Great 🍨!!We were passing through and this place came up as a top 3 ice cream place and we went in to find more than half of the ice cream flavors were missing because their cooler went down, however there were still 10 flavors to choose from.The two we ended up with were double stuff cookies and cream and the dark chocolate cherry 🍒The cookies and cream tasted so fresh the cookies were still crunchy! Hubby said it was the best cookies and cream hes had and he really enjoyed that it wasnt a vanilla based ice cream. The chocolate ice cream in the chocolate cherry might have been the best chocolate ice cream Ive ever had.Too bad we were just passing through! Truly great quality, friendly staff and nice little outside court yard to eat it in!

I had a custom ice cream cake made at Nuggs and it turned out AMAZING! The flavors were delish (coffee and vanilla) and the design was so cute and well done. I told the team that my friend liked card games and they went big! This cake was so yummy, super adorable for a custom-designed look, and it was really easy to work with the Nuggs team. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for an awesome ice cream cake!

I had a birthday cake milkshake shake it didnt bring all the boys to the yard but it was delicious and fast and I got some free lemon water

I could not have been any more satisfied with my visit a couple weeks ago. Portions are gigantic and there are a lot of interesting flavors; they even had blue moon ice cream, which took me back to the time I lived in the Midwest. The other flavor pictured is banana cream, which is like a banana cream pie but in ice cream form. I was very impressed, and Ill definitely be back next time Im in the area.

Nuggs Ice cream was delicious! The staff were so funny and friendly! I really loved them, you can have great ice cream but if the people serving you are not kind that defeats the purpose. They were awesome! And gave me a super large cookie and Oreo scoop more than what I deserved! My wife had the birthday flavor! Awesome they definitely deserve the 2019 and 2021 best Ice Cream store in Colorado! Awesome ice cream + awesome staff! Keep it up guys we are praying for you! Definitely highly recommend to everyone!

Conveniently located and a lovely treat for me after I run errands. My only complaint is that the ice cream itself seems to be more on the watery/icy side than creamy. But overall I keep coming back because of their fun rotating flavors!

Great ice cream spot with lots of flavors/toppings/varieties of sugary sweets! The staff is friendly and all ice creams are made in house. They had 1 vegan ice cream flavor (selfishly I wish they offered more) but my dairy friends said their ice cream was completely delicious. My only suggestion would be to offer more dairy-free items, but all around a great spot in Denver!

I’m in town for the week and decided to pop into Nuggs based on the 4.7 average review. I ordered the Rocky Mt Chocolate & Amazing Joy (I believe those were the names) & was very disappointed. The Rocky Mt had a terribly unpleasant texture/flavor to it and the Amazing Joy was rubbish as well. If it were based solely on the “goods” I’d give it a 1 star. However… My boys enjoyed their ice cream and the two ladies that served us were attentive. A couple employees were just hanging around and goofing off in the back though which wasn’t professional. I will be looking elsewhere to satisfy my sweet tooth for the remainder of my visit.

Excellent service with a marked smile! I had the housemade lemon Italian ice and it was delicious! Our service was excellent and carried our quickly without feeling rushed. The rest of our motley crew had varying varieties of ice cream equally delicious and when one of them had a cone emergency the staff was right there at the ready with a spoon and cup. Definitely worth the trip and I will be returning!

Great experience! I got a strawberry blonde taco with hot fudge and whipped cream and it was great! The ice cream especially was amazing. Very unique flavor I’ve never heard of before. The atmosphere is so cute and they have an open outdoor patio where you can eat but the inside is closed due to COVID-19. Great experience overall!

Well.... The ice cream they did have was good. However they had almost none of the flavors available that they had listen online. So I guess go there not expecting anything in particular and you will be pleased.

First time here and they’ve earned my ice cream loyalty. First off, the service from the crew that was working was awesome! Great personalities from the entire team and the sample sizes was how it should be, girthy and really got the pallet tasting the entire flavor profile of the ice cream. The ice cream flavors in itself were great! I had the double stuffed cookies n’ cream and brofinger in a waffle cone. Absolutely a shop that knows how to give a serving that makes you feel well fed and leaving satisfied. 💯 stand behind this place. Thank you, and what an awesome crew you have serving you customers!

