Best fried Trout Ive ever had, simple seasoning and overwhelmingly great tasting. Folks who own the place are very social and have put in a lot of effort to design this heartwarming location. A very good experience and well worth it, will return again just to make a stop here for more fish!

This is the place to go in siglufjordur for food and drink and is the type of place that becomes immediately your local hangout. Short menu of high quality fish, and the cheapest beer in town (including the local seagull67 costing lower than the brewary itself). The arctic char was super fresh and perfectly cooked with crusty skin, first time I had a proper one after a week in Iceland. Looking forward to the famous fish soup now! All preserved original recipes from previous generations. Last but not least very nice friendly folks running the family business now, with lots of great advice on what to do and where to go in the region.

Amazing cozy restaurant! The food is spectacular. Has beer, liquor and specialty coffee. The owner also very willing to spend time talking with you. Would definitely recommend this place!

The food is good but, and I know its Iceland but even so, the prices are eye-watering. For these prices I expect something rather more sophisticated. Take it down 25% and it would be reasonable.

The chef was super friendly. Told us about life in Iceland. Made great food, and saved us a room at a nearby hotel.

Best place to eat in the city. Open after 5pm. Herring is outstanding. The owner is like a good book.

We ate really well in this tiny restaurant on the harbor. The appetizer soup was delicious, made a little French with tomato and chilli, salmon and herring were delicious, the welcome and kindness of the staff made the evening particularly pleasant. The price adjusted to the high prices that are in all of Iceland, but compared to other acceptable places given the quality of the proposed food.
