This is nice store where you can get any kinds of African foods both fresh and cooked ones.
African store with a difference. Well organized and good sales representatives
If I can rate this store a 0 I will do that. we bought a bunch of stuff from here yesterday(07/17/2021) turns out that the yams are bad, went back there to return it only to find out that they close on Sunday, but the website says open. we don’t live in that neighborhood and I’m so upset that they are over there there selling rotten and spoilt yams to the public. The store was quit dirty and they had flies everywhere. Please be careful of the food you buy at this place for health concerns.
Always a good place to get african fast food. I don’t know about the sausage rolls though, they need to stop making it haha
Great food, neat, nice customer service. But I suggest they improve on their pastries... The puff puff, meat pie, egg roll, chicken pie are not tasty at all!!!! The meat and chicken pie are potato pies. Pls do better. Thanks
The best challenge to Southwest Market in Garland!
The products are very affordable, the food are off the chain. Greatly appreciated 😊
I highly recommend this Nigerian store. I went there for the first time last week and I must say, I was impressed, putting it mildly. Its definitely a welcome alternative to Southwest Farmers Market. I have been in the Dallas area for some years now and I was kind of getting tired of Southwest Farmers and I needed an alternative. Well, I found it in JCT. Dont get me wrong, I still like Southwest Farmers and its bigger and has more offerings than JCT but I still think JCT is better, cleaner and more organized. JCT also has many good offerings. I definitely recommend their fresh fish pepper soup with a side of white rice or pounded Yam and I recommend trying their meat pies when available. Let me also recommend their JCT Agege Bread because it tastes good. I am definitely a regular customer now. 👍
Delicious and affordable food. Nice little place to shop too.
Of all the African oriented grocery stores, this is by far the cleanest. The owner is very Respectfully and his staff has great customer service skills. They also have the best cow meat in my opinion.
Nice place, too tight..need expansion fast!
They are very respectful and responsive. Good place to go.
I touched base with my naija roots here
Need better customer service.Have to look for what you you need for long period of time.
Waiting in line to check out for over 30mins, this store is fast losing it, not the same store i used to know. Whatever happened to all your Staff??Its horrible!!!! Wont be visiting in a long time...
African grocery store and food condiments. They give good customer service,Africa foods from, Ghana and Nigeria could be found there
Non seconds.. Everyday spot for Africans and the rest for decent meal and African stuffs👌
Great Great place to get all of your favorite Afro/Nigerian Dishes. No wait. Quick Quick.
Been shopping here for a while and its always a great experience. Store stays clean, well arranged, and workers always ready to help.I like the owner, he always interacts with his customers, myself and him crack a joke or two everytime he is on ground when I go in there and its always a great vibe, with some good music that reminds you of home playing in the background.
My best african store. It has all types of african recipes. I highly recommend this place
Good for Africa foodstuffs shopping.
No posted prices and the cashier thought he was slick charging whatever. I will not be back.
Went to this store for the first time. First impression was nice. Good music, good smelling nice. So now, I reach the register to pay and the boy cashier says to me you have to spend a $5.00 minimum and I say okay just add another bread. Jokingly, I say, “ you know in America we use plastic sorry I don’t have cash. He say to me what you think we not in America, I know we use plastic. Okay, so then I go on to tell him in rich people neighborhoods there is no such thing as a minimum, you can swipe your card for $0.25 and it’s only in black peoples neighborhoods that we have to pay a minimum. The stupid boy argue with me no that’s not true the Chinese charge a minimum charge to. I say to him, I said where I live in the wealthy neighborhoods there is no minimum. All this to say don’t argue with someone in there own country about how things go. I’m trying to teach and educate you. That would be like me coming to Nigeria and telling you something about your country. I would looks so stupid. Just as you did.......
Good selection of African soups and snacks but the staff could be abit more friendly. Always seem grumpy.
I like this store, guy who I believe owns it is nice as can be and it is now my regular cigarette store.
The visit was nice...l found what l needed and checked out...very nice people...working there...
Good customer service and African food stuff.
I got everything I needed to make spinach and Egusi stew here. They have great prices on smoked turkey. I like that they will cut it for you. Because you cant really find butchers at American grocery stores that will do that for you. They also have great ready made food here as well. Bofrot, jollof, etc. Great store!