A giant serving of delicious ice cream. They offer a great variety of well done classics and fun flavors. Both the toasted coconut and strawberry were chock full of the fruit and super filling. Will definitely be going back soon

I used to absolutely LOVE this place! The flavors arent that great anymore. Between my husband and my child we had 4 different flavors and they were just kind of boring. I had checked on the website to see their current flavors and I was interested in about 5 flavors that the website mentioned but they didnt have any of those available to scoop when I got there. I also find it very hard to read the ice cream flavors from afar. They have these artsy flavor labels for each flavor up above the scooping cabinets, but the font is SO hard to read. With Covid-times you have to kind of wait until you get all the way to the register to see all the flavors (if you actually choose to social-distance properly). Then the people behind you are all mad because it takes you a whole 10 seconds to read all the flavors and order. They certainly werent enforcing social-distancing in line, since the guy behind me was basically pushing me out of the way at the register when I was trying to pay. I think it would be very helpful if they had an easy to read menu of their current offerings posted outside or in their window while youre waiting in line so everyone can be more prepared to order ahead of time, especially since their website flavor options arent up to date. I left feeling disappointed.

Great product but no rum raisin and no Samples offered to my party, after we purchased our ice cream another group came in and was offered samples oddly no explanation.

Management should have had the foresight to warn all future customers to beware of product substitution when it gets later in the evening and displayed flavors are in short supply. I have been going to Nuggs for quite some time. I have been a sporatic, due to career demands, but loyal customer non the less for many years. I have no inside intel to back this next statement up, however Im pretty confident if DeAndre was still there he would be able to identify me with the order of 4 Quarts. Always the same flavors with the occasional quart swap for the in seasonal peach flavor. I have been away for some time and have been looking forward to coming back and enjoying the great American treat of Ice Cream. Tonight was a huge disappointment, not in flavor but in slight of hand. As I approached the counter for my order to be taken I noticed the flavor I wanted was low in the container and an employee picked the bucket up out of the chiller and moved it to the back counter. Another employee asked me for my order and I replied, I was wanting a couple of scoops of Salted Caramel but he just pulled it because it was low. She said dont worry we have another container back. I replied, Okay. She rang me up, I paid before receiving my order then exited the store upon receiving my Salted Caramel cone. To my surprise when I got into my vehicle and tasted what was served to me it was way short of salted caramel. It was a Maple flavor instead of Caramel. I know this sounds quite miniscule its only ice cream, right? But when you spend months and months away from the US and look forward to a handful of things when you return only to find employees of a company who have accepted the practice of deceit so they dont have to watch a customer leave without purchasing after being told the truth that they are unable to fill your order and instead make the decision to fill the order with the next closest flavor, playing the odds that by the time the customer tastes it it wont be worth the effort to come back in. Like I mentioned, this is not a huge disappointment of flavor, the maple whatever tasted fine, what ice cream doesnt taste fine? It is the deceitful business practice to move product out the door at all costs that needs to be brought to every individuals attention.

The guy working behind the counter was kind and helpful. We got a double scoop cup with cheesecake and chocolate cherry. I am normally a chocolate or nothing type of gal. I appreciated the cheesecake scoop more than the chocolate. Super creamy and not too sweet. Tasted just like a piece of cheesecake in ice cream form.

Classic ice cream place with a wide selection of dairy based ice creams and friendly service. For the non-dairy people they had one coconut based flavor which was great and a couple Italian ice flavors. Overall great experience, only comment would be to put some of that great creative ice cream making energy into a few more non-dairy options :-)

This place is great they have a lot of selections on ice cream and ways to prepare it everything from in-store cones to Sugar cones if youre not sure about a flavor you could always ask for a sample everything is made in store and its just borderline great also not too pricey and I feel is very affordable and great value. The employees are very nice and quick to help what highly recommend this place

I eat a lot of ice cream. A lot.I’ve mostly moved on from Sweet Cow, spend entirely too much money at Little Man and blow through a half gallon of Blue Bell about as fast as my Jeep blows through a tank of gas.Nuggs has it down. Interesting selection, great flavor and consistency. And I never thought I’d find a better banana pudding than LM’s, but there’s doesn’t hold a candle to Nuggs.Worth the 30 minute drive for sure.

