I arrive at Krogers craving some crackers with these delicious beans of mine and to my dad surprise. These mfs are closed…well not really closed. A woman is standing outside telling customers they’re closed.I asked the woman why are they closed early and her reply was she doesn’t have anyone!!!! I’m assuming she was a manager so I believe she could’ve checked out the few ppl that were there.Just lazy as a mofo…I hope she needs crackers one day and the store is closed
This has to be one of the worst Krogers Ive been to. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt at first but now I just have to write a bad honest review. I normally like Kroger but this location is no good. First off, they hardly ever have any carts and its very frustrating when I have to spend time hunting one down in the parking lot. Second, the last time I came to this Kroger, I went to the check out line (one lane was open) and the cashier was laying her head down on the counter (so unprofessional). I set my stuff up on the belt to let her know I was there. I understand people having rough days but goodness that was awful. Today, I bought some tortillas and I got home only to see that they were moldy. I went back and had to exchange them. They made it right and let me swap out my tortillas but goodness gracious. They need to hire better workers. This Kroger is just terrible.
Don’t ever get balloons at this Kroger! They don’t know how to blow balloons, every balloon was different size. The ladies were soooo rude because I told them how I want the balloons sets to be mixed. The service was awful. Hope someone gives these girls a proper training, so they don’t scare away all other customers.
The first time in the Fresh Fare Market Concept. This is an awesome concept with excellent selection of whole foods and meals ready to eat. They have a sushi, salads with tremendous selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. The beer and wine selection is huge also. I wish they had one of these concepts near my home in Georgia. Its worth the visit.
So this was my go to for groceries because it is close by my home but today was it for me. First off poor customer service ! The people standing outside of the store hassling you before you go in is just beyond me.self checkout cashiers are not professional at all. Whenever I am there I hear profanity and it’s just unnecessary. Now the StarBucks counter. This is what the review is really about. So this one Lady who name is Jackie works the 6:00 am shift. When I tell you she is just lazy ! Whenever I go no matter the time or day she always has a reason for not being able to make something. It’s 8 am I would like a frappe but instead she tells me well I can’t because we are out of this and that so I can do a refresher ! Lady ! No one wants a refresher at 8:00 in the am ! At least not me. Whenever I go in later in the day when she’s not there…no matter what I request on the menu they are able to provide me with what I want. I’m so done with this location all together.
Went to the bathroom at this location and it was probably the most disgusting bathroom I’ve ever seen. One stall was out of service, the one I used was out of tp (which was discovered after the fact) which explained the paper towels all over the floor. I looked in another stall and it was stuffed with paper towels people had tried to flush. It was very apparent that bathroom hadn’t been cleaned in a while. So disgusting. Tried to talk to a manager and no one was available.
Normally I have no issues with Krogers but this time going in at 2130 to pick up three items. No cashiers available despite the fact there were five young ladies standing around doing nothing useful but playing on their cell phones. Bianca the manager, when asked twice, for a cashier said there was only self serve. I asked for a discount since I was doing my own check out and bagging. She looked at me and simply walked away to put bags out on the closed lanes....young lady of no practical use. Elisa, one of the young ladies I asked to help me said she was not allowed to scan the items for me - I thought that was their job in the store. I asked her a second time and she said, Im not your maid. I responded with stating I knew that but that I needed assistance with scanning the items. At no point in time did anyone of them stop to consider asking about a possible handicap. What a shame this site employs inconsiderate and extremely selfish people. I will recommend to everyone I speak to that they no longer shop at this location.
I’m going to sound like a major Karen here, but this place warrants a Karen-like review. They are severely understaffed, mostly due to Covid/people not wanting to work. With that said, there are numerous grocery stores nearby that are better stocked, have carts, and don’t have homeless posted up around the clock right outside the front. The checkout lines at this location are hands down the worst I have ever seen. It’s like six flags 90% of the time. It seems this location has zero management presence at all. The one bright spot is that the cashiers are generally friendly, but aside from that this place is an absolute dumpster fire. Employees clearly don’t care for the most part, but honestly why should they? They aren’t paid enough, and the GM is never present dealing with all the issues stated above. Go to Kroger on Mockingbird or even Cedar Springs. It’s not worth the frustration of the hot mess.
