My son lives in Florida and when I came to visit him I noticed his 2015 Porsche Macan S was making a strange noise . I am a retired automotive executive from the Philadelphia area, so my dealers friends were all 1200 miles away. I read some reviews and then called German Auto World. They got the car right in, arranged alternate transportation, fixed the car quickly and at a reasonable price. We are now clients for life. Highly recommended !!!

Good work, cost a lot less then what the dealer charges for maintenance! Would have given them 5 stars if they had filled more motor oil. Indicator shows less than half after oil change!

I’ve been twice in this shop for different reasons, and both times I was very satisfied; they definitely know their business; they work on an organized manner and very straight forward. You definitively don’t want to go to any repair shop, but if it’s necessary, this with no doubt, will be good place to go. Ohh..almost forgot, even the price was good.

Awful. Sammy conned me out of $700.00 and did Nothing to fix my car!!!! He yelled, treated me poorly, and sent me to Gunther Volkswagen! He made me pay before anything was done! Sammy the. Scammer! He told me he had a reputation of being in business many years, he and Bernie Maddoff scam clients! Bad business! Is dishonest, like Maddoff!

I have found a home at German Auto World. I was greeted by courteous and professional staff once I walked in and continued to have exemplary service and everything explained to me in full detail of all the requirements needed for my vehicle to run safely. The waiting room is luxurious and fully furnished with TV and leather coaches. I was completely comfortable with coffee and snacks and within walking distance to restaurants and stores. I talked to and witnessed other long term customers come in and leave just as satisfied as I am. I recommend this shop to everyone that wants or needs service, body or complete restorations to their cars. I took my car in for a check engine light, not only did they fix the problem through my extended warranty but the found another issue with my car, my engine mounts were shot. So while on the phone with my warranty they found the mounts were also covered. Thanks Sam for caring about my vehicle you guys are the best I’m glad I took my car to you guys and not anyone else.

Technically, I did not get service there (I only spoke with them on the phone), but given these reviews, I am glad I did not, and felt my story was worth sharing. I got two estimates from other dealers and asked if they would review and match/beat them. The lady on the phone was so friendly, I was pretty sure I was going to use them. I faxed/emailed the estimate and never heard back. I followed up on email several times and got nothing. When I called back they said theyd look for it and get back to me. They never did. To be fair, maybe they just couldnt beat the price, but I was disappointed in their customer service, especially considering how pleasant the initial call was. So since I never got an estimate from them, if you are considering work there, Id get an estimate and call around comparing labor and part costs. Most services have stock rates and they should be able to quickly provide this information.

Im so happy I found this place. Not only did they treat me well, but they went above and beyond. The waiting room is awesome! Seating is great; so comfortable! Not only that but I got to watch cable TV while I waited. Free spring water, and coffee. They even took me to work one day cause I couldnt stay and wait. Its so hard to find a shop you can trust. Some of the places Ive been dont replace what they say they will. I know for a fact they do. They provide the old parts for proof. Ive sent multiple people their and they ALL said the same thing. Thank God I found them. My car wont go anywhere else!

The guys did a fantastic job on my Porsche replaced the IMS bearing and clutch in 2 days. Very honest about what I needed and what can wait thanks guys I will be back!

Never again, unethical and not trustworthy. I had to bring my car back after the initial service to fix the things they didnt do right the first time and was hit up with another bill for work they did without discussing with me first.They delivered the car with the alignment completely off and the gas sensor still not working. After waiting two days and calling to find out the status, I was told they fixed the alignment and gas sensors which is the only reason why I brought it back but they also put in a new battery and installed a new AC switch and my bill would be another $500. I already spent over 3,000 and nothing was discussed during the first service about the battery or AC being an issue.He worked with me on the price and offered to take the battery out, but at this point I had no trust they would put my original battery back and my car would run. The car was running fine and its very suspicious that all of a sudden the battery would go bad. They shouldnt have done any additional work and expect to get paid without getting approval or at least discussing options first.Did they fix my car, yes. Time will tell if they really fixed the AC.Would I go back or recommend to anyone, NO.

They will lure you in but eventually their tactics will dig DEEPLY into your wallet for no resolution to your problems. Stay AWAY from this shop.

I have been to them twice for two totally different issues. Both were addressed and in a timely and professional manner. They even let my daughter enjoy their own families toddler room while we waited.Price is right (relevant to the repairs) for brakes, they were almost Half the dealer. AC was about $150... for working AC in South Fl in the summer, I call that a bargainI have some body work to have done, I will probably let them do that as well...I am lucky to have them taking care of my cars, you usually cant find a shop like this these days. Go there if your in the market for a new shop, you will not regret it.

My car dealer stated I needed a wheel alignment that was not covered during a visit for a warrantied recall item. Declined their service and brought it to German Auto World for 40% less. That was good, but then German Auto World informed me that I needed control arm bushings that were cracked/broken that the dealer completed MISSED during their inspection. They suggested that I bring it back to the dealer since it would be covered under the warrantee. German Auto World has a new customer for life..it is nice to find a competent and honest company.

I had a wiring issue within the engine on my 2011 Audi A4. The dealership quoted me for a $800 repair. I felt as if I was backed into a corner. I did more research and found these incredible professionals at German Autoworld. They repaired the issue at a quarter fraction of the original cost. My car has been incredible ever since. I highly recommend this place.

German Auto World just serviced my 1999 Mercedes ML320. I found them to be professional, competent and personable. They diagnosed the problem, scheduled the service appointment and did the repair while I waited. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them!

