Dixie Divers Dixie Divers School is as good as it gets when it comes to teaching scuba diving. I needed to get my final open water dives so I did a ton of research on all the dive shops in the southern Florida area and I’m so glad I chose Dixie Divers. They are professional, trustworthy and just great over all. Tyler and Martha were very helpful and flexible making sure I could get trained in the limited window of time that I had on my trip.They are very detailed when it comes to teaching. Reliable and helpful to anyone that needs assistance. They always made sure i learned why I was doing each skill required, and made sure I was 100% confident. Tyler, Sebastian, Sol and crew also made sure I was taken care of before each dive and always offered to assist when needed.The Dive shop offers everything from scuba diving, free diving and more. All the merchandise they offer are excellent quality and at a reasonable price. They also have their own boat with crew, in which is in excellent condition, has ample space and amenities docked near by.If you’re looking to scuba dive or get trained definitely look at Dixie divers because I know I am.

Just getting back from a snorkeling trip. My friend and I had the best time! The crew on Lady Go Divers was so kind and welcoming. They helped calm our nerves at first, encouraged us to have a great time and provided advice in many areas! We saw beautiful fish, coral, shipwreck and other amazing things! I can’t recommend them over and over again. Will definitely return when we are back in FL!

This is an excellent dive shop with awesome instructors. I completed my open water with another dive shop, but I had several issues and one of them was safety. I became distraught, even more fearful and anxious. After that bad experience I actually thought about quitting convincing myself that I was not a water person and this sport/hobby was not for me. I switched to Dixie Divers to do my advance open water. From day one, ALL the staff have been professional and friendly. My instructor was Chuck who was really patient and understanding. What a completely different experience it has been with this dive shop, all positive. They are super organized, their boat is great, and they have plenty of selection in gear. Cody was also super patient and helpful in assisting me purchasing my gear. I just want to thank everyone at Dixie Divers for helping me achieve this goal of mine. I look forward to doing more dives with you!

Great local dive shop. Located in Deerfield beach. There is great diving all around the immediate area. The dive shop has all the gear you will ever need with great knowledgeable staff. The dive boat is great, large and spacious so you won’t feel cramped with all your gear. The boat always has complimentary refreshments and snacks, very knowledgeable captain and dive masters that put you in areas where you will see all kinds of wildlife. I won’t dive with anyone else!

Couldnt have asked for a better local dive shop. The employees are all awesome going above and beyond to make sure you walk out smiling. Whether you are taking a class, or at the retail shop, they treat you like family. It is more than just a business to them, looking forward to many more visits.

My son and I recently got our certification here and my son is 11 years old. Garry and Tyler were awesome. They were extremely helpful, professional and safety first cautious. Our last boat dives were with Tyler, he was just awesome, super fun to work with and great with kids. Overall their dive masters have an excellent fund of knowledge and you will not find better. The boat dives were required as part of the course so were educational but were also super fun and exciting to see all of the amazing sea life. Garry and Tyler were very accommodating to our schedule as we could only dive on certain days and hours due to my demanding work schedule. If you have kids that want to learn here, this is the place, you wont find better.

This team is awesome. I ordered some fins online for my son and they did not fit. Brought the fins back and they took care of us. Gave us some killer advice on the right reef to go to. I completed my Advanced Open Water & Enriched Air (Nitrox) class with Dixie Divers last weekend. I like the consecutive class days and small class sizes they provide. On Saturday my first three dives were one on one with Charles, the instructor. Sunday, I did two more dives with Charles and another student in my AOW class. Charles, the instructor, has been diving since 1985 and he was a pleasure to work with. Dixie Divers has their own boat so you dont pay extra and it is docked less than a mile away. That makes it more convenient as a student. Overall I am very pleased with the Dixie Divers experience and I highly recommend them.

Dixie Divers is top in class with not only their products but with their top notch service. I went in looking to get tanks and information on mini-lobster season and left with enough information to crush it! Brett is extremely knowledgeable and very personal and will give you honest advice! 10/10 would recommend!

I just completed my certification. Tyler was amazing, especially when communicating with me, which was very helpful because I live out of state. The facility is great and has all the right equipment available. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I thought I wouldnt ever finish the course because I failed on my first dive, but Erik helped me complete my certification thanks to their excellent instruction. After many years of being out of diving, we stopped into Dixie Divers when we arrived in Deerfield in early winter. We caught the bug again thanks to these guys! I have been going out diving with Dixie Divers since 2015 and they truly run a great operation. They have a really nice and helpful crew and visit awesome dive locations. Great experiences with the shop and boat dives today. They were super helpful in getting everything I needed, worked in a military discount for me for purchases, and did an on-the-spot VIP for a pony tank after another non-local shop forgot to put a sticker on the tank. They also incentivize reviews with tank fills after a boat dive which I think is a great idea!The crew on the boat were great in working with everyone and ensuring safety. They didnt toss tanks around as Ive seen shops do in SC. The only thing which would have been great would have been more snacks for a very full boat today.

