We decided to check out The Marq when we first started planning our wedding and it was recommended to us. We loved the banquet hall and were excited that they had ceremony space options that would allow us to keep the entire event in the same location.Laura, the Catering Manager, was excited to help and happily answered every one of my many questions. In the months leading up to our day, she helped me to plan and make decisions about decor, food options and other details. When our rehearsal dinner and wedding day approached and we got to meet the rest of the staff and General Manager, Kevin, we were really blown away by their helpfulness - every person seemed like they genuinely love what they do.Our ceremony was at the Arbor, one of their two ceremony spaces, and our reception followed in the banquet hall. Our guests enjoyed a beautiful ceremony surrounded by willow trees, delicious food and dessert, a full bar, a dance floor and space outside to play yard games or sit and enjoy the fire pit. It was perfect, there were no hiccups whatsoever (at least none that we were made aware of), it was exactly what we had envisioned, and it was all made possible as The Marq went above and beyond.Just to speak a little more into how great the staff is, we stopped in for Fish Fry on Friday, and they remembered us, remembered details about our wedding and were excited that we had come back to visit.There is so much more we could say, but will conclude with this. The Marq helped us make our wedding a perfect day, we have no doubt they would do so for you, too. We could not more highly recommend this place.

One of the best supper clubs I have been to. Great food and Service. Robert took the time to talk to our children and treated them.with class. The wait staff was amazing. One of the best salad bars in the area. We are planning on going back soon.

Outstanding Friday Night fish at the Marq. The atmosphere is very classy. Even though it is designed for banquets, it serves dinner well too. Food was superb and service was excellent with a personal touch from the owner himself. Plenty of room for seating and at the bar for pre dinner cocktails. Pleasantly surprised that it wasnt as crowded as other places on a Friday night. Thank you The Marq for a very enjoyable dinner and evening out!

A+ all around, my fiancée and I came in just to check out the venue as a normal customer and everything from service to food was great! They accommodated very well to a late arriving party. Also even extended our dinner past the order cut off time without pressure. Highly recommend and we hope to Secure our wedding reception here in the near future, Great job!

We had our wedding ceremony, dinner and reception here on May 15th and cannot thank everyone enough. They went above and beyond to make our day special. The first time we met with them they treated us like family and still continue to do so. Our guests cannot stop raving about how beautiful the venue was, how delicious the food was, how great the drinks were, how welcoming and friendly each and every person was, and how absolutely breathtaking the fireworks were. We highly recommend The Marq for everything from your special event to a night out with friends. I wish I could give them a 10 star rating because they definitely deserve it they delivered nothing but perfection!!!!!!

Very good food, and good size portions for the price. Where else do you get 5 perch butterflies on a perch dinner? Fries are also great. They are the kind that stay crispy as they cool. Tartar sauce is also excellent. Great service and a large dining room with socially distanced tables. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that the mixed drinks are poured kind of weak for what they charge, and they dont tell you in advance that there is a 2.9% surcharge for paying with a credit card. Maybe its somewhere in fine print but we didnt know about it until our bill was higher than expected and had to ask why.

Held our wedding ceremony and reception here. Everyone was nice, friendly and amazing during and before the event. We only rented half the ballroom and was perfect for our small wedding.

First time here for dinner last night, June 9th. We dined at about 7:30 so there wasn’t very many people there. It did make me nervous for such a bug place and the only guests were at the bar. However, everything we ordered was FABULOUS! We started off with the calamari. Those were a delicious appetizer but what excited me was the French Onion Soup! It was so good! I would have bought it by the gallon to take home, it was delicious. My husband was blown away by the Clam Chowder soup, amazed at the size pieces of clams that were in it and not just one piece per bowl like other typical restaurants. My husband ordered the surf and turf and thought that was a good choice. Our kids shared the breasted chicken plate. The chicken was super moist! I think my favorite part of the meal was the Maître d’ he called himself, came to our table and asked how everything was tasting. Very personable man and enjoyed our conversation. He ended the conversation with a fist bump with my oldest and went back to work. All around, great food, beautiful building and will definitely come back!

