I was left on hold for 17 minutes. When I when I 1st called the store I asked them if they had a number the guy said yeah and? 😂 🤣 didnt ask for myborder number at all. So when I got to the store he wouldnt even check in the computer system for the order either he said if its not on the pick up then its not there. serious lack of courtesy for a store welcoming new customers.

Disorganized and terrible customer service. We placed an order and got a text that it was ready. Once I arrived they had no record of the order and fumbled around looking for 15 minutes. I prepaid and was charged for the full amount. Don’t trust them with anything time sensitive or important.

Normally I know what Im looking for on this occasion however I needed and assistance and no one was available to step up to the plate except an associate named Justin. I was trying to purchase a chair and was distraught at not being able how to make them recline they all seemed stuck in the standard sitting position. Two associates just said they are built that way but when Justin saw me trying to figure the chairs out he offered his assistance right away. He said Yea I know everything there is to know about those chairs, I built them. If it wasnt for Justin I wouldnt have figured out the recline function and I would not have bought the chair which I am extremely happy with now, thanks to Justin and his enthusiasm about the product I got what I needed.

Employees rude and unhelpful lied on the phone and had me drive to the store for nothing

First time entering this store. I was greeted warmly by the staff who were still busy with clients. I spent 10 minutes browsing for a new laptop and then the manager Nikki came to assist.She spent plenty of time explaining the products and services available. As well as real world situations for the new tech. Suddenly a homeless disruptive client added a lot of spice to our lives and yet without missing a beat she excused herself from me politely and dealt with the situation in a respectful and meaningful way. Once done she came back to me and represented Office Depot and humanity with grace and class. When we were confronted with a problem at the register she was able to use her good judgment and make a commercial decision in the moment and show compassion for the client the company and the products being sold.Working in the hospitality sector I know when I receive good service because I know that is how I want to be treated.I believe that the next time I need something even if there is a closer store I will go out of my way to go there.

I was always printing documents and photos there untill I got my own printer. People there were always polite and helpful.

Can’t not say enough about how disappointed i was trying to get my supplies at this location. First of all their prices are 100% outrageous! no let me back up . first there are 3 employees behind the counter when i walked in. one was looking like she was helping one of the 5-6 people i saw mulling about the counter. the other two were clearly pretending to be to busy to realize there was 5-6 people obviously needing assistance. they did not look up once to acknowledge anyone nor myself as i entered. then i saw the prices. i just bought a new bmw so i’m not broke but i wouldn’t pay the prices they have if it were live saving medication they were selling! i found my envelopes printer paper and stamps at a local grocery store on 9th and corona very reasonably priced. the stamps of course were regular prices. then i stood close to the country thinking well i came here i’ll get my stamps at least. i realized after a few minutes that everyone was waiting to get helped or check out yet there was no line per say and no one was being attended except the one guy with employee 3. i have health issues including a spinal disease and cannot stand for more than a few minutes so i called the store, yes from standing 10 feet from the counter and let it ring and ring and ring and not one employee moved to answer the phone. so i put my phone on speaker so everyone could see i was calling in to get someone to answer or just look up and finally when the other customers realized what was going on i said “apparently this is a pretend office depot and we’re just actors and not real customers” and i along with everyone else walked out. you’re probably saying why didn’t i just go up and say excuse me? it’s because i wanted to see what level of service this store was providing to people desperate enough to pay their ridiculous prices. and i found out. ZERO! the manager there needs to be fired along with the employees because there are people who would love a job and would be happy to actually do their job and not just stand around and expect a paycheck on fridays. my box of 20 envelopes was 1 tenth the cost at the grocery store and my print paper even laser printer paper was less for 3 x’s the amount as well. never again office depot on colfax! people have lives and don’t come there to mill about like they’re in a library.

Went to buy a USB-C cable. But most (75%?) of a massive wall of choices werent stocked. The two visible employees were busy and there was no one to ask, so we left - wasted time.

Printer didnt work, payment system didnt work. Took 30 minutes to get a printing job done when it should have taken 5. Staff was nice but preoccupied with another machine-related issue.

Helpful and friendly staff, great products available as always, but in the copy and print department I wish they would have done the usual process of printing off one, letting the customer check it, and then printing the rest. It was only 12 of each but I was too behind on my errands at that point to ask him to reprint the black and white set.The images ended up very grainy, I believe it was because the image was scanned as a document instead of a photo. Thats what it turns out looking like when I forget to change that setting on my works scanner at least.