Thank you Sammy, Joey, and all of the staff at German Auto World for bringing our 1980 Mercedes-Benz 450SLC back to form! Since our Benz was beginning to have problems, such as leaking transmission fluid, choking when we would ignite the engine, and not running as well, we researched long and hard for the best independent repair shop. Lo-and-behold, German Auto World was one of the best reviewed places we found and when we went, we were very impressed with Sammy, the owner, as he was personable, polite, honest, and extremely knowledgeable about cars, putting other shops and even Mercedes-Benz dealers to shame. What also impressed us was how clean and organized the shop was, which was another reason we ultimately ended up using them. Since we wanted to fix our Benz, we had him do all of the necessary repairs, like rebuilding the transmission, which was failing before he fixed it. While the repairs took a bit of time (from October 2017-December 2017), as he had to wait for original parts, it proved to be well worth it, as the car runs just like it did in 1980! Thank you guys again and look forward to doing more business with you!

Great service, detailed itemized estimates, and common sense. What else could I want?Two other auto service companies said my Land Rover needs $2,000 worth of bushings. Possible on this car, but I didnt feel anything driving it. Took it to German Auto World for its routine service and they showed me that the bushings are fine, no service required.Clearly Ill take all my car service needs to German Auto.

Sammy and Joe are the only guys that I allow to work on my 15 year old Volvo. They have kept it in pristine condition. The nicest, and most honest people you could ever do business with!

I took my 2013 VW CC in for repair. Sammy is very nice and helped me out a lot. He gave me a battery that was worth more than what I paid for and its just the little things that make a big difference. For example, when I picked up my car I noticed they adjusted my analog clock in my car after installing the new battery. They didnt have to do that but they did. The price was very fair and I will be taking my VW here from now on.

I brought my car (Audi A4) here because the turbo was not working. It took some diagnostics but they found the problem, after Audi dealership in coral springs and another local mechanic failed to find the problem. My satisfaction was important to the staff at german auto world and thats important when using a mechanic.

Had my wifes 2011 350 convertible serviced here. I came in for the oil change special, but after they had the car in the shop, they came out and told me that the brake system needed bleeding and fluid replaced. Also, the cabin air filter needed to be replaced. I wasnt aware of these needs, but gave them the ok. The mileage was 17,082. There was a piece of loose trim near the passenger door and Spiro attempted to take it off and in the process, he broke it in half. When I got home, I checked the previous service records and found that the brake system had been bled and flushed at 14,438 miles and the cabin air filter at the same time. So, basically, this shop is a ripoff and will try to upsell you.

My name is Dr. Gordon Frankel. I am compelled to write a review for German Auto World, Joe Barmichael, owner. I read a review recently that seemed to pertain to me. Apparently a customer was conversing with Joe, the owner, as he was paying his bill. I was told to stop by the shop with my Ferrari that day for a follow up after receiving amazing engine servicing. I was very excited as the car never ran so well. Joe came out so we could take the car for a quick spin to confirm that all was well, good customer service in my mind, not a joy ride. I understand that the customer became very upset and wrote a negative review. My personal experience starts when a friend recommended German Auto World several years ago. Prior to my relationship with Joe, I experienced numerous disappointments by the local dealers and so called experts, even for simple service or upkeep of my exotic vehicles. Their pricing was totally excessive and I was constantly bringing the cars back because of poor running, poor alinements and various other service issues not performed correctly. Then THANK THE CAR GODS!!!!! I found Joe Barmichael, owner of German Auto World. My experience here has been beyond what I expected. My Ferrari and Porsche have received large complete services, multiple performance upgrades, some restoration and simple maintenance. His knowledge and mastery of exotic vehicles and basically all things mechanical is well above anybody else I have encountered. My background as an owner of many different exotic cars is extensive. I have experienced many poor and greedy mechanics during my long career totaling thirty years of driving, modifying and maintaining many different kinds of exotic cars, always at the highest levels for peak performance and reliability. During my visits with Joe and the crew, I am always treated with respect for my time with fair pricing and complete explanation of the work to be performed. I am in Florida several times each winter where I keep a 14 year old low mileage Mercedes which I have taken to German Autoworld for major work once each of the last two years. Each time they ran into some unexpected difficulty, but insisted on staying with the original estimate and doing a fine job, taking as much time as necessary to do the job right.They have a relationship with nearby Enterprise car rental if you need a loaner (which you pay for at reduced rate). When the job needed an extra day, Sam at German Autoworld picked up the extra days rental.

I brought my bmw there for brakes after the dealer said it needed complete front and rear brakes totaling 1100.00 + they not only checked it for free, i authorized them to do the job, it cost me half !!!! nice clean shop, they took me under the car and showed me the repairs, joe and victoria were very helpful,, i strongly recommend them !!

Con artists. front desk lady never calls back. after having my BMWs control arm bushings replaced (took 4 days for simple job) i was talking with the owner joe trying to pay when a dude in a ferarri showed up, so joe walked away from me and left me there for 30 minutes to go out for a joy ride with his buddy. unbelievable this place still exists.

DO NOT have your vehicle repaired at this facility, they will charge for things that you dont need or they just didnt do. I made the mistake of going back a second time, I had my suspicions but I figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt, I was so wrong. I was charged for a transmission rebuild when all that was done was changing fliud and filter.I never authorized the repairs and was not informed ahead of time.After doing research I learned this same place was in Miami and was closed down. Beware of the owners Joe and Victoria Barmichael, they will con you very well.