$2 tacos on Tuesdays! $5 margaritas! Both were very good. Staff is friendly and talkative as well.

We live very nearby the Marq and decided to finally try it for my hubbys birthday. I pity the staff as there are about half enough people working. The drinks were amazing as was our very friendly, hard-working bartender! The wings and bread basket were good. The main entree was extremely overpriced, overcooked, and after a 2-hour wait, a bitter disappointment to say the least. The extremely pleasant and overworked server gave us a complimentary dessert, which we took in a to-go container. Her name was Elizabeth, and she deserves a raise! Bottom line, we dropped about $100 on 5 drinks, some wings, and bread. I hate to say it, but I doubt this place will last!!

One of my best friends had there wedding here a few weeks ago. Such a beautiful spot under the willow trees. The food and staff were very professional and friendly. Had a great time and would recommend having a wedding here.

Everything about our wedding at the Marq was well above our expectations. Great venue, great food, amazing fireworks, and amazing staff that made this a night everyone in attendance will remember for a long time. Thanks for everything!

Wife and I stopped in for Friday Fish Fry. The Old Fashioneds were handmade and very good. Drink prices are reasonable and the Double Bubble was a great deal. My wife had the fried Haddock and she said it was the best shes ever had. I had the fried Walleye and it was amazing as well. Both had a unique seasoning that is different from the typical supper club fare. Both were served with fries and the seasoning again was great on the fries. The tartar sauce they use must be homemade, again not your typical NE Wisconsin tartar sauce, same goes for the coleslaw. We thought the prices were maybe a bit high but the taste, portion size, and drinks will bring us back. There were a lot of staff there. The size of the place lends itself to social distancing we felt very safe. The owner is friendly and walks around greeting guests. We were kind of blown away.

An amazing place to eat at or book a dinner whether its a wedding, holiday party, or just a celebration of any kind I would suggest looking into this place!!!

The Marq supper club was excellent. Great service & happy hour, & the food was superb. A little pricey but the food was worth it.

We have been here prior to new ownership and I always told my hubby I wish this place was a supper club. And voila! So here it is! Super excited to experience The Marq as a regular restaurant. The atmosphere here is truly amazing. The bar manager Kevin is a great welcoming drink master. What a nice guy! We had a few drinks by Kevin then we went to sit at a quaint table. Jake greeted us with menus and such a great personality! We had the beef barbacoa and fish tacos. Wow. Amazing. Then I ordered a small bowl of mac n cheese. OH.MY.GAWD! Amazing. We were so blown away by everything we told our waiter Jake to tell the chef how amazed we were. Jake responded with Ill go get him! Chef came out to talk to us about his recipes and shared some secrets about them. I asked him about where he was cheffing prior and he told us lambeau field. He served the Packers including Aaron Rodgers, what a bunch of great stories he shared with us. Truly an amazing experience. Cant wait to go back.

Nice place for hosting work gathering or large group meetings. Ive attended many work events here and the catering and setup work well. They also projector setups for presentations.

Just had an event at the Marq this past Friday. Would HIGHLY reccomend. Staff was extremely professional, helpful, and responsive. Our work setting up the event was much easier because the staff and Marq team were so helpful.

My brother and his wife celebrated their 10 year wedding anniversary by renewing their vows on the grounds of The Marq. I was honored to officiate the occasion.It is a beautiful setting for the ceremony and the pictures but being outside and within earshot of the highway there was some traffic noise. But all in all it was an awesome experience all around.

Top notch, 1st class. Thats where my sons wedding reception was. They did a terrific job. Getting married? Book this place. I recommend it. You wont regret it.

