Is there anything so I can sing there it is my dream to be a singer and I want to go to AMV Music School. This is the best Music School in Dallas. Mr. Valero is an awesome guy and his son as well. They will take care everything that you can expect from.

To all the people judging this academy,I really don’t believe y’all.I come here a lot,and the teachers make me feel welcomed.Mr.Valero is an awesome teacher.So is Stephen.They are all educated and are respectful to everyone.I have came here since last year.And everyone is nice.Please stop saying this nonsense.If your honking about coming here,definitely do.This place is also a church.And the recitals are super fun,you get to be in bands too.I recommend coming here,because these teachers are good.

I have recently joined AMV. I was afraid of going to an academy due to the fact that I had never taken classes for an instrument. The first day I attended the academy I felt very welcomed and felt it was very family oriented environment. All the teachers are very respectful and do a great job to make sure each and everyone of their students receive the attention they need. All the staff is very attentive to your needs and are willing to work around your schedule to ensure that you get the best possible teaching not only for your instrument but also the course material. The teachers are well prepared for the job and Little by little I have seen the improvement when I play my instrument I enjoy being at the academy, it is like my second family. Mr. Valero and his family are an amazing family. You automatically see how much dedication, respect and passion they have for all of the students to master their instruments. I would definitely recommend this academy to anyone.

Owner doesn’t care about you as a Student he cares about MONEY .45 mins on theory class he will spend talking about his life and experiences and the remains on music theory .If you don’t believe me and have extra money to spend go and experience yourselfStay away from this clown

NICE SCHOOL. I DISAGREE WITH RUGY. I Took bass classes and the teachers are very good and I learned every style of music and how to read and write music. I could see at this school that teachers cared that I understood my work and for my fellow students as well. This school will teach you music so you can make something of it. Do not listen to only what you read, give it a chance and experience the classes for yourself. You are not always going to make everyone 100% happy, but they do their best and that is what counts.

Dont waste your money here. I used to work here as an instructor and store salesman. Valero only cares about money he could care less if you learn or not. For example he will send in a guitar teacher to teach a student when the teacher doesnt know how to play a single song on guitar and take advantage of beginners that way. I saw him do this all the time and talk about it and laugh at meetings we would have on Mondays, he only cares about getting your money. Hes good at faking who he really is he claims to be a man of god but I know him outside of church and you would be surprised how fake he is. Jesse Valero would curse and talk about women students in a sexual way and joke about doing stuff with their bodies, I mean cumon hes a pastor at a church and he talks like that?? You are better off taking private lessons. If you are a current student message me and il let you know how to tell if Jesse Valero is screwing you by giving you fake music teachers. Not only that but trust me you are way better going to guitar center to buy your music equipment he sells cheap equipment at sky high prices. like I said all he cares about is money. let me know if you have concerns or questions I can lead you to people who are true professional musicians who love what they do and actually play gigs unlike most people at AMV and will give you much better lessons than amv music

I attended AMV for over 5 years with my father. Please ignore top comments. I am not sure how long you all attended AMV, but to learn and appreciate music you need to commit to it for a long time. Mr.Valero along with his staff were an inspiration to us. He inspires our Hispanic community to dream big. He puts all his effort in helping his students succeed in music by having recitales and making us feel like real artists. The Hispanic community is not an easy one to inspire but AMV has done just that. Throughout the years you feel like your truly a family with your classmates. I specifically remember Mr.Valero having us do different exercises before going on stage that would help with the stress or nervousness. As a director he had no need to do that! He helps his students, hes available to his students, he gives classes among other AMV staff thank you for improving and caring for our Hispanic community. You have done an amazing job Mr.Valero thank you for creating a stronger bond between my father and I and thank you for giving me that motivation to think I could be so much more than I thought I could. This place sucks! As soon as i got there the owner kept on nudging me to buy everything i looked at. He expected me to buy the whole store or something.

The owner man is money hungry woman degrading belittle them to believe his way is smarter and even called me out my name he doesnt even know me personally.and he expects you to listen to him while he accuses you of accusations he kbows nothing about he also thinks his riches will go with him when he dies.a fool and his riches will soon part.amen for big is the road to destruction and narrow is the road to heaven.

It amazes me that this place still exists. Prices are too high, like double Amazon or Guitar Center. Here they take advantage of those people who know absolutely nothing about music and who do not dare to go to other stores to compare prices. Youll learn much more on any instrument with YouTube videos that are completely free — and many of them include music notation. You will never advance to an acceptable level with the instructors provided here. Whats more, you have better luck at community colleges like Mountain View or El Centro, where you can take comprehensive music theory courses on your preferred instrument from teachers who are professional and accredited for a good price. One more thing, dont sell them your used instrument. You can get at least four times more if you sell it yourself on Ebay or Amazon. I wish you good luck on your musical journey!Im surprised this place is still open. Prices here are about double what you pay for in Guitar Center or Amazon. This place disgusts me so much because theyre the type of business that takes advantage of those who dont know a single thing about music theory or dont shop around at all. Youll learn a hell of a lot more from Youtube videos where youll find plenty of tutorials on any song or genre — many come with tabs / sheet music. You wont even get to intermediate level with their fake ass instructors. I suggest going to any community college, and taking music theory classes in the instrument of your choice so that you can be taught by a real accredited music professional for a surprisingly good price. One last thing, never sell your used instrument here, they’ll give you crap and will sell it for many times that amount and like double the market value — just sell it on eBay or Amazon. I bought something worth 13 dollars in the guitar center here it is worth 25 dollars with taxa I got 30 dollars it is double De Caro that the guitar center returns to my money back and they did not return it is Trash
