Quick service. I came at 12 on a Friday and it was pretty empty. The employees were polite and didnt push and add ons. The process was quick and painless. I was in and out in 15 mins. I like that I know exactly what oil I was getting. Will definitely come back since this place is close to my work

These are very nice people, and they do an excellent job. They took the time to explain what they were going to do, and let me know what they were doing through every step of the process. They took the time to explain why they were using the type of oil they were using for my vehicle. If you need your oil changed you should go here.

Arrived @ 5pm on Friday, and the shop was already closed. Discovered a small hand written note (diffficult to see it was there & cannot read it, unless standing right in front of the door) of temporary hours change due to covid. Why was there no mention of hours change on the company website, or Google Maps? It took only a few minutes to submit the hours change Edit, with picture, to Google Maps. Returned Saturday morning. Discovered an additional hand written sign: interior vacuuming not available due to covid. While requesting an oil change for my car, I mentioned I brought an engine air intake filter, if needed. Also, I showed them an online $5.00 OFF Discount Coupon. The technician said he can change the filter, but would charge additional for the labor. Part of the basic oil change service is to check that filter. What additional labor is required to replace the existing filter vs a new one I brought with me? At checkout, the total was a little higher than expected. I asked if the total included the online discount the coupon for $5 Off, or if I was charged extra labor for checking the engine air intake filter? They had forgotten to apply the $5 off coupon, and had to adjust the invoice.

I usually go to the San Bruno one. They are friendly and the waiting area is nice, clean and inviting. They were full so I went to the one in Daly City. The owner is very nice. They were empty so were able to take me right away which was great. The waiting area needs updating though. The seats are old and breaking and ripping. They have a TV Tray for a table. The desk staff werent as friendly or inviting either. They only acknowledge you when its time to pay. Daly City is convenient because its close to my house but I would rather drive farther to San Bruno.

The customer service from the older take-in man is unprofessional and he talks to women down and disrespectful. In his culture women are disrespected but he forgets this not the country to treat a woman like he did me. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND

Ive been going to this particular location for sometime now and they are always upfront and never do anything without talking with you first. Friendly staff and they are very speedy as their name suggests.

BEWARE OF BEING SCAMMED BY THE OWNER.My first time going to SpeeDee oil change and Ill never gonna return again. Apart from the usual upsells, they flat out refused to do oil change on my 2010 Civic LX because I asked for basic oil change. The owner lady lied to my face and said my car REQUIRE synthetic oil according to the manufacture. In my 10 years ownership of my base model civic, not once a Honda dealer told me that my car REQUIRE synthetic oil. The owner is straight up scamming people and I feel really bad for people who bought into the scam.Once I made it very clear that Im not buying the synthetic package, the owner lady told me to go somewhere else and walked away. They left the hood up and didnt even bother to close it. Zero care and Im very surprised that SpeeDee as an company would let that kind of service represent their company name.

Brought my ugly work truck here at 5:40pm and got turned away. They refused to change the oil. WAS planning on making this my regular place for my 3 vehicles and both of my in-laws vehicles. But you dont want to work on a $400 pickup when i am overdue for an oil change, why should i bring you the rest i always do Mobil 1 full synthetic on? Btw, had $40 in my back pocket for the technician that would have done it. And you could have sold me on Mobil 1 full synthetic with, we only have full synthetic right now. It would have saved me having to find another place tomorrow.Dear Cooperate Rep, i dont need him to follow up with me. Ill just take my business elsewhere. It wont affect you guys much because itll be back to your San Bruno location. The Daly City location is walking distance to me and i THOUGHT it would be more convenient. But they (Daly City) dont want to work on my $400 pickup, why bring them my $40k Lexus? San Bruno has great service and Ive never had an issue there.

Fast service for an oil change. 15 minutes at the most. They give you the choice to sit in your car or go inside to the lobby. Honest service with no attempt to oversell you on products or services. I would recommend and I will go again myself.

I have been going to this place for years with various vehicles. While the owner may seem curmudgeon-y both he and his wife seem to want to genuinely provide you with good customer service. My car is always ready pretty fast. If youre looking for a quick, thorough oil change thats conveniently located along 280 just outside of San Francisco, SpeeDee Oil Change is a good place to go.

I’ve been going here for years. Used to be a hit or a miss but now, this place is lit. Customer service on point and some moe. Today Laurence helped me out. Cleaned my windshield, air filter, changed my oil, and changed my windshield blades. Even gave me 5$ off- definitely worth 5 stars.

