Specifically, Bill at the LoDo store was so friendly and helpful! With his help I completed my errand in record time. Give that man a raise. : )
We will be back here and shop for more! Strongly recommended! Others must visit! You wont be disappointed!
Great store. Lots of in stock items that are useful and of good quality. Nice staff. Good parking. Your average office supply store. Nothing bad can be said. Keep up the good work team. Ive been there many times and will return.
This location is going out of business. Supplies are limited and there is no printer ink at this location. Sad to see this location close.
This location is closing. Get 25 to 75% as posted.
Terrible customer service. I was the only customer in the store and needed help packaging and shipping something back home. Staff did everything they could to avoid helping me. Never managed to ship the item.
They are going out of business.
This Office Depot is kind of small and has a funny setup. Was never asked if I needed help locating anything, which isnt an issue as I can navigate stores fairly well. But it would have been nice and made my trip a lot quicker and more enjoyable.
I had posted a previous negative experience but went to Office Depot today and they clarified the misunderstanding on the gift card issue. Very happy with the response
What a great group of cool and helpful people! I went in yesterday and they were prompt and helpful. In a rush, I forgot my water bottle, and went back there for it the next day to find it safe and sound. Thanks guys!!!
Very helpful staff. left my wallet here and they graciously returned it
Katelyn is always super helpful and knows her stuff. Thanks, Katelyn!
Didnt actually buy anything but if I need to I know where to go. Tanner is a genuinely good dude. Could have had a terribly bad day if it wasnt for his kindness. Thanks again! 👍
Weve been coming here for two years and today was the last straw. We came to ship a few boxes and the bald employee denied us use of the stores tape and referred us to the section of the store where we could buy our own.Between my personal shopping and the business I work for a half block away weve spent a lot of money here on things actually deserving of money. And yes, weve actually bought tape for our store here.Hes been a problem the entire time weve been coming. On a previous occasion, hes denied us use of free USPS shipping boxes. Fortunately there was a manager who spied what was going on and rectified the situation.Ive awkwardly witnessed him engage another employee in an argument in which he had to apologize for while I was trying to shop.If I have to ask him questions Im actually happiest when hes dismissive and abrupt. Because when he has time to talk he makes it abundantly clear that hes smarter than you are, and I hate to be a bother. The shopping experience at this store is one in which you hesitate while you open the front door dreading that that one employee isnt lurking inside. This store currently has a 3.3 star rating. Its obvious Im not the only one with these experiences here.Shopper beware.
I went into this store the other day with a coworker to make a purchase. We had to wait because their system was down. Tanner was amazing! He went up and beyond to help us out. I will definitely go back to this store because of him. Great job!!
Needed to print tickets to a Rockies game that someone forgot, and they were very accommodating. We were in and out in just a few minutes and they had no problem helping us get on our way. I was very impressed with the staff here!
Great customer service. I almost went to another store but they showed me some alternatives to what I was looking for. The front desk greated me and treated very well! Thank you all kindly.
Definitely a smaller downtown metro location, but they had very knowledgeable staff in their color copy production. This place is definitely a go to if you are in downtown Denver and need some stuff quick and reasonable. This place is half the price of Kinkos for copy services. This location has bailed me out many times when I needed stuff for convention demand in Denver. They definitely helped me get my materials out in a blink.
Went into exchange an item and the representative/cashier was very unhelpful. She didn’t really know what she was doing. She returned my items instead of exchanging them and did not let me know what she was doing it this way. Venetta I believe was her name but i couldnt ask for it because she walked away as soon as the transaction was over, with no further acknowledgment.
I bought a computer chair here and purchased assembly for an additional $12. I was informed that something went wrong with the sales processor and my debit card, and I was told that I would have to come back to the store to run my card again. The second time, the clerk forgot to include the assembly in my order. A delivery man came to my home and dropped the unassembled chair off in a box. He told me he couldnt assemble the chair. I opened the box, tried the assembly myself, and could only complete half of the assembly as the instructions werent clear and the bolts included in the set werent very secure. I called the store and was told to call the main Office Depot line. I was told to call the contracted assembly company directly, and they told me assembly would cost $60. I returned to this store and explained my situation to the staff. I was told that the chair could not be assembled for a week and it would cost $60 because it was an in-home assembly. Frustrated, I explained that this happened through employee incompetence, and the clerk very generously credited my card with $35 cash, and so it turns out that assembly will only cost $25 after all. I am glad that this situation was resolved fairly. I am deducting two stars for employee incompetence and wasting my time, but I will give 3 for a fair resolution.
Jill is AMAZING. I was in a pinch and she rushed my order and over saw the whole transaction personally. This location is typically out of my way, but it will be well worth the trip in the future. Rock on, downtown Office Depot, rock on.
