We love Maxs. Its a great place for pretty much anything you need from household cleaners, to limited stationary supplies. It has a plentiful grocery selection, delicatessen, and ice cream! You can even get some pet food and supplies there. Everyone who works there is so kind!

Love this place always has what I need and the sandwiches are quick solid and very reasonably priced.

Was only visiting for the weekend and stopped here all three days I was in town.The cookies are THE BEST! The owner was so nice and helpful. Will definitely be back, my new favorite little shop, can’t wait to try the sandwiches next time!

When I first started going to Max Market service was great. But its just going down hill. I order a Hot sandwich and it was cold. The cheese was not melted at all but cold. The meat was warm and cold is some spots and the bread was literally cold to the touch. I went back in and was told they do not heat up the bread on a Hot sandwich. Stop rushing and put more time back into your service. The owner Max was standing right next to the lady I was talking to and didnt have the audacity to comment at all!

Work close by and love having lunch here! Max’s Market makes the BEST made to order tacos! They have pastor, chicken, and asada! Stop by and try them out! They’re fire!!! 🔥🔥🔥 great deli sandwiches too!

We flew into Denver for the All Star game and wanted to get a quick bite somewhere. We came across this boutique store that we were excited to try. Not one person greeted us when we walked in, and we felt like we were annoying the staff for having to make a sandwich for us. The only words exchanged were your total is $xx. Then when you pay they have the nerve to ask for a tip. The price for both meals was outrageous. There are tons of other places to eat in the immediate area, and we recommend finding somewhere else.

I dont give out 5-star reviews often, but this place deserves it. You can tell Max really loves the store, his customers, and his work. Everyones chill. Good vibes. The sandwiches are some of the best in town, and they usually carry most flavors of Little Man ice cream.

My girlfriend and I love this place. We’re in here at least 4 days a week, and have made friends with everyone in the store. Great staff, great sammies, and a truly thoughtful collection of products.

These guys are great! I was a lunchtime regular in the pre-rona times, but I havent seen them since before the pandemic because our office was closed and I dont live downtown. As before, I was greeted as soon as I walked in and my lunch was made from scratch quickly and with care. Dont let the angry tourists fool you -- never had a bad meal or a bad experience here and dont expect I ever will. Sandwiches are delicious, too. Try the southwest turkey or the rotisserie chicken!

I freaking love this little market. They truly have a little bit of everything. AND they have awesome breakfast burritos all day for only, like, five bucks. They also carry Little Man Ice Cream and make great milkshakes and espresso shakes. We come here any time were in need of something small for the house or for a recipe. They have everything!

If i could give this zero stars i would. Max the owner has the worst customer service. Literally everything in the store is over priced, and the “latte” machine is never working……. Go the extra distance to King Soopers

Great place to go to grab any snack cravings. It was a nice experience for me for the first time. This grocery shop was fabulous! Their staff was very accommodating, helpful, and efficient in their designated jobs. Very tidy and cleaned place. Trust me! You will never be disappointed for sure! 5 stars!

This place is the BEST! Perfect neighborhood market that carries all the essentials, so you don’t have to haul it to a big supermarket every time you need something. You can tell the owner (Max) puts a lot of care into selecting high quality products and classic favorites. They have a great espresso bar for cappuccinos, mocha lattes, drip coffee etc. plus fresh baked goods (you MUST try the homemade bocadillos!). And, as if this place didn’t have it all, they have a deli with hot and cold sandwiches and other items, plus an ice cream shop! The entire staff is so friendly and gives the place a very neighborly feel. Thank you Max Market!

Very thankful for this one-stop-shop! I am glad they had this store in the city where you can find all your essentials and home needs in one place. No need to transfer one store to another store. They had everything you needed, and even to your kids needs. My kids love the chocolate aisle as they were having a hard time to choose what to buy.

Maxs market is a neighborhood staple. The staff are super friendly, they have beers and hard seltzer, plus the make hot sandwiches! Try one of their big cookies too.

I really wanted to like this place. It’s a block from my new apartment twentyone 01. I witnessed the owner scream and degrade a homeless person who was in his shop. It was heart breaking that someone could treat someone else with so little respect. Sad!

The place is clean. Love that Im able to get a decent cup of coffee when I shop there.

Do yourself a favor and stop into Max Market for some of his fresh food from the deli (sandwiches, wraps, soups, dinners, salads, etc...), for your grocery needs, grab and go meals, snacks, fresh fruits and veges and for a six pack to go! He serves breakfast all day as well! If you have a pet, he has lots of essentials and treats for them too!

This was my favorite market when I lived in downtown Denver! The cookies are the best Ive ever had. Seriously.Get. A. Cookie.And if you ever need a random item, Max Market probably has it! Definitely visiting next time we are in Denver again.

I go here often, and really like Maxs Market. The staff is always nice and friendly. The deli food is fresh and prepared well. And they have a nice selection of healthy snacks and drinks. A little bit pricey, but the convenience cant be beat!

