Very bad experience with this location for the following reasons. 1) I called two weeks before the month end to cancel my account but they still charged me 113$ after the cancellation. 2) there is rats in this storage space (I parked my car in a close storage and had a rat traps under my car (they were at least 3 rats in the first month and I have pictures and videos to approve). I hope it did not get to my car wires. 3) I tried to call the office to solve this issue multiple time and left a voice mail. Nobody called me back since last week. I did give the owner a chance to call me back before posting this reviews. They keep deleting my review and I will keep re-postin

This place used to be a real nice storage place when it was Metro storage. The people were pleasant, the place was cleaner & I had more access to my storage because of my condition. All these people care about is the money!!!!

Sandy was a great help. She was so patient and knowledgeable. She deserves a raise. Some of the customers were irate and she kept her cool and stayed professional.

Sandy and Trina were awesome and very nice. I had a issue with my reservation they were able to get it resolved very fast. And I love their personalities. I look forward to saying hi when I come by ❤❤😊😊

I apologize for the delayed post about my experience, but I had to wait until I was stationary!!I was a walk-in because I didnt know that I shouldve made an appointment. Trina and Sandy were awesome and took good care of me anyhow!!! I received a walk thru to the unit and advice about ways to properly store my property because this is my very first experience needing a storage space. I just want to thank them for their patience, understanding, and excellent service!!!!

The prices seem to keep going up. They need to put lighting in the storage units. Too dark to see anything.

Decided to get a storage unit a few months ago. Paid in advance for a couple of months & the storage unit decided to lock us out of the unit for “not paying” when an employee said we moved out.When we told the manager we paid for it in advance she gave us a late fee, credit, & then told us she was going to auction our unit.

Sandy was great and made this easy peasy.

Upon entering nowadays dont be alarmed, its not the ghetto their in the process of remodeling. Inside the storage buildings it really smells fresh.

Found this storage facility online. Came in trying to get more information on the units. Trina was very informative. Helped me find the right unit for my needs. She’s got my sale all the way.

Trina is rude and NASTY!!! Doesn’t do her job correct and when u call her out on it she hangs up on you! Never should you hang up on a customer that pays over $100 a month at your location, matter fact how about don’t treat ANY customer in that matter!! Word of mouth will make it break your location so Trina I advise u to get it together I have contacted corporate as well!

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The front door is always locked for whatever reason while the employee sits inside and ignores you. The manager “Ahmad” is by far the most rude person I have ever encountered in customer service. They increase your storage unit price at their convenience. Suggestion. Stay away!!!!

I would love to take a moment and shout out Ahmad for the wonderful service and follow up with my storage unit. He followed up everyday and was so patient with me when I was goin though hard times and gave me the time to reschedule and come back when I had the chance. If u need a unit and looking for A 1 service go in and ask for Ahmad. He will help u out with all your needs.

The service we recieved was excellent. Sharon was incredibly patient and helpful. Storage unit both size and price was very accommodating. And to top everything off, it was clean and smelled amazing.

Ever since Store Space took over the Metro Storage Dearborn location their customer service has been abysmal. They increased the fees by over 50% and added in insurance requirements that were never needed before the transition. It was so bad I decided to move out the next month after being with Metro Storage Dearborn for over 3 years.When I moved out on the 4th of January, the store clerk at the location let me know they would not be charging me at all if I moved out all my items on the same day. When I did and went back to close it out with him I was told that he had left on a personal emergency by their corporate phone operators. I asked for a manger to call me back and explained that he had told me they would not charge me any fees for the month since it was the 4th and the unit was cleared. I took detailed pictures and emailed them to the phone operator and was assured that someone would contact me back in 48 hours. I never heard back, but they did manage to successfully charge my card for the FULL months amount. I called back in and was told another 24 hours. Crickets. Called in after another 24 hours and was told that a district manager was supposed to get a hold of me and never did. Give them another 24 hours. So I did. Nothing. I finally called back in for the 4th time and let them know I would be initiating a chargeback if I didnt hear from someone there by the end of the day. 5pm rolls around, chargeback initiated, no call. I sit here 5 days later with still zero response from their district manager or ANY employee for that matter. Heck, if they respond to this post, this will be the first contact Ill have had from them at all. Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere that is not taken over by corporate America. Help out a locally run storage facility, not a conglomerate that never returns phone calls. They probably wont even respond to this either, but if someone reads it, my old storage number is 6062 and Id still love a call back from literally anyone there.

I made reservations on line and upon completion I received a call from Ahmed within 5 minutes to schedule an appt. to view my unit. Amhed showed me the unit and it was nice and clean. Amhed was very attentive and acknowledged everyone that walked in the door. Amhed has a very good disposition.Keep up the excellent work Metro Storage!5 stars!!!!!

The staff were very professional. I was not told about a move in fee, I was not happy about that. I was quoted two different prices by two different people, and they make it seem like insurance is mandatory (it is not) so they nickel and dime you with hidden fees. Just like a hotel. tell me all my fees up front and dont make it seem like insurance is mandatory....