In a bind this place works but there is no public work station to print from. You must either email or bring in files on a USB. 50% of the time Employees are usually pretty unhelpful or unwilling to help.
I just want to thank the staff at this location. They were all so helpful to me and my dog. The gentleman behind the counter had a solution for everything and even helped me find a bowl shaped item so I could give my dog some water. Thanks, great service.
The sales staff tried to sell me an item for $12 more than the listed price. When I brought to their attention that the tag differed from the price they quoted me, they said I read it wrong and that the item I was trying to buy wasnt marked on the shelf at all. When I went back to look at the shelf, I checked the tag. The tag on the shelf was indeed for the item, down to the unit #, brand, type and UPC number. Not sure why they tried to lie to me and charge me 200% of the price by saying the tag didnt exist when not only did it exist, but also every detail of the item was listed in plain English.
Ive had only good experiences at this store - with quality of product, layout, selection, and customer service. The folks helping me with copies and mailing have been uniformly friendly and helpful. Every time Ive needed to locate a product, the staff have been efficient in getting me to the right spot. Theyve just moved to a new location and even though its a smaller concept, they still have a wide variety of products.
They need to fire people like Phoenix and hire employees willing to do their job. It would be nice if they offered customer service at this location.
Smaller than suburban stores but well stocked. Convenient to Union Station.
Worst same day business cards service! I ordered business cards a day in advance hoping to pick them up the next morning. I was called by one of the print specialist that next morning to tell me the formatting was messed up and that I needed to cancel the order, edit the cards and resubmit the order, which I did. She also told me that my order would be first in line considering I submitted the original order the day before. I told her I needed the cards no later than 4:30 pm, which seemed reasonable since it provided an entire day for printing. I got to the store at 5:00 to find that my cards hadnt been printed, both printers were jammed with paper, the cutter didnt work, and only one employee was manning all the printing, cutting work, and customers. Mind you, three other employees, including the manager, were off doing nothing while this one gal was working her butt off. Fifteen minutes later my cards are finally printed. After brutally cutting up the first few sheets of my cards and concluding, the cutter wasnt working this employee had to cut the cards by hand. Considering I was already 20 minutes late to an event I was heading toward I offered to help her cut some as well. While I was cutting the cards, the manager was right there, aware I was doing the work, not acknowledging me and doing nothing. When I confronted the manager about the poor customer service, he gave excuse after excuse. He blamed me for not putting the order in sooner (because obviously a day and half in advance isnt enough time for same day service) and blamed that he cant control if his machines are broken. He excused that each employee is assigned a specific job and that they dont help each other with their duties (what a great team work atmosphere!). I finally left at 5:45 with half of my cards poorly cut, the rest I offered to take and cut at home. If you need same day business cards, or something printed in a timely manner, do NOT go to this Office Depot. Oh, and I was a half hour late to my event to boot!
This store was extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. We dropped off a flash drive and let the guy working know that we were in an extreme hurry for these pictures and that the sooner we could get them the better. We proceed to wait 35 minutes before he tells us that his computer went down and he wouldn’t be able to print the pictures. I wanted to yell at him in the store for not calling us sooner when we made it clear how big of a hurry we were in. Never shopping at this store again.
Bad experience. Employees not willing - or at least, not empowered - to help a customer with an emergency. A business that hasn’t underatood its real market is emergency replacements. Their lack of willingness to help cost me the evening. I won’t be back to Office Depot again.
UPDATE: Avoid this place. Employees are rude and dismissive. I find this to be incredibly unbecoming and unprofessional. Original review below.Well this is a shame but I am rather disappointed with it recently. There used to be quality service here and an air of friendliness walking in but lately Ive notice that change. They no longer let you test certain products even minimally and ones that are necessary to test such as the bluetooth speakers they advertise on display. I dont understand whats wrong with a quick and small test of the product. All they say is that I should just get it cause its bigger and should have more bass then the one I have. The staff dont seem as friendly as the old ones about a year or two ago and the guy there didnt even know what basic RCA cables were until I showed them online on my phone. Their stock has also dropped in quality while the price increased in terms of computers. When purchasing a new battery for my laptop the prices are beyond ridiculous and would be in the hundreds vs getting the same battery on Amazon for around 20 bucks. Overall there are many more reasons to avoid this place and go to Best Buy over it. This is an issue with all Office Depots lately unfortunately but especially on the mall as their competitor (Radioshack) is now gone. They lost a loyal and good customer here. Again, take my advice and go the extra mile to get to Best Buy if you have the option.
Its a small store. The employees in the front ask you what youre coming in for. If you dont say to buy technology they arent helpful. Theyre always out off the basics. Theres always people behind the counter but for some reason they always have an excuse as to why they cant ring you up. Confused if they understand you need to sell things to stay in business.
