I detest this entire chain. Massive stores yet not one thing on the shelves I regularly buy to accommodate food allergies. Everyone trying to run everyone else over with shopping carts. No social distancing. Nobodys wearing masks. Simply awful.

My checker-outer person didnt seem to be having a great day but everyone else seemed pleasant. The store itself has an amazing selection of just about everything, I could see myself shopping here regularly if I was a local. Prices seemed better than other places for the same or similar products.

Lots of great values for your dollar. Ive been going to Market Basket for many years. I continue to go. Everyone there helps you if they cant they will find someone that can help you for what you need. Thats why I keep going back week after week.

Market Basket has the best prices around! They have a large selection of fresh organic produce and frozen berries! Last week they had Fresh Express Salad Kits on sale 2/$4 but they didnt have any Bacon Caesar, which my son eats daily, and I forgot to get a rain check. Yesterday I stopped at the Customer service desk and asked if they would honor the sale price and they did. They gave me a rain check for 6. They only had 2 left left so they changed the quantity on the rain check to 4 so I could get more the next time I was in!Thats awesome customer service. I was so thrilled there was nobody in line when I checked out. I love Market Basket in Middleton!

I can’t possibly rave enough about this Market Basket #23. I’ve been shopping there for 25 years, and have never had a bad experience. The produce is fresh and varied, as is the meat and fish. There’s a huge range of brands and products to choose from! All the employees are courteous, friendly, and helpful. It is a place you are drawn to because it is full of humanity. I feel blessed to buy my food there.

Larger and nicer than the Salem Market Basket with a larger selection and great prices

Good prices and clean store. Got a bit annoyed the other day with a younger employee who was sent by the cashier while I was checking out to check on an items price since I bought it (I actually bought two of the same item) because it was on sale according to its price tag but it wasnt coming up on the register as a sale item. So he goes to check on the items price supposedly, he took his time (at least 2-3 minutes) with people lining up behind me at the expressway register only to tell me it was not on sale and that I probably saw another items price tag. I paid for both items full price and then I was so sure of what I had seen before I had to go and check for myself. I was indeed right and I took a picture of the sale price and the indicator SALE ITEM on the tag with the name of the very item written on it (how much more obvious than that one would think it could be?) I went to the customer service and explained to the lady what had just happened. I showed her the picture I had just took and told her about my recent bad experience. She apologized on behalf of her colleague who apparently didnt know how to check for the price but mostly for him telling me that I was mistaken and that the full price is correct. She refunded me the difference of the sale price for one item and refunded me the whole amount of the second item as it is the policy for wrongful price tags found on the floor. I thanked her for her great customer service she gave me but I had to spend about 10 more minutes of my time because of the first employees incompetence. If I didnt have that extra time to put in at another day I would have paid the wrong price double and have left.

Horrendous,This is the only store where I was stopped from buying water. Someone approached me saying the store policy is that I’m not allowed to buy more than 2 cases of water.No sign suggesting that limit,The question is: why you sell water if you limit the amount of water one can buy?One can make multiple trips in & out of the store, but is just time consuming.My advice: take your business elsewhere! Totally not worth it!

Perfect for waiting the 435 bus back to Central Square of Lynn when you buy anything at. They have a bottle redemption. Good customer service, clean store and a bus stop to Central Square of Lynn.

Bad parking, always crowded, not a great selection of items. The layout is unconventional in the sense that refrigerated goods like cheese and milk are all the way to the right of the store, and frozen items/produce are all the way to the left of the store.. the bakery is pretty slim, everything seems imported, so its hard to find nice bagels or bread like you can at other stores. They have a slim selection of vegetarian goods. The meat department is good for what its worth, and the prices are competitive, but I avoid getting groceries here unless somebody gives me a gift card or something.

This has always been my grocery store to shop at. But within the past two years. I have noticed it is becoming dirty and it happens to have a smell inside. Quit a few of the employees act as tho you should move out of their way while shopping.. oh hell I dont think so

Almost. A 5 and thats huge for me! They could havr a better organic section and they could carry some specific things I really have to go searching for. But overall they are a favorite place to shop for prices offerings, freshness of produce and quality. Theres a reason why the lines are longer here. Plus I still really respect the workers walk out and the loyalty they showed.

