10/10 will shop here again. Everyone here is just trying to have a good time. If youre on a budget they will accommodate 100% of the time. I spend $160 and it was well worth it. Kids loved it and I loved it.
Love this place. The people are nice (aint nothing wrong with being nice to a person FIRST as a customer). I didnt have much to pop fireworks but I had some of the best ones. But next year Im planning better and saving a lot of money. A month before the 4th Im buying a whole lot of fireworks. If you want to buy good ones I suggest you NOT to buy them in the LAST MINUTE. If so then take a day off from work and come early when it opens and buy them. And on the day of the 4th or day before, best to come back to their land by 4pm or 5 to get the best spot and to chill, eat, and relax.
Buy fireworks then drive on to their land to legally pop them. Been here a few times throughout the past few years. Worth the drive.
This was my second year going. Amazing fun plenty fireworks and space to set-up. Highly recommended.
This is a place to be on the 4th . You can BBq rides bikes of different kind and pop as many fireworks you want . Great for families .
Well worth the money great quality fireworks nice spots to shoot ova the river Ryan took care of me on the fireworks this will be for sure a return spot
Great place to go for before 4th of July fun! Staff explained to the best of their knowledge what each fireworks do. And only $20 to park and pop off! Went on 4th of July and had to turn around waaaay to many cars, Waited in 20 minute line and decided NO. But Great for the 3rd of july!!
I have been coming to this fireworks stand for over 10 years. They carry a large variety of fireworks large and small... The owner, and his seasonal staff are always awesome, and knowledgeable.
Wow! Very unp unprofessional, inappropriate and disrespectful staff are among this place. Called to get a better understanding of what to buy and guy answering told me to call back another day. Than went off yelling this, do you not fking hear me sir?!Unacceptable customer service if any at all. Do not buy from this place. Take your hard earned money elsewhereStay away from this place
So many hours of waiting on the line was 🔥 100🔥 heat 😩 😫 they should have at many locations
This place is great ! Went my second year with friends, but just a side note PLSSSS do not go to the restroom in the bushes LOL you will get poison ivy really bad, so just wait in line in the porta potties no matter how much you need to go 💀
My fam got hit twice by irresponsible fireworks users. My ankle was burned my someones exploding firework on the ground. If you go there to set off fireworks be careful, cause some people arent.
Really fun place to shoot fireworks. You can BOYB as long as they are plastic or cans. THEY DO NOT TAKE CARD APON ENTRY!!!!! You have to pay CASH! We did this yesterday and we got to the front snd they said we had to pay cash so we had to get out of line to find somewhere to get cash snd get back in line. It’s $20 from this last time I went but besides that it was still a lot of fun despite how crowded it gets. The line is totally worth the wait
Very nice people here first time coming here They have a little bit of everything.
This is it through you was happy my friend my friend had the most important day
Too high the employees didnt have no clue what he was selling smh wont be coming back
Line this place and people... Very nice
They didnt give me all my fireworks but sure charged me for them all but had good prices
Thank you Ryan, you were very helpful.
Very friendly folks. Knowledgeable, too.
This place was lit lol
Nice place to check out
Oh wee, will not come back here again! While the staff is friendly, and at least you can pop fireworks there, the lines were pretty long. you cant see what any of the fireworks do, and the setup is such that the fireworks are set up in a straight line, spanning multiple customer lines. So one cant see what they have more than a few spaces to the right and left. Pretty terrible setup.Worse thing is that its really trashy...the people are cussing everywhere and they act pretty rough. We ended up buying only about $30 worth of stuff (not even worth the cost) and leaving. We had planned to buy a few hundred, but going to Gainesville tomorrow instead even if that means driving for another hour.
I had fun I like it, but you have to get there early to avoid ridiculous lines and drivers, the Dallas Sheriff was present, but no fire department and it was really far out, no cellphone reception at all. The later it got, the more dangerous it was and the more reckless people where acting. Embers and shells falling everywhere. I got hit in the arm, my sons all over on neck, arms, shoulder, top of the head. A fire started in the bushes and as they where trying to put it out other people where throwing fireworks into the fire and around the people trying to put it out. It was fun, but I recommend getting there early and not staying after 10pm.
Great place to buy and shoot off your fireworks. It was our first time there and now thinking about making this a family tradition. Worth the money.
Honestly just talk and be nice, most times youll get a good deal on a bunch of stuff. BUT always REMEMBER to secure your stuff because you dont want your fireworks flying towards you, your car or others. If you cant find a brick to help, go find some old spent firework cakes and surround it, especially on the smaller cakes. But always remember be safe
Very long line... Going back today...
