The shop foreman (Tony) is always customer focused he goes above and beyond to ensure the customer has a great experience. He is always focused on customer service. He is very knowledgeable about the equipment and explains to the customer what is required to fix the equipment. Also the front staff is always friendly and eager to assist when you enter the building.

Rating them 2 stars strictly for their rental prices. Supposedly it’s a veteran owned business but they don’t do any kind of vet discount. Also, so I returned the equipment at 2 pm when it didn’t have to be turned in till 8 the next morning. You’d think they would do a partial refund but they would not. I paid over $900 for 3 days of renting a front loader. Ridiculous! Will not be renting from them again. However, their tech in the back, Jason, was very kind and helpful.

This business has set the standard for all to follow, I have used them for equipment while clearing my property over the past year and a half and I am completely happy with their customer service and professionalism. If I were not retired I would want to work there due to the work friendly atmosphere. I plan on using only JBT in the future and I drive from Chunchula to do business with them.

Great friendly staff. I went in to buy a new carb for my not so trust Gravely. Instead of selling me a $300 part they sugested I start with a couple cheaper parts first. Thank goodness they were right. Saved me $275. Very trustworthy honest folk.

Awesome customer service. Power washer would not start. All he did was spray starting fluid and started right up. Works fine. Great service. Bought my mower from them 3 years ago . they service every spring and have had no problems. highly recommend JBT.

Took chainsaw in that was still under warranty to be serviced. Made sure it would be covered under warranty. Asked multiple occasions. Go to pick up & am told they did additional services not requested nor covered under the warranty. Was urgent to get the chainsaw back so wound up paying for it.2nd time! Go up there to get it serviced specifically go over whether it’s covered by the warranty & asked to be called if additional work not covered under warranty needed to be done. Surprisingly, they put a whole to chain on it when I took it up there cause it wouldn’t crank!!! What a scam!! Why buy a warranty if they won’t respect it!!

I have always had a great experience with JBT. Buying outdoor equipment, service, etc.. I rented a boom lift last week to use personally.I was not able to use the lift due to lack of room to maneuver the equipment. I was not able to use the equipment and returned the lift 1 hour 45 min later to the store hoping there would be a reasonable amends. I was charged $240 for a 4 hour minimum even though I was scheduled to have it 24 hours but had it less than 2 hours. I understand the concept of loss of rental, but if that was not the case then I am very disappointed in the outcome.

They have first class service! The front desk secretary is very nice and professional. And Tony the mechanic is very honest and skilled and very polite.. I highly recommend this place for servicing your equipment!

My husband and I took our riding lawnmower by JBT after Hurricane Sally. Our timing was even worse because it was closing time, the Friday afternoon after the Wednesday storm! All of Baldwin County was swamped with downed trees and the need for repaired equipment. But Tony Tillman took the time to look at our mower, before we could leave it, and fixed it right on the spot! I really like this locally owned company. I have rented heavy equipment, and shopped for tractors. They seem to stand behind everything they do, and that is an important distinction when choosing a company to do business with.

Bought some used equipment from these guys. AFTER I bought it they found several issues with it and replaced parts at their own cost and then delivered it to me on a friday! Excellent customer service. Very comfortable with my purchase.

Poor service. Lied about warranty. sold shoddy equipment that didn’t work right the first time we used it and they wouldn’t repair, replace, or return.

Sales people are knowledgeable. They answered my questions about the repair of my equipment. I thought the price was fair. Also, I rented a small ditch digging machine. They delivered and picked up on time, no issues with the machine. They hire women too, which I appreciate.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Bought a zero turn mower on a Saturday morning. The service staff worked late that day and assembled and delivered my machine the same day. Also rented a JLG lift recently and experienced an issue with it. They let me swap it out and have me a full extra day.

Excellent service like always! JBT did a complete overhaul on our trailer and and they are our go to facility for all of our Stihl lawn equipment. Tony and Patrick went out of their way to help out with both our mower and trailer.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the transparency about the return policy on Stihl products. Stihl has a brand wide 7 day satisfaction guarantee on a gently used item. You have 7 days to try an item and determine if its what you need for the job, if its not you can return it, EVEN IF YOU HAVE GENTLY USED IT. However, I had to call customer service to get this information because of conflicting things I was told by an employee here. The employee said to us as soon as we put gas and oil in it, its yours, no returns Which sure sounds a lot different than what Stihl upholds on their return policy. We have used and will continue to use Stihl products, but will not be returning to this location to purchase them.

As a woman, I sometimes find it intimidating to walk into a power tool store and deal with men, for fear that I may not be taken serious or that it will be assumed that I have no knowledge of the tools I am inquiring about. Not true of the crew at JBT Power!! From front to back, I was welcomed and assisted in such a respectful and informative manner. Tony and his crew took time with me to explain operational procedures, safety procedures as well as maintenance procedures for my new RB600 pressure washer. This is only one of several Stihl products that I own, but I am a girl who LOVES her power tools so they most certainly wont be my last. Thanks to JBT Power, I have found my go to store!! JBT Power is my go to place! Great sales group. Sales staff will make sure you get what you need and caution you if you are upgrading on a product unless thats your preference. My Exmark mower not only comes back to me every year from maintenance in great running condition but clean. After six years, it still runs like new. If you cant tell, I can only give nothing but praise to this business!

This marks the third time Ive been here shopping the Sthil equipment. Not one person said so much as a hello. Was also the only one in the showroom. Taking my business further down the road.

Top line equipment, professional friendly staff, quick turn around on service by reliable mechanics. I bought a Stihl edger, and a Vortex pressure washer from JBT. I have my Honda lawnmower serviced here. I trust these folks and like the business.

Staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Purchased a Stihl trimmer and it is working great.

I took my trailer to this dealer on March 1 to get seals replaced. This was suppose to be covered by warranty but the rep at JBT told me that it had to be approved. I was fine with that and on March 11 I called and was told it was fixed but I had to pay 852 dollars because warranty had not been approved. I paid thinking the approval was in process. After no communication for a week I called the big tex warranty division and was told that they hadnt recieved anything regarding my claim. Everytime I called the rep at big tex she told me a lie that it was in the warranty approval stage when clearly it wasnt. Based on this process my trailer would still be at the dealership waiting on approval. When I called the rep out about it she denied it and hung up in my face. JBT is totally unprofessional and should not be a big tex authorized dealer. Not one time have they called me to give me any kind of update. I spent 15000 on a trailer with leaking seals and they hung me out to dry with the warranty. I will never go back to this place. I actually referred to people to buy trailers from this place.

Terrible Customer Service

I took my pressure washer to them to determine why I couldnt get any pressure. Before I sent there I purchased an expensive hose and wand as well as a new set of pressure tips in an attempt to diagnose the problem myself. Jpt power called me some time later and informed me that pump was no good and asked if I would like them to trash it or would I like to pick it up? This was an expensive washer ($1,000) new and had ($200)worth of new accessories with it when I dropped it off at jbt powe. When I picked it up I discovered that one of their employees stole my new set of pressure tips ($40) and replased them with broken and faded tips that had scuff marks from the jaws of pliers on each one of them, thats funny seeing that theyve never been used .
