Very helpful staff! Its a family owned business and they have been building boats since 1966. Mike is super knowledgeable and knows how to build a great boat. They have a store on site with a service department so you can always get what you need. They have fishing gear and clothing. Its nice to see a local family business still being able to compete with the big companies. I am proud to say I am a Dusky owner and I can say I am a part of the Dusky family.

Good selection and some of the best prices around. They have a great supply of engine parts. The main store has everything from trailer parts to fishing tackle. I always buy my evinrude XD-100 oil here along with fuel water separators. Dont judge it by the online store which stinks. Go have a look around and you will see they are competitively prices with a decent inventory. Plus it gives you a chance to check out the new Duskys

This company posted several fake job postings online for gelcoat and lamination. When I called they did not have any jobs available and did not want to talk with me. Stop posting fake jobs!

If only we could give 0 stars for the customer service!! Took forever for someone to come to the counter, with several people waiting... then VERY rude woman!! We are in the customer service industry, they definitely shouldn’t be... and this was not the first bad experience there! Not returning a third time!!! Will go out of our way to find what we need elsewhere!!Ps: I have a funny feeling that a lot of these “positive” ratings have been fabricated... 🙄

Absolutely the most friendly, helpful and willing marina/dealer/storage/maintenance all-in-one on the coast. Tucked away from busy streets but close to everything, Dusky is the place to go for all your boating needs!

Totally recommend! Came from LA because its the only place I found that selling out-rovers. The owner is so nice, helped me and explained everything that I need to know.

I had a small issue with my new motor cover and had them also do the initial 20 hr oil and filter change and had my boat back in 3 days. I appreciate the prompt service and also the boat cleaning, she was spotless, thank you. Thank you nick for your first class service I received and thank you Mrs. Brown for your help. Great service. Look forward to the next service. They also sell all sorts of fishing equipment and boat parts.

Excellent costumer service and prices

If there was no stars that’s what I give this place. At first they’re nice and friendly until you give them your money and then when they sell you lemon of a motor and when you come back for warranty service they tell you that they won’t take anything now because they’re super busy and to call another service center. It’s a shame that they treat people like this.

Great place to repower a boat! I drove past two other Evinrude approved dealers to go to Dusky because of their reputation and length of ownership. I repowered a 30 Wellcraft in Feb 2017 and took advantage of Evinrudes boat show 10 year extended warranty special. To top it off Kathy at Dusky found a free prop special as part of the promotion and I got $1000 worth of props free from Evinrude. The repower went smoothly and they kept the boat an extra week to order additional props and make sure the boat had the best size props for performance. The whole install and set up of the engines was done well. Also they have a several mile long canal to test prop set ups right in their backyard which was a big advantage compared to some of the other land locked and over crowded Evinrude dealers. All in all it was a great experience and will return to Dusky for any additional boating needs.

This place is top notch. They repowered my 25ft Hydra Sport with a pair of G2 200 Etecs. The wiring and attention to detail was second to none. I live two hours across the state and made the trip. And I am glad I did. From the sales staff the service dept and the marine technicians I was extremely happy we did business together.

I have used both the service and parts side of Dusky. I also buy my fishing gear from them. I love the service I get from each department. If you have never been there you should.

I cant review the competency of Duskys outboard repair service because I didnt actually use it. The reason I didnt use it is because of the person answering their phones. I called to ask about having service done on my Suzuki outboard. I was asked by the person who answered the call whether my boat was on a trailer. I said no but that I could put it on the trailer and drive it over to them. She then told me great, you can drop it off anytime during regular business hours. What she didnt tell me was that their service department would not be able to look at it for three weeks! That would have been good information to have before I hauled out the boat and drove it to their facility. Terrible first (and last) impression. >:-(

Best deal on Carolina Skiff by far. Shopped around for months over the entire state, no one came close to Dusky’s price and service. Delivery was super fast. Kathy was awesome...knowledgeable, professional, and patient, always answered all of our questions and concerns. I purchased a 2008 Etec 200 HO and took it to Dusky to have the EMM scanned. It was my first time there. They provided first class service and know their stuff!! I had tons of questions about the engine and they answered everyone, and told me to call back if I ever needed assistance. Ive been a pain in their neck ever since! Every time I call, I get expert technical assistance which has helped me to become a better Maintainer of my engine. I really appreciate what they have done for me.

A customer recently purchased a vessel from Dusky and decided to buy a Sea Tech trailer as opposed to the Continental they offer. He was not given any specs on the hull to facilitate proper fitment of his trailer.The factory reached out to Dusky.Dusky refuses any to give any other trailer manufacturer the specs for trailer adjustment. They push Continental due to the kickbacks. Customer service is non-existent. Management should be ashamed of itself.

Dont let them rig your boat. Was inexperienced with what the boat needed, and they took advantage of that. They financially hosed me for the rigging. Both motors are offset from where they should be. They recommended their fatter power wire for motors/batteries which stuffed the tube full of wires and now cant fit a transducer wire through it. They cracked the bait tank bilge tube and sank the boat when out testing it for warranty repair w/o me present...Didnt inform me of it or the incurred gel coat repairs. A family member went to check on the boat for the speedometer replacement taking 4 weeks and seen what they done, instead of what they said that part was on delay to receive. When pointed out issues, they lied about it and would not talk...Just gave dirty looks and stomped away. STAY AWAY from Dusky Marine

Got a new motor and fuel tank. Fuel tank took over 3 months get done . The boats come with poly tanks that are rated to last 12 years so if u got one thats older then 12 years get ready to drop 6500. . On the service side ( different business) they finished my install and couldnt get the proper rpms then they changed the prop and called me to pick it up.when I got there some guy told me I needed to test the rpms ( they didnt water test it) so I took it home to water test it . 5500 rpms. Not 5700 to 6100 like its supposed to be. Also the motor wont trim all the way up and the bottom of the motor just sits 6 inches under the water at my marina. I took the boat back to dusky and I was told that its normal to be in the water and my bottom paint was the rpm problem . Boat just feels like its struggling the whole time. I regret it all

Nice helping people with great knowledge and experiences

I brought in my new Evinrude which failed in the first hour of service. Got a large bill and was told it was not covered under warrantee because the problem was bad fuel. Same problem next time I use the boat and this time I wisely brought it to another dealer who quickly determined that the problem was overheating. I wrote a letter to management at Dusty and not even the courtesy of a response. I have a friend who experienced the same situation on his Evinrude from Dusky.
