We decided it was time to do some updating and upgrading of the flooring in our two-story house. After deciding on doing tile downstairs and carpeting upstairs, we started making our rounds to all the various stores and vendors. Included in those stores was dolphin carpet and tile, who we ended up choosing to go with.Our salesperson, Brent Myers, was very knowledgeable, accommodating, and overall very good to work with. He was always on top of things. I would recommend working with Brent at Dolphin carpet and tile.

I had gone to Floor and Decor to check prices and narrow down what I was interested in. I loved a few of their options but due to a less than stellar customer experience, I decided to check Dolphin. I swear, I think my Google search is somehow connected to commercials that are shown on TV. Every other spot was given to Dolphin Carpet & Tile. Maybe I got sucked in by the family angle or maybe I was being a smart shopper and decided to compare. Either way, I found myself at Dolphin on a weekend afternoon. I went in and....nothing. I was greeted by a very loud chime when I opened the door and that was it. You could see straight back from the front door and though I heard many people, I didnt see a soul. I called out a bit but didnt go further than the front room. It seemed the type of flooring I was interested in was in that area. Hung around for maybe 5 minutes looking at the different types and prices and hoping someone would investigate why the front door went off. Nope. Nada. I just left. That was a disappointment. Went back to F&D and bought flooring for my whole house - $5k worth. Thats what Dolphin lost from me and the possibility of other business. May not be a lot to some but that represented years of saving and months of looking for the perfect floor.

Went to the dolphin in Deerfield and had a great experience!! Bentley was such a pleasure! He was funny and very helpful! Got a great price. Definitely recommend this place!

So I went with Dolphin because of the rave reviews here. The sales guy Brent is great. At first, I was really happy with my tile - but then I had a contractor come in to point out how crooked all the corners in the tile were. Entry ways have problems with the grout coming up. Uneven spacing. I decided to forgive the errors and go with them to complete the house. Most of the floor was straight but in key walkway areas it is crooked. The subcontractor was kind of rude and just made excuses. He blamed it being crooked on the bevel of the tile and that they should have used different spacers. He also felt it was OK to install crooked flooring because the rest of the house was crooked.As a buyer- I didnt know to look for straight lines up front before all the tile was grouted in. After spending nearly 10K in flooring - I have a house full of imperfect tile - and some buyers remorse. I moved out of my house to replace the floors - to fix it - I would have to move out of my house again. Its just not worth it and a bummer that I didnt get the quality I thought I was paying for. Last but not least, the first sub-contractor - a short gentleman conned me into giving him cash for items that were not included from Dolphin. I was in a rush - so I just handed him money to leave me alone - but beware of the sub-contractor hustle.

I have used Dolphin carpet several times. My last time the installer broke my toilet and then refused to cover my loss. $474.00. The manger Paul, was rude and hung up me twice.I do Not recommend them. Never!!

First time I ever went to a dolphin carpet and tile store, after leaving Lowes and Home Depot looking for carpet completely frustrated because no one could help. I went into dolphin carpet and tile and was greeted by Andre. He was knowledgeable, pleasant to work with and was able to help me with any question I asked whether it be regarding carpet or tile link for our floor. I only purchased carpet but will be back for porcelain tile in the next couple of weeks. Thank you For having sales associates that actually can help!

So, I can say that the sales guy Francis is amazing. JR who does the actual install..eh...not so much. Ive had better. First he only thin set/leveled part of the room, to which no one would notice once the floor is retiled. Except when the base boards go to be installed..THEN you find all his F-ups. It was so bad that the baseboard installer took pics and sent it to JRs boss. Pretty upset that this was NEVER brought to my attention by JR that this one area would be a little uneven. I understand not being able to level the whole house, but when you plainly see huge gaps when the base boards lay down next to it. I would call to complain, however, having this job redone is just another headache AND getting a partial refund from them, I am sure is dam near impossible. So, beware, sales is great, but who they send is kind of careless and refuses to pay attention to detail. JR seems like he just wants to be done and gone.

Andre at the Deerfield Beach Dolphin store is the best. As I explained what kind of carpeting I wanted, he took me through all the price ranges and really listened. He followed through by ordering and measuring the very next day and let me borrow a sample so I could get matching paint. Professional, friendly and expert advice.

I went on an information seeking trip. Carpet, padding, and installation are a package. You can shop for carpet products within your own range. Business must be doing well because the installations are booked for about 2 1/2 weeks out. Salesman was polite and knowledgeable.

I dealt with Andre its a Deerfield Beach location. He made a very enjoyable purchase of my laminate flooring. His product knowledge was excellent his demeanor and personality was even better. My flooring is scheduled to be installed tomorrow. Hopefully it will go as well as my dealings with Andre!

I am helping a friend remodel a condo. Bentley Bleich was my Flooring Consultant and although I was looking for a tile floor, he showed me other least expensive options. Although I chose a tile floor, I appreciate the fact that Mr. Bleich gave me options. He also provided me with a estimate immediately and we chose to book the job the same day.

When we purchased our carpet the salesman was unfamiliar with the commerical charge card process. he forced us to charge it to a personal card. He wouldnt take the time to listen to us to tell him this. When the installer arrived the carpet was a much lower quality of carpet then what we had choosen. The installer was also a substitue and the quality of seams and instalation was terrible. Completed instalation was of such poor quality after 4 months of use we decided to have it replaced. Would NOT reccommend this carpet store.

Buyer beware. They are happy to take your money but dont care about long term customer relationships. Bought carpet 3 years ago and it has completely fallen apart. The previous carpet I had in there from a different vendor lasted over 10 years. The smart thing to do would have been to have someone come out to take a look, not charging them knowing that if you show your customers you care and are there to help, they will probably buy from you again. Not here.....there will be a charge to come out. Lesson learned. Goodbye Dolphin Carpet and Tile.
