Nice little store. Good prices. Unfortunately one guy I asked about cabinets didnt have any answers, gave me a price sheet instead. Second time going back it was closed 10 minutes prior to advertised 4pm time. Prices alone wont cut it, not impressed.

A cute little home improvement store... Good prices and the staff is very knowledgeable about all of the products sold in the store, and the project that you are doing. I recommend going to this store first before you go to home Depot or Lowes.

I ordered 24 cases of flooring. I received an email that me order was confirmed with $149 shipping, asking me to confirm, which I did. Today I received a text with a photo of the shipping label, with my name an an address in ellicott city, MD. I called, and the guy said thats his mistake. If I want it shipped to my house (in Essex, MD) it would cost cost $339 or he would cancel my order. I said thats your mistake. He said its not, and he would refund the order. I said thanks for wasting my time, and he hung up. I called the office, and they offered to take $30 off the $339

Unorganized and unprofessional. I drove 45 minutes to buy a tub they had on the floor and after 30 minutes of looking for their price sheet they still could not tell me the price because the lady who knows the prices was off today.

Bought almost 600 or 700 hundred dollars of wood bead board a couple months ago, it was horrible edges so messed up . . . did one wall of a 16 x 18 room and gave up on trying in to find peices not so damaged, tried to fix with it with wood filler and paint on seams but looks terrible, Ive been renovating my home 4 years now, so this is not my first rodeo on doing this ( 3 previous rooms successful ) 3ended up using the rest of pieces inside closet walls where they wont be seen, I drove 90 miles to you because of commercials on the TV . . . . .I Beware people . . I am not happy, having to do wall over to match the other 3 from local hardware store, cost me $ out of my pocket for this deal . . Wont be back there again

Everyone was extremely helpful and informative. Was able to stay with us and help us. A/C units as well as unfinished cabinets in the back. Wide variety they do place orders. They have an easy to follow price sheert to take home and study. Very Very reasonable price.

Love the people and the merchandise. THEY DONT WESR MASKS. Be advised. This made me very uncomfortable and was strange considering SOME employees wore masks—but few. Whitfield County leads the state in Covid infection growth. Your loyal customers deserve better.

The best place to go in Dalton Georgia if you want really good building materials that are really good price. Chip is the most honest guy in the surplus and close out business! Stop in and say hello these guys are really helpful really nice and theyre pricing is spot on. they will beat everybody in town if they have what you want you will not find a better price anywhere in Dalton Georgia.

Great place to shop for incredible deals. I see some posts with folks complaining about the service. Get a firm grip on yourself. This store runs on an extremely tight budget in order to provide the sort of bargain prices you can obtain, so dont walk in expecting a fleet of sales people to come rushing to your presence. The young folks that work here are spread thin and work hard to take care of everyone as best as possible. With all that they have to do every day, they do a damn fine job of getting to customers in the quickest manner possible. Dont be in such a rush. Take your time and look around. Youll always find something you can use at a fantastic price. If, however, you need instant attention and service, go to the blood bank. Theyll stop everything theyre doing to draw a pint or two. Otherwise, kick back and enjoy what Yellow Knife Trading Post has to offer. Its an outstanding store and staff.

West Yellow Knife Trading Post is a clearance house for building materials. The show room is well lit, picked up, and organized. Being in Dalton, they have a wide selection of engineered flooring along with various plumbing supplies, floor mats, and what ever they have found a good bargain on at the time. It is a fun store to check out. You never know what treasure you will find.

This business / the owner is fantastic. Responds to text / phone calls virtually immediately. Stayed in contact, as promised, through-out the entire process, while he compiled my order using a couple shipments. Picking-up the order at the transfer station was seamless. Prices are getting to be as much as the regular box stores. I usto shop here all the time but with the prices going up or even higher than the others I will not be shopping here anymore

This is a good place to get a central heat and air unit. You can get gas or electric. They have full warranty. I have bought 3 and no problem with any of them. I bought the Goodman models, made in Knoxville.

A lot of good deals.

Hit or miss. They buy up close out stock so don’t expect anything to be there when you come back a 2nd time. But they have a wide ranging selection overall. Don’t really recommend much of the furniture but they have a lot of outdoor gardening things and hardware for home improvement in the warehouse. Prepare to rummage and get dusty.

Doing remodeling on home. Needed front door and other stuff. Had seen a front door before there we liked and wanted to know if it could be ordered. Only two guys seem to know the answer and could never catch them there. After 3rd trip to see if it could be ordered Tim was there. But he was to busy to answer and only give us a I dont know I would have to call as he was walking away. Guess they dont need my business and they will never get it.