Sick and tired of kroger and its sub par produce! If its not rotten bagged salad or fruit from the fresh produce area its something else! Tonights winner is rotten cheese. Stopped in on the way home from work picked up a few bits and pieces to make lunch for tomorrow and when making my sandwiches opened up the cheese and this is what greeted me! Rank! You guys need shutting down by the health inspector! Your going to make someone really sick!
Very disappointing store. Items are always running out, store is a bit dirty, and very few employees here. To be honest, this is a disappointing store compared to other locations
This Kroger never has any carts! 3 stars cause I love the food in the bakery. But I haven’t been able to properly shop at this Kroger in months because there’s never a cart.
I have been doing online order pickup for the past 2 years with little to no issues, but as of late my orders have been cancelled due to low staff past two orders to be exact. If it is due to the amount of groceries then say so and be honest your staff is lazy. Have a manager call me next time not some teenager who can hardly talk due to being nervous.
Went late at night to find some tajin and could not find it anywhere. An employee named Johnny Hamilton helped me find it. He’s awesome!
The fruit is always bad. Food is spoiled a lot of the time.
Have fun chasing your own carts. Everytime I shop here there is no cart available when I walk inside. The grocery itself has a lot of variety compared to Krogers in the suburbs.
Giving this rating based off the Kroger pick up where you order online and have someone else do the shopping for you. I have done it a few times and always end up disappointed. When ordering produce the shopper will grab stuff that is past ripe and very soon to spoil. They sold me a steak that was 2 days expired, brown, and clearly inedible. It also seems the items you need most are always missing or “out of stock” (ex eggs and chicken breast) even when substitutions are allowed. In addition I have had items that I was charged for but never actually received. There is no where to give a review on your order or get your money back. Will be going elsewhere from now on.
I like shopping at this location because their selection is considerably better than many other grocery stores in the area. The staff is always engaged and friendly as well. My only complaint with this location is the congested parking lot. I’m not sure if it’s due to poor designing, or if it’s just unavoidable due to heavy traffic in that area, but it’s always a dodgy experience in the lot, except when I visit during off peak evening hours.
Terrible customer service ad long check out lines. I get that staffing is tight but this is ridiculous.Update: waited 20 mins for check out. I was told they had no more workers. I will not be coming back. Rude customer service.
I pulled up to the cliclist pick up and checked into the app. Someone called me saying it won’t be ready because they only have two workers. I asked when will it be ready and they informed me that they can’t say any particular time. I asked can I come in and they said they can credit the money back onto my card. This would not work because the money I had to get groceries is all the money I have. They have inconvenienced me and my son and I are super hungry. I don’t understand why I can’t just come in and get my groceries without me having to go through a line and repaying for it . I understand the worker shortage but they could have informed me of this before I drove down to the store with little to no gas before my pay day of August 31.
We have just left the Medical district Kroger which we always drop at least 100 bucks each visit. The store has gotten worse and worse each visit. Mary our checker on several visits is always rude. Today none of the restrooms were functioning with out of service signs on all doors. Not to mention they always out of stock on everything. Step up your game and get some new management and employees to better run your store.
CHECK THE CHEESE BEFORE YOU BUY IT!!! I bought my cheese from this kroger (yes I checked the expiration date on it before i bought it and it was still in date.) And the cheese had black mold all over it. This is not only gross but unsanitary. Im afraid of checking the other items i bought today. Beware of the cheese before you buy it!
This Kroger was actually surprisingly very well kept. Out of all the Krogers in this area, this location has the best ready-to-eat food which is something you never see at Krogers. Very convenient location, cant complain.
Very nice people and it has everything that you may need for you house
This store has gotten progressively worse. There are never enough checkers. Almost every time I go in there, there is only one person checking groceries and the line is backed up half-way down the store. Over half of the self-check stations are either out of order or turned off. No checkers but plenty of employees in the store shopping for people blocking aisles with their oversized cart. This used to be the best Kroger in the area but it is now managed by clowns who just dont care.
