Nice selection and the attendant at the dressing room was so nice π will be back!
The Best Goodwill location. Neatly organized. Great place for bargains. Deerfield Beach location 100% better than the smelly small Boca Raton location.
I will not go back to this GoodwilI in Deerfield Beach in Broward FL..I live in Palm Beach county I drove all the way down to Broward county. I was told that this is a huge Goodwill and they have really great stuff there. I spent quite a long time in the store selecting awesome items. when I went up to the front I was told that this Goodwill does not participate in the Goodwill 25% discount for members. I was so annoyed!! Why is it that Goodwill can advertise it on TV tell you if you purchase there membership . Theyre able to select which goodwills participate in this!!!
Cute, but super basic. staff are alright. if ur looking for cool finds, try a different goodwill.
Fitting rooms still closed! Why sell clothes if they canβt be tried on. Sizes from different manufacturers fit differently. Get with it Goodwill!
This is a pretty clean place, just got a decent office chair for cheap. Not too much furniture here though, a lot of clothes.
Ever since they consolidated juniors and womenβs even designer mixed in its horrendous to shop here. I canβt even find anything anymore. It may look like they have separate sections for small med and large etc. But itβs all mixed in and jam packed you canβt even move clothes around to look. I used to spent 100+ a trip here and Iβve walked out not making a purchase the last 5 times. I guess i gotta find a more organized goodwill.
It was ok, I didnt like the fact that the workers couldnt help me because they dont speak any english and the one lady who did speak english didnt speak much english.
Goodwill is especially good for jackets, t-shirts, and Polo shirts. They are a little pricey on pants and short pants. Overall, I was ecstatic about buying a $100 jacket for only $7 . Debbie Rand Memorial thrift store in Boca is fantastic for high-end furniture and clothing. Good prices to create Google account
Everything would be great if they didnt RUIN stuff with SHARPIE. Why not use price tags like everyone else? I did get few antique and vintage things but they have HUGE price mark from SHARPIE!!! Same with clothes:( shame...because its a good goodwill with large products selection.
Going to.be honest..you can find better stuff in stores like.marshalls and tj maxx...goodwill has became.expensive for their cheap stuff!!!not worth it
I am a long-time thrifter but a first-time Goodwill shopper. I was pleasantly surprised that my experience was so positive! Clothing was organized by color, size, and type, the store was clean and spacious, and the racks were filled with quality merchandize. Pricing was a little unclear - most items seemed to be priced by type (i.e. blouses $6) but some were not and many items were missing tags. I wish there were a few real mirrors in the store - the mirrors in the store were peel & stick squares and none were full-length. I did not visit the dressing rooms, but I assume the mirror situation is better in there - I just didnt assume that dressing rooms were open now, nor am I interested in using one during the pandemic. If youre looking for high-end gems, I dont think youll find many here, but you will find loads of items from stores like LOFT, Gap, Target, Hollister - many are NWT.
Busy but not overcrowded. The check out line moved quickly. Store was clean.
The staff are very helpful. Although sizes are separated, everything is mixed up & hard to find at the Deerfield Beach, FL location.
Always good shopping
I drove up here from ft laud for a bikeThey didnt answer the phone or get back to me on offerupBike was sold but not marked soldWhat a waste of my time & fuel
This place is amazing!! We came to donate, but left with great items!!
