My First Review: These guys are fantastic. Excellent customer service. I’ve used them twice and they were prompt, courteous and did very high quality work. I would strongly recommend them to my own mother. You can’t go wrong choosing them.Follow-up: The garage door had been partially lowered and I didnt notice it until I had the awful crunch on the roof as I was backing out. They were able to come out the same day and assess the damage. We ultimately went with a replacement door which they were able to install professionally and quickly. Very responsive, they gave us an 2hr window and they responded within 1hr and had someone come out and get the job done. Our service technician was Mike. He was very professional and honest. He was able to fix/repair, and tune up what was needed for our garage door all in a timely manner and had an awesome attitude the whole time. My garage door suddenly stopped working yesterday with my car trapped inside. Garage Door Service’s response time to my service call was very impressive. Within two hours someone came out, diagnosed a very rare problem, and was able to fix it, all at an extremely reasonable price. The service technician was not only friendly and knowledgeable, but he even changed a burned-out light bulb that was difficult for me to do myself. This was my second experience with this company and I highly recommend them!

I will not say that this company does not provide the service needed because they do, but at prices that if you did not know better, you wouldn’t know was outrageous! I called this company to replace a broken spring and was charged $600 for my 1 car garage, not knowing better I paid it. The next day I needed another spring replaced on my other 1 car garage but decided to shop around because it wasn’t as emergent and it was $400 for the same job. Yesterday my cable on the garage they serviced came off track and I talked to the guys that serviced my other garage before hand and he told me $155 and I told him I’d call this company to see what they’d say, they came to my home and quoted me $400 for the same job!! This is only infuriating because if I didn’t know any better I’d pay as I did the first time. And when I mentioned I’d call someone else then they asked do I know of another price. Even if they could have matched the price, their customer service is so poor and both guys that I’ve had experiences with both had horrible attitudes that I’d rather not take their service. Shop around guys! Mile High Garage is who I’ve worked with and Omar there is AMAZING!!! I recommend at least giving them a call before booking anything with these guys!

We had a spring bust for our garage door. We called at 5PM and they were able to get someone out the next morning at 9AM so that we could get our cars out of the garage. The serviceman was professional and personable and was able to get us setup with new springs quickly and even fixed some loose brackets on our door for us. Would use again! :)

So I dont know much about garage doors and when it stopped working I tried to fiddle around with it and see what was happening to no avail. We finally decided to contact Garage Door Service Inc. and David came out the same day. He resolved the issue in about 2 minutes and then explained what was not functioning appropriately (the sensors). He even showed me what I could do to fix the issue in the future. Wow! And the cost to me for his time? Free. This is a wise investment on their side as I will definitely call them again and refer others to them. Awesome work!

We just wanted it all checked out and serviced and he finds some problems and identified some real safety concerns. Broken spring needed to be replaced and Eli came out and pointed out a series of short cuts the previous owner took fixing the door. This had caused an array of damage that needed to be fixed. He did an excellent job taking care of this and the door is working like new. Great, quality work from Eli, couldn’t ask for more.

I had an emergency and called Garage Door Service and was so impressed with their service. It was later in the evening and they answered the phone and had someone dispatched quickly. Other services that I called wanted an outrageous amount of money to come out (over double of what these guys charged). Garage door spring broke when I got home from work and car was trapped in the garage. David came over within 90 minutes and had the door fixed, adjusted and tuned up. Super friendly and great service.

HIRE this company when you need help with your garage door. We’ve hired them twice now and found them to be fast, courteous, and professional. Our first time it was a simple broken spring on our system which took them no time to fix. And on a different service call, we called on a Thursday night at 5:45 pm, after what appeared our entire system (which was 15+ years old) simply died, and by 7:30 pm they were here installing a new system and had us up and running again by 8:15 pm. Reasonably priced, fast, and thorough. Super nice servicemen who won’t disappoint!

Absolutely awful. The tech worked on my garage door for 1 hour and 14 minutes, changed 2 cables, and tried to charge me $1,184.00! Then the company sent me a doctored version of the receipt I signed when demanding payment to try to cover up their mistake. Avoid this company at all costs. They’re crooks!

Our garage door got stuck halfway open the other day and we couldn’t get it to budge. Called our usual garage door service company who tried to charge us overtime at 3 in the afternoon...then called 2 hours later saying nobody was coming after all. I called this company and we had a tech out within 30 minutes. Unfortunately the door itself was broken (old wooden door)... and we needed a new one. Luckily they had one in stock and had it installed the next morning! We love our new door, it’s light, quiet, and insulated. The whole process was wonderful and we will officially be using them from here on out for any garage door needs!

I called them to replace a broken spring. Almost immediately after the tech left the garage door stopped closing. I called and when he came back I was told my opener was bad and he could replace it for $900 (we had never had an issue with it before). I did not believe him and called another company. They came and fixed the issue in 10 minutes.They told me the Garage Door Service tech did not reprogram the opener based upon the new spring. When I called Garage Door Service their response was essentially thats your problem. I dont know if it was ineptitude or dishonesty but I would recommend NEVER engaging these people to do any work for you.

David showed up within an hour to inspect what I suspected was a damaged spring at my fiancé’s home, He immediately noted it was a tension wire that was connected properly but had just came loose from its housing. I asked what I owed him and he refused any payment. God bless this man and may his kindness reap him much success!

I called several garage door companies, and David with Local First Garage Door Service was the only person willing to come out to provide a free, in-person estimate to identify the issue. He came out the next day, identified the problem and fixed it immediately. The price was reasonable, especially compared to other phone estimates. The service was great - he was on time, called to let me know he would be here and he was knowledgeable and honest about repairs. My garage door works like it is brand new, even though its very old!
