would I recommend them to anyone!

Took my Optoma projector there a while back because of a fan lock error pop up that causing it to immediately shut down. It’s been about 3 months since then and I hadn’t had a problem since. They were quick to ship out my projector back to me and I was very pleased with the pricing offered here.

I took a computer monitor into Atlas Electronics after corresponding on the phone with a gentleman I assume to be the owner of the business (who was great). Id say, probably 01/26/21 is when I dropped it off with them.I explained that I was having issues with my screen intermittently going black for a second or so at a time. Dropped off the monitor and cable I was using (a display port cord) for them to use to test it. I paid the Diagnostic Fee, which was explained would go towards the repair once an estimate and diagnosis was given.~Two days go by, havent heard anything so on Thursday or Friday (either 01/28-01/29) I reached out. I did not speak to the owner this time, but a younger guy. I let them know that I had dropped it off, what it was, etc. The, verbatim, response I was given was: Okay, well were waiting on some parts to come in. They should be here Tuesday, so if you havent heard from me by then give us a call. That led me to assume they had an idea of what was going on and had perhaps ordered parts for it.Tuesday rolls around, and I hear nothing from anybody at the shop. Wednesday rolls around, still hearing nothing from anyone. I give the shop a call, I explain that I was told to call on or after Tuesday. The younger guy I spoke to explained that Nick was the guy WORKING (exact words) on it, but he was currently out... but that he would tell him to give me a call that evening to let me know about the estimate. Sounds good to me, so I wait. Wednesday evening comes and goes, and I never got a call.This morning (Thursday) I have to, again, call the shop to get any info on the situation. A younger girl answers the phone, she took my name and left for a moment to go check for me. When she comes back Im told: Yeah, so weve been watching it for TWO days trying to get the issue to replicate but we cant. So youre free to come pick it up whenever is convenient.It was then that I began to get aggravated, for a few reasons:A.) I was told at the end of the previous week that they were waiting for parts to come in and that I should hear from them by Tuesday. This, as I think is reasonable, led me to assume that there had been some diagnostics ran on the monitor. That was not the case, apparently.B.) I did not receive a call on Tuesday as I was told, nor did I receive any follow-up on Wednesday, and lastly I did not receive the phone call Wednesday evening like I was supposed to. So I had to, consistently, badger the shop to get ANY INFO on my monitor that they had now had for over a WEEK.C.) Im now being told that there werent any parts ordered, no diagnostics ran, and that they have only been working with it for TWO DAYS. Meaning, they did NOT start anything UNTIL Tuesday (02/02/21). Which means I was misled on the phone the week prior, and have been given the run around.I arrive at the shop, and go to the back to pick the monitor up. The young lady gets the attention of one of the techs who I have a conversation with that goes something like this: I ask about any diagnostics or tests ran on it, and his response is: No, weve had it plugged in for two days with the HDMI CORD and cant replicate the issue. To which I reply, Okay, and did you test it with the display port cable I left? He says no. I say Well I left the cable for a reason. The issue isnt occurring with HDMI cords, just the display port. To which he says Oh, I didnt know that. But usually if its a panel issue then it will happen regardless of which cord.A fact that I didnt need explained to me. Because the issue COULD very well NOT be a panel issue. BUT perhaps one like... a faulty DISPLAY port? Which they didnt even consider testing because incorrect assumptions and LITTLE effort were made. Overall, the experience has been awful and incredibly frustrating. I ultimately wasted a week of my time, 2 hours worth of gas, and $27.00 on diagnostics which only consisted of them misleading me and watching the monitor screen for two days. No cord testing, port checking, nothing to test the functionality of any parts.

I know where NOT to ever go again.

This is place is organized crime at its finestDont even consider getting your electronics repaired here. Better off just buying a brand new device! Dont even count on them to sell you the exact replacement part because theyll sell you something thats close to the original part to make money, but could be a more expensive repair on your behalf. My Samsung Smart TV stopped working out of nowhere, so I brought it to them and they figured out whats wrong! I was able to enjoy watching on my tv again (and I only paid a reasonable amount!)

I called to see if I could get a quote for a tv repair and the woman who answered the phone was very rude. I informed her that the screen is broken and she said they don’t fix screens and I said it’s not broken from the outside and she said “it’s the same thing we can’t fix it, bye”. So rude and unprofessional.

So far so good! Small deposit... which comes off the bill. Excellent service. These guys are friendly and knowledgeable in a lot of different electronics. My TV went out and I had an estimate and info on repairs needed within a few hours. Can’t wait to get my tv back in a few days!!! Highly recommended.

Nick fixed my TV before the end of the day and that TV is as good as new. Moral of story: if I am dumb enough to buy another Samsung in the future, I will definitely go back to Nick if/when it dies. A true professional that really knows his stuff. Best repair experience I have had in the city!