This store is one of the best hidden gems in South Florida (or anywhere beyond) due to several different reasons of which most are rather standard, yet it is just one exceptional one that makes it so unparalleled!!! For example, like other great shopping meccas;1. Its a decently large store (about the size of a Ross Dress for Less) that stocks of all sorts of good to excellent quality items like clothing/shoes, home furnishings, small appliances, bags & luggage, books, media, toys, artwork etc..2. It has a renown moniker (Goodwill) so it receives an absolutely massive amount of donations from people, especially those in the local area.3. The prices on EVERYTHING in there isnt just nicely discounted, low or even at clearance level, but literally at rock bottomHowever, what takes those niceties & cranks it up to a level thats rarely, if even ever, seen is simply THIS......It is a second-hand store which runs on donations which is located smack dab, right in the middle of FOUR wealthy nearby towns/cities (Boca Raton, Lighthouse Point, Highland Beach & Hillsboro Beach), HOWEVER unlike any of the other so-called discount businesses in this area, like Pawn stores, Consignment (& I use that word loosely when I see every item marked at higher prices than they originally sold at years ago) shops &/or Secondhand/Gently Worn clothing stores, this store truly presents an individual (especially professional shoppers, such as myself, &/or anyone else really determined/willing to spend the time to go through everything), with not just a decent possibility, but (rather) really almost a near-certain guarantee that theyll come away with at least one steal, if not several of them, afte each & every visit.Add to this fact that the location had recently been shutdown for some remodeling (which lasted just over a year & let tons of valuable donations accumulate over such a long time) and you really end up with a place that is a one of a kind situation which will likely not be seen again. Now, if youve begun asking yourself, Well what do you mean? or How great of a deal are we talking about?...well, what Im basically saying to you is that on every single trip that I have taken to this store over the past year (which is approx. 8-10 of them now) Ive walked out with, at the very least, several hundred if not even (on three of those occasions) thousands of dollars of resellable &/or personal use items (any/all of which were either in excellent, mint or new with original tag condition. Now, I will admit that since some time has passed (since the reopening) the treasure trove has seriously been thinned out (mostly by me), yet still, as of a week ago, I found myself leaving with a $200 messenger bag with $110 matching computer case for $6, several high-end designer shirts that MSRP at $90+ for $3-$7 a piece & one beautiful set of 3-panel artwork that I cant estimate a value on, but Im certain itll fetch well above the $4 I paid for it (EDIT:Sold for $120, 13 days later), and (truth be told) this last trip pales in comparison to the days where I returned with multiple near complete sets of Noritake fine china (which sold online for just over $1200, but paid no more than $42 for them both), or the double-breasted, vintage (prior to his 1997 death) Versace suit which after extensive exploration of the internet I learned sold originally for $3200, but which now belongs to me for $6 (pants) + $12 (jacket) +$4 (white dress shirt) + $2 (tie) or, in other words, a whopping total of $24. Anyway, Ill stop there, but I promise this list is true & it goes on and on so if youre in the neighborhood, or if you just want to treasure-hunt, then do yourself a favor & stop by this Goodwill location.(Better yet..just do me a favor instead & stop on by to drop them off something else thats utterly fabulous!!)
A wonderful store nice and clean and spacious. You do have to race people a bit if they put something out thats really nice LOL! Although its a good place to get decent clothes and knick-knacks for your house and I go there for the books.
They have many cool things to buy.
It was great!
Always clean and organized. Not crowded. Decent, considerate mindful customers...very comfortable. Just bought a used folding bike! Very happy with my purchase.
I really disappointed with this place, went there to bring a lot of clothes and toys of my kids, most of them expensive and almost new, and the attendant asked me not be back there, only bring toys that they can make money, and through the toys on the trash.....shame off you Goodwill, so many kids need a toy, and you do that...
Brought in a dress to return. Manager Margret never came out of office to do refund I waited more then 10 minutes. Then I was told I would have to wait until she was finished with her meeting... not sure how long that would be, I left. Very rude and unprofessional in my opinion.
Nice quite store
I like to consider myself a thrift-shop expert... This is a good one. Very organized, probably higher volume clothing than most Goodwills. Regular reliable pricing.
Good selection, clean andn well organized. Great prices for seniors.
Never had a problem.
Watch out they try to cheat you on pricing. Sign says shirts 4.00 get to the counter they want 10.00. Sneaky, deception.
Good inventory. Reasonable prices for the most part. The manager, Manuel is heartless. Two days ago I purchased 3 pairs of swimming shorts for my son. One was quite large for him. I tried to exchange it, not return it, and he said no. The item cost $2 mind you, as with the other boys swim suits. I had my receipt, which clearly states No refunds, in store credit only items must be returned within seven days. Verbatim and I omitted nothing from what the receipt said. On another day, and other than him, I would give a five star review. Great staff otherwise.
All the clothes are very overpriced, and they charge more for the clothes then how much they cost new. The checking out line took forever and the staff checked out very slow. I also found multiple ripped items in the racks.
Bathrooms are gross. They never empty there buckets. Merchandise junk. Used sneaker $20.00 really. Store messy. Workers ask you to buy merchandise for them. Very few workers speak English. Mangers always always smoking outside store. Should I continue.
