Finally tried J.P. Licks! It was OK ice cream. We got a large with peanut butter cookies and creme, pumpkin, and caramel apple. The pumpkin and caramel apple flavors were pretty similar to each other, so it was hard to differentiate.At least the scoops were big!

The staff is so amazing here! There was a young lady with short hair who helped my family and I. She was so nice and kind, it was by far the best customer service I’ve received in months. Definitely will be returning soon.

Love their coffee ice cream and their hot fudge. On my last visit, they had a fresh peach ice cream among their daily specials. It was excellent!

This is hands down some of the best icecream in the world. And my dog whole heartedly agrees. I love the variety and toppings and the little extra choices in the fridge and counter like icecream cookie sandwiches or cupcakes.And my dog LOVES their dog icecream, a peanut butter sorbet. When he just sees the famous pink cup he starts barking and jumping to get it out of my hands. Everyone and their dog loves J P licks.My only reason for not having 5 stars is that my dad can only really enjoy sorbets and there usually arent more than 2 choices.

I must say my visit to the jplicks in legacy today was definitely the best experience I’ve had to date. The young lady there was quite a delight and must say would recommend everyone to stop by 10/10

They have a great variety! I got some good advice from the staff too. The best part for me was that everything was kosher!There are lots of seats and interesting art on the wall. I liked it there

What a great ice cream shop. Perfect for an afternoon treat. The creaminess of the ice cream here is to die for. Try the Ube for something different and exciting. Highly recommend!

Very disappointed $27 for 4 small ice creams with a topping or two each. No cookie dough in the coukie dpugh ice cream, no strawberries in the strawberry ice cream and the cookies and cream was chochate based???

Wonderful staff! Went above and beyond! I did a delivery of a few sundaes for a friends birthday and asked if they could include just a slip of paper that said Happy Birthday on it, and they did one better and made a little birthday card and put it in with the order. I greatly appreciated it! And as always the sundaes were delicious!

Just left this place..ADDITUDE is AWFUL! NEVER GOING TO THIS PLACE AGAIN The girl needs to learn how to interact with customers. No customer service skills at all !

So I ordered 6 cones, one of them was a waffle and 5 are the cake cone, the workers got them wrong and I paid for 6 cake cones, so I asked her to change one of the cones to the waffle ans she told me I have to pay more for it, and thats not my problems and she was rude about it. Never coming again

Social distancing and ice.cream go hand in hand. Quick service, short.lines and marks on the floor keep people separated properly.

Two of the young girls accused me of spitting on the floor and made a scene in front of the customers for no reason definitely won’t be returning.

Just left the Legacy place location. My daughter forgot her mask and the person behind the counter said “ I can’t have you in here”. With such an attitude. Now I get it my daughter was in the wrong but there is the right way to speak to a customer. We stood and waited for someone to acknowledge us for over 5 minutes. We finally followed the people in front of us to the registers and waited again, then were asked “ did you place your order”. Customer service here sucks. No smiles, no thank you, rude staff. I’ll never go there again, and the ice cream was below average. I could get better at a grocery store.

They have many flavors of ice cream to choose from and they are all delicious!

Whenever I have time (and some room in my diet for some extra calories) I stop by there. Friendly staff that let you taste as many flavors as you want. I can never take more than a couple though as Im worried about holding up the line as their are always people in line. It moves fast though as they prepare everything will and they have do many flavors its hard to pick.But the staff are helpful and will give you their insights and as I mentioned will let you try anything so you can be sure. Good quality and price. Love the outdoor seating too (when the weather permits it).

I recently ordered two cookies n cream quart-sized ice cream containers from this J.P. Licks and I am truly disappointed. Instead of getting both flavors being cookies n creams, they came out both to be coffee-flavored. Also, both containers were melted when I received them.

Really good ice cream. It can feel a little cramped since its a small establishment but the Ice cream makes up for it. I recommend the brownie butter or if they have it the fruity pebbles one. The staff is nice and the service is quick. Great for short visits

Great ice cream ! We love it but lately we have seen that customer service is terrible ! Staff is rude and seems upset about being there. We are not asking for fake smiles but customer service is also part of the experience. Customer service has been consistently rude throughout the summer it’s not been a one time event. Owners should focus on good customer service training of their permanent and seasonal employees. Customer service is important besides quality products.