RUN! Do not go here! I bought a used truck and they had previously used this location to get their oil changes done (Their sticker was on the windshield and the report showed they consistently used this shop). I do my own oil changes and when I tried to do my first as the new owner of the truck, I was unable. They wailed down on the oil drain plug WAY over tightening it! Ive tried using vice grips and hitting it with a mini sledge hammer and it still doesnt budge. I had to stop so I dont ruin it more. This huge mistake shows how incompetent they are. The ordeal has caused one huge headache. This is going to cost me money to get a mechanic to try and get the plug out and the cost of a replacement. I would strongly urge that you do not trust this shop with your car!Update: Its been over a month since I shared my email and phone number with the representative and have not heard anything from anyone. Not even a simple were sorry for the headache and cost we put you through. Dont fall for the fact they appear to be doing their job to appease their upset customers. If the fact they do a horrible job doesnt make you bring your car to them, hopefully the TERRIBLE customer service will!

Poor customer service and extremely overpriced. Many add-on charges for a simple oil change on a VW golf. Special oil filter charge? Extra oil pan cover removal charge? TOTALLY DECEPTIVE PRICING! $115 for a synthetic oil change on a mid-size car is crazy. I found a nearby mom-and-pop shop charging $80 for oil change and tire rotation.

When I got there it was raining and I was using the wipers which were in good condition, when I left it was raining again, I turned on the wipers, then I understood why the so called technician that was changing the oil suggested to change the wipers because they were broken, I told him no, I will order new ones myself, that guy damaged the passenger wiper, I now have to buy new ones, what a scam they have going at that location, damaging parts on your car so you can buy them from them at an inflated cost.I will report this place at the BBB for sure, and will protest to their own headquarters about the bussines ethics of this locationI will get new wipers and that place will never, ever get my business again, ever, I will also spread the word to everyone I know.

Extremely rude. He told me I can only use synthetic in my car, so I made a call to my boss, since this car is a company vehicle. I explained to my boss that I can only use synthetic and then the associate here interrupted me and said that he didnt say that. After that he told me I need an oil filter otherwise Im going to have car issues... I just got an oil filter 3 weeks ago... I told him I will take my business elsewhere and he came up to my window and told me my car sounds terrible because Im putting the wrong oil in it and that I dont have any idea what Im doing with my car. Its a company vehicle, I follow protocol, theres no reason to tell me Im stupid. Im going to tell the whole world to avoid this place.

I went there today for an oil change. The staff was very efficient and courteous. The head honcho was very patient with me even though I was confused about what kind of oil I needed. You can see them while theyre working and they are quite thorough. I was in and out very quickly.

They did my brakes. Fail. They still scrape but they tell me its other parts of my car. After that answer didnt hold up, they told me it takes 400 miles to break it in. Did that. Still hear the scraping. Then they just said they didnt hear anything. Do not go to this place if you want trustworthy service. Dont even go if youre desperate. They are terrible.

Was straight up DENIED SERVICE because I refused synthetic oil... when it clearly stays in my owners manual that I can use 5w30 as an alternative, and my car has NEVER had synthetic oil. Was forced to drive to another town. Never going back.

Staff is friendly, but just like other businesses, they pressure you to purchase add-ons. If you can, make an appointment by phone. They also accept walk-ins. One thing that I agree with most of the reviewers here is that the oil change itself is overpriced compared to competitors. Also, even though its easy to drive in from Sullivan Ave, be aware that there are blind spots when you exit from Washington Street. There isnt a lot parking either. Its a small location.

Got ther at 8:10. Old guy with the indians beanie nade me feel like I was bothering him with my service. Since the other place was closed I had limited options for a smog check. At 8:35 I ask whats going on? He says the guy is late. He will be here.8:45 I ask for my dmv paper since it is taking to long, he then tells me i didnt know he was late not even 10 minutes before he, himself told me the guy was late. He didnt want to give up the sheet, I had to go get it. Not going back here again. Overpriced amd rudeness.

Prices are not the best and customer service is mediocre. Average experience, not sure if its worth switching over from Jiffy Lube.

Will never go here again. After they set my car up, the rude owner told me he refused to change my oil because I had an oil leak. He told me to go get it fixed and come back then hed change the oil. That wouldve been an $800 and several days procedure so was out of the question. They told me I was very low on oil, so I asked if I could buy a quart off of them there. They told me I couldnt walk out of the shop with it and that I needed to pull my car around (since they drove it out of the shop) so they could add some oil to my car. I wouldnt recommend them for their services or anything.