Excellent sushi :-) courteous service
Its trash by employersOne of the worst places, especially the staff, there is no respect
I come here bc of the location and I do feel safe coming here by myself. The store is large and not so cramped like on ovr on Cedar Springs rd. Have seen police cameras to.
Awful service, I had a pick up order I wait for 30 min and they never showed up with my order
Lines are long and only one real checkout was open on the day that I visited.
May 30 2021time 10pm sun night even with the blue police lights shining unbove and the security guy or women i feel very unsafe the guys rounding up the grocery carts taking a 30 min break wheres the manager very unprofessional in any job you would have been wrote up or fired on the spot.sevral carts all around the parking lot.
Nice crisp, and as equally fresh.
ALL RESTROOM OUT OF ORDER. CUSTOMER SERVICE HORRID!!!
Correy in the self-check out area is so awesome he put up with our inability to properly use digital coupons with such a great attitude and was bouncing between customers making sure they were all taken care of, talk about taking customer service above and beyond! You rock, Correy!
Absolutely horrible quality produce but this location carries a wide variety of products. Go elsewhere to purchase meat and veggies.
Wow. the place very clean, the friendly people, and things in order. the prices are accessible and the corridors wide. I get a very good experience in my purchase in this place. I bought a tuna sandwich and juice.
DO not buy Meat here. Second time iv trashed steak from this place. Its not fresh. You would do better shopping at Walmart. And thats just sad.
This Kroger has the biggest and best selection of everything I need. Always. The deli selections are nice, fresh and tasty. They have a better selection of fresh vegetables and fruit. Even better than The Farmers Market.
The stores itself its fine but when you have unkind people untaught how too talk to people are that people are the reason they have a job in the first place because if one comes to the store they wont need you to work for them
Five stars for the staff who work at this Kroger location. More specifically, Im writing to express my appreciation for one employee named Terry. She is the bright spot of my day whenever I shop here. Miss Terry always asks how Im doing in a way that shows she cares. She remembers little details from our previous interactions and often asks about my wife who shops with me most mornings. I didnt realize how much I missed her until she wasnt there one week. I thought something happened to her or maybe she moved and was pretty worried. Her coworkers reassured me that she was just on vacation and would return soon. Sure enough, she was back a week later, refreshed from vacation.I always like to recognize people who do an outstanding job at their work. Her attitude brings a lot of joy to customers and the people around her. Even though our interactions are short, she is able to make a big impact on me and brighten my day.If we could have a whole store of Terrys this Kroger would be packed to the BRIM with happy people who want to spend all of their money.Hoping this note makes its way to the store manager / general manager since Im not sure how else to deliver it. Keep up the great work!
There is a WM much closer to my apt, but I decided to try Kroger based on some poor test results from the WMs house brand(s) meat products. I was impressed the most by Krogers wider isles and open spaces. To be fair, the WM near my apt is not a full superstore, but they tried to cram as much as they could into a space that isnt quite big enough for the purpose. The Kroger is groceries only; this gives them more room in the space available. I have only been there once and am not used to the layout of the store; the way things were grouped was kinda confusing, hence 4 stars...
I absolutely love this grocery store. Fresh veggies and meats. I shop here at least twice a week
Ripe bananas! Fresh everything!
First class, full product line, flagship store. If Kroger offers it, this property has it.
DO NOT CHOOSE THE PICK UP OPTION FROM THIS LOCATION. They are extremely slow and the service is terrible. My pickup time was for 8pm, which was initially changed. I waited an hour to receive my groceries. Plus, most of the items listed on the website are out of stock. If an item is not in stock, then dont list it online. When the person gave me the receipt, she didnt tell me most of the items were not in stock. My total order was $145, with 11 items missing. Next time, Ill just stick with Sprouts or Target, I can run in and out and get my groceries quicker with better service.
I was in there yesterday and an employee (Samantha) took time out to help me find what I needed. I always have great customer service here.
Great experience at this location every visit ! Quailty fresh vegetables and fruits all the time. The Organic selection has a wide variety to choose from on a consistent bases. The employees are professional and friendly.