Good place for all stationary and office stuff. I got good offers on every visit. Right on the 16th street mall road.
2 packages dropped there never made it to post office a third package had clearly been opened and stuff taken out.
Had a good experience here when I went to print some poster events. The customer service is great and friendly staff. Thanks!
I go in to print and she prints in color WITHOUT me asking! It isnt about the $3 I paid for 4 pages with hardly any color on them, its pathetic that she would deliverately try and cheat me. Im in there often, but I will not be back! Black and white is always the default!
I have had two unsatisfactory experiences in this store downtown Denver. My 1st experience (actually both) were with the Operational Manager Robert. On the 1st interaction, I went in to pick up my notary stamp that I had ordered a month earlier. As promised, no one called to advise that the stamp had arrived, not a big deal, I deiced to just drop in to check the status of my order. The operational manager, acts like he his looking for my stamp and blames the other workers for not leaving him a note to where he can find the orders. With all of his non customer service emotion he tells me I need to come back later....NO problem, I only work a block away. Now with this experience I did feel that as the manager you should know where things are in the store. But no problem.**I did go back that after noon and the worker went right to where the orders are kept and gave me my notary stamp that had been in the store for a week** Still no problem...I go in today to purchase some head phones and the Operational Manager is there again....So I ask him if he now knows where the stamps are kept for when some one is picking up there order....He again says he does not know like 10 times and continues to ring my order up...the look on my face must say 1 million word because he asks me what is wrong.....I try to explain to him that as a Manager he should know where things are in his store...He again says that someone is supposed to leave him notes on where to find things...the night crew ( I guess). At this point he is pissed and I am confused because, Im not mad....I was just looking for him to say yeah they are kept over here...but instead he says he doesnt know 10 more time....My issue is simple and I can only speak to if I was an operational manager to a busy downtown location. I would never want the customer to have to come back twice for their merchandise. If I did not know something the 1st time, I would surely make sure to know the next time. But my story does not end there....I forget my keys on the counter and have to go back into the store to get them....This man is talking very badly about me...calling me all types of unprofessional racist names...I retrieve my keys and exit the store...I really hope this review assist others that may have to visit this store in the mornings...do not expect any service if you have to deal with Robert the Operational Manager...The one star rating is due to that the other worker in the store were nice and appeared to be doing there job...
They pack a variety of useful products that can take you out of a hurry.Staff is very attentive.Prices are ok but not great
Convenient in LoDo. Staff is friendly and almost hover over you. For some reason, the checkout process is slow. I come for small office supplies. If you have a big print job, take it elsewhere - they take a long time and copies are expensive.
Excellent Self Service Scanning, copying faxing & Emailing capability
Great staff, extremely fast and friendly, also helped me save money on my prints, saved me 82% and I didnt have to switch to Gecko.
Very helpful staff, great selection and awesome location!
Friendliest print staff downtown. They went above and beyond to help and but together items for our conference.
For its size, it has a great selection. Best option for pens on the mall (if they dont have what you want, Guirys isnt too far away). Generally no wait to check out or get assistance.
A typical OfficeMax. Easy to get to. Located downtown Denver right by Union Station!
I went in here for a USB and not once did any staff approach me and ask if I needed anything. They did have what I needed. Found it on my own.
Best office depot time and promp service with great customer care
They are so friendly and nice. I was in a huge hurry and was super stressed out about an audition I had and they got me in and out fast and made me feel so much more calm despite how hectic my day has been.
Not so much the store I ahve an issue with other then they did nothing to help back the product they sold. I purchased a Dell 2-in-one from them and literally, almost to the day, the computer warranty was up the machine comepletely deteriorated. For starters, I was barely used and kept in a safe place so has no damage. The battery was the first thing to go followed by the processor and video card; like dominos. So sparing you too much blah blah, the people at the store we’re nice but no help and the computer I bought there was $500 of garbage that I basically never got to use.
Their staff is extremely flippant and rude. All they care about is the bottom line and they absolutely have no interest in helping you. If you have something you want to buy their extremely stoked about that other than that theyre very very unhelpful. save your money and go anywhere else
Im pretty sure their internet is still dial up. No options to print from in store since their internet was so ungodly slow. Tried to print remotely and pick up in store for 5 pages what should have taken 30 seconds took an hour.
Awesome customer service! The quintessential one stop shop.
Its an office depot just like every other one. Service was fine. Range was what you would expect.
The staff is always helpful, I can get in and out of there very quickly.
