We went here based on a recommendation. The store is properly laid out so that you can walk through and see everything. They had some great furniture and accessories. Early on in our search - we found the perfect piece - but we kept looking. We saw several things we liked but the original piece we found is what we decided on. We are picking it up today. Worth browsing even if you dont have a specific need. They have lots of great finds!

Wonderful find on the way home from the beach in Deerfield!! Prices are alittle high but negotiable! Make sure you meet Blue when you get there. He will melt your heart! If you don’t find a treasure it’s your fault not theirs!! 😎

I love this Consignment store and feel Deerfield Beach is lucky to have them. Owners are friendly and the store clean and well stocked with so many interesting items. Stopped in looking for an etagere/curio piece but instead found a lovely cylinder shape wood end table for which I had a few perfect spots so I purchased it there and then. It was rather heavy and they wrapped it in tough plastic and secured it in the back of my Mini for me. I am glad they survived Covid and wish them continued success.

Beautiful array of merchandise to choose from. The owner is very friendly. Store is clean and brightly lit. Prices are negotiable which is a huge plus. Beautiful furniture, artwork, sculptures, plants, and so much more! You have to check this place out! I’ll definitely be back!

Superior furniture, unusual collections, and all around fantastic owners - as pleasant as they come . I was in need of piece of furniture after my cat got to it . Michael arranged delivery, removal, and even couteously made sure it was wrapped with a cover . He went so far above and beyond the other places I checked from North Palm to Ft.Lauderdale .Georgeous unique pieces here ....will surely be checking to buy again. By coincidence I walked into a friends home today with a new consigned Sofa and oversized chair bought fromsurprise : A SummerPlace .Support your local small businesses !

I love the staff and their creativity. I recently redesigned an old ring that I never wear and Larry and Michelle were great. They heard what I wanted and worked hard to make it perfect without embellishing it or making it something I couldnt wear every day. I love the results! Great Florida people!

One of the great treasures of South Florida. I have been shopping there for the last 7 years and almost my entire condo comes from them. Beds, pottery, paintings, and just about everything else. Deb is incredibly friendly and can never do enough to help me. Love it there!

We decided to have some of our things put in for Consignment and basically it was a real waste of time she doesnt get enough clients to move your products and you end up paying for your things to be moved only to be paying for them to be removed after they dont sale. She doesnt do enough advertising or any for that matter and so I would suggest you look for a consignment store that has alot of foot traffic. Dont waste your time on this store for your consignments and her contract is unreasonable and she is too difficult of a personality on top of it all.

One of the owners Debbie has some emotional issues. If you buy probably OK, but as a seller be very aware you may not get what you thought and may not hear back for months after something is sold. They take their agreed upon % based on a price she says she got. If you question her she goes off on a tirade.

I have both purchased and sold at A Summer Place. Deb, Mike and Frank are the best. I have done extremely well doing business with them. They only accept consignments in perfect condition. They are most definitely above the rest when it comes to honesty, integrity and fairness. I cannot praise them highly enough. Top quality in every way...

The owner is very rude! Over priced. I asked if she would take a little less on a piece that was scratched and was missing hardware. She told me she would take 10.00 off! What a joke

I stumbled on this consignment store while getting lunch at the Pickle Barrel. I couldnt leave the plaza without checking it out. As soon as I opened the door I was impressed. They have 10,000 square feet of amazing shopping. You more in a circle through elegantly decorated rooms. Items are pleasingly arranged in tableaus throughout the store. Furniture, decor, china, lamps, art, jewelry, glass, and antiques, they have it all. You can view some of their inventory on their website. They even have an opium bed, something I had never seen before. If you are selling items you can drop them off but they also have pickup service. Prices seemed reasonable and everything is negotiable. Do your homework and make an offer. There were so many things here I loved.

Whenever I stop by Deb always shows me the new arrivals. She is a people person and a true professional in her business. March 2016 - Took my friend to shop there. She bought quite a few items and was totally pleased with the gentlemen who ran the store. Items were wonderful, a full selection and very fair prices. Delivery was made the time they said it would be and prices were very reasonable. They could not have been nicer!

This is a quote from the owner after I asked why a piece I left in her care was no longer sellable due to damage: We are not responsible... EXACTLY! ...if an item is left past the end of the contract. How do I know when it was damaged? Am I supposed to come to the shop and check every other day?Not just an item I entrusted to them to sell was damaged.I bought a cabinet that cost over $3,000. It had large, original antique (wavy) glass panels. They were pointed out to me before I bought the piece. A few days after taking delivery I noticed that the reflections on one of the panels was too perfect, like a brand new mirror. So one of the original glass panels had been broken, and she had it replaced without even mentioning it. Of course it devalued the piece and she didnt want to lose any money.So buying or selling...BEWARE! Best to seek out a better, more responsible consignment shop. One with integrity.

I tried to sell a few items from out of town since I am about to sell my house in Florida and the communication with the co-owner was very difficult, unfriendly and unhelpful. She communicated via mail with me but refused to acknowledge statements she made in her mail later on. She kept saying that she does not like to communicate via e-mail and does not have my correct telephone number although I had sent it to her numerous times. At the end of the day and after a lot of waste of time I am where I am started and did not get anything accomplished. Very frustrating experience.

Horrible experience. Couldnt get away fast enough from Debra with her hostility. Opposite of good customer service, from beginning to end.

I am so disgusted. I finally get off work a few minutes early to go and look at these places, and at 5:10 the woman looks at me through the window and tells me they’re closed even though the sign says Monday through Friday open till 5:30 PM. I hope to God that they are not paying them for the time that they are obviously not there. People depend on the times for it to be open most people work during those hours. That half hour just Cost you about $800 because that was what I was prepared to spend.If your customer service is any indication on the products you sell I’m glad I didn’t go inside

The sales person was rude and prejudice, did not know how to qualify a potential client. We will never be in that store. We ended to buy from another store in Boca, where the people were much more friendly and helpful.

Wow. I have never encountered such nastiness over the phone. Just downright rude. Deb: if you cant handle the pressure of accepting polite inquiries over the phone when the shop is busy, perhaps you should have someone more sales oriented answer the phone. Id rather donate my stuff that have you make a commission.