This store is always exceptionally clean and well stocked. There are closer grocery stores to my apartment but I go out of my way to come to this location. The employees are also extremely friendly and helpful.
When in Dallas always try to get what we can that we cant in okc.We are from Houston, so we get what we can n Texas when we go.
No the best experience there one employee was rude and was not respectful with the way responded. With my question
Not the best experience there was not a clean store very disappointed with the employees
This is an awesome store! The staff is great from the moment I entered the store everyone of them greeted me with eye contact. and were actually knowledgeable about products. Plus for a rainy day the store was incredibly clean. I will be going to this location from now on! Good bye fiesta
Good selection, great deals, and friendly staff. Just gets a little crowded at times.
Beware of covid temp hires. For my safety and the safety of other customers as well as grocery store workers, I, like so many other people have opted for online shopping with curbside pickup using Kroger’s ClickList service. It’s understandable demand has skyrocketed due to the pandemic and reasonable for them to be in urgent need of workers. But these temp new-hires in plain clothes are taking a dump on the meaning of customer service. But what do they care, they know they’re in high demand and they won’t last there much longer. I’ll go back to shopping there whenever I see things start to settle again. Thankfully there are a dozen other options. Peace.
If I could give a 0 rating I would. I was very concerned about the status of the restroom which normally tells you what the store quality would be. So if it was not bottled are pre package I would not utilize it. No toilet paper in all 3 stalls and the place look like a it had been abandoned. Youve got to do better Kroger youre a better store than this!
Love this store. Especially the Floral Department. Mr. Dean is a fabulous floral designer. I purchased a basket that represented the Thanksgiving season. It is beautiful! I cant wait to see what he does for Xmas. 🤗
I come in here every Sunday morning to do my grocery shopping for the week. This location has apparently decided they do not want to have the smaller baskets in a decent quantity so I have to scour the parking lot for one of them. Then I go in to find the isles blocked because lunchtime on a Sunday is now the time time they restock the shelves! I started coming to this location because of these same issues with the one around the corner but I think I’m going to start driving all the way to Tom Thumb instead.
Easily the best grocery store in the area. The idles are wide like suburban superstores. Check out lanes are much better managed than other best by grocery stores. I recommend this Kroger highly over the Cedar Springs Kroger for its selection, bigger isles and customer service.
Can I just say how impressed I am with the staff here? All of the employees are so nice to me (probably because I have a 1-year old) but they are all so friendly when I check out, and while I was getting out of my car today with my daughter, the guy who was collecting carts separated one from the pack and wheeled it over to me so I wouldnt have to juggle so many things walking in. I think they have very fair prices, and offer great deals on their meats and other products. Go Kroger!
AWFUL STORE!!! In this time of social distancing places, they changed everything around. People have to wander around looking for items to buy. Even the employees dont know where things are. Ant killer and roach traps are now the automotive supplies at KROGER. Really safe to spend 20 minutes there instead of the usual 8-10.
Despite a borderline neighborhood (drunk bums laying in the parking lot), this is actually a really nice store. The variety is astounding, and the store was well stocked, great assortment of fresh produce, and had a great selection of prepared food and wine. There were plenty of associates to help while in the store. I wish I had a store like this near me.
I love the pharmacy love the management love the people that work there. There’s a guy in the seafood department name Bruce. He is a great person and also the people they works in the deli they are great as well I feel like they know me by heart when I come in there. because both departments knows exactly what I want and the pharmacy they go for and beyond to make sure that I and yes I take it personal I am very well taken care of that’s why I am very sad about the fact that I will be moving soon and will not be near this store keep up the great work and keep being great people
This Kroger has the biggest and best selection of everything I need. Always. The deli selections are nice, fresh and tasty. They have a better selection of fresh vegetables and fruit. Even better than The Farmers Market.
