Have always had my car serviced and worked on here and have usually had positive experiences. I was able to schedule my appt online for a Saturday morning which was convenient. However, the last time I had work done there was some miscommunication about the cost which was frustrating. This time, when I had my oil changed and tires rotated, I noticed the tire pressure was not adjusted for front/rear tires. Also, there was an oily fingerprint on the inside roof, by the window sticker, where there was another oil smudge. Minor, but I in the end, I had some cleanup and time in adjusting the tire pressure back to where it was when I brought it in.

At this location my salesman Tyler Montgomery, was super helpful and very efficient. He was very patient, and allowed me to test drive every vehicle that I showed interest in. He then allowed me to continue to look and even encouraged me to find a car that I truly loved and not just liked. Mr. Montgomery and his sales manager Brandon Nimmo allowed me to come back multiple times to look at the car and bring my wife in to look at the car as well. After reviewing the car, they allowed me to take it to a mechanic that I trusted to look at the car as well so I could make sure that the car was in the condition previously presented. The car was exactly what they had presented it at, they did not hide anything from me, the price was more then fair, and sold me an amazing car that I have fallen in love in the short amount time I have owned it. This being the first car that I personally purchased and financed on my own their finance manager Patrick Ross was very helpful and patient in helping me understand a acquire all the paperwork needed to get this car financed. All in all, my experience and the process of buying this car was amazing and very painless. I would recommend anybody buying a car used or new, use these salesmen and their finance manager. I have been looking for a Jeep for a few months and found one I liked online with Tom Kelley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Decatur. Not wanting to spend a lot of time in a dealership, I emailed them and Kenny responded requesting to help. I let him know what I was looking for and willing to pay and he went to work right away. My wife and I went in the next day to finalize the deal and pick up the Jeep. My wife doesnt like the car buying experience at all becuase of past experiences, but at Tom Kelley it was different. We did not feel pressure at all throughout the process and she said this was the best experience she has ever had buying a car from a dealership. Kenny and his Sales Manager Brian did a great job! When we are in the market for another car this will be the first place we look, even being 45 min away it will be worth the drive because we know we will be treated right.

So depressing I was there giving my information for a vehicle and was kind of excited then to come find out someone else had appointment to view it so I was out of luck got put on back burner when I was physically on the premises and the other people werent and neither of us had put a down payment on it so the one that was physically there at dealership should have came 1st

Used car buyer beware! This rating has nothing to do with the salesman but rather the dealer as a whole. I purchased a 3/4 ton diesel truck from this dealer and was told it was given the highest inspection a used car could get from their dealership and was in great shape. On arrival the truck had a lot of paint work done to it which wasnt a major deal but still not considered great shape. I was ok with the paint work and was willing to accept that for the age. There was also a few other minor things that were not a big deal but on the test drive I noticed the front brakes would pulsate some when stopping. I pointed this out and they didnt have much concern and again pointed out it went through their shop at the highest inspection possible. I was still interested in the truck but either wanted it fixed or work out a little better price on the truck. This process was not an easy one and they thought that the truck price was discounted enough and didnt need any further reduction but in the end we worked out the price. I purchased the truck with trade/cash and took it home. Within the next 3 days I had the truck in the garage to have the brakes checked over and found that the front rotors where rather old looking and of course warped and could not be turned. I then decided to inspect the rear brakes for safety and discovered the right rear rotor was almost paper thin and ended up cracking when attempting to remove it. In the end I purchased all new rotors and pads for the truck. I proceeded to contact the manager over this safety concern at which they allowed a vehicle to leave their dealer in this condition. The manager had no concern with this issue other than to follow up with his service dept and that was it. He would not give any type of compensation for this brake work and felt that I got enough of a discount on the truck that it shouldnt matter. This was the 3rd vehicle I purchased from Kelly and drove over 3hrs one way to look at this truck. After this experience I dont expect I will buy another one from them nor will I recommend them.Update:Patrick I spoke directly to you and even have a voicemail on my phone from you along with a few emails to/from the salesman stating he passed on my concerns to you. If you would like to remedy this and show the readers of google reviews that you were willing to address this then feel free to contact me by email or phone.

Pricey but they do get you in & out as quickly as they can

I was out of town on training (10 hours from home) when my wifes Nissan had a terminal transmission problem. I called Tom Hawkins at Kelleys in Decatur for assistance. Tom was phenomenal! I told him what cars we were looking for and the price we wanted to pay. Tom provided us with a list of several options. I was able to discuss those options with my wife. We narrowed our options down to three. Tom had all three cars lined-up for my wife to look at and test drive in one visit. Tom and his sales manager also offered a fourth option: a 2016 Chevy Malibu that they thought we may like based upon our criteria. We ended up buying the Malibu.Never did I think it would be so easy to buy a car from several states away, but Tom facilitated our purchase that alleviated all stress. Tom took care of my wife throughout not only with test drives, but he personally delivered a loaner car to her until the Malibu was ready for delivery a few days later allowing her to return the loaner car to Nissan.Based upon our recent experience with Kelleys compared to the customer service received at Nissan, we are Kelleys customers for the unforeseen future. We were treated like family although we had never dealt with Kelleys previously.I highly recommend Kelleys and Tom Hawkins of Kelley Ford in Decatur! When we purchase our next vehicle, they will be our first and most likely ONLY stop.