Updated...Walked in to buy a printer, some paper, office supplies and a small laptop computer. Two clerks were standing around chatting and laughing and when I walked by they turned away and walked off as if I wasnt there. There were three employees visible and not one of them greeted me or asked if I needed help. I am now heading to Staples.Update: One year later decided to try them again as they are the closest office store to my home. That was a mistake. The clerk Ana, was so rude that it took me by surprise. Whatever you do, dont ask her for help, because that will just make her angrier. I spend a lot of corporate money on office supplies. Office Depot will never get a penny of it. Ever.

There is poor service in Denver but this store is pretty amazing. Matt and the other employees that work there are good people who do their best to serve patrons. They dont control prices and store policy but they certainly do whatever they can to help shoppers find the best solution for their needs and they do it quickly. I own a business nearby and get a lot of supplies at that location and think the staff are wonderful. For those who do not appreciate this level of service and the nice people who work there, Denver is probably not a good place for you so leave us to own town and our culture.

So impressed with the exceptional customer service provided today by Ryan and the Colfax Office Depot. He is incredibly knowledgable about all of the products and printing services they provide and, after 2 previously failed printing attempts elsewhere in town, he took care of us patiently and quickly. I use this store all the time for copies. The service is always wonderful. My order is always ready on time, and the people are all incredibly friendly (regardless of how busy they are). So glad to have them in the neighborhood. Oh, yes - the prices are great too .

The print department is the best department in town yet the manager Nikki is very rude an lazy. Everyone was busy an trying to help customers and yet she she stood and watched. I walked up to her an ask her her name and she rudely Said it. My friend asked her where an item was she ignored him as if he wasn’t asking her a question been coming there for years an never have I seen someone so rude and nasty. This is my go to store but hiring new managers that have no clue about management or how to be kind to customers is terrible. Will be letting my friends and family know not to come to this store because of her.

Every time I come into this store, I get excellent service!! The staff is always super helpful, and even if they are busy, they always make a point to tell you that they will be right with you! They always make your project look professional and will always be extra helpful if you are needing something super specific. Ive been going to this location for about a year and every time Ive been amazed by the willingness of the staff to go above and beyond helping the customer (even at times where its extremely busy and they seem to be understaffed). People deserve credit where credit is due and although the store has some problems, the staff is amazing.

I sell clothes online & I’m always at this location printing shipping labels. The staff now always greets me, ask how my store is going and before I even walk through the door, they have my labels printed and ready for me. The staff is incredible and I can’t stress that enough.

My issue has been resolved but I’ll keep this up out of principle.I want to leave a ONE STAR review, but I hate leaving negative reviews -even for large corporations, so here’s 5. I hope this will save one of you from a headache. DO NOT go home with your banner, sign, or any print job unless youre 100% sure youre happy with it. I had a vertical banner printed here. I picked it up on last Friday, looked at the finished product (thought the black ink sorta looked gray but I dont know what theyre supposed to look like), and took to the office to show to my team on Monday. My graphic designer told me that the black ink wasnt right. I called the store to ask if theyd reprint it for me. ONLY THEN, I learned that once my print has been approved and taken home, theres no return. I even expressed my concern about the black ink when I picked it up. The store let me leave unsatisfied without letting me know about the policy. This office depot is in my neighborhood and Ive been coming here for 5 years now. My search for a local print shop begins. Either dont make my mistake or buy your sign from Smart Press, Zazzle, or your local shop. Dare I say even Vista print might have better service. At least they have some sort of customer satisfaction guarantee. Theyre all cheaper and will make things right every time. I wanted to purchase a laptop and no one could help me. No one approached me or greeted me. I tracked down a customer service associate to ask for his help, and he told me he was off the clock then walked away. I know he was finished with working for the day, but at least introduce me to someone who can help. It was pretty tacky treatment. So I just decided to shop elsewhere. It’s just really hard to find decent help In that store location. I usually don’t go out of my way to write reviews about bad service...just because it is what it is and good results rarely come out. BUT this was just bad and very frustrating. I had to warn other shoppers at least.

I had a very good experience at this store. I had a large format print job. The first and second runs showed some faint lines on the image. The representative called the printer manufacturer to resolve the issue and printed a third version for me. I was very appreciative of the representatives conscientiousness and persistence in producing an image of the quality that I sought. Great customer service.

I love the smaller store concept, but unfortunately theyve also significantly downsized their level of caring. Basic mounted poster board was printed on the wrong paper and not mounted at all. Staff was oblivious. They ended up reprinting it thankfully (although not quickly, it took 2 tries). Ive come in here multiple times and just purchasing something off the shelf can be challenging.