I have done a lot of SHOPPING in my life and I CANT FIND A BETTER PLACE to get TO GET just about EVERY THING we need! I always know where to find my favorites. Plus I believe in the CUSTOMER SERVICE THERE is 110% Satisfactory!

Couldnt find an employee that spoke English. 5 visits in a row. Asked at least 4 workers last visit 1 kinda understood me but didnt know product I was looking for...??? Just dont know how they can hire so many people that cant speak English . last time I go there!

Outstanding store with a lot of international variety. The cashier was friendly and the bagger laughed with me when I asked him to bag like Tetris. All items organized perfectly for carry.Even the shoppers were nice with each other on a business Sunday, I saw 3 separate experiences with shoppers asking another to get an item high up on the shelf. It was a great experience over all.

It is always busy at the Danvers market basket. It doesnt matter when I go the best employees are the check out people. They almost always very nice even though a lot of the customers are horrible. Today I needed help finding something they had in the flyer but no one knew where to find it.... correction one out of the four people asked got me close to what I was looking for but I guess they didnt have the exact item in this store.

Excellent variety and quality of goods.Helpful, patient staff.Clean-up crew outside collecting trash.Premade sandwiches were disappointing with browned lettuce - made 2-3 days earlier.Store was packed with shoppers and stockers trying to keep shelves full.Every checkout line (17-20 stations) was open and queued 3-4 people deep when I arrived during lunchtime. A snowstorm is predicted for tomorrow. The photo shows greatly diminished lines after I finished shopping and the lunchtime rush passed.

It’s always busy . I’ve had to ask where to find items and either the employee does not speak English, they don’t know where the item is and or “let me ask someone that knows” and nobody comes back to help you . One time I was lucky and an employee pointed and said “over in that isle” but didn’t even give me an isle number . customer service isn’t their strong point .

No lines all the other customers were kind and courteous follow the arrows and wearing masks... the workers there were great also helped me when I needed help. I rather drive 20 mins to go to this market basket then the one in my city!!! The atmosphere is just so different!!!

Large open, well stocked aisles. Fantastic speciality areas such as the deli, bakery, fresh vegetable & meat departments. The Danvers Market Basket is my favorite go to food shopping marketplace.

Good prices but that’s all, they treat their employees with disrespect and it is a very very toxic work environment. I highly recommend going to any market basket other than the Danvers one, I don’t get sleep at night anymore because I have nightmares about how the Danvers market Basket is run. Nobody is held accountable for their actions, and the front end assistants are the most toxic part about that store!!! Go to Middleton, Gloucester, Salem, Lynn, seriously any location besides Danvers!!!!

It was the worse experience Ive had there.. A man grabbed me and told me to go out of store. I was trying to pull up the bandna up, I have a bad lung disease and Im at a higher risk, I told him to get his hands off me. He was so unprofessional, I cant believe they allow him to work there. Im sure its as bad a lot of different places. Everyone should be respectful and kind and help others. What is this world coming to. All be safe

I am not a fan of having to go to this particular Market Basket. Despite always being crowded with limited parking, grocery selections dont always seem to be stocked as equally as other MBs. I have also found that I encounter a lot more unpleasant employees here. A particular example is of my most recent visit. I did not have too many items, and upon noticing the woman bagging grabbing a second carriage, a pleasantly stated I would like to only use one. She snapped at me stating that there was no way all the groceries would fit in one carriage. Despite her unpleasant demeanor, I smiled and said, Well, unfortunately theres only one of me. I can help to make it work with one carriage. She repeated herself in an annoyed tone this time. I paid for my groceries, took my two carriages, the second only having five minimally packed plastic bags in it, and moved slightly forward. I simply moved all my groceries to one carriage without any assistance from her and left. I understand it is a less than ideal job, I have worked it before. But customer service jobs are never ideal necessarily. But theres no reason to be rude to customers that are not rude to you. And seriously, someone needs to train these people how to properly bag groceries! I do not need a new bag for every three or four items! 🤦🏼‍♀️Heck, Ill volunteer as tribute to train in proper bagging technique

Store was mostly clean but it was VERY busy... as most all Market Baskets are. Shelves were well stocked and I didnt notice any empty spots. I was amazed to see that EVERY single checkout lane was manned by an Associate!!! Even though lines had 2-3 customers, I waited no longer than 5 minutes to check out!