I first found Nuggs when I lived off Elm St, almost across the street from them 5 years ago. My dog and I would take weekly walks to get ice cream and sit on the patio. Even living 10mins away now, they are my fav 🍨 and my go to when Im needing some scoops! My guilty pleasure is a triple scoop with Double Stuffed Cookies n Cream, Pablos Danger Monkey Coffee and Salted Caramel 😋

Will return again took away one star because the bowl they gave me had cracks in the corners which cause the icecream to melt all over my clothes.ATP im an expert ice cream eater and should be able to savor the flavor instead of eating like a savage to prevent making a mess.

Wow! I had pineapple whip non dairy soft frozen treat and it was out if this world delicious.

I love this place! The waffle cones are really tasty, and if you want a sundae the vanilla ice cream comes with unlimited toppings.

Decent ice cream, good flavor selection, and they give you a bunch of ice cream. The only reason I have it as 4 stars is that I generally prefer ice cream with a higher milk fat concentration & a bit creamier.

Ice cream tasted icey not creamy, and was a bit overpriced. Service was slow but friendly.

Sorry to say the banana flavored icecream had no flavor. Also the consistency of cream in icecream gave the impression of icemilk.Icecream was soft and ran out of the bottom of waffle cone...Displayed flavors not very excitingly. Sorry to say but very disappointing.

A friend of mine told me about Nugg’s. I’ve since became a fan of their wonderful ice cream. Every flavor I’ve tried has been so flavorful. My favorite so far has been the Strawberry Blonde. A close second is the nuggle cheescake

I actually wrote about my experience here, but am not sure what happened to that part???....Well, anyway, my experience at Nuggs Ice Cream was WONDERFUL and DELICIOUS!!! The staff were extremely friendly AND helpful as well as patient considering I was having such a difficult time deciding what to get since EVERYTHING looked SOOO YUMMY!!! I ultimately decided to go with the recommendations given to me by both the staff and the other lovely patrons that were clearly regulars. Those happened to be the Cookies and Cream (seems to very much be a favorite across the board) and the Strawberry Blonde. Both flavors were AMAZING! I look forward to going back and trying more of there many other sweet ice cream treats! They have a great selection of classic with a twist flavors as well as thier own unique creations. I cant imagine anyone not being able to find something that theyd love, if you truly are an ice cream lover, at the shop! 🍦🍨😁👍

Cool little spot, and very cutesy. Generous with scoop size and friendly staff. Also very conscious about COVID precautions. I got the salted caramel and it was delicious. My wife got the blue moon and it tasted just like fruit loops but with a little bit of extra sweetness.

Needs more vegan / dairy free options. But the pineapple was very yummy.

This place is wicked cute, so inviting and has amazing ice cream too! Triple threat and then some. Friendly staff, neighborly atmosphere and fun decor all add to the extensive ice cream menu which includes larger than life ice cream sandwiches and an absolutely sublime affogato (If you love coffee more than ice cream as I do - this ones for you!).

Words do not do justice to the feeling of warmth and welcome that I feel at Nuggs. Since learning of this shop, I have been a loyal customer. I bring in every person I know to come experience the delight that is Blue Moon ice cream. Blue Moon is a Michigan flavor, but Colorado’s Nuggs does it better. My feelings for Nuggs are nothing less than love and kinship. The staff knows me by name and remembers my preferences. It’s hard not to, since I go there every chance I get.

Great little place and you can get a single scoop that is actually two different flavors. So much better than two massive scoops.

This is a great little find! First off they sell my favorite coffee, Pablos. Secondly, they are open until 11 in the summer. Amazing. The staff is super friendly and knowledgable. They have some personality and seem like they love their job. Just a great place to go. We will definitely be back!!

Ive had this place on my list for ever... Im so glad theyre still open! Delicious flavors... kids loved the Bluemoon, hubby had blueberry tiramasu, my double stuffed oreo and rocky mountain road were amazing. Oreo was so creamy!!! Definitely a must return.

I am SO IMPRESSED. Decor is adorable, their flavors are amazing (literally 100 Oreos per bucket in the cookies and cream and the strawberry blonde) and their holiday flavors are on point. Service was also impeccable! The 3 guys there were so nice and really gave us the royal treatment when they found out it was our first time. Highly recommended!