Great place to go to to let off your fireworks. A bit on the dangerous side but fun. Get there early to get a good place to park and sit. Overall experience was a++ with me. Definitely going back...
Expensive and extremely long lines.
I went to Palmers based on customer reviews. They spot off. When I arrived it was very organized as to where you park. Also, the lines were short because the service is excellent. The prices are very reasonable very happy as much as I did for about a hundred bucks. I will be returning. Thank you Palmers.
We went to Palmers for the first time last night 7-1-2020 and had a blast, the staff was super friendly and checked on us periodically to make sure that we were OK I highly recommend this place as it is safe and lawful for you to fire your fireworks you can camp out bring some food but such a great place and we will definitely be back thank you very much to the Palmer family for offering a place with such fun with your family!
They have what I want!
Okay, place outside the waiting in the heat
Very good prices
We go here every year for the 4th. Definitely try to come as early as possible if you want any hope of getting your car in and getting fireworks in a reasonable time frame. If you have small children you might want to leave early or park really far back- it gets really crazy close to the entrance and you might get hit with debris or get a minor burn if you’re not careful. Also it gets very loud which some kiddos might not like.
Good place
Loved it.
I have mixed feelings. Yes, it is nuts once you get out there and people are shooting fireworks all over the place. They have no regard for cars or people and its more than a little dangerous. But that also made it all kind of an awesome experience. There are plenty of secluded and safer places to park. I definitely recommend coming earlier in the day or going somewhere else to purchase fireworks as the lines are ridiculous. I feel like this could be organized a little better but we will still be back next year.
Cheap and the kids had the greatest time popping of our own fireworks. Lots of fun, we will be returning
We waited over an hour in line to purchase fire works. Were all excited as we enter and then Its like a war zone out there. Fireworks going off every second every 10 ft away from us. My friend went down to the ground after being struck by a fire cracker. She was cut in two places bleeding. My fiance felt a pop on the side of her face. We had to leave for safety. This place has to be more organized.
I was in and out fast. The staff really help you out to what you want. This will be my go to every year
Really Great Place to buy shoot off Fireworks. Reasonable pricing. Lots of space to chill and enjoy the Holiday! They definitely have a great selection and I definitely look forward to more fun times in the future.
We had a great time here with the kids. The prices were great and we shot our fireworks right on the property. There was plenty of room. Cant wait to go back k.
Asked for long sparklers but was given long firecrackers that have to be stuck in the ground on the same pink sticks as the sparklers. I am not sure if they were out and still tried to sell me those or not...I specifically said I’m in city limits so can only have sparklers but did not want the short ones. Wish we could have used the $30 worth of fireworks!
Great place to shoot fireworks. Bring your own or buy there with great prices. Enter from the right to turn right into the parking lot or dont bother.
Great year as always! *LOTS OF SPACE* You can park near a populated area or a more secluded one. With several lots your bound to find either or. We parked in a firework circle and even then we knew the dangers. We had fun!!! Yeah a couple artillery popped near us. But the visuals?!? Unique. We were tagged a bit by some but thats the experience. We had kids of varying ages and they were all excited and participating the whole time. Even when things got insane! **Fire Work Park** Im sure some people wanna file some paperwork lol If people are shooting at you purposefully. Defend yo self. Other wise. Normally everything knocks over. And people are too slow to learn. Great place. The wait sucks. Buy early.
Better than seeing fireworks in the city. Right in your face. Young man helped my husband put a tire on. Only thing I would suggest is people cutting in line getting there.
The most awesome place ever..take the kids ..take the family..bring your big spray..bring the grill ..put on your seat belt and enjoy..friendly..I love this place and Ill definitely be back
Its a good and enjoyable place to do fireworks. However, the prices are quite high. Plus, online it says free to fire if you buy from them. But they charged us 20 bucks anyways. I would recomend buying fireworks from somewhere else and then going here to shoot them off as the prices are more than double of some places.
I would have giving it a 5 star but being our first time going there i have too say this is the worst place to go like why do they let people drink and pop fireworks . There should be more security and better organization . too many people poping them in the wrong sections designated areas my wife got hit by a roman candle and shes pregnant . if this place gets more organized then ill give it a 5 star
This place was amazing well worth it. My kids even loved it. You get to pop your own plus see amazing views of other peoples firewfireworks. The people who work there were so n8ce and helpful. I believe I spoke to owner and he was also nice and helpful. I will come here again. Well worth the money. Coming for new years to buy.
Not safe for children, please dont be one of those parents bringing your kids here. There is a police presence and no violence that I saw but an outrageous amount of explosives is in the hands of very unprofessional and mostly drunk people following no safety precautions at all. Numerous incidents of large explosives being set off on the ground (instead of launching as intended) and striking people nearby with burning balls of powder and/or causing ear trauma. Also, only porta potties and no running water or sinks. If you are an adult happy to risk injury in order to be up close and personal with fireworks, then this might be worth the $20/car to get in.