Me like the atmosphere, smells nice inside, the cashier guy tho his very customer service friendly. I wont forget how they gave away Christmas non alcohol wine and I got the last one as soon as I walked in the last bottle was handed to me, it was very refreshing just what I need at that time. Keep up the good business work. Please i need abedic that is the only vitamins my kiddos enjoy having
Delicious puff puffs 😍
It has Local African food. They sell one of the best Jollof rice in Dallas. Though the premises is quite small, checking out is faster.
Yummy food
Everything you need when it comes to African food
Great customer service
O boy. Their peanuts is second to non. this is home away from home.
I purchased the hollow rice and it was the most terrible rice I ever tasted in my life, it was burned, dried out and old. This is the second time I have bought bad food here. The first time I returned the food and the clerk gave me major attitude and told me dont come back becz they food smelled bad. The people are very rude and their customer service is just non existent.
The service there is thé best and i lové it.Thanks
Needs work
Great place for west African cuisine ingredients
I used to buy the West African food from this store. I like the food but l can never go there because of the rude customer service I often get. The lady who is currently at the register is a mistake, very unfriendly. This is a great store but the owner needs to train these workers.
I l love this restaurant. The food is always served while hot and delicious. I am a satisfied customer.
I love going to local ethnic markets to try out different cuisines and to see the culture.JTC bless has all of the above, everything you need to make a proper African stew, the employees were very helpful! Very “homly”feeling, will visit again.
Well organized but the cashiers are too slow
Always good vibes ☺️...
Wonderful store. Great prices. Smell like fresh fish market but its next door😎.
The best jollof rice at a good price 4.99
African/Nigerian store that sells both cooked and uncooked food items. Customer service is always top-notch and store is usually very clean. Prices on Yam, bell pepper, plantains are often slightly higher than the other African/Nigerian stores around it.
I hate that they dont have a bathroom for customers. They have one but its not open for customers. You should treat your customers well and make the bathroom accessible to them.
Good food, clean environment and nice music!! Will definitely go back .
Neat, well arranged. Decent food environment. Good place to shop

The current manager is very rude and ignore customers when there is an issue. The staff also don’t care if their service is bad.
The guy that sells meat is such a rude and manner-less person, i dont know why such a person should be allowed to attend to customers!!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!
Love going to this store to get a West Africa experience right here in Dallas
I know they r good in jollof rice and some others but d yam and egg is zero cause d egg is not even showing, just d pepper and d onions are showing and its too hot,i bought 2packs of yam and egg yesterday but didnt enjoyed it atall, too sad
The music is always too loud and cashiers and not friendly. Always have nasty attitude and very rude arrogant set of people. The food are decent.
The owner has a terrible attitude towards customers. I have seen his rude behavior on two occasions and the most annoying part is that the owner does not listen or like constructive feedback. A customer advised the owner insistence on opening and counting meat pies, fried fish and bean cakes. I gave him a more hygienic alternative, the owner reply - If you dont like it, you can leave or not buy. This guy needs some lessons on customer service. He was rude to my friend the first time we both shop at his store. If you value customer service, avoid this place, and one last thing he often makes bad and unwelcome jokes.
Great African store
Ok
If you good African ready made foods, they are simply ur choice. Sweet food they have there.
My husband shops here for food.
Very rude owner and employees very very rude and the owner says nothing the owner will even in sult the customer very poor customer service
Owner insisted on recounting 6 balls of beancake (akara) at checkout. Took offense when myself and two other customers suggested alternatives to such an unhygenic practice. Obviously does not handle feedbacks well.
We bought a box of yam. They did not allow as to check. we got home to check they were all bad. we took it back and Ogu said they do not refund for yams. the box of yam is $68
Theyre rude, unprofessional and no form of customer service even with the fact that youre buying from them to help their business grow. They dont smile, almost like theyre doing you a favor by selling to you. Jeeezzz!!! The owner of this place needs to send his team for a formal training well, they dont bring their attitude from Nigeria to come work in America. When you go to Walmart and the likes, I bet u are served nicely. Im only giving this business a one start, cos theres no way not to give a star at all.
One thing I love about this store is how neat it is.. its very rear for African stores
All your African food needs is here
Good african store with lots of shopping variety
They are out of snacks *Fish rolls* all the gad damm time. Can the management take this issue seriously. Like they’re are really slacking.