I have been to this Goodwill a couple of times and overall I love Goodwill. I have been to many around Florida but this one honestly is not my favorite, which is sad because it is supposed to be a superstore. Usually when I come here I do not really find anything I like. The last time I visited I noticed they ordered things by size which I did not like. I dont think it is very smart for a place like that to organize by size because it is hard to keep up with and the diverse clothing that I am assuming is brought in does not necessarily mean a certain Large or Small that exact size for someone... (If that made any sense). It took me awhile to figure out that they made a teen section which kinda bothered me because I was unaware but that falls on me. (It was just unexpected since no other Goodwill does that... from what I have seen...) Although it isnt completely terrible. They do take in donations and everything that I have taken in they have not rejected.
Mehhh..wouldnt go back
Much different now..used to be clean and filled with good merchandise and decent pricing.now its disgusting..high prices on junk, dirty, and good merchandise is not to be found..and good luck if you dont speak Spanish, plus they write on merchandise with black magic marker, and they dont care how big they write either, whether on silk, leather or suede..And what took the cake, I watched an employee take pictures of items on the shelf, and list them herself on an online website..and its not just me, who saw this..what a joke and embarrassment, I tell my friends not to shop there, we go to other thrifts that are run better. And the respond with a bogus email address, when I tried to respond..got a bounce back..the email does not exist. This place needs to be reported.
Good .
Cool finds. Some things are overpriced sometimes though.
They work hard over here such great effort! I walk in through the donation door and literally within 3 seconds the clothes in my arms that i had to walk from the edge of the parking lot to the front of the door, where my donations were swiftly and delicately taken from arms. Awesome experience!
This thrift store is probably > 90% clothes, so not too much fun to look around. I didnβt see any good furniture the day I went, and the other items like plates and electronics, I couldnβt read the pricing on them, poor handwriting, or perhaps they were trying to denote a discount color by writing prices that looked like, β1-Bβ but I really donβt know. Itβs a shame, since Iβve been to much nicer Goodwill stores before. If you need clothing, this might be a good place to shop. If youβre looking for other bargains....good luck.
Goodwill and the manager of this store are both ignorant!! I cant try anything on in the store, return for a credit, if it doesnt fit at home??? Everyone take your items home, get them all contaminated and bring them back to store for return. How stupid is that???? Just make sure you have a MASK... DUH!!!!!
Thank you for generic response. Please provide information on how you have helped over 6,000 in community. I worked for years with people with disabilities. Never have i seen Goodwill assist. Can you provide information, a website on how Goodwill helps people with disabilities? What programs do you offer? Non profit?I think people should start questioning where funds are going. I also feel your generic response to everyone that has giving your store a low rating would encourage some change. Evidently, you are not willing to take negative reviews and rethink. Please include in your comment how much the CEO is making-also i have yet to see anyone with a disability working there. Do we now include people that do not speak english a disability? I always donate and love to shop here for clothes. My review-Overpriced. I have been in here 7 times and noticed there are only small sizes. I wont go in again because walmart is down the the street
Im so happy. I accidentally found this goodwill yesterday and it was the best surprise ever. the t-shirt selection is great and so are the pants and active wear. the only bad thing I can probably say about this goodwill is that you had to purchase a carrying bag, even though I was second guessing I still bought the bag anyway.
So, I love their menswear. Thats all I come for. But GA has me spoiled I guess because in N GA the price of suits and blazers are 7.99 and 13.07 or something like that. This place SPECIAL PRICES SUITS AND JACKETS ON THE RACK. I dont like that. I bought a suit off the 12.00 rack that I got up to the counter to find it $18. Special items go behind the counter, not on the rack. I REALLY like their donations but one other bur in my butt is the fact that they WRITE THE PRICE ON THE INSIDE OF THE JACKET! So when I go to resale it I have to explain why I have a 8 or 17 or whatever the price I paid for it written in it. Im going to be pissed if it ever costs me a sale. Put a dang paper tag with the price if you got to. But if you would STOP SPECIAL RACK PRICING then you would KNOW THE PRICE is $8 and you wouldnt have to DEFACE DESIGNER GOODS.
They have quality clothing at cheap prices. And the staff is kind and helpful.
Have good things and bargains good place to shop and good peoples
Prices are ridiculous on donated items...