I recently sent 2 packages from this location and they were both opened and had items removed/stolen.. I would not trust this place
Walked in today to quietly browse and see if they happened to carry my favorite pencils or something that would work with my new gadgets. They were horribly overstaffed, with a new person approaching me to overly-enthusiastically try to help me every time I turned around or walked around a display. No matter how many people I told that I was just looking, checking your pencils, or thanks, but Im fine, another person would pop up in their place asking for details asking, What brought you in today? or What are you looking for? I was not even there for more than a few minutes... It was fine the first three times times, but by the fourth, fifth, sixth (I lost count around this point), then I just wanted to run out of the store to never return again. On top of that, they didnt have any of the things I was looking for, anyway.
It has a very friendly and helpful staff. It is a mini version however, so I suggest calling them to see if they have something before heading down there.
Make sure if you call to see if they have something in stock, you ask the associate at the store to ACTUALLY go on the floor and CHECK if they have your item in stock. 2 times in a row they told me over the phone they had the item and they didn’t. Both times were emergencies and I wasted my time going downtown at rush hour and finding parking for nothing. And the associate on the phone the second time sounded annoyed when I asked her if she was SURE she had this item. Terrible customer service.
This place never has anything in stock, always out of everything, always dirty and looks to shoveled, employees seem lazy, when theyre out of things they dont want to go look in the back. Worst Office Depot ever!
They wont accept a return made online, and will not help at all
Terrible customer service and a very pricy as well as small selection for blue tooth devices related to keyboards for Android or tablets. Staff refused to make any contact with me. One guy I stopped to ask for help gave me a hurried half out the mouth reply and pointed in a direction to a product I was not at all looking for when I described my need. The staff all processed to watch me out of the corner of their eye while they talked over their mic headsets. Im guessing they thought I was just in there too steal something since Im coming from work with my back pack on. Im quite frankly disgusted with this place and the way the employees treated me.
Store is somewhat small and does not have a huge technology section. However the staff are super friendly and if you need any proper office supplies they will have them.
Clean, well stocked, friendly staff and lots of options.
Fast service, good selection of computer accessories.
Would have left a lower rating if my phone let me. Went in to look for a nice computer chair..Was greeted with shitty customer service, severely limited availability (why is it on the floor if you dont have any in stock, and cant sell floor models), and a complete lack in product knowledge. Left disgusted with my experience, will never shop here again. Craigslist would have been a better experience.Edit: I know theyre the same company but I went to the arvada office max shortly after. They were also out of stock of the chair Im interested in, but went out of their way to keep the sale, and kept the sale price. Office depot offered nothing of the sort.
Quick service, was able to make the train and get my product
Awful customer service literally worse than DMV.
Great place for shipping packages and picking up office supplies. Friendly employees.
Terrible customer service.
I couldnt figure out which staff was the cashier and which staff was for the copy center. Either way, there was no one available to help answer my questions and find the product I needed so I left and went to Walgreens instead.
Employees are rude and have poor customer service skills.
Helpful staff, but very limited selection.
This place is huge and the staff was polite and knowledgeable
Terrible customer service and was just brushed aside. Asked about a few items and basically got told what they had in store is what they had and tough luck. No help what so ever
Fast & friendly staff always. Occasional creepy homeless people can wander in though making it a little uncomfortable.
I had an employee helping 3 customers at once - and doing it very well! Good job!
Good place to go for cheap school supplys even in december
Nice range of goids for your office
Great place to wait for my 2 day late print order to finish! ... But they did try to make up for it.
Sat waiting for a half an hour well there systems kept going down. Also clerk tried to make me pay for stuff twice after he wasnt sure if the credit card went though. Hopefully this is not a norm for this location
Long waits and less-than-optimal pricing. Few other office supply stores downtown.
Not a great selection but is convenient
Its very crowded but the employees were kind. Als, there are several doors but the entrance is on 16th Street.
Ever since they moved locations downtown everything has gone downhill. They never have what Im looking for. Whenever I have items printed for my business the order is ALWAYS wrong! Their customer service is VERY fake! I would much rather do business with Alphagraphics!
Amazing people, Mark is awsome..!!
Bad customer service called the store and 15 min later showed up and the exact opposite of what was discussed happened
Great service, had what I needed
I have called the store and asked if they have a particular item in stock. They have confirmed they have it in stock. And when I show up at the store after 5 minutes the store clerk said they dont have it it is an online order only.
I am a regular customer at Office Depot and have been here on 3 occasions to have print jobs completed. The print counter is habitually understaffed and what should take no more than 10 minutes takes anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. Don’t go here if you have any sort of a timeline or schedule.
Interesting location for an Office Depot; convenient.
Theres not a very good selection at this location. Plenty of printer supplies, not a lot of office related items.
Very helpful staff!
Way over priced. Especially printing costs
Extremely slow service. Extremely understaffed.
One place in 16th street where you can find stationary and office items
Expensive and slow service.
Helped me print out a ton of paper for a small book I needed to study.
A little unorganized but great if your in a rush.
Friendly and helpful staff
