One of the best sephora stores, I was looking for a rio de janeiro body splash and I went to 2 sephoras around Boston and it was sold out but in the store I founded. Not a busy store. Friendly employees. Now I just go to this sephora store.
RUTH was AMAZING! I was in a crazy rush for an event and needed a good makeup place so I could get out fast and get ready. Ruth was so kind, patient, knowledgeable on the products in which I still use and love! Super helpful with my shenanigans. Thanks a bunch Ruth 💕

Staff was not helpful. Seemed like I had to go look for help. Not sure they are more willing to help an African American woman as fast as a helping any one else. This has happened more than once
Location is good, I do get headaches in there if Im in there too long because of the smells but that might just be me. Its good to go in short bursts, and if youre looking for a gift ask the workers there theyre always very helpful and friendly

Ive never been a fan of the Dedham Legacy Place location. They dont carry a lot of brands & have limited stock. The customer service can be much better

I Love this Sephora! They had the make up and perfumes that I love. Also, the associates are very nice, friendly and welcoming! They made sure that I got all that I needed. And if you ever need a sample, they are more than willing to give it.

I walked in to just get highlighter and 3 employees were standing around and not one person said hi to me...they just stared at me with annoyed expressions. They didnt have what I needed on the floor but I didnt want to bother anyone to see if they had it in the back. I love Sephora but wow.

I had a very poor experience with customer service here. Usually the employees in other Sephora locations are helpful and charismatic but I walked in one night (really no where close to closing time). There were several employees just standing around and one other customer. I went in for one of those pricey tanning mousse products. No one offered assistance and when I made it blatantly obvious that I was looking for help I received an attitude as though I was bothering the employee (slightly older dark haired lady). I was totally underwhelmed with the lack of interest and overall bad attitude and customer service skill so I left and bought my cosmetics at Ulta.

Do not go to this store if you are expecting quality service. I went in today looking for Fenty Beauty when I walked in I was not greeted...ok. While searching for the items I wanted multiple employees walked passed me and did not acknowledge me ...ok. I noticed that the product I wanted was not in stock I went to a female employee (black girl with a long curly weave) I asked for help —she placed a finger in my hand to indicate hold on. She was not with any customer instead she was just talking to another employee.I was so annoyed by this I just left. Very unprofessional.

Honestly the girls are so rude. I asked a simple hey do you have.... question. It took them 20 minutes and me asking them 3 separate times at 8pm at night. The girl behind the counter said oh shes still here, ha. Can you just tell her. So I walked out.
Worst customer service!! Walked in and wasn’t greeted by any of the multiple employees standing by the door. The worst of them was whom I believe might actually be the manager. Whoever that older woman was (not dressed in regular Sephora black/red uniform) had a very distasteful and extremely rude disposition. Not once was I asked if I needed help. Will not be back to this location.
As a rouge member, Im appalled at this Sephora. Employees lack knowledge and customer service or even just a basic smile. If you know what you need, itll be a quick in and out trip. This is a travesty to be called a Sephora, there are better ones out there.
Great experience this weekend. I was looking for the full size Tarte color splash lipstick in the color salt lyfe. A sales associate offered me help finding it, and when I inquired about a waterproof brown color mascara, she went right to work finding me one that I absolutely love. Everyone was very friendly and my Sephora experience continues to be wonderful no matter what location I visit.
I went in the other day with my sister and cousin, like we have many times before. Every other time we have gone in we were welcomed and asked if we needed help with kindness and respect. However this last visit was far from the norm. When we entered the store we were greeted by the sales team, which I appreciate, but what transpired next has shaken me to my core. As my sister, cousin and I walked around the store testing out lipstick colors, we noticed a bald light skin male lurking near us. As we went to different areas of the store, this man continued to follow us. We continued to walk around and test our theory, and everywhere we went, he followed. After my sister bought her eyebrow pomade, we left the store and the man went back to the back of the store. We reentered the store to tell one of the sale associates about our experience and were told well thats the manager so... The bald man named Kenny came out and we asked him why he was following us through out the store. He proceeded to say with a sly attitude this is my store and I can walk where ever I want I told him thats he was being inappropriate and that he made us feel uncomfortable. He then tried to flip the blame on us saying If you werent doing anything wrong then you shouldnt have felt bad. So not only did this manager Kenny not introduce himself once or ask us if we needed any help, he tried to blame the victims for why he was being rude and racially profiling us. 2 college students who work there tails off and a middle school teacher. I am very disappointed with this experience and this manager Kenny. I do not feel comfortable going back there or thinking about my students going there after this incident, which is saddening because Sephora was the place where I fell in love with makeup.
I went into the Dedham Sephora because I wanted to get my daughter a mothers day gift. I am am Beautiful Black Woman and was stocked by the manager to the point of no end. Even as I paid for my items by which came to 116.00 dollars she was not satisfied. Even the clerk who was so friendly to customer before me, gave me vibes and the. After spending so many years in Dedham, I was shocked to see how so called better than my hard earned dollar that have become. I will be contacting the Corporate office. This is not over. I did nothing wrong, and I was alone, I had a coffee in one hand and my pocket book in another. I called her and she knew exactly who I was, all she could do was listen because she was so shocked that it was me on the phone. She thought that I didnt notice.
The Sephora at Legacy Place may not be as large as some of the other locations (i.e. Prudential Mall) Ive been to, but I usually enjoy my visits here as a self-proclaimed makeup junkie despite the hectic parking situation. Also in many instances when limited edition BI/VIB gifts are released it can sell out quickly at my home Sephora (Chestnut Hill) so this is my backup option to see if they have the items available!Most of the staff/cast members are friendly and helpful. Ive come here with one of my friends and she was looking for makeup wipes and she was able to get help immediately and view the variety of options that the store had.My favorite part is probably scoping out the small section of sales near the back that has some gems from time to time. Ive seen some great deals that sold out quickly on the website and were still available in the store!
Always out of stock..... No-one will ever ask for if I need assistance. And Ive been watching those just chatting w each other and no attention to the customers... Sad