If I could give it no stars I would. This is the WORST Market Basket!! The employees are rude, the baggers put your chicken on top of bread (so make sure you pay attention)! If at all possible go somewhere else!!! Lots of training needed for all!!

They lose a star, because they never really straighten out shelves. They pull a few PCs forward to look like the shelves are full. Items are not where they should be and you have to watch out for pricing. Pricing is always cheaper in comparison to other markets. I just wish stocking was done better.

Too many Spanish speaking people that do not understand English in many departments and checkouts.One person wanted the price on meat . No understand English.Always speaking on the floor as they worked in Spanish.

First time Going there and Their Prices are decent, Cheaper than Stop and Shop, The aisles are very crowded both with stockers/Employees and customers so that can be a little overwhelming and annoying. The produce section is in the back in case you cant find it like I couldnt.

I had the misfortune of dealing with a Market Basket bakery manager named David: Even- though my girlfriend had a carriage loaded to the top with a couple hundred dollars of groceries, he stopped one of his workers from rewrapping 2 muffins from a package of 4, for my girlfriend, which he initially consented on doing for her.

Cashier very helpful, the store is very busy, people are not nice they will run over you rather than stop at the crosswalk, this person driving a black lexus, must of thought laws dont apply to him, the attitude of people carried into the store, I wont go back to this market basket, not because of the store or workers but the people who shop there are horrible.

Its pretty sad that when you come to shop on a Monday morning around 10 you cant get a head of lettuce or green beans, and half the shelves sre empty. When I put my items on the belt the way I want them bagged and the bagger who was an older lady drops my strawberries and picks them up puts them back in container and says it opened still want them seriously and then the some of my meat was put in a different bag with stuff I didnt want it to leak on. I would prefer to bag my own stuff if this keeps happening and its happened a few time too many.

Extremely busy today, but the staff were staying on top of things very well! Lines moved easily, shelves were stocked, employees very helpful, store was clean and easy to navigate!

The prices are pretty good. Most things are cheaper than the other big markets, especially if it is on sale. The people are always friendly. They only drawback is the lines can be crazy long. They move relatively fast but you need to leave extra time to shop on the weekends. Or before a storm.😁

Absolutely love this market basket. Employees are friendly and very helpful. Always have what I need. Love that they have the lines set up in a way that is easy to get what you need and leave.

Within the last year I have had issues with the purchase of several dairy products, deli products such as Mac and cheese in a tub, and frozen waffles.5 sour cream containers Ive purchased were cut through at the level of the lid so it wasnt apparent when I grabbed it.the macaroni and cheese was cut through just beneath the lid and was discovered when brought home.I purchased a box of natures path frozen waffles and when I opened the package A DAY later the entire thing was GREEN the plastic wrapping was so green I couldnt see any waffles inside of it. I contacted the natures path company to complain about the issue and they assured me it was a handling issue at the level of the STORE. The employees there are NEGLIGENT and their losing products left and right (be sure and return these items!)I mentioned it to a couple employees at the check-out counter and they basically said people were back in the warehouse cutting boxes and not paying any attention and that they dont care. They discussed this candidly but made no attempt to notify someone who could actually rectify the problem. They basically said make sure to return the items as I handed her YET ANOTHER sour cream container cut across just below the lid that I thankfully noticed before bringing home. I mean...the cuts arent small, theyre at least 6 inches or more across.This inconvenience and aggravation is enough to make me reconsider shopping here in the future.It seems people really do need training on how to properly open boxes using a box-cutter, and a lesson on accountability since theres no way a person cutting a box with such a heavy-hand had no idea they damaged the products beneath, because clearly, its been MULTIPLE products.

Love it! People their are the nicest around. Busy place, usually go between 7 and 8 am. Great quality and the produce is fresh. Sometimes they do not have what I need so I run into another place for that item. Everyone needs to do that. My one go to store.
