I will NEVER go to another Firestone in my life, ever. I will tell friends and family to avoid going to Firestone. I was up-charged 300% for parts (I did indeed look up the EXACT parts online), I was strung ualong on when my vehicle would be ready for days. The communication between the staff and myself was absolutely ridiculous.I don’t even know what to believe with what needs to be done on my car because for all I know, they were telling needed repairs JUST to get me to spend an additional $400 on something I didn’t need fixed.
Great service, quick and easy. Everyone here is respectful and efficient with their work. Will come back every time for maintenance. Would give 6/5 if I could.

Ive tried and tried with this place because of its convenient location. But after trying to book an appointment with them recently, I was told he was too busy to make an appointment and I should go online. Between the previous questionable service and this most recent slight, Ill make the longer drive to Goodyear or Midas.

So, made appointment for 8 am and get car at 11 am . I changed engine belt, that doesnt need 3 hr, right? Plus I was getting better quality belt at price 235, then got call, that it was not in stock and they put another kind of belt with lower price. Im fine but I guess I had to know that before labor done and not after.
I’m a little late at putting out my review; however a couple of weeks ago I had a flat tire and was in the Deerfield area. The manager upfront was terrific and the mechanics were great. I was 50 miles away from home and of course during this pandemic and hot weather I was feeling frustrated about what I would do. The manager found a tire in Arlington Heights and told me it would be a while before my vehicle would be done. I know that some time went by before the tire arrived and was installed; however, because the manager was friendly and kept me informed about what was going on, the wait time flew by. He kept others informed about their issues also. It was great customer service and I will go there again when I’m in that area. Great job!

This place is AMAZING!! Been using the Firestone chain for a while now and pretty much ONLY when absolutely necessary as the shop location we usually go to isn’t very friendly and the joint is kinda a dive - but hey, when your car is broke down I guess beggars can’t be choosers, right? The other morning on my way to work, one of my alarms starts going off indicating a tire pressure issue. Since I was nearly 45 minutes from my house, I Googled the closest Firestone to my work and drove to this location. I knew I made the right choice when I was immediately greeted with the biggest and warmest smile from behind the counter. I explained my situation and they asked if I just wanted it filled or if I wanted them to check it out. I figured since I was already going to be late, may as well have them look and maybe we can just solve the problem instead of patching it, you know? The dude behind the counter was the manager Tony and holy moly he was BEYOND helpful!! He kept giving me updates on my vehicle and just kinda checking in everyone in the lobby (it was pretty busy that morning). After about 90 minutes, they come and get me to let me know the verdict: turned out the problem was a little more extensive than just my tire being shot, however they walked me through everything and showed the problems so I understood what was happening. After going over all the options and the information at length, Tony gave me a GREAT deal and I felt incredibly comfortable knowing my car was in their hands. *They even informed me about a recall on my transmission that I wasn’t aware of (explains a bunch of issues) and instead of charging me extra, told me to contact the dealer since it would probably be covered there, looking to save me some serious coin. WOW!* Fast forward a week and 3 trips to the shop (waiting on parts, etc) and my car is now fixed and running better than it has in years!! I can’t say enough amazing things about this place or the manager!!! Seriously, I won’t go anywhere else now.
Its always nice to have a go to mechanic, but when I recommend this place, friends call me a HERO!! This store is top notch! Not just the lowest prices on huge selection of tires, they offer full auto repair. The staff is helpful and courteous and the manager Scott is a top notch professional.When I first went there, it was due to a faulty alignment from an out-of-state Firestone. Without hesitation, Scott took full responsibility and went above and beyond expectation to fix the the damage ENTIRELY. Because of his follow-through with corporate, everything was free and I imagine part of that came out of his store budget too. He literally saved me thousands.Over time their labor and recommendations have proved to be spot-on. I never feel pressured sales techniques or add-ons. Sales or service, they are always the lowest price and I trust them implicitly with my 2015 Lexus RX 350.Simply the best. I honestly cant say enough about this store.