Max is the man. The sandwiches and shakes are all delicious. For a small market they have a good selection of food and household items. Everyone there is extremely friendly and they have become a part of the neighborhood community. Max will know your name and your favorite orders within a few visits. I am in here almost every day.

I usually love going to this place since I live really close, however I try to go there at around 8:45 to pick up some last-minute snacks, and they were closed on a Tuesday. It states that they’re open until 9 PM at night, I expect them to be open until 9 PM at night and it was not a holiday whatsoever. It’s rather disappointing that the hours are not followed on this since it should be if you’re going to state certain hours online and on your store front door. If you need to change your hours on your storefront and online, please do so for the convenience of the customer.

They have a lot of great small grocery items. More than you would think. A good amount of healthy options. They also have good coffee beans to buy. Great cookies and sandwiches. They are all very friendly. Really glad they came to the neighborhood.

This is one of the only places where you can get an affogato which is vanilla ice cream with espresso coffee poured on top. They use Little Man ice cream here, which is a local Colorado ice cream company. They also make great toasted sandwiches and offer game day hot dogs and such when a sports team is playing nearby. A+

The Italian Beef Sandwich is very good. Honestly everything I have had from the deli has been quality, even the breakfast quesadilla. I would recommend checking them out as a sandwich shop alone.For me the convenience of grabbing an energy drink, snack, or that one item that is still on my list in the same stop is a great plus.

Max Market has a wide variety of general grocery goods as well as CBD oil pens, dog and cat food, bathroom goods and they also make AMAZING sandwiches, salads and other food for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The prices are very reasonable for how conveniently it is located right in the Ballpark District. If you need any household goods head to Max Market!

Ill never shop in there again. I was greeted in the deli by, whats happening brother and I asked the person not to address me as brother. The manager became angry and told me to leave the store and never come in again. I explained, just because I am a person of color, doesnt mean I want to be address as brother, my name is Kent.

Bearded guy gets whiny when you charge under $5 on a credit card. Instead of putting up a sign or enacting a $5 minimum, he just gives us attitude. Brothers Market is 1 block away and much better.

I spent a portion of my lunch hour over here and it was well worth it. I had some salted oreo ice cream, matter of fact two scoops at a great price. Very well made ice cream made locally by a company called Little Man. Thick with a rich texture. Just enough oreo cookie and just enough salt. I plan on trying all of the flavors they offer. The store its self is a quaint place products are nicely merchandised. If you were getting ready for a picnic in the park or the Rockies game, the store is laid out so perfect that you could simply walk from the front door to the check out counter and simply pick the fundamentals along your way. Let me see I need:Thermal tote, check!Chips Check !Pickles, check!Soda, Check!Cheese and fruit Check!head to the Delhi for some boars head meatsMade to order sandwichs, check!Cheeses, Check !Pasta salads, check !Got sweets and any other good needed. Crap service unless you walk in with a suit! Serious class discrimination and race issue here. Anytime I come in with a suit it is hello sir how may help you, come in with jeans the other day the girl at front counter didnt greet me, I get back to deli and stand for 30 seconds while douche guy with black beard and tats ignores me and even looks back at me after finishing what he doing and doesnt say one moment or hello.! He literally starts another project, I absolutely was treated like trash. I counted and no one spoke to me for over a minute and this was as I stated walking out the girl tried help but I brushed her like dirt on my shoulder and I went to Mexico city with great service. I make over 3 times what this guys salary is and am in medical school yet when Im in jeans Im just some N word to this guy. The ultra pale, extremely ugly guy with beard should be slapped to reality and know your a bum sandwich maker over 35 with no future but failed attempts to be dignified as nothing more than modern servant.

They have a good selection and are always extremely friendly. The deli is also great with good tasting and high quality food.

I was treated with attitude by an employee when I went to pickup my GrubHub order and they never received it. I said no problem and showed them my phone with the receipt.10 minutes later this guy with a beard gets in my face telling me I dont care what your phone says we arent taking anymore Grubhub orders so were not doing this and on and on.It was incredibly disrespectful and unwarranted, so much so that I actually have to write a review about it.

I agree with some of the other reviews about this place being classist/elitist. The owner literally kicked me and my wife out today right after we put our shopping bags down. Had every intention of getting lunch/drinks. Been coming here for a while now, will never come back.

They have no idea what pastrami is. Their pastrami SA switch is actually corned beef, and poor quality at that. Oy... They need a lesson from 2nd Ave Deli!

Bought a breakfast sandwich at almost five dollars and received the equivalent of a product youd see under a heat lamp at a gas station. For a place that bills as a deli, I was a bit surprised to see an american single make its way onto my sandwich with a selection of actual cheese nearby.Nothing on the menu gave any indication that this is what I should expect. Bad, boring sandwich at a higher price, and from a place that calls itself a deli.

Not a huge selection, but very nice quality on what is available. The little man ice cream is to die for!