Office depot is always a good place to visit. The young sales rep was very helpful with our purchases. Even though their system crashed she made it an easy experience.

The lady in the printing area was very helpful and went extra mile to help me when she didnt have to, she even helped me save over $30 by suggesting a better solution. GREAT SERVICE

I went in to store with my husband to make copies of some documents for an upcoming appointment. Both of the self service copiers were down. So I had to wait in the really long line. The two employees behind the counter didnt seem to have any sense of urgency. They were talking amd laughing and there was a customer who was complaining about her scrapbook they printed for her looked bad. She was taking up a lot of time. Both of the employees were helping her while a long line was also waiting. I felt it was unprofessional for them to be standing around joking and laughing while there is a long line of customers to help. I will not shop here again unless I absolutely have no other choice.

Welcome to the time warp! Its like 1995 in here. Price on my item was twice as much as their website. Guy honored the online price though.

First they are very friendly I always have good experiences when I go there the crew is always willing to help you find something, the computer techie is always knowledgeable. He always triple checks to make sure everything is in working order before you leave the store.

A few days ago, just before placing an Amazon order, I called this location to ensure that they served as an Access Point for UPS and, namely Amazon. When told by the rep that indeed they did provide this service, I addressed my Amazon package in care of this store. Today, after receiving a text that the package was delivered, I went to the Office Depot to retrieve it. I was told by the clerk that the manager Curtis would have to speak to me, and she called him over a radio system, talking to him as he stood 15 feet away. While I waited for approaching five minutes, another clerk asked me if he could help me, as I started to tell him the reason I was there, the manager proceeded to lecture me, as if I was in grade school, about how they dont provide the service, only dropoff. As I preceded to tell him about the clerk on the phone telling me they did provide the service, instead of acting like a manager and politely telling me their policy, he repeated his same words over again, talking over me when Id try to interject. He told me twice they refuse and send them back, in a very snippy tone. Since I didnt want to spend my Sunday morning checking an Office Depot manager with a GED at best, I took my packages and left. The only reason Im giving this store one star is that the rest of the staff were extremely pleasant, its just too bad they have to work for such a douche like Curtis. Needless to say Ill never enter this overpriced store again.

I get everything I need to run my business from here. The staff is absolutely amazing and frankly I stop in just to see them half the time. If you need anything, they either have it, know it, or can show you where to get it.

Ive been a customer for the last couple of years at this location. Its never been a great experience shopping at this store. Yesterday I sent a print order for three pieces of paper to Office Depots printer. When I arrived I noticed that their print jobs were in a total disarray scattered around the store. I spoke with three different employees before one of them checked the computer. Another employee said he had seen the printed pages but no one could find them. It took about half an hour before they re-printed. So frustrating.

Worthless staff. Asked for help twice and was ignored, then when asked if they had a common notebook, a staff member said “no, we don’t” in a snarky tone. Further, she had ZERO interest in finding me something like what I wanted from what they had in stock. That, and in general, their inventory is terrible. If I’m going to spend anything on office items, I’m going to Amazon. Coming from a former employee, I’m f’n disgusted by this place.

I have to utilize various office depots around the metropolitan area, depending on the area I am driving through at the time. The Downtown Denver customer service is awful. Twice Ive tried to send a print job to the Colfax store and although it took them 2 hours to check their email, it was going to take another 2 hours to print 100 pages. The attitude was were busy. Ironic, considering I use the busiest office depot in Colorado (on Arapahoe Rd) and they are never too busy for more business. I actually went into the Colfax store today to talk to a manger to figure out if the problem was with a specific indidvidual or the store as a whole. There were 4 employees standing around, with me and one other customer. We were ignored. I think the problem is from the top down at that store. avoid it. The parking for office depot on Blake St, is a nightmare. Theres no streetparking or loading zone, so youll have to use the parking garage. Although they claim to validate parking, youll have hope that they have enough validations on hand. If not youll be paying $10 for parking, just to shop there. I personally dont think its worth it.

These guys are idiots...I bought a display printer today and they gave me the wrong software CD. This can be fixed by downloading a driver and connecting to your printer with a USB cord. I am very familiar with HP Printers and know you do not need a USB connection to do a wireless install, if you have the right software. So now I have to go buy a $15 USB cord to install the driver as well as ink (because they left this model with absolutely no ink). After it is all said and done, I would have been better off buying the same printer (in the box) from Walmart. They should have told me about this model needed ink cartridges and they dont have the right software CD. Never going to Office Depot again