Saturday Prime rib is really good

They only reason for the one star is staff and ready on time but the food tastes awful. They came for a company picnic at bay beach had hot dogs, brats, hamburgers and chicken. Potato salad pasta salad and vegetable try with dip. All of the meat tasted bla. The salads where the worst I have ever eaten. The dip also lacked flavor.

Bartenders and servers have Great customer service skills and the ambiance was appealing. Thank you so much Andy, Sandy & Halle! What a great reception ♡

Beautiful, Nice big bar area. Tables are gorgeous. The only problem is the Marq is not serving alcohol. We are sitting here early for a wedding!

Very friendly staff, very accommodating sales department. Everything they handled for our wedding reception went like a dream. Absolutely worth the price to be able to hand everything over to them with the peace of mind knowing they would come through.

The Marq catered our daughters wedding in Kewaunee. They did an excellent service, the head staff person at the wedding was Corissa who communicated well with us, and was always very helpful and professional. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The meat was delicious, the mashed potatoes great and the vegetables remained crisp despite being catered 30 miles away. Thanks!!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Vandervest Harley Davidson Olde 41 on April 26, 2019. All of our guests raved about the food and were extremely pleased with the ice cream bar we had in lieu of the typical wedding cake. The Marq far exceeded our expectations. The staff was wonderful as well. Thank you for making our reception fantastic!

Second time we went for their buffet, first time was for Mothers day last year & now for Easter. For Mothers day last year they provided free single stem carnations to give to the mothers & pictures I believe as well. Easter they provided a free picture with the Easter Bunny, which my daughter got a kick out of, & free piece of candy.Food is really good, they have the usual breakfast buffet staples, carving station, omlet station, dessert room with a huge chocolate fountain (which all the kids enjoy), & salad bar. I would recommend if you have an infant that cant sit in a high chair & would need to remain in the infant car seat while you eat to maybe include them in the reservation so you can put car seat on chair because it is too crowded to have car seat on the floor & maybe request that you have a single table to yourself if you are a smaller group. Service is always amazing as well.

Nice place for a reception, good food and service. Sewer/manure odors in parking lot from neighborhood property was a distraction at the end of the day though. Located in a rural setting.

They ran out of food within 20 minutes at our wedding. Poor customer service. Spent a lot of money and most of the guests at our wedding did not get to eat. Embarrassed we used them for our big day.

The Marq catered our wedding and did a wonderful job! We worked with Jessica who was amazing to work with. She got back to us on all of our emails quickly and worked with us to find what we wanted in a reasonable price range for our big day. The day of the wedding went smoothly in the catering department. They were all set up and ready for guests to begin eating. We did a buffet style/heavy hors doeuvres, since we had so many guests we wanted everyone to have time to mingle instead of watching us eat for 2 hours, and it went so smooth! We had many compliments on the food. I did so much research before hand and for what we had to eat (pulled pork on a pretzel bun, shredded chicken, coleslaw,mac and cheese, and a few other things) this was the best price for the quality of food that we had. Towards the end of the food serving time, Jessica made sure to come up to me and make sure that it was okay to take down the food.It went perfect.The only setback was at the Marq had decided to bring cheesy mashed potatoes just in case people didnt like the mac and cheese as another starch option and had only prepared mac and cheese for 80% of the guests. This meant that around 20% of our guests didnt get to try the mac and cheese (which is around 60 some people since we had a little over 300 people there). When I talked to the Marq they explained they decided that they were bringing another starch just in case. The problem was that this was not discussed with me or the groom. We already had potato salad as another starch option in case people didnt like the mac and cheese. Other than this small little miscommunication, everything else went perfect.I would recommend the Marq to anyone looking to book with them for an event. The food was delicious and the price was reasonable.

I have gone to many banquets and events at the Marq. Food was good along with service. They can handle huge groups.

Went this Easter. Was not impressed. Food was cold and not fresh. Waitress was a real air head. Asked for a highchair and they brought me a booster chair. I cant use a booster to hold a carseat! Our reservation was pushed back by 35 minutes. Oh well I wont be coming here again.