Very unprofessional. I was told over the phone that projector lamp is available (lamp and housing) and will take not more than 10 mins to install. They took the projector in the back office and no response for 30 mins. I complained to the owner, he went to the back officers check, came back asking for the housing for the lamp???. I told him I was told 249 includes everything and he went on saying it just for the bulb. This is not the first time I am replacing projector lamp, it normally comes as singleUnit with housing. Also, they have sign “No Mask No service”. However, none of the staff or tech wore any mask and we’re getting to my face, I had to step back multiple times. Also, few clients were not wearing any mask and I business was ok. This has been my worse experience. When I complained and told them that I will post it on google. I was offered $10 not post reviews on google. Wow! . They also claimed to be BenQ authorized supplier, I doubt it. I sent complain to Benq as well.

Lack luster. I took them a Pioneer quadrophonic reciever. They were able to get the bad channels working, but didnt touch the scope despite quoting me for it. I took it back. Nick said they would handle it at no charge. The scope needed a bulb replaced. It doesnt work at all now. They have turned a valuable receiver onto a paperweight

This place is amazing!!!! My husband and I came here to fix a customized circuit board and found this gem of a place on google (since we’re from out of town). The owner and ALL staff were so attentive and responsive to our urgent needs. We ended up needing to wait for a part to arrive from a nearby colleague, and the entire store welcomed us into their family. We were here during lunch time, and they invited us to eat their home cooked meal with them (umm... yum!). I can say for a fact, coming to this place and trusting their services to such an important fix, it was the best decision we’ve ever made. The staff are all incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. What an amazing experience- thank you!!!

Nick was awesome to work with. Our Samsung LCD randomly went out after a move and lengthy time in storage. Nick came to our house the day after we contacted him. He took the TV, fixed it, and returned it two days later. All at an affordable cost. Will recommend him every time!!! Cant say enough good things.

Ultra-professional and great at what they do. They were communicative & transparent on the phone about what would be possible/realistic with my relatively old PC, then met and surpassed those expectations when he managed to install a new OS onto my machine. They helped me out and did a great job. Friendly. Very quick to respond. Goes above and beyond.

I wish I could give zero stars. We had our television repaired at Atlas and paid $353.10. It went out in about seven months. We took it back and had to pay additional money for repair (same problem) because it was past the warranty. OK, so we paid an additional $215.42. Now, when we got it home after paying for the second repair, it went out in a couple of hours of watching. Both times we were told that the television would be like new. Im too frustrated to even look at anyone at Atlas Electronics. I do, however, know that we will NEVER use them again.

I would like thanks John for coming out and fixing my TV. Hes overall a great person and he does a great a great job. If something is wrong after repair he would make sure its done right. Took my TV in, paid for a diagnostic, went back to pick up was told it couldnt be repaired😞 took it to another shop same day and TV was repaired the very next day (free diagnostic too) and for some reason my speakers were missing per the 2nd repair shop. Went back to retrieve them from Atlas, no one had answers to why they they were ever removed. He say they have no use for them but why werent they replaced when I came after my TV they couldnt fix🤷🏽‍♀️ anyways they did fix my friends TV which is still there til he pays lol Im not spending my money, Ive already lost 25 bucks (really 50 cause I paid for his diagnosis). And plus Ive paid for mine to be repaired

I had been getting bulbs there for 6 years up until a few months ago. Always happy with the service as well.That changed when a bulb I bought from them last year didnt last a year. Bought another, that one lasted 2 months. Hadvitbreplaced under warranty. The next one lasted a month.They replaced that one as well, but told me they wouldnt replace another unless I brought my TV in to be looked at.Asked the girl behind the counter why the bulbs werent lastingShe sugested the fan might not be working properly.So, I googled and found.the most common reason was dust clogging the fan. I took the back off, cleaned everything out with compressed air. The bulb still went out in a month. I had no way of getting.the tv downtown so when the bulb went out completely, I had no choice but to buy another one. Then another, then another.In the past, the bulb would slowly slowly go out or just crack from over heating.The last 3 bulbs I bought from them went a couple of shades darker in a second. SomI suspected their bulbs.I called a local repair place that.offered pick up and return after servicing. I explained what was going on andvwhere I got the bulbs.He suggested it was cheaply made bulbs and told me of another store. I took the old bulb to them and he said it was poorly made with less mercury causing them to fail sooner and suggested that seller probably sold them to get more business by convincing customers something was wrong with the tv. My DLP is so old, parts are impossible to find so they would probably suggest I buy a new one, keep the old one and sell the parts. He said that the bulb was so poorly made, it was not sending the correct info to the fan causing it to over heat.The bulb I bought from the new shop has lasted more than 3 month with no issues and I no longer smell a burning smell by the vent, and I hear the fans working properly for the first time in 6 months.

