I’ve done two deals with RL Boats- both deals were professional, knowledgeable about product and great to deal with. My last deal sold a boat through them, two weeks the boat was signed, sealed and sold. Great work. Thanks.Rob

Roman is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent. It has been a long time since I have used those words to describe a sales person. It fits Roman perfectly. We had an issue picking up the boat and without even asking Roman offered to deliver the boat to me for free! He endured the 80 mile trip, (one way) and not one but two flat tires along the way. His attitude did not change one bit. All around great guy!

I just purchased a sea ray 260 Sundancer through RL Boates. My experience of buying the boat became very nice and comfortable because of RL Boates owners professional and honest dealings. Mr. Roman at all times adviced me correctly about the boat buying processs and also assissted me in getting the boat shipped to Toronto. Thanks Roman, our sailing on the water has began now. God bless you

We expect people to have integrity, and to do what is morally right and ethical, even when nobody is looking. When people compromise their integrity they often know they are doing it and they rationalize why it’s okay. Based on my interactions with Roman, he lacks integrity. He knew that the boat he brokered to me had issues, and when asked he did not reveal the issues.A Miami boat owner has sold this boat more than once, brokered by RL Boats (Roman). Roman has sold this same boat with issues before and not disclosed the issues. This is quite a racket. Sell a boat with issues, buy it back at a discount, make a profit, and do it again with no disclosure of the known issues. Morally reprehensible. This 2018 Cobalt 220S boat was sold at auction as a salvage boat, with oil, water and sand reported to be in the engine. The auction also states the hull is cracked under the wakeboard tower and the windshield was damaged. See the auctions at the bottom of this review, showing this boat as a salvage boat. Upon inspection by Cobalt they confirmed the damaged windshield replaced with plexiglass (Cobalt uses glass), the hull under the wakeboard tower is cracked, wakeboard mounting brackets are backwards, after-market pump on the side of the engine to help it work, water line in engine compartment suggesting it was submerged, instrument cluster not all Cobalt, Mercruiser lube in Volvo engine, radio only partially operational (lots of splicing of wires), etc. None of this was disclosed. We had a mechanic look at it before purchase, a mechanic Roman referred–obviously a mistake. Roman operates under a veil of “I’m not a mechanic” and disclaims things, then he gives mechanical advice. He seems to think this veil makes it okay to operate with breached integrity. The issues weren’t limited to the boat. Roman recommended I replace the boat trailer tires because they were worn, which I gladly did. After buying the boat, a few hours from Miami, one of the wheels came off the trailer–we were fortunate this didn’t happen on the highway. Had I known the trailer had issues (there were no bearings in one of the wheels), I would have fixed it. The wheel was grinding on the axle. When we realized this we pulled into a trailer repair place. I needed to replace both axles to repair it, costing more than $2K. I decided to just buy a new trailer for $5K. I was thinking, I have a good boat - right? Now I have a new trailer so I am good to go. When I let Roman know of the issues with the trailer, he said this is why he told me to have the trailer inspected on my way out of town. He never told me to do this–you seriously think I would buy 4 new tires and not have the trailer checked out if I thought there were issues. When I told Roman of the trailer issues his first response was essentially, “it’s not my fault”. When we got home with the boat, we went to Cobalt to give it a once-over and discuss some upgrades. The dealer immediately noticed numerous issues as mentioned above. It is unfathomable to me that there are people out there like Roman. People who lack integrity and rationalize why it’s okay to take advantage of others. I would never recommend this broker to anyone.Auctions Showing Boat:CrankyApe auction, search for 84634BidCars auction, search for 26031969

Do not buy a boat from this dealer! He is a crook! We were taken in by his lies and ended up losing money on a boat that was junk and couldn’t be fixed. We got some of our money back from the actual owner but it was a hassle. Now this dealer is trying to sell the same boat again and rip off someone else. Do not buy a Cobalt 220 from this guy. The warranty is void because it has been salvaged.

By far THE BEST Yacht Broker. The owner, Roman, is extremely knowledgeable and experienced with all sizes and types of boats. From small little fishing pleasure boats to Motoryachts and even Sailboats. If you are looking to buy or sell. He has the experience that will assist you in making this an easy transaction. Fully licensed and insured. They also offer full export services and shipping to get your new boat back home. Regardless of the sales representative, Roman personally handle every transaction to ensure that you are getting the very best deal available. No surprises or hidden fees. Everything is fully disclosed up front. I highly recommend them. I have found then to be very honest and creditable. Two things that are hard to come by in todays market.