I love this store. It has a big produce section and keeps its shelves well stocked
Decided to try ClickList here. Literally waited AN HOUR AND A HALF for my groceries. Called multiple times only to be told “we’ll be right out with it” and no one would come. Spoke with a manager, he said he’d check and let me know... never updated me. It took me, as well as everyone else who was waiting, storming into the store in an angry hoard to actually get anyone to bring out any groceries. I honestly don’t think they had started shopping for my groceries by the FIRST time I called. Received a $20 gift card as apology, I asked the employee if I could use it on the current purchase since it wasn’t finalized. She said she’d check, took the gift card, and never came back. Plus I had to go back into the store to find things that they “couldn’t find a good substitute for”.... including chicken broth and kidney beans. They hadn’t even tried to find a good alternative and I immediately found these staples when I went in. If the employees had just been honest the first time I called, I could have cancelled the order and shopped myself and I wouldn’t even have been that angry. Instead I spend my entire evening in a Kroger parking lot.
They need to train their staff on accepting out of state IDs. Refused to sell me cider because they wouldnt accept my valid and legal ID (drivers license) because it was from out of state. It hasnt been an issue anywhere else Ive been. Cashier blamed the manager and the manager blamed the cashier. Nobody would tell me why they wouldnt accept it. Essentially made me feel like I was trying to break law. Wont be shopping here anymore. ✌️
Typical Kroger selection, with vegetables and meat selections slightly above par for freshness. The no-cost seasoning service for the fish is invaluable. There is rarely anyone at the bakery to help cut the baked bread. The lines are typically shorter than other Krogers. The carts are generally well stocked and kept in good condition. I rarely ever see expired merchandise.
I have to rate this store as my first one star ever. I was driving someone who wanted to stop in this store quick. While parked by the curb I was repeatedly harassed by one of your security guards. I eventually parked away from the store and was being starred by the security guard which I felt very uncomfortable. Fortunately my passenger came out and we got out of their as fast as we could. I will never shop there again. I hope this store can talk with this individual.
Disgusting store during a pandemic... no sanitizer to wipe carts, no carts in the entrance to even clean, trash all over the parking lot, broken jar of olives in the aisle the entire 45 minutes I was there, 1 cashier at checkout with a line 6 customers deep and the cashier was slow, rude and unfriendly... GROSS GROSS GROSS never coming back!
Rude staff. I used to come here every week, but the staff started to become unfriendly and rude.Employees who bagged my groceries would sometimes leave while bagging my stuff....which confused me because I didn’t know if they were coming back or not (most of the time..they didn’t).
Absolutely dismayed at how many folks have to wait in line during rush hour and they refuse to have their registers staffed! Hire more help to open these registers up!Im not paying the same price for self checkout or else Amazon Fresh can have my business!
Really like this Kroger. Used to go to the one on Cedar Springs, but when this one opened we were immediately hooked, even though it is about a mile farther away. The store is clean and feels very spacious. Prices seem fine to me, but Im not a comparison shopper between stores. Overall, the staff is friendly. Occasionally, your get a checker that is a little dower, but generally the checkout experience is very pleasant.
Omgoodness!! Love this location!! I only have a chance to stop by when Im in the area and its a pleasant experience every time!! Today flowers were marked down, samples of sushi and a special shout out to the seafood market for packing my fish for traveling!!! 🤗🤗
Fast and safe service via ClickList and Toshiba who helped with our delivery!
Great store to pick up groceries. Selection was good and check out was convenient. Overall, prices seemed reasonable. The parking lot can be somewhat of a challenge during busy times.
Customer service is becoming intolerable. Been coming here since opened and customer service desk always disappoints. No where closed signs or on break when ppl see you standing there for minutes. Not happy Krogers
Ive come here a few times and they seem to have what I need in stock. Some cashiers arent the most helpful or quick, however Ive never had a bad experience here. The store is busy but fairly clean.
Busy, but well staffed Kroger. They have a lot of produce on sake usually which keeps me coming back. Its busy though, always lines. The pharmacy is quick. They can have a prescription filled while you wait, which is rare these days.
I go in everyday to buy two sandwiches along with other stuff and they NEVER have any mayo packs and when you ask for SOME they give you one packet for 2 sandwiches... Also no plastic forks for their overpriced mac salads or the other pasta salads and its $5 for a snack size container ...Tom Thumb is way better grocery store for the money!!!