This place can be a hit or miss. Not much of vintage stuff. Mostly contemporary second hand items but every so often they have some great buys such as incense, new candles, pillows, bathroom stuff all new. The other day they even had a surplus of hats and sneakers all still in the box.
This place is awesome! I found so many tops and shorts for very little money! The selection is fabulous in all sizes! This is the best Good Will location Ive ever been to.
This is a superstore. Not a regular Goodwill...they always have great access to fine products, clothing, housewares, electronics. Gotta have Goodwill towards men and women. JP
Be aware!I had a very bad experience at this store first of all I dont think those people received a proper training I will explain and you will understand why. Every time you ask them for information they say -I dont know, or sometimes they dont speak English most most of them speak Spanish only. I saw a very nice Harman Kardon speaker but I was afraid to buy because it was a used electronic and it could be broke. then I asked the cashier if I could return in case the speaker doesnt work and she told me that I could return it, the only thing she forgot to tell me, and I find out later is that they dont give you money back only store credit, and that make A lot of difference. When I came back to return the speaker because wasnt working, the manager took my receipt and he make me sign a paper with my name address and phone number and he said I have only 30 days to use the store credit after that Im going to lose my money.I dont think its fair with the customers, first of all I was misinformed by their employees, second, the sign that says they dont give money back just store credit wasnt clear and visible to the customers and to be honest Im going to looking for my rights because this is very abusive and who is going to buy something used without any warranty and you take it home to try and see if its working and if its not working you have to return to the store get a store credit and you have 30 days only to buy more used junk use, or things that you dont need just to save your money? I dont think its fair!So my advice for you is dont spend your time going to the store because they dont treat the customers right but fool the customers. It is very convenient for them to put a broken electronic for sale because if somebody buy it then Wont returned the money, and you will be forced to buy something else at the store. It sounds like a scam for me.
Always something new to discover. Good customer service. They take all my donations with no hassle. One of my favorite thrift destinations!
Good name brands but expensive for a thrift store
I like buying clothes for my toddler because the prices are very good and he is growing so fast. For me, its not worth it to buy clothes for him at regular store only dressier clothing and shoes/sandals. They have a variety of selection. My husband is tall and skiny, so sometimes I can find the right size of pants for him. They have lots of clothing for everybody.
It is one the nicest store to shop. I stop by yesterday to drop off some good English dictionary and other medical orthopedic supply etc. I commend in highly the store
Friendly, helpful people. Purchased like new patio set and a glass top corner table. Someone donated a nice, small piano while we were there!
Love this store, I donate and shop as well. The girls are very nice and helpful. So glad you open this store on this side of town.β€
Lots of different nice items and large store. Very busy at times and nice items sell quickly. Parking lot is small for large pickup trucks.
If they paid their workers more theyd get 5 stars. But it is a great place to find deals
My Number One clothing store. Quality clothes for almost free.
Im prejudiced to goodwill. They claim to be for the less fortunate only. The people at the top make millions, they get the donations at no cost, goodwill WASTES the money made on creating a retail type high end environment, I prefer salvation army and the smaller thrifts. I wish they would leave town.
The workers need to stop speaking in Spanish when discussing the prices. 3 workers and 3 different prices. BAD BUSINESS.
One of the better Goodwills in the area. They have a quick inventory turnover because they have decent inventory at good prices worth pickin.Ive also donated in addition to being a frequent shopper. Donated a large load of used media one day and then went inside to shop. I literally watched them put everything on the shelves right there, which is great. This means their inventory isnt picked over or being sent to other locations (unlike other stores). Props for that. We
Manager is great. The rest of the staff very bad and rude and also wierd and strange, got followed around store and looked at wierd. Prices are soso. This is my second time just went to see how they treated methis time. It was horrible staff. They followed me around like I was a outcast, and stoked a bank, made me feel very strange there, felt very uncomfortable being looked at and followed around like I just robbed a bank. But the manager made up for it, good person. Do I want to go there again no. But will for shits and kicks. Again if you have a problem like I did!? Just ask for manager.
I used to like this place, but every time I go they raise the prices. The blankets used to be $2.50 but since Ive been going and buying some every week for my dogs to sleep on they have slowly raised the price to $6.00 - for used blankets which they got for FREE!And thats not the only thing, I saw a small used dog crate in horrible condition for $35 which is honestly a retail price. Also they claim to have a color of the day which will be the discounted color but when you walk around you wont find a single item with the color of the day.HUGE SCAM.NO ONE SPEAKS ENGLISH HERE.Only one super rude and super fat girl speaks English - but you dont want to mess with her or SHE WILL SIT ON YOU!