I was on short vacation staying in Pompano Beach and decided to take refresher dive and then boat dive next day. Everybody at Dixie Divers was friendly, helpful and courteous from the moment I booked dive and throughout all experience. My instructors Sol and Codi were amazing, helped with everything I needed and ensured dives were safe and fun. Captain John was great, everybody was following all safety protocols and dive trip went smoothly and safe. I can recommend Dixie Divers for sure if you want to have safe and fun dive trip.

Had an awesome snorkel with Dixie Divers in March, snorkelling the wreck of the SS Copenhagen. It was day 2 of my trip and to be honest the jet lag hit me pretty hard after the first snorkel, but the trip was still extremely enjoyable and the staff were a great bunch!!!

Awesome boat, nice staff. Very packed, which is not the best thing during COVID times.Charles Kiss was my instructor, and he was amazing for my Tec 40. I would do more training with him, very knowledgeable and challenging as an instructor.Tyler was also fantastic in helping with logistics, answering questions, and is just wonderful.The dive shop is also top notch, they do all kinds of fills as requested.Great operation, Ill be keeping a fill card with them!

Booked a dive about a month prior. A day and a half before I make a 7hr journey down there excited to dive...I get a call that I need a refresher course before I can dive their boat. 2 stars is for the safety aspect of not wanting an accident...I did not get offered a refresher course(with or without cost) and a different dive that day....could have called in Mid April when the booking was paid and made that note when i could have done something at my LDS. Wish I could have had the expierence others had the 5 star expierence others had but your shop definitely dropped the ball on this guy.

I accidentally ordered the Metric (BAR) version of a Pressure Gauge/Compass set. When they saw my shipping address was in the US, they contacted me to confirm I wanted the metric version. Every diver looses gear at some point in their diving adventures. I lost a GoPro and never expected to get it back. The next day the Lady Go Diver of Dixie Divers returned to the same dive site I lost my camera the day before. The call I got from the best dive shop in South Florida saying they found my camera and I should come pick it up when able. I was there in 20 min. Bought lots more gear from them since and feel every time I am getting a very good advice for the gear I need for what I intend to do. Dixie Divers is the best dive shop I have ever been in and have been diving since 1989.

Enjoyed the Open water certification course. Instruction gave me confidence to safely begin exploring. They were helpful with equipment selection and it seemed for them more of a passion than a business.

Great prices, and great service! The whole crew was friendly and very helpful. A few of us got a bit sea sick and they were very comforting and gave us tips on preventing it. They gave us good guidance and instructions on safety and snorkeling. Ive snorkeled many times before, but this was helpful to the newbies. There were also divers with us, but the excursion was very organized and well put together.

For all diving enthusiasts out there who are frustrated with being treated poorly by companies that care more about profit than customer service, Dixie Divers in Deerfield, FL, is the place to shop for all of your diving gears; not only do they carry quality brand merchandise, they provide personalized service that is non-existent in bigger companies. After I placed an order for a wetsuit, Alex from Dixie Divers, emailed to inform me that the specific one I had ordered was out of stock. Alex patiently worked with me via a couple of emails until I made a decision on an alternative wetsuit. Alex whom I told that the wetsuit was a gift, said he would leave out the tags; this was something that hadn’t occurred to me, and I was glad he thought of it. I will definitely do business with this company again and hope others who value outstanding customer service would too.

The new owners are great, we purchased brownies 3rd lung for our boat and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Not only did they make sure we were set up with all the additional gear, they even scheduled a time to give us a demo in our pool and make sure we knew what we were doing (which we didn’t!) we are so greatful for the good service and the extensive help! What I see here that the owner is deluded with a guy name “Molla”. Actually, it’s something weird that believes all of these customers conspired against him. I visited the store couple of times and met people there gave me bad reputation for their dive courses and specially Mr. Bourgoine. Mr. Bourgoine was my instructor one day. Believe me or not, he discriminated me because I’m colored person what I think. In contrast his attitude toward white people is much better specifically white women. It was very horrible experience for me.

Though I hadnt planned on it, I ended up taking the snorkeling tour on the Lady Go Diver. There were 6 other divers in my group.Martha and Cara were some of the best staff Ive ever dealt with: kind, helpful, friendly, good suggestions, and were very happy. Overall they made the experience wonderful.We left the dock at 9am and redocked at 1:45pm. There was more than enough time to snorkel and dive and plenty to see (a shipwreck, dolphins and many other fish). Watch out for jellyfish and take pills for sea sickness!