The world of Ice Cream should honor JP Licks in some way. The line here was so long it surprised me how quickly we moved through it. So many flavors to choose from and a nice variety of toppings too. Even if Im not in an ice cream mood, I would go in here just because. The quality is that good.

Went on a Friday around 4:30. It wasnt packed, but there was a line. The 2 workers seemed off. They werent talking to each other and it was just a strange vibe. The girl was on her game and the guy was new perhaps. Either way, the service was slow and choppy.When my son and I had our ice cream we went to the register and were ignored. We could have walked out and honestly they wouldnt have noticed. Nonetheless, 2 cones were $18 and I was hoping to have my socks knocked off.It was good, but nothing to brag about. Mine was hemp cookies and cream. It was very creamy but I didnt really get cookies and cream. Ill not go again a si dont live in the area, and Id say its not worth the time or money.

There were some unique flavors when I last visited here, such as the oddly tasty cucumber ice cream and the blueberry pancakes and syrup flavors.My server was quick, friendly and joked around a bit with my group.As stated earlier, the ice cream itself is creamy, and very tasty.

I have never been a big J P licks guy. Theyre ice creams fine. Theres usually a line. Theyve got some interesting flavors. Its a little expensive. If youre there, its good option. I wouldnt go out of my way for it though.

Love the ice cream, hate the service at this location. Never say hello, never smile, never say thank you. Visit the Brookline or JP location if you don’t want to feel like your REALLY putting someone out by serving you two scoops of ice cream for $10.

My favorite JP licks in the Boston Area. Always clean, friendly and very accommodating staff. Also they are open late. They have nice areas indoor and outdoor to sit and relax with a book or with friends.

Always fresh ice cream, hard, soft, and yogurt. The servers change regularly which is slightly concerning. Bathrooms could be cleaner and better stocked.

Absolutely the best ice cream my kids and I love going there they have a huge selection and many allergy free items. There coffee is great too so love there Expresso!

The lady was very rude to me and my boyfriend and he is blind and she did not give us what we wanted plus I am lactose intolerant and they did not have many favors to pick from.we are regular customers too. Wow....this must be one of the best ice cream or Italian gelato parlours we have ever tried. Its affogato vanilla ice cream was fantastic. The serving was humongous... In addition, we also ordered a single scoop cup but it looked as if the server squeezed in 3 scoops into it that we have to share amongst 3 of us and still couldnt manage to finish it. Its a must try ice cream parlour...

This is the only place that I have ever had peanut butter cookies & cream and it was awesome! This place is located in a very cool shopping area that has many other neat shops that dont seem to be anywhere else - Athleta, Pelaton, Amazon Books (!) and a Yard House. Definitely a place to get a cool treat on a hot summer night!

I was suprised to find more unique treats. The diablo hot chocolate was pretty good. I like that we can get ice cream sizes that my son will actually be able to eat (not monster portions)

The ice cream is always good, but this is the second time Ive been to this location and the service was below average.

They had a poor level of allergy awareness. I had to ask them to change the scoop when handling my food allergy.

Coffee Oreo is one of my favs at JP licks but the seasonal flavor butter almond almost got me. I tried the espresso bark on top of my ice cream for the first time and loved it. It was a great bitter bite to contrast the super sweet ice cream.

Nah to this ice cream Shoppe- flavours were weak, staff was inattentive, and $1.25 for a spoonful of whipped cream? Way better off with shakes from shake shack or organic ice cream from whole foods. Still a disappointing ice cream place years later

I had visited this place for years and had nothing but high praise for this place. However, without competent supervision, some employees get complacent and irresponsible. On a recent Saturday visit, the counter was filthy with spills all over. In addition, when I was ordering a banana split sundae, the associate just glared at me, then rubbed his hands on his pants before he started working on my order. I said to him, thanks, Ill pass and left.

I will say, I love the vibe of this place. Only one downfall, the shiger cone wasn’t as shigery as I would’ve liked and the salted caramel cookie dough was sooooooo salty I swear I still am smacking my lips from the darn sodium hours later. Also, the manager TROY was very kind and understanding despite my speech impediments.

I ordered the caramel apple sunday at the jp licks in legacy place. I payed top dollar and it was disgusting. The apples came out of some canned pie filling container at best. The staff was great i just cant believe they have an advertisement right on the window for a caramel apple sundae when its sloppy trash. Im wicked dissatisfied.
