Highly recommend this place is amazing definitely for pictures! Great staff! Amazing workers! I been taking pictures there for over 4 years . My son is autistic and looooooves taking pictures from them. He isn’t typically like taking pictures. But he turns into a model when he goes there. :)

JCPenney was nice the last I visited, the cashier was pleasant, workers encourage you where to go and collect your item. There were some items on sale, things seems going smoothly. My good friend item ordered on line was on time. They have selected what she want and purchase. All went well. they also have some nice beds on sale as well. Everything went well.

JCPenney was not too busy today, but there were still many people who was shopping and collecting goods the purchase online. It was very good, plenty of nice furnitures down stairs. Especially beds. Lot of children clothes and shoes, many clearances. Upstairs is also very nice, you met people who asked you can I help you. You were not alone in the store, the environment was clean. The cashier was pleasant so the process goes on accurately. Not a bad place after all.

Hard to fine my way around store. Disappointed with clothing selection. Mostly geared toward young and thin people. Not much selection for the over 50 crew

Store open but inventory is lacking for sure. They need more time to get inventory up and current. I was looking for work and church dresses, they had mostly casual. The same was true in the middletown ny store. These store are on exits off of 84.

Clean, relatively easy to go through clothes. A bit expensive, the best deals are if you open a JC Penney, credit card or using the JC Penney credit card.

Very nicely laid out store..I almost forgot that jcpenny was even still there..Very weird shopping experience during covid with sparse people in there..but then again..maybe nice so your not tripping over people...nice selection of things. ..found what I was looking for...

Visited JCP Salon not too long ago. The usual hairdresser, I normally use was not available at the time which is Natty. I would give 5 stars for Natty alone, but the day I went it was another person by the name of Darya. I thought she was great! My hair had grown long enough to go passed my bra line and I wanted heavy layers to frame my round face. She even styled my hair after she was finished. But by the next day I straightened my hair straight and I noticed that my hair was not exactly what I wanted. Layers? What layers? She butchered my hair and I mean destroyed it!!! I DO NOT recommend the girl and I honestly dont even know how she still works there.

Curbside pickup is great. Associate was out in a jiffy, was courteous. JCP always has great deals available online, which is great especially when in store shopping is a little out of vogue.

Over priced and looks like its ready to close but my husband got a nice dress shirt on clearance.

Sadly they look like closing is imminent.I was looking for a watch. There was no seiko watches..almost no watches. everything was depleted.

Visited the salon. Very clean. Everyone wore masks. Hand sanitizer for all to use. Felt very safe and received an awesome haircut!

I really love this jcpenney. Everytime i go there, they have deals especially household supplies ie: House applicances and accessories. Toys and clothes are always at good pricing. The staff is very welcoming and friendly.

Always a great value at JCP. Completely enjoy the Rewards program.Store is typically bright and clean. But, this store seems to be downsizing as inventory not as bountiful as in the past. Trendy plus-size clothing is minimal, would love to see that expanded, especially in evening wear. Additionally, wide width shoes in stylish shoes are practically non-existent. Mens department is always a big hit with my husband and sons.Parking is excellent, too. Garage parking is plentiful and right across lower level entrance.

I was able to find three pairs of capri pants in my size with pockets large enough for my phone. They were all in agreeable colors, and all were on sale. Both workers who helped me were polite and efficient.

In all my excitement of being able to buy Xmas gifts for my loving family, I rushed out of the house, and forgot my needles for my eyes! I just couldnt cope with all the joy of the season, and headed back home, to drown my sorrow in Jager.

This is not your dads JCP! Fresh lines of clothes, friendly help are still a secret to the general public. Go before the crowds do!

Best place For me to get reasonably priced Big and Tall mens clothing for my husband and son. Nice selection of womens clothes casual and work.

Needed black jacket for a funeral. They had an ad for one at a very good price. It had been a sale that had ended. Got the jacket but not the price. Nice jacket, though.

Everything is tossed around in the store like nobody cares and the building smells moldy. It was also very difficult to find the handicap elevator even if they have one.

JCPenney has so many varieties of brands that you cannot be unsatisfied

Hardly any inventory and barely staff willing to help.. you are basically shopping alone with self help.

Dont fix what is not broken. I used to love the old store. They are trying to go back how it used to be but not much luck. And once you loose a customer it is not easy to bring it back.

Many options to choose from at great low prices. Customer service was great everyone was very helpful. I found everything I needed.

Like jcp. Debbie in housewares is excellent. I do a lot of online and pick up in the store and she is so helpful and pleasant. Even if outside of her department.

The staff are pleasant, the store is very nice and the mens dept has a big and tall section. Unfortunately the chain is experiencing problems and a sense of doom lingers over the glistening floors and well stocked inventory.

They need more employees! Yikes! Four stars for quality merchandice and great deals. Plus they gave me a chocolate bar and a 30% off coupon.

Always looking to shop here. Good offers. But they gave me a credit card in pretense of membership card which I didnt like. Reduced 1 star for it.

This JCP has struggled, its a good store but clearly getting mixed signals from corporate headquarters. They began a renovation, but it wasnt completed. They introduced different pricing systems, but it was confusing. Then they added in in house sephora, which is cool because the big one in the mall is always so crowded. Personally I like the range of goods this Penneys carries, and their prices are great. Its just unfortunate that management cant seem to make up its mind, since there are some areas of bare walls or clearance sections with bare shelves.

Met Lisa -maria who I used to work with now the store manager. Nice place to shop organized very well. I will be back.

If I could give this a 0 I would. Went in for a 9:15 appointment to get my 1-week old daughter’s picture taken for a Christmas card. By 10pm, we still haven’t gotten in. We got to the store at 9:15, and all of their doors are locked, no wonder these big stores are failing. Oh they also booked another appointment on top of ours, they had two photographers, and one didn’t have any experience. The lack of care and professionalism in this place is disturbing. What a huge waste of time. If I have an appointment at 9:15, why am I waiting an hour later to get the pictures taken?

Ive always liked JCPenneys the one in Danbury is great Im a big guy so I buy big and tall mens clothing to stop on the escalator soon as you get upstairs theres an entire huge and very reasonably priced big and tall section I hope JCPenney stays in business Christmas is where I buy at least half of my clothes for casual

Went for a job interview today and got stood up by the manager. They were very unprofessional and never even showed up, and ended up interviewing someone else who was there at the same time. I hope that moron gets the job. Ill remind my mother not to shop here anymore because theyre a poor example of management and everything else that theyresupposed to be doing.

Two story JCPenny in the Danbury Fair mall. The furniture was a bit overpriced. A large selection of sale and clearance items. Dont forget to check their site for coupons. The clerk said he didnt even need the actual coupon even though I pulled it up on my phone.

Called the Mall # 3x to reach customer service for JCPenney -- phone rang each time over 20 rings. Now I am on the phone with JCP Customer service in Ohio to make a complaint about the lazy-ass-donut eating customer service they have where no one answers the phone. Customer service rep from Ohio said the phone rang for 5 minutes before somebody picked up and it wasnt even the operator -- it was an employee from the childrens department???? I placed a complaint against this store and also that they did not call me about my catalog order being in now 4 days ago?If this is JCPenneys comeback -- they better GOBACK!!!!