Awesome. Family friendly. Portable bathrooms on site. They had food truck too.
Awesome experience as usual. Thank you for the great selection, prices and customer service. Plus, thank you for having a legal location to blast them off.
Great place of by some fireworks John Palmer Is a Really cool guy always give you the best prices I recommend him any day you wont be disappointed on top of that lets put some icing on the cake you can shoot them all off right there when you buy them Have fun and enjoy
It was 4th of July at about 8 ish. So the rush was a bit much, but the staff worked hard to minimize the wait. Fair prices and good staff. Thats all I need to be a repeat customer next year.
My visit here sucked. Long lines with no water or fans. I left and went to Alamo fireworks.
Worst 4th of July experience! People were out of control with the fireworks. You come in and find a place to park along the dirt road and make your own campsite. They had food vendors and port-a-potties. But people all around you are shooting off fireworks in reckless abandon. The fireworks were constantly landing all around us in our campsite from uncareful neighbors. Someone’s rocket landed next to me and went off and I couldn’t hear well after that. As soon as the sun sets, there’s a constant barrage of fireworks going off. If you can’t tolerate loud noises this is not the place for you. This would have been a better experience if there were designated spaces for setting off fireworks and spaces just for campsites. As it was, it was chaotic and unsafe with rockets landing all around you. Lots of heavy drinking going on as well. Not worth the $20 admittance. Very long lines to purchase fireworks with over an hour and a half wait in line. Not family friendly. Too many trees in the way to even see the fireworks going off.
Great location, you can buy fireworks here and pop them as well. You can grill your own food and the fresh air is great.
Great place to shoot fireworks. We had the place allto ourselves last night. Im sure it will get busier the closer we get to New Years Eve.
What can I say its Fireworks? Omg they were nice it was my first time getting fireworks for July 4th omg the cashiers guy was just so sweet I told him its my first time getting these. He told me what or you looking for and he also explains to me also he was sweet. Thanks, I will be back there on New Years. Thanks, guys it was a drive but worth ever gas 😂😂😂. I wish I had got his name but I was in a hurry
They had a lot to offer..and some great deals..buy 1 get 1 free.
There was a super long line, I had them get off and walk a bit up the road to the stands and they were back with our purchase in no time! We simply turned around and enjoyed our evening.
This place is awesome, Ive bought fireworks from several places, but this location has the best selection in my opinion. I would give five stars, but the wait in line was entirely to long, took an hour and a half for us to finally reach the counter.
Dont procrastinate, buy soon and get great service, dont wait till the last minute
Dangerous, unorganized, terrible parking, fireworks going off within 6-12 inches of cars driving through the grounds. People being hit with fire works left and right, definitely no fire codes that need to be followed, it was a fun night shooting expensive as hell fireworks, but unbeliveibly lucky we didnt come away more I injured then we did.
Prices went up from last year but still a good price and service
Nice folks. Good variety and Good prices! What more do you need?!
Was terrible... Stood 2 hours in line for fireworks, people were aiming fireworks at cars, children, and families... Surrounding neighborhoods are pretty bad. Nothing was regulated, cops had a blindfold on. Artileries were shot towards cars... honestly trash...
So far clean. Some of the workers know what they are doing.$$$ kind of high. They did have some buy one get one on some of the small things. And plz come early lines are crazy. And plz be safe
My go to place every 4th of July and new years, good selection and fair price
Went there last night for the first time. 35 minute drive out of Dallas and very easy to get to. Friends and I have already made plans to come back for the next holiday. It said online $20 per car but we werent charged. The other people shooting fireworks were a little disorderly but use common sense and dont bring in your nice vehicle. I parked about 75 yards from the shooting ground. Later in the evening some of the people that worked there brought out a large load and shot off some beautiful fireworks. Thanks for a new years to remember!
Palmer Fireworks is hands down the best place to buy and shoot fireworks. Great prices, awesome location and the only Fireworks stand in Dallas county where you can buy and shoot off your fireworks. Stop Looking and go to Palmer Fireworks!
