This is by far my favorite short stop store in Daytona Beach. It is always clean, staff is always friendly, the prices are also great. I will actually go out of my way to go to this store. You never know who you might see here too. I have to add that I was short some money yesterday and this sweet woman helped me out. Thank you for your kindness and thank you Wawa for being an awesome store.

Store 5287 Daytona Beach.I go there most mornings and sit outside and usually fill my car up every other day there.Was asked to leave this morning and told I couldn’t sit there all day. Called to speak to a manager and was refused to be allowed to speak to one. Completely different from the other ones in town.

I love those store even sometimes its been busy. However, the store manager is a sweetheart with a sweet soul. Also, in my opinion that they got the best fresh Columbus Coffee ☕ 👌 ❤

Bought a 16oz coffee there yesterday at 7:53am. The female cashier said my total was $1.90, yet my bank shows a transaction for $3.80. Last night I called Wawas 1800 number and the rep was able to pinpoint my transaction. He said it showed a 16oz coffee and a pastry, which is interesting as she asked me if just the coffee was it for my purchase. She did not give me a receipt. Can you say shady?? I told him I did not buy a pastry and he can look at the video. Meanwhile, he is sending me a $5 gift card since he says he cant credit my bank back. So, after I was stolen from, my compensation is a gift card to purchase something at their store??

Every time I call and get a manager there always rude and trying to be smart. For a company to be hiring and always being busy they should hire more people instead of being rude on the phone. Racetrac would never.

The 6 2 320+ lb. male security guard that worked late last night should try to please as well as protect the customers, employees, and store. Your sarcastic antagonizing banter with a woman nearly half your size and twice your age, was beneath you. I watched this pitiful display of behavior as you continued to badger her even after she complied and was leaving and I walked out directly after and went to 7 eleven instead.

Was at this gas station with my sister and we witnessed an employee being cussed at and disrespected by a customer and no one stepped in to intervene. management stood there and did nothing to protect their employee. absolutely disgusted.

Ordered some sandwiches, chips, and a Snickers. Everything was great, and doordash got it to me in 20 minutes. Everyone was telling me to try Wawa...I finally did, and WOW! I am in LOVE

Witnessed an employee get absolutely disrespected by a customer for NO reason and the manager(Heather) who was standing right there and heard all of this did NOTHING. I will never come to such an unprofessional, disgusting place ever again. That employee deserves a huge apology and that terrible excuse of a manager needs to be fired.

Good food, the manager had an attitude today. A lot of people just hang around there. I would recommend the one in Port Orange way more. The management is much better down there and much cleaner outside. There are always cop cars around this place.

Now I’m and educated, hard working individual myself but I have to say management there is a joke. I got a call from a manager one week and told to speak to a second one the following few days and that one has no recollection of what I’m talking about. I let that simmer and come to find out the first manager says their good. Which I’d be fine with except how he spoke to me about it, so for sure I won’t be shopping there and saving my coins. I am so disappointed that this WaWa is so unprofessional. I have tried to get lunch there 5 times and EVERY time was a complete disaster resulting in NO lunch and NO time to go anywhere else. It seems the major issue is with the App. The orders get lost and it offers items no longer for sale so the workers just move on and say nothing while the customer is standing there waiting on their food and losing lunch time by the minute. The idea is to serve the working population but it seems this WaWa serves the homeless population better. Never again, very sad!

So, let me start by saying this rating only comes from the outstanding customer service skills from the kitchen staff. Bonnie, the manager, Katie, and DeAndre were all amazing. I refuse to bash a business over one bad employee, but Jim, the cashier was just awful. When I say awful too, thats just an exercise in my mothers say nothing if you cant say anything nice at all mantra of my childhood. Im white, but I have zero tolerance for people who cant appreciate the world and its inhabitants for the individuality beauty we create. Again, the staff who cared made it a solid experience, but no way will I continue as a patron as long as this guy is here. Pay those cooks some.more money. They deserve it, FOR SURE.

The security was extremely rude!!! I work in construction so when I get off work Im very dirty. I believe the security thought that I was a vagrant because as soon as I walked up she was asking me if I was going to go in and buy something or I could not be in the table area. Very clean, great tuna sub, and they have my favorite soda, Mello Yellow. Service at the register was very friendly. This new location helps to improve this area.

