Very good customer service. I needed backup keys. My phone call confirmed they could do it. When I entered I went to the cashier and he directed me to the back counter where the key guy would meet me. Minutes later I was walking back to the cashier with my keys. Ill be back often.

Its got the very basics, which is fine if you need the very basics in a pinch, but not a place I go when I have a whole list of things I need for a project. They seem to be adding more to their inventory in the form of Christian bookstore type goods and not so much doing anything to improve the hardware store part of the business.

I like to shop at Ace because its a small locally-owned business. Their prices are a little higher than the big box stores sometimes, but they have a decent selection of products and even some interesting treats up front. The employees are helpful when it comes to locating things in the store.

Great family owned Hardware store! They always have people available to help and always have what Im looking for. The store is clean and organized and their prices are fair and often have sales and coupons through the rewards program. Go here before the big box store you wont be disappointed.

Ive been going to this ace hardware for years for small things. Its ok. Ace hardware is overpriced usually and youre better off at Home Depot or Lowes.Nice people though.

I needed special batteries for a door bell, and the people at ace were so helpful getting what I needed, they didnt carry them in stock but special ordered what I needed and called me as soon as it came in. Great people at a great store

Pricing on most things is on the high end but they have one of everything. From a convenience standpoint it is perfect.You wouldn’t come here to buy two of anything though.

In an emergency when you need a specific bolt and Menards or Home Depot would be closed before you could get there, Ace is the place. But if you have to buy more than a few bucks worth of stuff, go elsewhere. Their prices are insane. I needed a few 2x4 electrical boxes and a couple other odds and ends. Went into ace and about had a hear attack over the prices. Menards ended up being about 15 bucks, it would have been 50 here. Thats not an exaggeration.

There are a couple of reasons I gave a low score.1. It appears inventory tracking is not a priority. More times than I can count I have been disappointed by the lack of very ordinary common everyday hardware items. A good example is 3/4 and 1/2 inch CPVC pipes and fittings. The bins are commonly empty and those items are what is used in most of the houses around here and should be in plentiful supply. This is just one easy example but this happens more often than not on many common everyday items. It has happened enough that I go to another hardware store almost exclusively even though it is much less convenient of a location.2. There typically appears to be 4-6 employees out on the floor when Ive been there. Very rarely does anyone open a second register when there is a line of shoppers waiting. I waited in line almost 30 minutes one day while 2 employees were chatting it up at the paint area and others were walking by the line of customers oblivious.You got 2 stars instead of one because of your convenient location and the fact that, aside from the register problem, your employees are generally pleasant and helpful.Update 10/18/19I am changing my review to 5 stars as there has been a major improvement as of late and I believe in credit where credit is due. Inventory has improved and most of all the staff has been much more observant of the checkout line. Props to the team there for the vast improvement.

Great for a quick run to get that paint thinner or plug cover. Limited inventory so if its more complicated than that you may need to drive to that big box store.

I am disappointed in this store recently. I purchased a riding lawn mower online and it arrived in a box (only seat and steering wheel needed put on)on a pallet to ship. The staff member I spoke to insisted the only way we were allowed to take it is if he used a forklift on the item into our pickup truck and suggested we have 4-5 people at our home to lift it out of the truck. I tried to tell him multiple times that is not acceptable and we will have a trailer to roll it onto to bring home, we expect to roll it up there since its on wheels. My husband then called and explained the situation again and told the employee we will not forklift our riding mower (30in deck), we expect it to be off the shipping pallet and unboxed like at all other retailers and we will roll onto the trailer ourselves. When a family member arrived to put it on the trailer, the employee never touched the mower box and went home for the day knowing it was to be picked up that afternoon. I have tried to contact customer service to see if our experience is normal for the way they operate but they will not get back to me. I wish I would have chosen somewhere else to purchase.

These guys are fantastic. After my mower stopped working, I called them and asked if they could take a look. They said, Sure bring it up. Two gentlemen there had me running fine in about 5 minutes. I didnt have a plug wrench, and I asked if they would mind looking at the plug. They took the old one out put a new one in and changed the filter for me. Good folks there. It took 5 minutes and $5.95! I highly recommend these folks to anybody who has any equipment issues. I wish I could remember the two gentlemens names.

They are local and knowledgeable. They often have things in quantities that fit a customer’s needs rather than in a blister pack like many of the big box stores.

The customer service really is the difference maker when it comes to Ace. I needed a wheelbarrow and due to the pandemic, they were short on staffing and didn’t have any built. But while I shopped for other items, they got a couple guys to put it together for me and I was extremely grateful that they went the extra mile.

Its your friendly neighborhood hardware store that has a little of everything. I always enjoy shopping here

I rented a U-Haul truck and couldnt be happier with my experience. Reserving the truck just took a simple phone call. The day of the rental, I walked into the store and was greeted with a good morning and found the staff friendly and helpful. Returning the truck was just as easy. Moving day is never fun but the staff here wished me luck and provided the truck I needed with no hassles.With our daughter now living in Delaware, Im sure we will return to get the help and supplies we need with future home projects. My husband and I had the best experience this past weekend at Ace Hardware in Delaware. We went to the store for a couple things for our house. We are in the process of getting a patio installed and asked the store manager Laurel if they had any patio sets on sale. She gave us a great deal on a patio set (half off!!), already assembled, and to top it off dropped off the table and chairs to our house (no charge!) due to our car not being able to fit everything. The customer service we experienced was great and would recommend anyone to this location. Cant wait to enjoy our new patio set! ....Oh and see gave us free grass bags!

Masks for customers not required, even though there is a state wide mandate. Guy behind me in line had NO mask and was openly coughing. I will not be going there again.

The staff of Ace are always helpful and knowledgeable. When I walk in there and give a rough description of what I am looking for, they always seem to know what I need. The only issue is paint. Their cheapest paint is way more expensive than Menards and it goes up to $90 per gallon. That is ridiculous! Ace is not the paint place!

We love this Ace. Its local and convenient, and most of their store brand products come with a warranty too which is really nice.

Not a good place for paint.Their tubing sold by the foot. I purchased some 0.25 tubing rated for 180 degrees. A hot water feed to a humidifier. I installed the tubing, it expanded several inches and burst from the 120 degree water from my water heater. They purchased cheap tubing and didnt bother replacing the literature on their display. Lucky I caught it before flooding my house.VERY high prices and a rather limited selection. Keep in mind. But for a quick trip for something better than nothing. The staff are usually friendly if not helpful.

Will never understand how a place that claims to provide rental equipment is unable to rent them after a certain time. You can’t be the only hardware store in a one horse town and turn business away. I would say it will be my last visit to Ace but they have market is cornered. Fingers crossed that Lowe’s or Home Depot wises up and realizes Delaware is a big enough market for a location. 36 to Marysville from here on out for me!

I went to Ace Hardware to purchase a chainsaw. I worked with RANDY, hes an honest and informative associate. I purchased a STHIL chainsaw with zero pressure knowing I got exactly what I needed for what I was going to use it for.