Stay far far away from Palmer’s Fireworks as the owner carries a gun and doesn’t seem to be mentally stable. I was supposed to meet the owner, John Palmer, at 7:30PM to workout the details for a film project. When he finally arrived, it was almost 10PM. No phone call. No apologies. He just started to rant about how he lost so much money due to the floods. His property backs up to the Trinity River, which we all know has been flooded due to recent rains. However, his rants were non-stop and was further delaying the video shoot. Shortly after the video shoot began, one of the participants (who was not part of our in-house film group) had to leave. For some odd reason, John Palmer had closed the gates to his front property while we were still filming (perhaps to fake a story to milk cash out of the next victim?). As the person was leaving, John went on a tirade and floored his ATV to confront the individual approximately 1/4 mile away. For whatever reason, John let this individual go and then demanded our film crew to pay $900 to fix his gate. He stated that all the sheriffs in town were his “buddies”, that he could do whatever he wanted and that we’d all be arrested. We tried to explain to him that we did not damage the gate, that his gate costed $319 after a quick search online and that we would be willing to let him hold onto a $1,200 camera lens so that we could go home and try to help him contact the person who damaged his gate in the morning and get our equipment back. The only reason we offered this is because we were exhausted and were frightened by his threats. There’s no reasoning with John Palmer. He started calling everyone a-holes, bitc-, etc etc and stormed off again to prevent anyone else from leaving. He held us hostage for more than 2 hours until finally we had to call the police ourselves. It was hilarious to find out that his sheriff “buddies” didn’t seem to care about John Palmer and let us go about our business.
Bring water please pay a $1 for water. There will be a long line the heat. But theres food there as well
NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL NOT BE GOING BACK
John is amazing! I did go a bit overboard this year as you can see hehe. It is 20- 40 bucks per car and more than worth it..you can buy here and shoot here. Or you can bring your own. Top notch. 2nd year in a row ive come here will continue to return.
This is an awesome place to not only BUY FIREWORKS but to SHOOT FIREWORKS as well. John Palmer, who owns this fireworks stand AND the land (35 acres on the Trinity River), lets customers shoot fireworks too. The cost to shoot fireworks is $15 per car. You can even bring a grill and cook hotdogs, etc.
I go every year. This is the nearest place where you can buy and shoot fireworks legally. There are many people who launch tens of thousands of dollars in fireworks that probably rival the typical fireworks shows you usually have to watch from afar. Its $20 per car and you can bring your own fireworks. Fireworks are usually buy 1 get 1 free. They sell food, water, and snowcones at a fair price. There are a few port o potties too.It gets really busy near the 4th of July, but the grounds are large and there is plenty of space. Its right next to the Trinity River so you can shoot right over the waters. A dirt road divides the grounds into 2 halves, one facing the river, and the grounds are further divided into several clearings. This year, we thought it would be really muddy because theres were heavy rains that morning, but the ground was already dry by late afternoon.I recommend bringing lighters, lawn chairs and wooden boards so you have a flat place to shoot from. But Ive always found people to be friendly so weve borrowed lighters and shared boards in past years. Its probably not the safest environment because people are all around you, shooting fireworks, but thats typical for anywhere during the 4th of July. They have some staff patrolling around in tractors.
Great discount on fireworks, they will take care of you...and for a small fee, you can shoot them off right there. Very cool for the kiddos, and we dont have to clean up the mess!
We got great deals & everyone loved the show!
The best with great prices
Does anyone know how late you can stay on the 4th? The site says midnight but hopefully you can stay later?
Best place around Dallas, Ft. Worth to Buy and Shoot Fireworks! Excellent customer service, beautiful location.
This place was awesome! They had the best snowcones also!
This will be the third year in a row that I have went and its amazing! Great prices and a great experience!
Close by the house, secluded woodsy area in a safe location, police were visible and the firworks were LOUD AND BEAUTIFUL, I have small grandkids so the thing I loved was the kid friendly back pack for small kids (21.00) that included sparklers, stink bombs, and little flare things, my total purchase came out to 40 bucks, and I got quite a bit of stuff. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. They stay open till 12 midnight, I went around 10 pm and they were packed, they do have a fireworks display for the 4th and for 20.00 a car load you can watch and pop fireworks, safe environment and not have to worry about guns going off. The only complaint I have is the road has NO lighting and if you watch horror movies you dont like the feeling of driving down a long, dark street in the middle of the night. Im going again to buy more stuff (during the day...lol)
Good prices and friendly customer service:).
Nice place to buy and shoot fireworks on the 4th.... If you dont mind waiting in a line of cars FOR AN HOUR.
I would have given zero Stars if possible! This place is so dangerous and so unsafe! The most ghetto people come out here in light fireworks off, with no safety and nobody watching over them! Some dumbass launch the mortar shell into the sunroof on my new vehicle! Needless to say we are having to pay for it all out of our pocket now because of someone elses ignorance! This place should be held liable or have people out there making people like them off correctly!
Great choice of fireworks and lots of space to pop them!
Cant wait for July 4th
Had a blast of fun
They charge u more than other places would
Great place!! A bonus to be able to shoot them at the same place.