100% wish I could give 0 stars. Worst wawa ever. I ordered two bagel breakfast sandwiches. First sandwich completely fell apart before even opening the packaging, rock hard stale bagel, AND A HAIR. I selected tomatoes for this one and there were none. The eggs were almost rubber like as well.For the second sandwich. Same thing. Stale bagel. I put NO TOMATOES and guess what was on the sandwich.... TOMATOES!!! IM ALLERGIC!!!! so I can’t even eat it. I also did not select bacon and there was bacon. And I cannot eat pork. When I opened the packaging up the avocados were completely smooshed everywhere all over the sandwich. I also selected sharp cheddar and there was none on it. I will be calling the store about this. Absolutely unacceptable and a huge waste of money. I will NOT ever come back to this wawa ever again. I should have looked at the reviews before going any ways. I’ll stick to my 4.5 star port orange wawa. (:

Worse place Ive ever stopped at!!!! No cups for fountain drinks so bought two bottles of water that were priced 2/$2.50, tag directly in front of product, and was over charged even after cashier went and checked price and I was told it was for ones on above shelf and was refused the price it was marked.

I was looking forward to the opening. But was very disappointed. I ALWAYS stop at Wawa when near. Your New Gate Blvd in Jacksonville is great and run very well. Daytona one needs work.

This Wawa is the Daytona Beach homeless shelter. Do not go early or you will be cornered at the pump by some surly street begger who is really hurting. Why dont they have some kind of security? Business might increase if you feel safe.

Being from NJ it was a thrill to get a WAWA in the area. IT’S A BEAUTIFUL STORE and has everything one could want with good customer service. Only thing I would say is a problem is the homeless hanging around the front. Makes for an uncomfortable situation and could turn people away. Hopefully corporate can do something about it

This place is dirty most of the time always out of at least 3 different types of coffee of course the ones that I like When you let them know they just say OK otherwise will either make a fresh pot or Offer a complimentary coffee whatever is there no matter what time of day you go its dirty especially the coffee area service is very for here definitely Not not on the same level as other locations that are much busier and still manage to keep fresh coffee and a somewhat clean coffee area I dont expect perfection WAWAusually has a lot of business This store is seriously disappointing I drive for a living and stop at what was quite often I have never seen one does poorly kept as this 1.

This is the worst wawa I go to. They are always out of stuff and have most of of the coffee flavors are not available after breakfast hours. I hit every wawa from ormond to new smyrna and out to Orlando. This one is by far the worst one I have ever been to. I dont think I will be back.

I was really excited for this location to open up, however I’m so disappointed to say that 2 out of the 3 times I’ve gotten prepared food there the order has been wrong. The food is good but clearly attention to detail isn’t something high on the training priority list.

They have always been nice! They even make my favorite sizzle when they have been out. We do not get this kind of service back in NJ.

The female security guard is beyond rude. She’s always sneering at any black or Hispanic person that comes in, harasses them, harasses the homeless that come in to BUY a cheap soda, has harrassed my friends and I as my friend had her cigarettes SITTING on the table, and wasn’t even smoking. She’s extremely racist and unprofessionally and if you know what’s best for your company you’ll find another security guard before you have a harassment lawsuit on your hands from the dozens of people I’ve seen her do this to. A trust me, I’ve seen some of them recording, and I will be next time so there’s more than enough proof.

Manager, Chase is racist. I am a Black woman who went to buy a snack and meet outside with one of my employeesto deliver his paycheck.When i pulled up in my vehicle i was immediately confronted by a security guard who told me she had warned my employee he could not wait outside for me.I informed her that I had nothing to do with what she told the gentleman before i got there.Chase, the manager then came out the store took one look at me (my employee is white) and said he wanted to make surethat we were not there to do a drug transaction even though he had seen me hand the man a check.When i asked for corporate headquarters number he tried to take back the statement.Corporate here i come!

Wawas are know for felling safe,but this on Ridgewood avenue and international boulevard in Daytona youre not safe.The homeless are all over the place that your afraid to use a restroom, there are people in there bathing.They are all over the tables outside.I do have a heart and do feel bad for there situation but this is a business not a homeless shelter.Management needs to get it under some kind of control.I really like wawas but Im gonna have to stop coming to this one sorry to say

Maaaan I love me some wawa but this specific location is literally sooooooo slow I can’t even stop before or after work. So so so so slow Nd so packed with homeless people.

I am used to ordering Wawa sandwiches from up North and they are awesome! I left early for work just so I could get a sandwich. However, I ordered a chicken breakfast panini and first received steak and not chicken on grilled bread. They corrected my order, but I did not receive a panini. Paninis are grill pressed...this was not. There wasnt any cheese, barely fresh salsa, the chicken was dry, and I had to put everything back on the sandwich and retoast when I got to work. I was really excited about this Wawa opening in Daytona Beach, but I think they need more training at the hot food counter. Really disappointed!

Too many homeless. Regularly out of stock on many common items. Three times in a month they didn’t have my brands of smokes. Today they ran out of biscuits. High price but incompetent management.

I work in downtown Daytona and stop at this location on occasion to buy a fountain drink. Almost every time I go, the drink machine is out of order.
