Great breakfast. Fast service. I Enjoy their country skillet and my daughter loves the cinnamon roll pancakes. I was glad to see them closing and taking time off for a proper vacation. That speaks a lot to the atmosphere and staff they have.
All I can say is oh my God was this place great!!! Watching these people work was like watching the action in a Gordon Ramsay Restaurant. You have to try this place out it is absolutely fabulous!!! #Waffle heaven

Really good pancakes. I had a cinnamon roll pancake. I typically go to village inn or other larger restaurants, since a lot of smaller restaurants often taste like thrown together ingredients from a grocery store. This is not the case with stacks pancake house, it’s amazing food and will come again :)
Ordered the math plate with over easy eggs. For some reason the eggs came on top of the pancakes, I asked a staff member if this was how it was supposed to come and she replied in the negative. I was never given syrup so I am unsure if Stacks Pancake House even has decent pancakes. Go somewhere else.
They didnt cook our eggs right. The biscuits were delicious and the service was excellent. Long weight time for the meal. Overall good experience.
Great new place in Bettendorf. Many items to choose from for breakfast and lunch. Pricing was very reasonable. Very friendly staff. We stopped for breakfast on a friday morning and was in and out in less then a half hour. No waiting and quick service. Very tasty food. I would recommend checking them out.

Clean restaurant with an extensive breakfast menu. My companion enjoyed blueberry crepes and I ate a large, tasty breakfast sandwich. Attentive servers. Reasonable prices. Coffee was good, not great. I still drank several cups!

I have come here for breakfast twice now, and both times the food and service were great. They have a full menu and a cozy atmosphere, and its right at the foot of the 74 bridge for convenient access.
These were the best pancakes I have had anywhere. My husband can usually eat 10 pancakes anywhere and couldnt finish 2 of these very filling. Fast and super friendly. We will be returning.
First time visiting Stacks and I’ll definitely be back! The food and service was very good. Both entree’s came out piping hot and fairly quick.The Eggs Benedict was delicious. Second best in the QC to Machine Shed’s Farmer’s Benedict. It’s a true Benedict with Canadian bacon and not ham or sausage. The poached eggs were cooked properly with a runny yoke. The English muffin was toasted perfectly. And the hollandaise was flavorful and plentiful.The hash browns were plain but good. The shedder style hash brown casserole from Machine Shed is much better and as a total meal the Farmer’s Benedict is better. But this is a very good alternative with the added bonus that Stacks serves breakfast all day rather than stopping at 10:30 like Machine Shed.

A little confusing when first coming in on first visit. Theres a sign that says Please wait to be seated when you first walk in but apparently youre supposed to go to the counter and check in...? Theres nothing posted that said this.. otherwise good food and priced as youd expect.

The food was phenomenal, pancakes fluffy, eggs cooked perfect. The service was wonderful, our waitress was on refills and had a wonderful personality. AND they were clean!! Bathrooms even and we dined halfway through the day. Loved it. Loved everything about it.

My fiance and I went there for his Birthday Breakfast. Karrie(our waitress) was absolutely great. Fast Friendly service and didnt feel rushed. Very mom and pop feel. Open and Happy vibes. Amazing food and plenty to fill you up. Plenty for what you pay. Thank you for the great Experience.

First time at Stacks today and I really enjoyed it! Chicken fried steak was excellent. Pancakes were awesome, many levels better than some other breakfast options in the area. Great service as well. I will be back to try their lunch menu, which looked great as well.

Best pancakes Ive ever had at a restaurant, no joke. My boyfriend and I both agreed on that. One star removed because they forgot the peppers and onions in his omelette however they did immediately remedy it. If I could award 4.5 stars I would! Well be back. And rest assured Ill be ordering more pancakes next time. I want to know the secret!

Weve been three times. Mostly pretty good food... mostly. Great pancakes, waffles, eggs, etc. But one of our group has gotten cold toast every visit. Service is also mostly good. The staff is friendly, but still get a bit of forgetting the odd item.Still, I recommend them, and well be going again.

Love this place. Just a shame their hours are so limited, because their food is good enough to be craved during the dinner hours. Seating is limited, dont try to walk in from 8-12 am on a Sunday without calling ahead. Seems to be a favorite for the church crowd as well.Onto the food. Its hard to make exceptional diner-style breakfast food, but its done really well. Heavy portions, great flavors, and you can tell its freshly prepped and the ingredients havent been stored for weeks before use.The burgers. Oh my God, the burgers. My favorite items available, they are incredible. From ranch style burgers with fried onions and southwest sauce to bleu cheese and bacon with the steak fries, couldnt ask anything better.Pricing is about as fair as it gets, this morning my wife ordered French toast with 2 eggs, bacon and sausage, and I (being the chub of the family) had a southwest burger(?), bill was about $21 with 2 coffees.
The coffee is good the hash Browns need to be cook thoroughly, Pancakes are OK. The cook needs to put a little more love into his cooking and take pride in what hes doing.
We dont get to go out to eat much me and my wife but when we do we like to try new local places we met a young lady named Amy she was our server and she just did the most amazing job the customer service the happiness and the willingness to help us figure out what we wanted on the menu was amazing so I just want to personally say thank you Amy we will definitely be back because of you