Completed my Open Water Scuba Instructor course with Dixie Divers over 20 years ago. The fact that they’re still going strong is great to see and we’ll deserved. Highly recommended.

I just went on a 2-tank dive off of Delray & Boca, and everything from the crew to the dive boat was top notch, run like I wish all businesses were run. Thanks to the experienced staff (and an amazing visibility day) I was placed on the reef with lobsters staring at me and my dive buddy as I descended down. Seriously, I cant see a dive trip going better than this. Thanks guys.

Highly recommend Dixie Divers, especially Gary Natkin if you are looking to be certified. Gary Natkin was my instructor for the Open Water certificate course and made the learning process fun, funny and memorable. This was my first experience with diving and the theoretical as well as practical sessions were led very thoughtfully by Gary. The pool sessions were great as was his flexibility on open water dive days. I was unlucky with windy weather, but then again lucky because Gary had good alternative options and was willing to coordinate to both our schedules.Thank you so much, Gary! The dive master was very good and the instructors were cool. Scuba Jim rocks. Chuck rocks. Total bros and super knowledgeable. The boat also has free snacks and water on board. The shop members and the boat crew are all very friendly and make an effort to learn who you are. The boat trips offer diving and snorkeling, so if you’re looking for a fun day’s activity, I’d recommend going out.

My boots rubbed my foot wrong and he helped me pick a new pair and exchanged them without a charge.Scuba Jim was our instructor and he was outstanding. Dixie Divers has it all. I brought 6 Boy Scouts here to get certified to scuba dive. The owner signed all of the boys up and scheduled our classes immediately. They have classrooms onsite and a pool for practicing and their own dive boat plus all the equipment you would ever need. The scouts instructor, Charles Kiss, is exceptional and took the time that was needed with each scout so they could master the necessary skills. After a classroom and pool session, they were off doing their first dive in the ocean and they all did great.I highly recommend Dixie Divers for any type of scuba instruction, equipment and repairs, or if you want to go diving off their boat. I had such an amazing experience today! Scuba diving is definitely not as easy as it looks but the staff at Dixie Divers made it all possible. Alex and Missy were AWESOME! Took a discover scuba class with Chad, and went on a two tank Dive with Daniel as our instructor. We had a tremendous time. This was our fourth time scuba diving (don’t ask why we haven’t gotten certified yet…) and we were very impressed by the way they adapted the Discover class as well as the dive to our level of experience. Stayed down for more than 45 minutes each or two dives, and saw all kinds of wonderful fish as well as a really cool wreck. The whole operation is first class.

I recommend this Dive Shop 1000% for your certification and shopping needs. It has a store and classes right on site along with a dive pool! They have a huge variety of merchandise and staff that is pleasant and super knowledgeable. I appreciated their kind staff more than anything, my instructor Andrew; was beyond patient and kind. I decided to try something new and glad I did.

If your looking to be scuba certified in basic, open water, advanced, anything, look no further, Dixie Divers is the best. Classes upstairs, pool out back, and they own a beautiful dive boat docked 5 minutes away. My son just received his open water cert, I tagged along on his second day of diving. The instructors, Tyler and Chyanne were cautious and strict, but not so strict that it wasn’t fun. The dive master Chuck and Boat Captain Bradley added to the experience by being helpful and friendly, I could go on and on,just a great crew and an awesome experience. I work in Deerfield, Dixie Divers has been here for at least 30 years, take a class, buy gear, go on a dive, you’ll understand why.

Tyler at Dixie Divers officiated us underwater as we got married through them. They also brought on Cynthia, the photographer, to catch our special day and they all did such an amazing job!! Such positive amazing staff, highly recommend diving with them... or getting married ;)

Just did a snorkeling outing and let me say that it was FREAKING AWESOME! This was my first time and I went by myself. It didnt matter. Every diver and snorkeler were so cool and I made a few friends on the trip! More importantly the captain and the crew were incredible fun and helpful. 10/10 recommend. The value is amazing for what you get! Dont hesitate! Book an appointment!

We had so much fun that we only took one hour break from our snorkel adventure and we are already back in the pool. Mask on, snorkel in... practicing. Many trips with Dixie Divers to dive, (open water, advanced open water, nitrox certified by Tyler) - always amazing experience. Professional, polite, knowledgeable... fun! You all are amazing!

Went snorkeling this morning with Will and George at Dixie Divers. They were excellent in explaining everything. My friend and I got a bit seasick, and the crew made both of us feel well taken care of the entire time. The staff at the store set us up with proper gear. The overall experience was fun and went smoothly. I would highly recommend them.

I had a great time with them! I would absolutely recommend them if you are trying to get scuba certified, specially for their professionalism. The classes are intense and they take safety very seriously but overall it is a wonderful experience. The boat crew and staff are amazing, super friendly and helpful!