This was actually my favorite Kroger at I have been to. (Better that the one at Douglass). Great organic/natural selection, nicely organized, and friendly cashier (Mary on 1/09/19).
Alexis in the floral department is awesome. Asked for a modern last minute floral arrangement with specific flowers and some lemons. It was PERFECT! Thank you!
I enjoy coming to this location especially Sunday mornings. The employees are friendly and helpful, the store is clean and most of the time the items I need are stocked. I do dislike the small parking lot they have but thats why I go in the mornings. I like that they have self check out too.
The only thing that is good are the products,,, the people who are supposed to help you do not do it and they are super rude they do not care about the clients it is the worst attention to the client that there is a girl of color I treat myself very badly when I asked for help I obviously told her something that she doesnt have to treat me like that and an older Hispanic worker was kinder to me and he was just working in cleaning the change everything with his good attitude,, the bad thing the other employee did,
Check the expiration dates before you buy, because twice what Ive bought has been months expired. Thanks.
I love this place. It is the best super market I have ever between to in my life. They donate tons of food to help the homeless through the Cathedral of Hope. It is a fun place to people watch. The pharmacy is usually pretty fast,
There was no soap in the restroom and this is the bathroom closest to the deli. There were six homeless guys sitting in the restaurant seating area. There was another drying his laundry in the bathroo . Not going here ever again.
The Store gets high marks for cleanliness and thats where the good stuff stops. The bags of oranges had fruit in them that had gone to fermentation stage. Theres a beautiful produce selection, but no one to greet you.Asked an employee, standing right in front of the sausage, where the Jimmy Dean sausage was? She rolled her eyes and then I repeated my question, this time, in Spanish, and she walked over to me, and walked me to it, without talking to me. Very clinical. There was one manager wearing a purple shirt who passed by me a good 4 times, no Greeting.Heres the kicker. Got in line for checkout. I told the cashier I brought my reusable bags, and I would like him to use them. He just piled my items on top of the carousel until they started to fall off. I asked if he wanted me to pack my own groceries, and he made some line like he was going to do it after ringing all my items. For that level of service I could have done the dreaded self checkout.Overall, I would not recommend this location. Pretty to look at, but the employees were non-interactive. Not what I look for in a shopping experience in this field. Sad face emoji.
This Kroger is fantastic and has everything you could need from a grocery store. The employees who work here are also incredibly friendly and helpful. If possible, I highly recommend that you always go to this Kroger over the nearby one located on Cedar Springs.
It is within walking distance to Parkland Hospital. They have a salad bar along with a couple of other hot buffets to choose from. I could find anything I needed here.
Well food deli everything fresh looks good n clean the people at the deli an by the cakes n meat market area are very friendly... BUT! THE CHECKOUT! THOSE PEOPLE ARE NOT HAPPY AT LEAST TALK TO YOUR CUSTOMERS?? 🤗
We visited this Kroger a couple of times during our stay in Dallas, as it was just about a mile from our hotel. We bought fruit, carrots, soda, water, wine...and one night we bought one of the colossal chickens, garlic herb, for our dinner. It may be the best rotisserie chicken we have ever had, moist, and the flavors infused into the chicken. Of course, I thought I would kill myself waiting to get carrots and green beans at the fried chicken place. The staff moved slowly and inefficiently at the chicken place to say the least. Plenty of checkers to get people out....Overall a good grocery store experience.
Exceptional produce selection. Seafood & Meat dept., items well price especially when on sale. Enjoy visiting every three days walking in and being greeted with a smile throughout the entire store.
Was nice shopping there while it lasted and then on third trip I was RESTRICTED. Usu. I get stopped by the second time.Located near Parkland Hospital Train & Bus Station where the 29 and 409 south intersect.Trying to take that cart from a federal witness is a felony. Oh, yeah? Well, how many have you seen in your lifetime?Defamation if you call us names.Miscarriage of Justice stalking her!
Love this store. Always great service!!! Very well laid out store and extremely friendly staff.