The shop closed because the old owner didn’t pay his bills. The employees at shop were always honest and fast. The new crew is even better. I work locally and went back there today. Matt ( new manger ) was nicer than I could even ask after a part was delivered late ( not their fault). They are old school nice neighborhood shop. Another customer came in with mid 2000 BMW that needed very expensive part. They took time to explain why dealer vs after market parts are so different. Never pushed hard sell. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

This is my go to store for car maintenance. They take good care of your car. I never go to the dealership. Some managers here are very customer oriented and helpful while others may need some training.

I made an appointment online the day before for a tire change which they never called me for an approval so I assumed it was approved. But when I went in for my time they rudely said that they never approved it so they can’t do it for 3 days. Very disappointed.... not that I expected much tho
I recently had Firestone of Deerfield install four new tires on my Corvette Z06. The tires are large low profile 335/25--20 rears and 285/30--19 fronts runflats and are extremely difficult to get on and off of the wide wheels. However, Firestone of Deerfield has a Hunter Revolution tire changer and a Road Force balancer that made the job much easier and did not damage the rims. They were installed in a very reasonable time and balanced out perfectly. Manger Luke and Tire Tech Ivan were professional and excellent to work with. I would recommend them to anyone.
My understanding is that Firestone corporate took over the Deerfield Tire Co/Firestone independent that went out of business at this location. So glad they did. I brought my Ford Raptor there for a tire rotation and complete inspection. The two gentlemen that I worked with were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, not pushy in any way. I was not rushed at all. The waiting area was very comfortable. The inspection was so detailed; I am truly impressed. They even let me go out and chat with the Tech about my concerns. No surprises or added charges to the bill. I know where Ill be purchasing my next set of tires.
Good location. Better now that they are actually a firestone corporate location to get tires and lifetime alignment fulfilled here. I always call in the morning for an afternoon oil change and Im in and out at lunch when I need an oil change.

I drove in here at 7:00 am with a bad grinding sound so I knew the news would not be good. They diagnosed the problem very quickly (bad rear brakes) and took care of me right away. I was out of there within the timeframe quoted, at the price we discussed when the diagnosis was given, and my time there was very pleasant. The staff is awesome. They keep you informed of what needs to be done RIGHT NOW and what can wait. I paid for the RIGHT NOW work and will think about the rest. I would absolutely come here again since they were professional and their facility is comfortable and clean. My brakes work fine now, no grinding or other bad noises/problems.Brakes are always RIGHT NOW. Word to the wise.

