They almost always have those older impossible to find Harley parts. They arent cheap parts either. Good parts used and new old stock. If you ask for a part made from unobtainium, they may have one on hand.....

I was down in Daytona, Florida for Biketoberfest 2020. I just had a new electronic ignition installed a week before the event. My second day in Daytona the system failed. I was only running on one cylinder. So we took the coil off, hoping only that failed. We took it to Mark at Daytona Blackgold cycles to get tested. Mark tested it and it was good. So then we new it had to be the electronic ignition system. Mark sold me a new system. Mark took his time, explain to us how to install it and printed us out detailed instructions. I just wanted to thank Mark and the crew at Blackgold Cycles for being professional. During there crazy week in Daytona.

Called this morning regarding an ABS brake fluid flush on my Road King, was put on hold while the fellow that answered the phone spoke to the owner/service writer who clearly and audibly said Nope. Id rather not. These guys dont take care of their bikes, then bring them in here and we do the flush and all built up sludge causes problems with their $1000 ABS units that we cant buy. Just tell him we dont have the computer to do it. When the phone fellow returned, he said exactly that...they didnt have the computer necessary. While I appreciate his point of view, Id prefer upfront honesty instead of being lied to. I just moved to the area and was looking for an independent Harley shop...but if my first interaction is to be lied to about something so trivial, thats not very professional or honest. It makes me question what else they would lie about. I wouldve been happy with his REAL explanation, and still brought the bike in for other service items....but for every honest mechanic, theres a dozen dishonest...and this shows that, for today, at least, they fall under the less than honest category.

When I had an accident and needed to get back to work they sold me used parts I could afford to help me get back to work..I wouldnt go anywhere else for parts or service in Volusia County.

Great place for Shovelhead parts! We have a 76 Shovelhead and this is the only place that knows what they are talking about! Harley Davidson couldnt even help us. We wouldve taken our bike in, but due to the hurricane they couldnt take in any big jobs.

Do not take your motorcycle to this shop. They were suppose to fix my oil leak and a loud knocking sound on my Harley Davidson. Got it back still leaking oil and loud knocking sound. Waste of time and money. oh and my bars wouldnt lock when I got bike back. Took it to another shop and they said they are going to have to take top off engine to figure the issue out. And said it needs gaskets and possible rod issue. Which makes sense. Spend your money some where that knows what they are doing!

I brought my 1993 FLHTC to Black Gold to have the transmission repaired.When I got the motorcycle back from Black Gold I could not downshift properly. I almost got hurt when the motorcycle would not downshift to get me across traffic. I brought the bike back & told Mark that is was not downshifting properly.He took the bike for a ride & told me that it was okay even tho it was not okay. I put a stop payment on the payment to his shop. Eventually about a month later the motorcycle started to shift properly.I then let the payment be paid. Mark was no help in getting the problem resolved.He even condemned me.This in my opinion is not good business practice.

Guys are great!! I bent a front rotor on friday of Oktoberfest at Daytona. The owner said there was no way to fix it till monday. However he did have the part I needed. I needed it done asap due to my bike not being a trailer queen it was our only transportation. He told me to hold on. He got on the phone with a shop down the street Quick Draw . When he got back on the line with me he said he had just called quickdraw and they would do it and told me to call them. So picked up the part saturday morning from Black Gold went to quick draw and had it in and out fixed in about and hour. Both places are awesome. I thank Black gold and its owner for going above and beyond and not gouging an out of towner for parts and letting me know a good place to get it fixed and setting it up for me. These guys are awesome and will highly recommend them.