Cathleen and the girls were super! Customer service - I give them an A+ because they were very professional and was willing to help. I will be visiting that store againπ€
Good bargain hunting found a nice office chair and 3 sets of golf clubs.
Was able to pick up some really good things here
That place has a very bad selection that looks like the workers filter through the stuff before hand, and the pricing is very bad and written in a manner that can be either 5 or 8 ...which makes it very bad to understand and the workers are too rude sometimes that kick out a lor of people.Love GoodWill but not that one.Unless they change, i would not recommend it.
Very good
Nice, clean organized store. 15% 4. 55+ seniors on Tuesday. Helpful personnel.
Good selection of clothes and other items. Will br backβ€
We love this Goodwill Store. Very organized. Friendly. I always find what I need.
Wish they had more reasonable pricesBut okay baby clothes should be like 1 dollar and puzzles too
Tooo high of prices. Ill stick to buying from goodwill back in good ole North Carolina
Great Selection of clothing sizes. Clean and uncluttered. Friendly prompt cashier.
Very good location great selection of merchandise. Easy to find itemd
We like coming here. Theres always something that stands out and we end up talking it.
As a collector and viewer of cursed items and merchandise, this store is a one stop shop for me to find new cursed and abandoned items which to bring into my fold and use accordingly. The last time I was in this establishment I was approached by an old friend and former nemesis, Randy. He was picking through the childrenβs clothes for his own reasons, stopping to sniff the air like some wild beast every few moments. His eyes met mine and I could see the hurt and pain, how he had loved and lost, and how he had siphoned gas from my car while I was shopping.Randy walked over to where I was leafing through a book in the books section(which is well organized) and told me that I needed to get on with my life, that Pamela had left me for a reason and drowning that hole in my heart with cursed objects from the local Goodwillβ’οΈ was eventually going to cause me financial ruin. But jokes on him, because I left the store before him and smashed one of his side mirrors on his car. One of the better goodwills, 4/5 stars
Very good deals for who wants used clothes, and house needs. Its not a very clean store and it smells very heavy.
The people were nice but this one wasnt as well organized as most, nothing by size. Much more expensive and the quality was your typical goodwill- nothing special, nothing spectacular. Plus they write all the prices on the tag, if you takeep off a jacket everyone will see a large number written in green sharpie. We spent 20 minutes in here and decided we could go to Marshalls or TJMaxx for nearly the same $$$.
Clean, organized, and great prices! It even smelled better than the other Goodwill stores.
Very nice selection, store very clean and sales people were very kind and most helpful.
I can always find a good deal on clothing for a cheaper price.
Great place - snagged an awesome deal on a unique table
DO NOT PURCHASE ANY ELECTRONICS! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!
Very cool place! I like it! Well-organized and sweet!
Superstore is an understatement with all these great items in here. #MegaStore
Good place for you buy used books, furniture, dresses e outers.
Very kind and intelligent people running this facility! Highly recommend coming here to buy and donate things :)
Not as organized..and courteous as others
I once got a designer mens leather jacket here for just $7.50. I have purchased dozens of mens camp shirts for $6.00 or less. This location has the best 2nd hand clothes dirt cheap@!
A little messy, but very friendly staff and spacious. Found a few really nice gems.
Goodwill is supposed to be very affordable. Well, not this one!!! I guess just because this one is in Boca raton they can charge you arm and a leg.
Well organized and clean with reasonable prices good turnover with items and friendly and helpful staff as well as management will continue to shop here my only complaint would be the parking
Very nice, i could have used more time to shop. I had to call it quits for today my feet were killing me. I have metal in both hips and after awhile it starts to give me a problem. I will be back though ! Didnt get to look at alot i wanted to there was alot i didn get to due to my legs starting to hurt. Thank you for your hospitality and i will returnn soon ! Dawn Harty
This is the most rude staff that Iβve ever met. Please do not come here when theyβre 15 min away from closing the store. They will scream at your ear, they will follow you through the store saying that the store is closed at 6:45 PM. I wish I could put 0 starts. I wanted to get out of there so fast itβs awful. Rude rude rude staff awful place.