For my first experience with this shop, I got 4 winter tires and an oil change. They tore the bead off of one of my tires during installation, so my tire went flat the next day. Another shop (another Firestone) replaced my tire for free and told me what had happened. They called the Deerfield location in front of me and told them what happened. After realizing that my mechanic was incompetent, I checked my oil, and the level was slightly low. I figured this was just a bad mechanic issue, I thought hed get fired and that would be it. Not so. My next experience with this shop, after reluctantly making an appointment (its super close to my house) for 2:30 for new brakes and 4 new all-season tires, I showed up at 2:25 and the guy at the counter said Inventory has changed, we cant do it today. Considering I was driving to Arizona the following day, which I told him while making the appointment, this was a pretty huge let down. So the problem was not just a bad mechanic, it is at all levels. Very poorly run business.
They added a screw to my license plate for free and it was fast service! I will definitely come back here.
David is my new go-to guy. He saved me countless dollars and time. (And no they did not pay me to write this review) One of the most honest professionals out there and will tell it like it is with no BS and no needless upsells. I am a skeptic and triple checked what he told me and I am so glad I went with what he recommended. Went out of his way to make my experience an 11/10. Quick in and quick out, fixed my tire problems and hooked informed me of future fixes that will need to be done free of charge. They were friendly and professional as well.
I needed a new battery for my SUV, as my car failed to start that morning. I had done some internet research and learned there was a nationewide sale going on for Interstate batteries. When I got to the store, I was not quoted the sale price. After I asked, the salesman reluctantly offered up that there was a $10 rebate. I brought up the sale info on my phone, and he agreed to it, seemingly disappointed that he could not put one over on me.The online info showed two battery options, one with a shorter life (5 years) and one with a longer life (I think 6 yrs, but my last one lasted 8.5 years). I wanted the longer life one, but the salesman kept saying I couldnt have the longer life one for the same price as the other. I kept explaining they were different prices, each about $25 off the regular price. I was willing to buy the more expensive one but he kept telling me I could not, as he was assuming that I wanted it for the price of the shorter life one So I settled for the shorter one to end the torture.They changed it quickly (a plus) but forget to back up the settings on my car, and I lost all the custom settings for my seats, locks, etc. To add insult to injury, the printer malfunctioned when printing my receipt, leaving it splotchy with excess ink, so my rebate was rejected. I had to go back to the store for a reprint and resubmit...a lot of work for $10.Ultimately I got a good price for way too much trouble. I had tried two other Firestone stores closer to my house and both said it would take 2 to 4 hours because they were busy, and one tried to charge me $30 to confirm my battery needed to be changed, even though they advertise this as a free service. I will return to the Skokie store next time, where I always had good service.
I am not one to write reviews but my experience here was so incredibly bad that I felt compelled to. My wife took in our car for a standard back brakes and rotors job. They did that and charged us $730 dollars for it. Then they called us and said that all of our lights on the dash turned on (this was not the case when we brought it in) and that the breaks were still acting up and they didnt know what was wrong with them. Fast forward 4 days, we get a call saying that our break fluid was contaminated and that our entire break system would need to be replaced which would cost us $4700. It is important to note that the car is a 2011 and contaminated break fluid is not something that just happens. I decided that the best thing to do would be to get the car out of there ASAP. I called and told them that I will be ordering a tow to come pick up the car. They said that this would not be an issue and that the car was ready to be picked up. I arrived at the shop 20 minutes before the tow was supposed to get there and was promptly informed that they had drained all of the break fluid from the car and that we could not get it towed that night. We never gave them permission to do this. If the break fluid was indeed contaminated, I would have liked my regular mechanic to see it and see how this would have happened but they, again drained all of the fluid AFTER telling me it was ready to be picked up and WITHOUT my permission. So anyway, I couldnt get a tow to get our car out of there for 24 hours (according to them). So the next day I get the car towed out of there as fast as I could. Now, I am $730 down and my car is far worse off then it was when I brought it in. At this point, I call firestone corporate headquarters to let them know what happened. They agree to have it towed to a third party dealership and have it looked over there and fix anything that they feel is their fault. They tell me that this could take 3-5 business days. I, of course, agree. 4 days go by and I get a call from Firestone saying that they will have a third party technician out to the dealership in about 5 business days. This is on top of the 4 days that my car has already been gone to this third party location. Now, I am sure you can imagine how mad I am at this point... They tell me the will try to get the process expedited. Another couple days go by and I hear nothing. I start to call and email them countless times with absolutely no response. this goes on for a long time. about two weeks of my emailing and calling with zero response. Now, at this point, my wife and I have gone a full month without our car and have paid $740 to Firestone.... I get a call exactly one month and one day from the original day we brought it in. Its Firestone. Finally. I can find out what is going on with our car, get it fixed and get back on with our lives. The rep begins, After our through review of the car, our technician has found no contaminates in the break fluid so this is not our fault and we will not be fixing anything. I tell them, again, for what feels like the hundredth time, THEY DRAINED OUR BREAK FLUID WITHOUT TELLING US SO OF COURSE THERE IS NO SIGNS OF CONTAMINATED BREAK FLUID. So basically, they destroyed our car and took it from us for a month and did nothing about it and we paid $730 for the experience. I would very strongly recommend not going here. If I could give a place negative stars, I would.

I shopped my tires at all the top places including Costco and the deal on Firestone tires from the Firestone on Waukegan was the best by a lot. Great customer service by Justin Vieth, the store manager. As a Deerfield resident it was a no brainer to keep my business local in Deerfield.

Can’t speak to the actual service...but they test drive their cars down Integrity Drive like complete MANIACS. When there is a bad accident in the complex, it will likely include someone from Firestone test driving a car.