Buying experience was good and professional which is what I would expect from a well known dealership like Kelley. My issue was two days after purchasing a used car the radiator blew a leak which my mechanic stated should have been noticed during prior inspection. While I understand the used cars are bought as is I expected more from Kelley. When I called them to see if they could help out or meet halfway on repair the best they offered was 10% off and an appointment two weeks out...

Purchased a used Jeep from Tyler from my wife! We usually drive very far for a good deal, and Tyler made our experience fast and easy. He sent us serveral videos of the vehicle and got us approved before coming in. Everything was easy and upfront and I would recommend seeing Tyler if you want to shop there.

I had an outstanding experience with Kelley Automotive in Decatur and it was well worth the drive from Fort Wayne. Savannah was the sales representative who helped me and she was fantastic. She did a great job listening to what I was looking for and what I was willing to spend and then she showed me a number of options. She asked some really good questions which helped me narrow my decision down until I reached the perfect truck for me at a great price. Confident, knowledgeable and customer oriented are the words that best describe Savannah and the team there. I have only positive things. I found the car I wanted on Kellys website, andfrom start to finish I got everything I wanted. Jeremy Daughtery was very knowledgeable, helpful, and honest.The service department also took care of the couple things I asked for ina very short time, and I got to roll away with confidence.From financing to finish, I feel that I got a safe, good looking, great deal!Thanks to all of the Kelley Automotive group for getting me the car I was looking for.

Ive had a very poor experience with the Tom Kelley Chevrolet service department in Decatur and i want to share it for others sake. I took my wifes 2015 Traverse in because it had a service engine light on and they found a purge valve that was covered under a recall causing the issue so this was replaced at no charge. While there they inspected the vehicle and found two other major issues. The front timing cover was leaking and the power steering pump was also leaking. The vehicle had about 90,000 miles so the front timing cover issue was covered under the drive train warranty but the power steering pump was out of warranty and the steering rack and pinion also needed replaced. They gave me an initial estimate for the out of warranty repairs at $3000 but later advised that this would be lower from overlap labor because they had to pull the engine to repair the leaking front timing cover and i gave them the approval to proceed with the repairs. After they had the engine apart they found the timing chain had stretched so they informed me they needed to replace it at no charge under warranty. The first problem occurred when they informed that after they put the engine back together and was tested they realized the timing chain had jumped a tooth so damage was done to the pistons. Initially they said the heads were not damaged but later found there were bent rods so the heads had to be rebuilt along with replacing the pistons, rings, rods, & bearings. The next problem occurred when they informed me that a service technician installed the rings incorrectly and they gouged the cylinder walls so the block had to be sent to a machine shop so new sleeves could be installed. They did give my wife a loaner Chevy Cruz to drive but this was not comparable to the Traverse she had been driving and she was also informed that she could not eat or drink in the car and also that only she could drive it and this went on for over 60 days while repairs were made. Another problem was when after 30 days and another Traverse payment later she had to return the loaner Cruz and this occurred late June when it was 97 degrees and she was scolded for having a cup of ice tea (that had a can cooler on it to keep from leaving a moisture ring) and she was also told that people from the service department have seen her go through the McDonalds drive through and then eat in the care - she informed them this was a false accusation and that she had never ate in the car. I should also add that the service manager informed me that he let the technician go who installed the rings incorrectly and about this time he let me know that they would give me a discount on the steering pump repairs due to all the problems and delays with the engine repairs. When they finally let me know the repairs were completed I told them we needed to agree on how much of a discount we would receive and I asked them to completely cover the out of warranty repairs due to all the inconveniences and the now reworked engine. The service manager said he would need to consult with his boss who was on vacation and later informed me that he was able to speak with him and also his boss who i would assume would be over the entire Decatur facility and all they were able to offer was a 10% discount on those out of warranty repairs. I told him that i felt this was totally unsatisfactory and that I would pass along our very poor experience with others as well as never let them work on any of our vehicles again. Based on our dealings with this situation I would not recommend this dealership for any of your vehicle needs.

Simple and easy! Bought a 2007 Chevy Tahoe and she runs great. Defects were noted on the vehicle prior to sale. They replaced the Tire pressure sensors for us at no charge. Im very pleased with our transaction.

Andy was wonderful to work with. Kelley didn’t have what I was looking for and thought I had found something at a different dealership. Where do I start?! I went in looking for a vehicle for my fiancé and these guys where phenomenal!