Personable, qualified staff, prompt service with great results. Similar to the Dentist, I hope never to need them again, but if necessary, I will return without reservation.

They fixed my USB stick after I accidentally smashed into it and ripped a pad off the PCB (so it had no power and couldn’t be read). They had it back to me and working within an hour. Had my television for about two years and then the sound suddenly cut out. I did some research online and figured I could buy the part and try to fix it myself as the warranty was already voided on it but decided to go with Atlas Electronics instead. I am so impressed with Atlas TV repair!! I read the reviews and unfortunately called during their non business hours. I was pleasantly surprised by a quick return call and plans for the repair to be completed on the same day!!! The tech was personable, knowledgeable, quick and affordable. The best part is that you do not have to lug your television to a shop and wait weeks and weeks, they will come to you. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this experience was.

Be careful with this people. I took my TV for a checkup because it was blinking 7 times on the power light then after 2 days they called me with a crazy amount to repair the TV $350 so I decided to take TV home and find somebody else but before I loaded in my car i plugged the TV and i noticed 8 blinks instead of 7 so I ask the girl on the counter and they didnt give me an answer what happened..so I feel like they took parts off my TV that was the reason they quoted me that crazy amount because they knew I will not agree to pay that for the repair. So please be careful specially with big TVs . I dont recommend this place. They are not honest.

Fast, friendly, professional service with reasonable prices. I had an issue with my Samsung TV and he was able to come out to have a look and fix it the same day. Highly recommend.

Service was super fast...very nice pricing for part and install. The guy helped unload and reload our TV in the rain and cold. He even showed us how to change the part so next time we do not have to bring the TV again. Awesome awesome awesome place...highly recommend for any and all electronic problems!!!!

Atlas Electronics, Inc. was super nice and super responsive- they were a pleasure to work with. My washing machine was leaking and the technician spent plenty of time troubleshooting and making sure the problem was fixed and that I was better informed about how to use my machine. They work with you as a valued customer and I believe them to be reasonably priced for all services I needed. I especially appreciate their directness and competency with all technical issues.

FANTASTIC!! My 9-year-old SAMSUNG had no picture or sound. I was asked to bring the TV in, but when I told him it was too cumbersome, he came to my house. Brought parts, but they werent quite right, so he took the TV with him at about 10:30 and returned the TV fixed at about 3:00. I couldnt be happier. Reasonable price, too. They were unable to repair my TV(years ago). Owner gave me a good deal on a larger TV they repaired, this TV has performed flawlessly for years so I know they do great work.

This place is amazing, very professional, and direct caring service that will save you lots of time and money. I would go here 100 times more before I go waste my money and time at places like geek squad from best buy where everyone who works there are clueless!

This is one of the best experiences Ive had as a consumer in many years. The owner/proprietor/electronics expert for Atlas Electronics charged me much less than I expected for the jobs and performed both with great care and precision. He put in extra time to solve some tricky problems he encountered but did not charge extra for the added effort. I highly recommend Atlas Electronics!

VERY RUDE. I called this morning & asked the gentleman on the phone about setting something up for my screen repair. He was extremely rude and yelled We dont repair screens and hanged up the phone.Your website should be updated, if you dont do screen repairs, dont advertise it!!! Whether you’re experiencing audio issues or you need repairs to your television screen, call us and we can give you the assistance you need. Additionally, a friendly voice answering your phones wouldnt hurt.

Our Samsung 4k curved TV that had a line so week it over to the guys at Atlas. Great first impression with spacious and well organized lobby with plenty of seating. They changed a bad wire in about 45 minutes. The repair price was a fair $95 including labor. We will definitely be back with our turntable to get fixed too.

Sam was able to fix a broken circuit on my HD Samsung TV in less than 30 minutes and even helped carry it back to my car. Amazing professional and a stand-up guy. Excellent service.

Couldnt ask for a better experience. Well organized shop that doesnt look like much but the Atlas team are obviously the real deal. They were honest and transparent about the Sony Projector I brought in for repair. His turn around was 24 hrs and they couldnt have been nicer or more helpful if he tried. Honesty and expertise with electronics are second to none. 10 out of 10 times I will use again...

Great experience from people who clearly knew what they were doing!! I have now taken in two TVs to be fixed by Atlas Electronics and both times the technicians took time to diagnose the issue and contact me about what needed to be done and the best course of action. BOTH times I had a TV that worked liked new in 24 hours!!!

Atlas Electronics repaired my Epson projector in 1 day and saved me over $1000. It needed a new ballast and power supply. Very prompt andprofessional service. I would definitely use this service again. Very much impressed.
